AN Loading Screen Tips

Inspired by AN's loading screen by Great United States and, to an extent, AN Video Game Achievements by Karazicu.

So, say you were on a loading screen, about to spawn into the Above Nation (AN) or a game set in the AN. What tips/tricks/secrets does the loading screen reveal to you?

Please at least skim over some of the AN's factbooks and come up with something at least slightly thoughtful and considerate of the AN's lore. Feel free, of course, to go above and beyond; multiple tips would be even more helpful!

Let's start. For the User Control Panel's loading screen:

The character limit for signatures is 800 characters. However, this only includes visible characters, not formatting.

Nations in your 'Friends' list will be highlighted when online.

Be sure to consider both dark mode and light mode users when designing your signature.

You must seek a compromise that will make both the zapatistas and conservative mps happy, so don’t side with one side or the other, unless you want a worker’s revolt or civil war

but...the zapatista operate in mexico, not insulamia... don't just take a brief glance at the sig and not read anything else; not even the part in that very sig where it says "This angered Mexico's government"

lol why are you still talking about the zapatistas? they are literally not a part of insulamian politics at all; they're a militant group that controls a small area of mexico... insulamia's primeminister just so happened to comment on them (he doesn't just have to talk about things happening in the nation, y'know!)

Lamps are a good place to find quests and other people.

Ant structures are usually a good place to find various types of fungus

If in doubt, ask someone. Nova Universans are generally forthcoming and helpful.

Be mindful of cleanliness. The City is a hotspot for infectious tropical diseases.

Don't walk into the forest alone. Hire a registered guide before visiting the jungle.

Don't be shocked of nude people in the City's parks. It is normal and allowed by local laws.

The City's gas network is leaky. If you smell gas, run away very quickly and call the firemen.

Boldonia:

Choosing a Multiversal race will give you a -75% penalty to others' opinion of you. When in doubt, pick Human.

Don't get tired from Boldonia's constant elections.

Never mention the Brasilistani.

Nova Universo:

Esperanto is one of the nation's largest languages. Make sure to at least know a few words, like "saluton" and such.

Give the otters a few snacks. They're hungry too.

Try out some local cuisine to fulfill your hunger.
