As per my previous telegrams:

I am requesting to lock this thread because:

1. I do not wish to pursue this resolution as the NSWA Discord on this matter has turned into discussions over whether corpses are edible, the health issues associated with a dead body, and other matters for which I find abhorrent;

2. I also believe that a significant number of replies to the forumside is contrary to my own personal religious beliefs (regardless of whether Moderation finds to be in breach of the rules) especially as it regards to desecration of a corpse;

3. I am not a lawyer of Victoria, Australia but I do believe that some comments made gameside would be skidding close to contravening laws in the state of Victoria (regardless of the views of Moderation) and I believe, in the interest of NationStates as whole, that this is best prevented by shutting discussions altogether;

Request, yes, though very occasionally we may deny them. I think there have been a couple of occasions that SC authors have tried to have their threads locked to shut down legitimate criticisms of their actions, and we've sometimes denied lock requests from them on that basis. (Not saying that's the case here, but posting for the record in the event someone cites Fris's post in the future as blanket approval for any WA proposal thread locks when requested by author.)
