As your country is a monarchy, I think the first flag is better. Starts to remember me of revolution/republic.

there is something with the colours. I don't identify blue and white for Spain. better Red - White or purple. Probabl the B option is more correct for flag. but the size and location of the star doesn't convince me. In my opinion is too large and to low.

Sorry. I saw your country's classification as Holy Empire. Usually, this classification is an absolute monarchy (autocratic) or constitutional monarchy (democracy).

Anyway, if your country doesn't have an Emperor or ruler, the flag with the star in my opinion is better.

I voted B. It's a simple and straightforward design. The focus of the flag is the star in the middle, which is striking. Flag A's box-in-a-box-in-a-box aesthetic is a little cluttered. However, I do like the central symbol. Perhaps a combination of the two ideas would be the best overall, but between the 2, Flag B wins in my mind

Honestly both flags are good and flag B is more simple

B's simplicity is better as a national flag. If you really want to use both, Flag A could be in your factbook as a military flag, province or state flag, or the flag of your head of government.
