First MD will be at 6:00pm/18:00 of 21th January 2023. After that two MD's will be played every 48 hours of real time. Group B will play on its own fixture due to uneven numbers of the teams, so be careful! We will end group stage at 27th January of real time, bar anything unusual happened.

Each MD is four days of in-game time, because teams needed to relax between games and move from one city to other. This allows use only a limited number of stadiums. We begins 1th December by Trolleborg in-game calendar, ending group stage at 28th December or so of in-game time.

Results of first two matchdays
Results of the MD 3 and 4
Results of MD 5 and 6
Last matchday of Groups A, C and D, and three last MD of Group B
First round of playoff stage
Quarterfinals
Semifinals
Final and game for the third place

Welcome to the world of Nation States Sport!
As (almost all of) you all are first-timers in the exciting and lively world of NSSport, I try my best to make your integration into our community as convenient and easy as possible.

Beginning:
Right now you neeeded to publish some details about your team in this thread - yes, here and not where you made applications.
Usually players published:
* team lineup itself, with some set of details about the players, from the name and indications of their usual position on the field to the background like teams they played, height, weight, and preferred leg to made a shots from right to the detailed description of their preferences and character traits
* information about the coaching staff
* usual formation of the team, like 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 and so on
* information about the tactics of the team - whether it plays long passes, short passes, prefers fast counterattacks or ball control, uses pressure, etc.
* color and style of uniform (either in text or pictures)
* information about your country, fans, etc.
* of course, you can skip either of them or add something your own.

You can also go and look for ideas threads of last NSSport football tournaments: here, here, or here.

You must also add your Style modifier from+3 - 3 range (Usually in NSS Sports +5-5) where +3 is all-out attacking football and -3 is a clearly defensive scheme of game. It's not change your fate at all: if you lose, with style -3 you will lose 0-1, and with +3 something like 3-4 or 2-3, but, for example, having +3 did not give you a victory and not at all buttressing your chances for a win.
You can't change your style of game when tournament will begins.

And also you must publish permission box with following details:
My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my goalscorers: Yes\No
Godmod scoring events: Yes\No
RP injuries to my players: Yes\No.
Godmod injuries to my players: Yes\No
Hand out yellow cards to my players: Yes\No
Hand out red cards to my players: Yes\No
Godmod other events: Yes\No

Put either yes or no.
Godmodding is something absolutely unthinkable in usual circumstances - for example, like UFO over the stadium, which distracted the goalkeeper.

You also can add something to your yes/no, like "basically yes, but ...", "usually no, but...", if, for example, you can allow injuries, but want to determine lenght of time player is out. Usually if you find
other player permissions too restrictive, it was polite to sent him a message and ask if what you have in mind is possible.

And also you must publish permission box with following details:
My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my goalscorers: Yes\No
Godmod scoring events: Yes\No
RP injuries to my players: Yes\No.
Godmod injuries to my players: Yes\No
Hand out yellow cards to my players: Yes\No
Hand out red cards to my players: Yes\No
Godmod other events: Yes\No

After you made all this and save it, you must create another message and go to the most exciting part of every tournament:

Roleplaying:
Also known as RP. In almost all NSS tournaments RP is a very important element. Success of the team very much depends on the quality and quantity of RP - albeit even brilliant one don't guaranteed you a victory.

Most players prefer to make reports about past matches or preparations for new ones, but the possibility (especially when the results are not encouraging and you don’t feel like writing about it) is not ruled out to write about the beauties of your country, the events of its history, the adventures of fans, the relationship of their various groups with each other, how much your players earn or can hope to receive as a bonuses (maybe their award will be not send to do the hard labor in coalmines), or who from the country's leadership arrived at the tournament and how exactly, how you find host country, politics of your nation, etc. To facilitate your creativity, I will add some news and prompts by way. If you need any additional details about Trolleborg realities, let me know by message.

You can use spoilers. Spoiler is a text hidden from the users under some sort of signs. Like this
Many things, really!
To have such a thing, you must use command [ spoiler=name of what you hid] text you want to be hidden [ /spoiler], just remove blank spaces after ['s.

You can also add pictures or gifs. For graphical representation of lineups for matches, services like https://www.buildlineup.com/ and https://chosen11.com usually very helpful. But you must bother to put what you made on some file-share site.

As a passionate fan of graphics in NSSport I am encouraged you also use pictures and gifs. To help you I'm add following section.

Graphics
If you want to put a picture or a gif in the text, you need to place it on a file hosting service such as imgur, as I did. Take a time to go https://imgur.com/upload. On it, after uploading the file, it will be possible to get a link on your image - tap "..." at the right upper corner of the image, -> get share links -> copy "BBCode (Forums)" (this is third option in the list). After that you must put code you just copy between the commands [ img] and [ /img], just remove blank spaces after ['s.

By default, the picture is placed on the left, but if you need it in the center, you must put it between another set of commands: [ align= center] from one side, and [ /align] from other side. Just (again) remove blank spaces after ['s.

