Message From The
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Free Republic of Brasilistan
If you are receiving this message you have been recommended by the Boldonian Department of State as a potential diplomatic friend to the Free Republic of Brasilistan. A representative and entourage are invited to attend a party at the Presidential Residence in the City of Brasilis, in which your representative will have the opportunity to negotiate with the Free Republic of Brasilistan concerning a potential friendship. Should you not care about the Free Republic of Brasilistan, this is also a good opportunity to meet with the several representatives from the Independent Republic of Boldonia that will be attending.
The Presidential Residence, formerly the General Secretary's Palace or Weston's Palace, is located on the slopes of a mountain overlooking the Brasilis skyline. It has a quite large lobby and dining room, as well as several other rooms for you to gather in. While primarily this party will be held in the residence, several parties will be occurring around the nation including the City of Brasilis which we will not stop any of your representatives from attending. We do however ask that you follow these rules:
1. All weapons are prohibited. The Brasilistani Presidential Guard and Independent Republic of Boldonia Security Corps will provide more than adequate security.
2. If you intend to leave the compound, alert security and do not leave without either Brasilistani or Boldonian escort.
3. Combat is prohibited. Should you engage in combat with any attendees you will either be shot by the Brasilistani Presidential Guard or arrested by the Independent Republic of Boldonia Security Corps.
4. Do not bring alcohol or drugs, alcoholic beverages will be provided for free at the compound or can be purchased at one of the may bars in the city.
5. Any drunk, drugged, or belligerent person will be escorted back to the airport where upon they will be returned to their origin nation.
6. We must make it clear that it may not be entirely safe to send the head of state or head of government. There is still currently an insurgency in the West Peninsula, which although it is under control may have some effect on the City of Brasilis.
Brasilis, Free Republic of Brasilistan
After arriving to the airport, the foreign representatives are brought onto a convoy of humvees which take them to the Presidential Residence. Once at the circle drive in front of them they exit in front of a checkpoint where they pass through metal detectors. In front of them is a tan Greek Revival Mansion with white pillars. Scaffolding lines the front walls, although it appears that construction and renovation has ceased for the party in the meantime.
Once they step inside the styling radically shifts to a more modern style. They are in a large lobby with a large window covering the wall on the otherwise, overlooking the city skyline with construction cranes littered all over it. It is here most of the representatives and Brasilistanis are, standing around champagne or wine in hand conversing with each other. President of the Free Republic of Brasilistan enters the room from the right side and yells out, "The other foreigners have arrived!" The Boldonians and Brasilistani all smile and wave or nod their head. However the American, German, and British turn their back and continue their conversation almost refusing to acknowledge them.
