Tate Brothers are released from prison, your opinion?

Recently the Tate brothers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate have been released from prison and put on house arrest on March 29th, 2023. The former kick boxer posted a message saying. "I win. no tears". He has also said in a video saying he has been focusing on doing push-ups and been reading the Qur'an. Along with this he has been fasting Ramadan. In fact, he still does have his case resuming so only time will tell where this will go.

Now I would love to hear your opinion on this so please reply.

I dont have much of a opinion on this issue, I really hope that he converted to Islam because of his heart and not to gain sympathy from us Muslims. But I do believe that this issue should be solved using the legal system.

Is it really so simple for you as a Muslim to give the benefit of the doubt to a rapist human trafficker just because he said "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger"?

I'm not a Muslim or any kind of believer but if I was I think I'd at least want to see a little bit of evidence, like maybe him making public his finances to show that he's paid Zakat? And even that wouldn't be real confirmation but I bet the dude is so greedy he won't even donate that 2.5% of his income.

This is a matter for the Romanian courts. I prefer to leave it in their apparently capable hands. I am pleasantly surprised at their independence so far. I hadn't expected that so soon from a country once under the iron grip of Nicolae Ceausescu.

Keeping someone who isn't actually proven guilty or even charged of anything in custody for that long is a miscarriage of justice, but one which will be let slide of course.

It's not. Once the alleged victims came forward and said it didn't happen the whole thing has fallen apart. The only people who still "believe" the prosecution at this point are the ones who don't care if it's true or not.

I am not a fan of courts or the legal system being able to tell people their intent, or what they are thinking. In this case the Romanian prosecutors told these women they had been brainwashed, regardless of what they actually said.

Zakat is payable once a year (except special kinds of zakat if he has plantations, gold and such), if you want that you'd have to wait until Idul Fitri.

EDIT: I just realized him being an influencer means he should pay professional zakat on top of zakat fitrah.
