The Georgian counter offensive lead by Ukraine failed after the flanking attempt through eastern Turkey has been slowed down. However the forces where still able to take some land on the entire southern frontlines and encircleing a force of the Iranian army, while only suffering acceptable and symetrical casualties due to heavy air support by HE-21 Stealth bomber raids, which played a big role in softening up of the heavy fortifications.