As a result you will have a thing like this [ align= center][ img]link%20on%20your%20file[ /img][ /align].
And it will be looked like
Image
.

To facilitate further integration into NSSports Community and make your visits here more memorable and fruitful here you find some explanations about things you can encounter on the Sports Forum:
IC - "In character" and OOC - "Out of character"
OOC is, basically, what you wanted to say as a NS user. If you wish to announce "I'm fell asleep, and will write who scored a goals tomorrow at the morning", this is clearly OOC. If you write "Our Football Association right now clarifies the names of the players who scored goals", this is the same thing IC. It will be good if you highlight your OOC considerations in italics, putting [ i] at the beginning of the phrase and [ /i] at the end or put all of it under spoiler (see above).

All OOC comments for hosts, like "when the next game will be played?" or "Can I begin riots at stadium?" you must address to me either by message or putting it into the thread where applications was made. This is also rule for the other tournaments in NSS.

UR - UnRanked Team. Teams in tournaments such as the Football World Cup, Hockey World Cup, Basketball World Cup in NSS have rankings based on their performance in previous tournaments. Teams that are just starting their journey in world sports have Unranked status. In this tournament, we are all in this status, but for the needs of integration into the sports community of the NSS, you need to know and understand this term as well.

1vs3, 2vs4 in fixtures - this is the determinant of who plays with whom in this round. This will not happen in our tournament, as I made a full fixtures, but it was not always possible, so NSSports usually used short form. For integration into the community it is useful to know how it works. If the teams in the group list are arranged in the following order: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, then in this scenario, as above, there was Red vs Green, Blue vs Yellow in this round.

Cutoff - time when host begins to read and grade RP and goes to generate results. Usually all things published after the cutoff announcement is counted towards next game period.

I sincerely hope that you will enjoy NSSsports and that you will participate not only in this but also in other tournaments. The path to the top can be difficult and long, but do not be discouraged and do not quit playing after any failures. Good luck to you all!

So, welcome to Trolleborg!
Our country is located on a huge island about an hour's flight east of the main landmass of the South Pacific. You can get to it by plane and arrive directly at capital airport, the hub of all aviation in the country, and, let's say with pride, one of the main transport hubs of the world, from where you can get to more than one and a half hundred countries. You can use the services of our airline "Trolleborg Wings", with its very wide route network. You can read how her flights are organized for information (and use this in your RP): Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.

Trolleborg is an economically powerful and at the same time socially oriented state, occupying top or near-top of lines in the lists of countries that care about the environment, have the most beautiful nature, being the safest, with a friendly and highly cultured population, which is an important tourist destination (410th in the entire universe!).

AI is widely used in the economy, economy and social life, for the guests of the country the AI Keith system is of the greatest interest, which serves tourists, acting as their consultant on issues from how to get there to paying for all transactions in the currency familiar to the guests of the country. You can read more about Keith functions here, and how the visits of foreigners used to proceed, in a longread here.

Games of tournament will be held at the following stadiums of the indicated cities:
Trolleborg City:
Stadium of 1st December (capacity of 100,000), where usually big sporting events of the country taken place and Trolleborg national team played home games here

Finn Hurps (cap. 89,000)

Murnau City

Red Arena (cap. 69,000).

Wigelou
New stadium (cap. 65,000).

Stadiums on December 1, Victory Road and Murnau City Stadium are equipped with systems that maintain a constant temperature of +18 degrees at field level, completely excluding any precipitation and the slightest bit of strong wind. The weather in the remaining stadiums is determined by nature, and the relevant reports will be provided to the participants of the tournament. All stadiums are equipped with the VAR system.

Trolleborg TV will try to broadcast some of the most memorable moments in 3D.

The cities in which the matches of the tournament will be held are located a maximum of one and a half hours from each other by high-speed train or forty minutes by plane, so guests of the country do not need to consult maps or choose places somewhere closer to places where their team will play. The country can provide any form of accommodation, from primeval caves to five-star hotels (let me know if you need detailed info about that).

I must warn you that since medicine and law enforcement in Trolleborg are at the highest level, so you can't introduce epidemics and viruses, and can't incite riots and unrest (without my agreement). If you need more information, you can always send me a message.

Let's play football and we are make everything possible to make your visit enjoyable and unforgettable!

Football In New Bulacan

The New Bulacan National Football Team is a nation's national football team.

The team is under the New Bulacan National Football Association which governs football in New Bulacan, and New Bulacan also hosts the country's most popular football leagues, The New Bulacan National Premier League, with many successful clubs taking part in the league.

The country is also home to the national version of the World Cup, The New Bulacan National Cup, which happens every 2 years, and many teams nationwide are taking part in the event. Other teams from other countries are allowed to participate but as guest teams.

The Democratic Republic of New Bulacan is also home to many modern, unique, and beautiful football stadiums.

