Greater Marine is a multi-cultural nation, a melting pot of French, Hispanic and English cultures, but with influences from all over the world, and is known for its theatre, music, literature and filmmaking. The capital and largest city is Eldorado, a thriving megacity of 15 million people, which is a global hub for cultural tourism and food, and is home to the country's main universities, banking, retail and tourism industries. Greater Marine has an average income of $66,400, making it one of the wealthiest countries on earth, and the country scores highly for political freedoms, press freedoms and individual liberties.
