Until a warning popped up on the flight deck’s control interface. “Missile inbound! Deploy countermeasures!” A surface to air missile was hurling at the Mist Surfer, the crew panicked deploying countermeasures and taking evasive maneuvers. But it was too late, a sudden bright flash turned the sky blood red, the craft was engulfed by flames. It slowly began to plummet into the shallow waters of the Mediterranean Sea just off of Turia’s coast.
The 1st Carrier Strike Group of the Guavalandian Navy was dispatched to the site, the sea filled with debris floating on the surface, a team of experts was tasked with retrieving anyone alive and finding the flight records. The news soon arrived to the President, 5 out of the 20 crew members survived, the flight records indicate that the missile was launched by the Turians, the Mist Surfer was just flying over the Turian sea with permission for a peacekeeping mission to the Palestinians.
President Cole Phelps openly criticized the Turian regime for its actions, and states that if any further acts of aggression are made, Guavalandia will not stand down without a fight.
Meanwhile, in the disputed territories near the Jordanian Caliphate, a small group of Jordanian soldiers were patrolling the area when they encountered another group of Saudi soldiers who were on patrol. Not realizing that those troops were from their neighboring country, the Saudi soldiers fired at the Jordanians without hesitation, and a skirmish broke out between troops from both sides. Leading to something perhaps worse, an era of Conflict and probable civil wars.
It was then that everything began to fall apart, forming the great storm of fire. Most of the nations have missile silos filled with the weapons of certain and utmost mass destruction, but it will be up to the leaders to use use them or not and the world to intervene, or maybe show a side of…faith?

At week 1, direct invasions won’t be allowed. At the end of the weeks, which is week 5, nukes will be made available to use. After week 5, the IC will continue for an unlimited amount of weeks to come, and I’ll still be making posts and the end of each week (if possible)
Recommended posting schedule: diplomatic actions -> Skirmishes or strikes -> invasion -> treaty and peace
Or you can just go the diplomatic path forever.
