Description:
Hanami Matsuri is an anime festival, open to everyone, and themed around the Japanese tradition of flower viewing. For this year's festival, participants will be sorted into 2 teams: Sakura and Wisteria. The festival will include a wide variety of anime-themed quizzes, events, and viewings! The schedule and discord will be open to the public on March 23rd, so stay tuned for more information in the coming week! This festival has been a lot of fun to plan so we hope to see you all there!

Best Girl Battles
Also known as Waifu Wars, this fan-favorite tournament returns with a sweet 16 characters who will face off each other in a voting competition for the title of Best Girl! Now I'm not claiming this is the best single-elimination tournament taking place this time of year, but let's just say it is sure to be absolute madness!
To put a spin on things, we have (for the most part) come back with an entirely new lineup!
Voting will be done on discord, with a vote (or two) held daily!
Anime Streams
Across the festival, we will be streaming 3 separate animes, all at varying timezones to make sure everyone gets a chance to tune in!
All of them will have English subtitles, so look forward to that!
Mudae
What is Mudae? Mudae is the creator and destroyer of relationships, a Gacha discord bot that facilitates trickery and cooperation.
Build your dream waifu collection with Mudae but beware, for others may be gunning for your waifus too.
As we saw last year, it isn't easy creating your ultimate collection. You have to be cunning, savage, and always alert. Nevertheless, we are excited to see which way the waifus fall and, in the end, who reigns supreme!
Last but not least on highlights, we'll be introducing - Anime Games!
Aside from the typical party games that will happen across the festival, this year we are rolling out some Anime specific games that are sure to please your inner-weeb! This year, join us for Anime Bingo, Guess that Anisong, and Guess that Chara! Additionally, festivalgoers can head to the Shrine to draw a fortune with Omikujis, or scratch their creative writing itch in our themed Haiku Contest!