The New Malolos Capitol Football Stadium is located in nation's capital city and one of the largest in the country, with a capacity of 75,000. It is also home to the nation's national football team.

Image

The Fans of New Bulacan's National Football Team are supportive and respectful and they are notable for cleaning not just the stadiums themselves but also the area near or around the venue.

The New Bulacanian National Football Team is a young national football team so this is their first time playing and participating. And because of the team being new, the team has never won a major trophy, yet.

As the younger brother of soccer player Sam Obisanya, Jonathan had learned from his brother's uprising a lot of the advanced tactics of football, which helped him rise through the ranks to play for his national team.
ST Luis Burns
Being from the inner-city slums, Luis did not have much to work with. However, his passion to play football led him to practice and play every day, helping him become a rising star in football.
CAM Adrian Bush
Living next to Brigantine Park, (the stadium where Dhemixia's national teams play, and often referred to as "The Brig" by locals and fans) the soccer culture in the suburbs around it helped Adrian flourish in the competition, and helped him develop into the star he is known as today.
CAM Lewis Sims
Lewis grew up in an industrial part of the inner-city, leaving an environment of run-down factories and ruin. Lewis adapted to these surroundings and thrived in them, playing football in abandoned steel mills, manufacturing plants, and anything in-between. This experience and strife helped him develop into an amazing football player.
LM Gregory Baker
Baker grew up running track, and only that. The reason why he ran track? He was fast. One day his coach suggested he play football, seeing that he was athletic, and it was a match made in heaven. Baker went on to excel at the highest level in football and was selected to the national team.
LM Dustin Alford
Growing up from rural Dhemixia, Dustin did not have access to good equipment, but that didn't stop him. Through a handcrafted goal and a homemade ball, he trained every day, striving to get better, until it paid off, and he was chosen for the national team.
RM Mario Hutchinson
Also growing up near The Brig, the soccer culture and competition helped Mario develop into a generational talent, becoming somewhat of a local legend in college soccer. This earned him a spot on the national team roster.
RM Blake Warren
After being a redshirt in college for his freshman and sophomore year, Warren stepped up his game in his junior year, breaking the school record for assists. The reputation he had grown propelled him to be selected for the national team.
CM Timothy Hawkins
Hawkins went to college and was amazing at soccer. He had played on the same team as Grant Clarke, and Dominic Sanford, and they blazed the rest of college soccer. This led to all three being named for the national team.
CM Grant Clarke
Clarke, Hawkins, and Sanford went to the same college, and made each other exponentially better. They let up the least amount of goals in college soccer for all four college years, and thus, Clarke was penciled in along with Hawkins and Sanford on the national team.
CM Eric Workman
as one of the best midfielders in college soccer, Workman excelled at 1v1's, but he could never seem to win a championship. Whenever he was so close to winning it, something inexplicable would happen to him. But finally, in his senior year of college, he got it done, and won a championship. His talent was noticed by many more because he finally won it, and was named to the national team.
CB Dominic Sanford
being the third part of the hottest trio in college soccer, Sanford stood out at defending, and won an absurd 90% of the 1v1's he was in. He, Clarke, and Hawkins had won the National Championship in college soccer 3 out of the 4 years of his college career. Winning three championships had catapulted him to being signed to the national team, along with Hawkins and Clarke.
CB Rick Wilson
being a part of the next big duo in college soccer after the Sanford, Hawkins, and Clarke trio, Rick Wilson, along with Drew McMahon, were two of the most anticipated recruits in college soccer. In their first season, they went undefeated, won their conference, and won the national championship, while setting the college record for goal differential. The duo ended up graduating college with two national championships to their name, losing the other two they played in on PKs. Seeing their amazing potential, they graduated college and were welcomed as the newest additions to the Dhemixian starting XI.
CB Drew McMahon
being the other member in the hottest college defender group to this day, McMahon and Wilson had unbelievable talent. In their senior season, after losing two straight heartbreakers of national championships, they barely slid into the postseason in their senior year after winning their conference on PKs. They somehow found their way back to the final, aiming to redeem their past failures. In extra time, McMahon took a free kick from 10 yards out from the 18', and hammered it into the back of the net. This goal ended up winning them the championship, and boosted him, and Wilson to be selected for the national team out of college.
CB Carlos Peters
After years of being told he wasn't good enough, on club, high school, and college teams, Carlos Peters has reached the mountain top. He was benched in high school for his Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years, after he consistently missed practice because of things that happened at home. He only got to play in his Senior year, which led to him being recruited by little to nobody. One school picked him up and redshirted him for his first 2 years of college after an altercation that happened on campus. He excelled in his last two years, being on a team that won the National Championship on PKs. Because of his performance on his college team, Peters was added to the roster right out of college.
CB Bobby Dewitt
Being yet another player from the area around The Brig, the competition around colleges in that area was tense. Bobby developed a lot from the fierce competition, and that led to him having a great college career. His talent was noticed as he was leaving college and was added to the roster.
GK Wesley Williamson
Going to the same college as his backup, Colin Atkins, there was a fierce competition for the starting job. The two exchanged starts throughout the season and a starter was decided by the least GA (goals allowed). Williamson ended up having the least goals allowed and got the starting job for the playoffs and beyond. Seeing this, the two were penciled in to the national team right out of college.
GK Colin Atkins
being the loser of the goalie war, he was the backup on his college team, but that didnt stop him from having potential and having talent. He and Williamson both were selected for the Dhemixian roster, solely because of their performance in college.

