Which fast food chain is better?
Chick-Fil-A, classic chicken sandwiches, savory and flavorful waffle fries, full with ice cream machines that do work (yay!), and juicy nuggets and tenders.

Or:

McDonald's, or should I say, Mickey D's, home of the famous Big Mac, shoestring flavorful but not really fresh fries, ice cream machines that do not work (sad D:), and what appears to be okay nuggets, and their buttermilk crispy tenders.

* Note: Unfortunately there's no Chick Fil A outside America and Canada, and McDonald's outside America hits better than the ones at America. So most likely people will say Mickey D's is better.

Personal OP: I think Chick-Fil-A is better when it comes to chicken in general, because the chicken sammies almost never miss. The nuggets are reduced in size but are tastier and juicier than Mickey D's cardboard nuggets (sorry mickey d fans!). The ice cream machine always work, and the ice cream itself also hits.

chick fil a tastes better, but i don't go out of my way to buy it. if someone's buying it for me, sure, but it's too expensive and too homophobic for me to regularly go out of my way to eat it.

mcdonalds is perfectly serviceable if i want something fast, cheap, and edible. it's not awful, but it's not great. i honestly kinda like their fries, and their mcnuggets are way more nostalgic than anything chick fil a makes.

overall? i'm more inclined to buy mcdonalds, but i prefer chick fil a's food. mcdonalds has the nostalgia factor and the fact that they're not homophobic hypocrites, though. mac tonight is also the best fast food mascot ever.

Before I even heard a murmur about Chick-fil-a's ideological...thing...a Chick-fil-a opened near me and I thought, "Oh, they're the place with the cows holding 'eat more chikin' signs, I will give them a whirl with this free chicken sandwich coupon they have sent me."

Having said that, I imagine if the first McDonald's hamburger I had ever eaten was as an adult my reaction would also be "what in the fucking hell is wrong with all of you people? This meat literally tastes like boogers, and I didn't know I remembered that taste from being 4, but now I do."

But my first McDonald's hamburger was a little too close to a regrettable period where that apparently didn't bug me. While I generally only have McDonalds once a year when I realize too late that the Shamrock Shake has come and gone and otherwise avoid it at all costs, I will actually go to a McDonald's on rare occasions. I wouldn't go to Chick-fil-a on a dare at this point and that's before their policies get involved.

I expected chicken. Got some weird slimy thing that I was assured was chicken but I'm not convinced.

I am, however, able to read a menu so no, I was not expecting crispy chicken. But thanks for your concern.

recently got a cane's near me. have yet to try it, mostly because i don't go out of my way to get fast food. i get it whenever i have to eat at work and that's about it.
