Separatist Clashes In Far East Russia

Far East, 17 May 2026 - Recently, separatist uprisings have sparked in the Far East region of Russia. In the cities of Yakutsk, Irkutsk, and Novosibirsk, clashes between Russian garrison and separatist militants wreaked havoc on the peace in these areas; the separatists were heavily armed, and captured Kudu-Kyuyol, a rural locality in the Sakha Republic of Russia.

The separatists were a far-left guerilla organization called the "Far East Revolutionary Liberation Front". According to a Chinese think tank, the organization's goal is to create an independent sovereign state in the eastern region, free from "Rashism (Russian Fascism)." They condemned the Russian invasion of China nearly two years ago, and denounced the Russo-Japanese Alliance as "a sign of rising Imperialism." Around 6-10 May, APCs, IFVs and T-21 Nebula tanks rolled through the streets of Yakutsk. A tank battalion of the 18th Guards Tank Army, stationed in Mirny, responded to the upheaval, and violent clashes broke out between the tank battalion and the Sakhan militants. Civilians were immediately sent to nearby underground bunkers in the wake of the clashes.

Today, members of the FERLF based in a rural locality called Kudu-Kyuyol declared an enclave independent from the Russian Federation. Since then, Kudu-Kyuyol is currently the target of frequent raids by Spetsnaz units. Sakhan militants in nearby rural areas have claimed hegemony.

Leader of the United Socialist States of Nurvania, Tom Easton, announced military and economic aid to the FERLF, stating the threat Russia posed during the Second Pacific War, and cannot take any chances. Nurvania is going to support the FERLF's goal of a sovereign state in the East, free from the Russian dictatorship.

Well, no one's playing India at the moment, and I've rped building the strongest airforce and missile defense systems on the continent, so I guess I would just bomb any resistance to the ground? Idk, it's only a little land anyways, I could probably just pay reperations.

In the meantime, we would begin large bombing raids and missile strikes on important AA targets and military facilities in Bangladesh, knocking out it's meager capabilities for resistance, as we would then land paratroopers equipped with modern weaponry to seize factories, ports, and other important government and economic buildings, using our massive airforce to coordinate targeted strikes in Bangladeshi positions, both offensive and defensive positions, as well as utilizing missile strikes on all non-civilian targets to cripple economy and military, forcing their surrender and giving us port access.

After the conquest, we would construct a massive system of tunnels miles underneath the earths surface to connect these two territories (I'm literally a mountain country, you expected me to NOT have tunnels down?)

I'm just playing off of a non-historical scenario where Bhutan is kinda like District 13 from the Hunger Games ig.
Very secretive, yet has modern tech and tunneling knowledge.
But, maybe the tunnels don't have to be MILES under the surface, maybe a couple hundred feet.

India & Myanmar Declare War on Ligudol, Sakhan Militants Capture Yakutsk & Bratsk, & Khakassia Republic

24 May 2026 - Witnessing the events in Bangladesh, the powers of India and Myanmar have declared War on the Thunder Dragon Empire, and new developments have occured in the unrest in the Russian Far East.

The Republic of India and the Republic of The Union of Myanmar have both declared War on the Thunder Dragon Empire in the wake of the TDE's aggression against the small nation of Bangladesh. Indian prime minister Harinder Begam has commented on the recent events, calling it "a disturbance to the newly established peace", and comparing it to the Russian invasion of China. Today, artillery shelling hit the area of Jiagon, from the Indian side of the border. Indian forces have already captured half of the Dorokha region, and made gains in the region of Ligudol near the city of Kathmandu.

Two days ago, Sakhan militants occupied the cities of Yakutsk, and Bratsk in the Irkutsk Oblast. The flag of the Far Eastern Republic with a red star was raised and flown over both cities this morning. The leader of the FERLF spoke at the Square today, proclaiming the restoration of the Far Eastern Republic, a democratic and free state, separate from the "fascist Russian state". The nearest Russian forces are currently being deployed to these areas, while the cities are under heavy surveillance by Russian recon aerial units.

According to the Nurvanian Defense Sector, Nurvania has begun shipping heavy arms, small arms, APCs, AFVs, and Narodnik III railgun tanks to FERLF insurgents, through the Nurvanian-occupied Khabarovsk Krai region. Nurvania has also begun stationing naval vessels at the rebuilt naval port of Vladivostok.

The Thunder Dragon Empire has been preparing for a war with India, ever since their totally-legal occupation of the Sikkim region (finally found out what its called lol). With large garrisons of troops already stationed in Bangladesh, they would quickly set intertwining lines of fortifications along the Gangnes, Meghna, and Brahmaputra rivers, using the tunnels constructed unbeknownst to the Indian Government to flood the eastern regions of India, splitting off the eastern portions of India from the mainland.

In the mountains, they would unveil the crown jewel of defensive fortifications in the entire world:
The Buddhas Way of Life Defense System, or the BWLDS for short. It consists of miles of heavily fortified bunkers and turrets, as well as advanced AA Guns and Missile Defense systems, and with already mountainous, rough, and rugged terrain, it is almost impossible for Indian, and much less Burmese soldiers to penetrate our defenses.

We would sacrifice all land west of Kathmandu in order to focus on destroying India's eastern exclave, which we would be able to do with large bombing and missile raids using advanced bombers and rockets supported by modern fighters.