Football in Dantopia:

Football is the most popular sport in Dantopia, and clubs in the country number in the tens of thousands, organised into hundreds of leagues. The Dantopian Football Association (FA) governs football in Dantopia, and Dantopia also hosts one of the South Pacific’s most popular and richest footballing leagues, the Dantopian Premier League (DPL), with a number of hugely rich and successful clubs taking part in the league.

Image
Fans of the Dantopian national team are fiercely supportive, but also extremely respectful, noted for helping clean up stadiums after the end of football games. It is expected this behaviour will continue whilst in Trolleborg. At home, clubs with intense rivalries contest derbies in which fan behaviour can sometimes unfortunately resort to a modest level of violence and crime. However, these derby rivalries rarely ever result in widespread or serious incidents.

Dantopia is home to many state of the art football stadiums, with the national team’s home stadium – The Lion City Arena – located in the nation’s capital, being the largest, with a capacity of 80,000. The stadium was recently renovated to increase the capacity from its original 60,000. The Lion City Arena also acts as a neutral venue for cup finals in Dantopia.

The Dantopian national team have typically always disappointed at major tournaments, having never won a major trophy. However, they have routinely reached the latter stages of tournaments before being defeated. The current crop of players for the national team are perhaps the most talented the nation has ever assembled, and there are high hopes the squad can perform well at this year’s tournament.

Head Coach
Harold Northgate (Dantopian National Team, Dantopia)

Profile: 52y.o, 6'0'' (183cm)

Description: A Former Dantopian National Team Player, Northgate was a Centre Back by trade. Having held a number of managerial positions at smaller top tier clubs, Northgate took on the head coaching role of the under-21 National Team for a spell before being promoted to the First Team. Much maligned by the Dantopian press for his seeming lack of tactical nous in big games, Northgate is perhaps actually unfairly characterised by this, and has shown some tactical flexibility at times. He has also almost single-handedly made the waistcoat fashionable again. Most importantly however has been Northgate's ability to bring a united mindset to the Dantopian dressing room. The players clearly respect him and enjoy playing for him, and he has brought the best out of players like Jeffrey Danchevy, Gary McGoldrick and Lewis Shank.

Preferred Formations:
4-3-3 (single holding midfielder, inverted fullbacks, wide forwards)
3-5-2 (wing backs, single holding midfielder, one wide forward and one target man)
4-2-3-1 (double pivot in midfield, free roaming number 10, wide fullbacks, inverted wingers)

Team Tactics:
Style Mod: +2.5

Style of Play:
Possession Based (the team normally average around 60%, or higher against weaker teams)

Inverted Full Backs (pack the midfield with passing options, keep the inside forwards wider, stretching the opponent's defence)

Set Piece Specialists (Excellent at set pieces all around, with strong headers of the ball, intricate corner and indirect free kick plays, and a number of players who can score easily from direct free kicks and penalties)

Sweeper Keeper (Goalkeeper comfortable in possession, acts as an auxiliary centre back when the team is in possession of the ball, and rushes off his line when appropriate to meet balls over the top or crosses into the box)

High Defensive Line (As a result of a possession based style and sweeper keeper, the defensive line is relatively high, squeezing opposition forwards of space between the defence and midfield)

Low Crosses and Cut Backs (chance creation is mostly created by the full backs and wingers who attempt driven crosses or cut backs for players inside - or making late runs into - the box)

Lobbed Through Balls (when playing on the counter attack, the team will often attempt lobbed through balls to the forwards who generally have the pace to beat the opposition defenders)

NOMAYUKIAN FOOTBALL TEAM

KITS

Home Kit:
Orange Top with white stripes and bordered white numbers (orange border)
White Bottom

Away Kit:
White Top with orange stripes and bordered orange numbers (white border)
Orange Bottom

Style Modifier: +1
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Tactics: Unpredictability, passes can be short or long and high or low.

PLAYERS

Starters:

Edwin Diaz - Goalkeeper

Edwin Diaz is an on-leave Zablakan Benders player who was chosen to become a team goalkeeper after his excellent performance in the 2022 National Football Tournament. He has a military background and feels no pain because of Pain Endurance Training—there was an instance where he was shot but didn't feel any pain at all. His reflexes are top-notch, also because of military training, and is also swift. This means that he is ruthlessly efficient and fast as a goalkeeper and can catch a ball that is 3 meters away from him in 0.7 seconds.

