Airport Introduction

Kobe International Airport is located on the western outskirts of Obrela's largest city, Kobe, about 4km from the city centre. It is the only international airport in the country, and brings in many tourists, most of whom then take connecting flights to other parts of the island. I was established in 1913 as a Pacfic military airbase for the Japanese, and was converted into a civilian airport in 1984. In 2022, approximately 600,000 tourists passed through its doors.