Tommy Sterling - Fullback (Left side)

Tommy Sterling, sometimes known as Thomas Sterling although it's not his real name, is a left-side Fullback of the National Football team. He was never in professional football but had a military background. His football training lets him have top-notch ball control and great passing abilities. He also has top-notch reflexes and speed which allows him to defend efficiently and either attack or pass a ball to a teammate. He's unpredictable to his competition, but his teammates know the possibilities and odds of him moving anywhere and can predict his movements. This allows for great coordination with his teammates.

Minosuke Kobayashi - Fullback (Right side)

Minosuke Kobayashi is a right-side Fullback of the National Football team. Just like Sterling, he was never in professional football but had a military background as well. He trained to be a football player in High School, College, during his free time, and after he retired from the military. His football training lets him have top-notch ball control and great passing abilities. Also like Sterling, he has top-notch reflexes and speed which allows him to defend efficiently and either attack or passes a ball to a teammate, but unlike Sterling, who is a 50/50 in the following case, he's more likely to attack and attack HARD. He moves like Sterling, which allows both fullbacks to be unpredictable, but his teammates can predict his movements. This allows for great coordination with his teammates.

Michi Yamamura - Centreback (left-side)

Michi Yamamura is an on-leave Jachi Hikers Centreback and is in the National Football team. He had professional football training but no military background. But his training makes up for it, as his trainer is a retired Drill Sergeant. His training allowed him to reach the proper qualities of a centreback. His tackles are efficient, and his tactic is to tackle opponent players and kick with enough speed and force. After he tackles, he quickly gets up, runs at the ball, and either attacks or passes it. Just like Sterling, this would be a 50/50. He can also jump high and kick airborne balls back in the enemy direction. When needed, he is also a ruthless defender and can easily intercept a ball and pass it to either of the fullbacks.

Reon Saku - Centreback (right-side)

Reon Saku is an on-leave Eirenburg Waffles Centreback and is in the National Football team. He has similar qualities to Yamamura as a centreback and the two of them work together as centrebacks. But the two of them sometimes struggle in working together, as the Eirenburg Waffles and the Jachi Hikers are known rivals within the football teams within Nomayuki. They are used to playing against each other and need training sessions to coordinate with each other as a team.

Harry Savenko - Defensive Midfielder (left-side)

Harry Savenko is a Defensive Midfielder on the National Football team. He is a relatively new person to football but is also a quick learner, as he received training from his right-side counterpart. His skills have allowed him to become a Defensive Midfielder in the National Football team, and he follows his counterpart's instructions and replicates the latter's strategies. When the team's goal is attacked, he usually goes in front as the first line of defence and his counterpart behind. His tactic is to kick the ball and pass it either to the Attacking Midfielder, either of the Side Midfielders or to the Centre Forward.

Suekichi Shimodaira - Defensive Midfielder (right-side)

Suekichi Shimodaira is a Defensive Midfielder on the National Football team. He is Harry Savenko's football trainer/mentor and right-side counterpart. He has no professional football or military experience, but he trained himself to become a "battle-hardened" and experienced football player. His defensive abilities are top-notch and can easily head to a ball and kick it back in the enemy direction or pass it either to the Attacking Midfielder, the Side Midfielders, or the Centre Forward. He is also known for his unpredictability, but he taught Savenko his movements. The both of them work together as one of the most unpredictable Defensive Midfielders the world has ever seen.

Candon Sokullu - Attacking Midfielder

Candon Sokullu is an Attacking Midfielder on the National Football team. He had a 7-year-long football experience with the Eirenburg Waffles, but he decided to retire from that team and join the National Football team. He is known for his coordination with the Centre Forward and the Side Midfielders. Sometimes, he likes to kick the ball up with a trajectory to just behind the opponent's goalkeeper. Because of this, he was given the nickname "Sir Overkick" which is being used among the Eirenburg Waffles, the National Football team, and by his fans.

Seiji Fujiwara - Side Midfielder (left-side)

Seiji Fujiwara is a former professional cyclist who uses his leg strength from pedalling in the National Football team and is a left-side Side Midfielder. His training allows him to have awesome reflexes and to be a ruthlessly efficient secondary when scoring goals. He is known for his speed on the field and his passing skills. However, even if he is known for all of the assists he has made, he is also good at kicking goals. Sometimes, when the Centre Forward gives him a very discreet signal, the Centre Forward will kick the ball to Fujiwara to pass it and then the latter will go and score a goal for the team. It's unpredictable when this signal is made, but Fujiwara always keeps his guard up for it.

Akira Nakano - Side Midfielder (right-side)

Akira Nakano is a right-side Side Midfielder who is known for his deception and distraction tactics. He has a military background and used to be in the Ground Force Special Forces. He uses the stealth tactics he got from training to ambush and tackle opponent players without the latter knowing. He is also known for his deception skills, known for the times that he pretended that the ball was on him to distract opponents from the Centre Forward, who was actually the one with the ball. Doing this, he lets the Centre Forward score an underdefended goal. But sometimes, just like Fujiwara, he also scores goals. Using a different and even more discreet signal from the Centre Forward, he keeps the ball on him, unpredictably kicks the ball at the goal, and scores.

Roger Zheng - Centre Forward

Roger Zheng is the team captain and Centre Forward of the National Football team. A former kickboxer with a military background, he uses his strength to run to a ball, kick it, and score a goal. His reflexes are top-notch and he has the ability to confuse the opponent's goalkeeper. He and his entire team know the discreet and different signals and their variations, and he uses these signals to confuse his opponents as much as possible. He is the one who scores the most goals, and he is also the one who keeps the team in check.

Alternate Players:

The alternate players have been trained to be exactly like their starter counterparts by the coach.

Bruno Großkreutz - GK
Tederich Scholz - L-FB
Wolfram Röpke - R-FB
Amando Trevisani - L-CB
Luciano Venturi - R-CB
Hyunki Matsuyama - L-DM
Floyd Cook - R-DM
Silvestre Amparan - AM
Ferrand Bouchard - L-SM
Tekin Özdemir - R-SM
Njowga Gbadamosi - CF

Coach: Gennaro Bellini
A Nomayukian coach of Italian descent with a professional football background, he is known for his unconventional, unpredictable, but efficient strategies for a 4-2-3-1 formation. He has been the coach for 4 years now, but this isn't his first time being the coach of a team. He used to be a coach of a High School team, eventually made it to the National Football Association and joined a team as a player, eventually became their coach, and then was chosen to be the coach of the national football team.

Greetings, compatriots!
Today our country open (probably) important chapter of history. At the tenth year of participation in the international sport Trolleborg will host international tournament full-time.

I must say for our entire editorial staff that we are worried about how everything will go perhaps only slightly less than before the first ever games of our teams. As you remember, first steps was very encouraging: in the Youth Championship our team defeated Lochario 5-1, and the national team defeated Casta Marina 6-1 in their debut match of Baptism of Fire tournament, but performances in hockey and basketball can hardly be called successful.

Previously, only individual matches in various tournaments were trusted to our country, but today we are hosting a full-fledged tournament and doing it solo. The heavy responsibility this puts on all of us, since almost all of its participants are new to international sports, and we are required to show maximum tact, patience and kindness to make the South Pacific Cup a memorable tournament in a good way. The 33 teams that have applied for participation in the tournament will start today, and although the number of fans who have arrived from abroad is not as large as one might expect, almost all tickets for the matches have been sold out, since everyone knows how our citizens love football, especially international. As we all remember, the recent debut of our teams in club competitions around the world caused an unprecedented unity of the ranks, fans of even old rivals supported each other shoulder to shoulder. And at the Independent Associations Cup, some of the games of which were held in our country, each team, even if it did not play brilliantly, but badly needed moral support, could count on the sympathy of fans from our country. And we must spare no effort to lend moral support for those teams for whom the tournament does not go well.

Right now we have also a vested interest: immediately after the opening ceremony, our team will play in the opening match of the tournament, and it will have to cross swords with Dantopia, a rival that all experts, after looking at the training process and physical form of the players, ranked as serious. Although our players have huge international experience on their side, and the giant bowl of the 1st December Stadium is almost completely filled with fans from Trolleborg, it is unlikely that the guests will agree to give up points without a fight. But this makes this game much more interesting to watch.

So, the tournament will start in a matter of hours. Almost all countries have not participated in competitions at the international level before, but we hope that their representatives will show beautiful and fair football. Competition formula was created to stimulate just that. The opportunity while having suffered a defeat not to immediately lose the chances for the playoffs, allows teams to show their best qualities, without need to play strictly for the result. As you know, options were discussed to create eight groups of four teams, eight groups of four teams with a two-round tournament, like we had at the debut BoF, but in the end, the choice was made by the organizers in favor of the long-distance group stage. So it will stretch for all groups, except for ours, for seven games, for ours for eight, and although advancement to the next round is forbidden for Trolleborg team, in general, there is a positive things in this: the more interesting it will be to watch the playoffs without weighing the chances, just impartially admiring the beauty of football. The football holiday, we repeat again, will begin in a few hours, we wish the participants interesting games, brilliant combinations, beautiful goals!

TROLLEBORG NATIONAL TEAM

Nickname: Trolls
Team usually playing in green, sometimes in red, but white and blue versions are used last time many years ago.

NATIONAL TEAM

Team enters now its tenth year in the international football. It was not, clear, how things will be in the few next years. Trolleborg national team have 187 victories, 56 draws and 97 loses to her name.

COACH

61-years old Morten Troghil is a manager of the team since its creation. He made himself name in the local league, was voted by the people of Trolleborg to lead national team, and coached it ever since, having three international titles to his name, four times played in the finals of major international tournaments and succeed to bring our team at the World Cup thrice. Recently he make a noises about retirement, and it was discussed, are it is worthy idea to give reigns to someone else for the duration of this tournament, but at the end things was as they were.

PLAYERS

Morten Troghil introduce some players to the international football at this tournament, so, most probably, team will be slightly disbalanced.

GOALKEEPERS

Morten Kerr (28). Younger brother of now retired from international football iconic forward Stuart Kerr, he played as number one in the first ever international tournaments in the Trolleborg history, U18 Cup in S&T, known as very skilful and intelligent player, and make some very spectacular performances in the last WCQ. He confidently moved into the place between post in the national team, by virtue of his reflexes and braveness he have a recognition from the fans, but his performance is not completely in line with tasks. Altought some not-too-spectacular performances in the WC-92 move him back on the bench, he regain post number one at the IAC. Team lost only one time and concede only two goals at the whole tournament.
Jesper Krogh (28 years). Very fast player who already prove himself on both league and international level, who prove himself good at the second floor, without losing something in his first floor game skills. But he did’t succeed in filling shoes of great Kot Kotsson and right now relegated to the second goalkeeper spot.
Torben Fingall (24). Prove himself efficient and reliable, he has a great talant of well-positioning himself, and extremely fast in addition. But right now he is understudy for both other goalkeepers. Due to the Eagle Cup being high-voltage tournament, Morten Troghil probably not give him chance to play.

DEFENDERS

Jooris Hesp (26). Faster than he looks, he is excellent in the air and he is also good marker, and many players in the games on international club level find it very difficult to get past him.
Loderick Fingall (28). Recent addition to the team, this right back\right winger\right midfielder cover a lot of ground in his area of responsibility, move swift and decisively, and his ball-winning talents are remarkable.
William Schendel (28). Versatile fast moving defender known for his skillful positioning and man-marking, highly effective in breaking opposition attacks, great in the heading, with incredible high crosses-interception rate.
Brutil Liis (26). International club tournaments give our team another new man: very complete defender – quick, disciplined and decisive, great in one-to-one duels and reading game good, he is also thoughful passer.
Aien Troger (34). This strongly build defender have a lot of experience and extremely good in tackling, it’s very challenging to move into the box past him and he made life extremely difficult for the many famed forwards on the international scene. Apart from Wolters he is only defender who goes all the way from the first games of the national team. But right now he will probably sit on the bench, bar any catastrophe.
Joran Du Riis (32). Cold-blooded fighter prove that he more than capable holding his own at the highest level. Agile and fast-moving, but solidly builded and used this for his advantage, he play with composure and responsibility, so his place in the lineup is assured.
Joos Haankrands (27). Left defender, agile and fast, he has many things to be the first-rate star on his position in the years to come. He try his best, but with rather mediocre results.
Thomas Heg (25). This versatile defender can play as both central or left defender, but he best suited as a former. His movements are sure and quick, he is masterful when intercepting ball and excellent in the air.

MIDFIELDERS

Anselm Kollimor (27). Attack-minded right-side midfielder. His runs into the box of rival teams is always dangerous. But he will have a tough fight for the spot at the team lineup, since he has to fight for a spot with Jesper Gronholm.
Jesper Wolters (26). Quick, skillful and creative, this midfielder covers a lot of ground, taking part in defensive work (which was infrequent trait Trolleborg flank midfielders) and joining attacks willingly.
Torben Scantorp (26). Another addition to the team, this defensive midfielder ball-winning talents are remarkable. He has a talent of reading game (and some also joking, that also reading thoughts), and is untiring worker, capable to bring ball forward fast and precise. Usually Trolleborg team don’t used defensive midfielders, and almost never two at once, so many call Morten Troghil decision to have two DM’s at the squad strange, but situation at the Eagle Cup is different from usual, so, probably, he will have a time on the field.
Argail Sheridan (25). His technical resourses made him very useful player in the midfield line. He is fantastic dribbler, and used to make very good passes over 20-30 meters, but only with his right leg, and this impaired his usefulness greatly.
Brutil Skrta (27). Very complete player, who posessed ability, stamina, flair, technique and resoluteness in just perfect mix. Shows tremendous accuracy when passing, fine distant shooting skills, he moved very fast and prove his talents brilliantly in the last few tournaments.
Kenneth Pathmoor (29). This central midfielder can cover a lot of space in the middle of the field and with his pace, agility and an eye for goal he willingly can find net himself or conjure goal opportunity for his forwards.
Morten Troll (34). Genius of game, with a wonderful dribbling, beautiful technique, excellent pass and extremely good shot, he won many games for his local team single-handedly, but also a great team player with great repertoire of tricks. He was justifiable praised as one of the main creators of the all Trolleborg football successes. In the SPC he, most probably, will play from time to time.
Torben Pangborn (27) Skilful left midfielder, whose great speed allows him to outpace opponents and break through rival defences. His talents allow him to make a lot of scoring chances for the team, and due to his speed he is very useful in the counter-attacks.
Karsten Palmor (27). Another new face in the team, earned spot in the lineup as a result of performance in the international club tournament. With the ball under control this midfielder is a man which hard to stop. His physical condition is usually exceptional. Likes to rush to the line and cross to the box

FORWARDS

Torben Kranforde (27). Very fast forward, who have special ability to surprise rival defenders. He also posessed a great skill of positioning himself very well, and regularly sent many defenders and goalkeepers into despair with his precise and deadly shots from both feet. He prove himself prolific scorer at all recent tournaments team taking part of.
Torstein Troghils (28). He stands out for his powerful header, helped by great jump and precious skill of placing himself well, and he also shoots well from both feets. In addition to other talents, this player can be labeled as specialist in controlling ball in difficult positions.
Gerard Reuzer (27). This tall and sturdy forward being called up to the national team first time, and many look at him with hope. With addition to the good dribbling skills he controls ball well and can shot from either feet or holding ball up until his teammated arrived. He also can contribute to the team efforts by his good headers and do this not once in the recent games.
Kendall Kerl (27). This power forward proved himself very effective (if judged by recent international club tournaments) in front of goals. Physically strong, so he don’t have need to shies away from collusions, but usually he prefer to concentrate on his prime functions, and he also blessed by great technoque, so scores a lot of goals from just one touch.

TEAM TACTICS AND GAME STYLE

With Morten Troghil at the helm team always practiced attractive attacking game on a fast pace, with a varied passing and good teamwork. Usually played 4-4-2 with defenders pressed forward and flank midfielders join attacks whatever possible, or 3-5-2 with a midfielders move back and forth as things dictated. Integral and inalienable part of the team’s game will be mighty pressing, applied whatever on the field when ball is not on our side.

National psyche tell players to put everything even if odds are heavily against, so almost every match in the league played with high determination, and national team shirt oblige one who wore it for even more efforts – altought it was visible, that players often compeletely lose breath when unexpected setbacks occur. And this is precisely what happened in the WCQ-92.

Unsportsmanlike behavior is highly discouraged even if in the interests of the cause, and national team players are required to meet the highest standards possible, so it is completely impossible to imagine a player of the Trolleborg national team faking injury or begging for a penalty. It is expected that players who have a choice to fall and appeal for penalty and try to continue game choce latter without a doubts. But players are not easily bullied, though, and more than able to stand up for themselves both as individuals and as a team, and have a strong inclination to go tit-for-tat in case of excessive brutality on the opponent’s part.

Style –5.

No, there was no confusion, team played attacking football on the field, while having negative style modifier for a scorinating purposes.

Apologies for the lack of graphics. BBCode is a sore subject for me. I hope plaintext will do.

Football in Millenhaal has only begun recently, around 50 years ago, becoming popularized through merchandising agencies seeking to expand markets into the area. Stadiums were quickly erected after this, and have ever since been in use. Millenhaal has never competed internationally before, however, and has put together a team of all-stars from the national leagues to front the nation's best players.

THE MILLENHAALS NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM

Starters:
Goalkeeper: Maertijn Ardphol: 34 year old former gas station attendant who was scouted at the community college he was attending at 32.
Left-back: Njels Kierksvarb: 29 year old brother of current overseer Geraldine O'Leary. Nepotism may or may not be involved, but he is a decent player nevertheless.
Center-back: Dirk Stryedier: 19 year old weeaboo/webcomic enthusiast notorious for wearing a Naruto headband to the national finals last year.
Center-back: Milo Rutger: 15 year old star player drafted straight out of middle school.
Right-back: Noel senJourn: 28 year old team captain whose sexuality has been the topic of many debates over the years.
Center defensive midfield: Laurenzy Akkersdijk: 31 year old rich person who's soccer training was paid for with his father's hedge fund money. Only plays for fun.
Left-midfield: Diarmait FitzGaillard: 25 year old immigrant, known for being the first non-Millenhaaler to play for the national team.
Right-midfield: Samson Guldrik: 20 year old vice captain of no particular note. It isn't know why he's even vice captain.
Center attacking midfield: Kristap Molkburn: 22 year old former basketball player who switched 3 years ago, and has since become quite good.
Striker: Alwen Jaener: 35 year old with 5 children that he manages to balance along with his soccer career.
Striker: Gillheim Ghutte: 26 year old player who has been known to play piccolo with the marching band at his games.

P.S.
Name explanations
OOC: Svъéni has it's own unique language that I constructed and with the language come original names, the meanings of the names of the players and coaches explained below. Some of these explanations will say "Svъéni form of the name ____", that's because Svъéni was originally created for a different world with other languages related to it and these names are from these languages (like how the name John is of Greek original etc.)

Greetings, it’s TTV from the opening ceremony of the South Pacific Cup!
Welcome to the Trolleborg!

Our country welcomes the first international tournament and a decade of participation in international sports with large-scale fireworks, not only in the capital, but also in other cities where the games are held. Art of fireworks in Trolleborg was very old and much respected, and right now was on display.
