What are your major airlines and what do they fly?

Hello, Pugeullaendeu here.

Recently, I stumbled upon some papercraft airliner templates. I did extensive research, and I decided that I would make a papercraft model of Pugeullaendeu's biggest airport: Heilegimopes International Airport (PUGZ). It also holds Europeia's records for the longest runway and second-largest airport.

And I found some blank Airbus A320 templates.
I was wanting to decorate the aircraft with airlines from around Europeia and around the Nationstates world!
So, what are some of your major airlines and what do their logos look like?

So our flag carrier is Vertillian Airlines, but we also have other major airlines like Eirod Air and Veloster Airlines (named after the velosterhawk on our flag)

We also have the following low-cost carriers:
Suroest Airlines (operates only 737s)
Espirito Airlines (operates only A320s)
Terbolyn (operates only A220s and A320s)

And probably a few others I can add here.
Nation’s views are NOT representative of my political views IRL, although some views may or may not match. Will NOT disclose which views specifically.

NS stats (civil rights/economy/political freedoms) mostly NOT canon. There are some civil rights and liberties and political freedoms in Vertillia but the government is mostly authoritarian, especially when it comes to immigration, climate change, crime, and punishment.

Our main airline, Velvet Airlines, mainly uses Airbus A220s and A320s, however they do also have domestically made Flyte SSAXs as well, which are similar to a Concorde.

It will operate 10 aircraft that are basically modernized, functional versions of the "Spruce Goose."

Foreign travel to and from the Holy Catholic State is illegal without government authorization (such as for diplomatic delegations, state visits, pilgrimages, etc.), and commercial airplanes are banned for environmental reasons. So no passenger airlines are allowed to fly within the nation. Only the Church and the government may use aircraft—same for automobiles.

There are two main forms of long-distance aerial travel in the Vermillion Republic - conventional planes and airships (zeppelins as well as literal flying ships kept airborne by a mixture of technology and magic).

Before the Marksist revolution, both were provided by a large number of competing private companies with little government airsight. After the revolution however, all airlines were nationalized and separated into two government-owned, worker-controlled enterprises: Vermillion Airlines (airplanes) and Vermillion Airship Passenger Service or VAPS (airships).

Vermillion Airlines operates a fairly small fleet for a country of this size and wealth, as a lot of demand for aerial transit is served by airships instead, as well as naturally flying beings such as pegasi, griffons or hippogriffs (for small short-range cargo deliveries, at least). Conventional airliners are mostly used for international travel or quick emergency flights. Most airliners are leased and/or purchased from countries like Crystal Spires or Malgrave, with certain internal adjustments to make operating and flying them more comfortable for quadruped species. An example of a Malgrave-built hypersonic airliner operated by Vermillion Airlines.

VAPS is a much larger operation in comparison, flying several thousand passenger airships ranging from tiny bus-sized ones for quick intercity commutes, to enormous global flights. Most civilian airships belong to one of the several broad categories:

  • Common airships are used to transport passengers and cargo on international and inter-regional distances. They range in size from 100 to over 300 meters. They tend to have regular amenities, comparable to modern trains with sleeping cars; many will also have lounge and dining compartments, etc.
  • There is also a type of airship which is used for very cheap flights. It's often a small cargo ship that has been converted to passenger ship by installing seats. They usually have few if any amenities and are quite cramped, but are capable of carrying hundreds or even thousands of passengers and are quite popular with the working class for the cheapness of tickets. One of the affectionate nicknames the populace has for these vessels is "flying coffin". The new socialist government has been trying to modernize and standardize such ships while retiring particularly old and unsafe ones but keeping the popular mode of travel overall
  • Cruise airships are used for pleasure rides, usually circulating between two or more flying cloud cities or mountain resorts, and allowing the passengers to enjoy the sights of the sky, aerial views, various airborne fauna etc, while having extensive amenities and spaces for entertainment and socializing. Cruise airships used to be mostly seen as a "rich thing" or something for the middle class to save for, but the new socialist government has been trying to popularize such cruises with the working class. Now some workers' councils provide cruise tickets as a compensation for workers that exceed quotas or as a vacation option, etc.

We currently have 250+ airplanes but the 3 major ones are

- Frazir 365 | carries 150 people at a time. Ticket for 1 person is 48.67 Deli golds.

- Tompuriz 30 | carries 230 people at a time. Ticket for 1 person is 80.32 Deli Golds.

- Wariz and Waruz | carries 500 people at a time. Ticket for 1 person is 120 Deli Golds.

We do have a large selection of airlines in Cascadia, with over 35 registered airlines in Cascadia. 7 of them make up 70% of the Cascadian Aviation Market Share. Each listed is a small description of each airline.

Air Cascadia - Largest Airline, operating in 7 cities and 6 focus cities, with nearly 750 aircraft, all either Boeing or Airbus Aircraft.

Alaska Airlines - Second Largest Airline, with operations and hubs in Cascadia and the US, Operating Mostly Boeing 737s.

Cascadian Airlines - Third Largest Airline, with 4 hubs, two focus cities, and 305 Aircraft, either a Boeing Narrow-body Aircraft or an Airbus Wide-body Aircraft flying you to 167 destinations.

NEO Airways - Fourth Largest Airline, and relatively new to the Industry, being the largest low-cost airline in Cascadia. 155 Aircraft, either Made by Embraer or Airbus, with service to 244 Destinations from many focus cities.

RUA Cascadian Airways - Fifth Largest Airline in Cascadia, and one of the oldest airlines in the world, being founded in June of 1923. with 7 hubs, and almost all Boeing Fleet of 187 servicing 103 destinations.

East Pacific Airlines - Sixth Largest Airline, an Long range low-cost airline. Also flying from focus cities with Many Airbus A320neos, A330neos, and 787s to 285 Destinations.

Bigfoot Airways Seventh Largest Airline, and relatively small. Operating from 2 hubs and focusing on domestic tourism, 88 Aircraft, mostly turboprop with some Embraer and A220 Aircraft servicing 199 Destinations.

The tiny island nation of Helisweerde only has one major airline:

Helisweerde Luchtvaart Compagnie (HLC) - Operates mostly A320's (although it also has a few other aircraft), the airline flies to a wide array of countries in Europe and occasionally makes the trek over to North America and the Middle East aswell. Some of it's focus cities include:

The main airline in the UCE is Estabanian International, and they fly Geography series jets, produced by the UCE's own Yute Industries.

Nord-European Air:
Airbus A320 and others, Boeing 727, 737 and 747, some passenger helicopters which are Airbus E67, E68 and E70 (I made this up), and others.

The flag carrier of Tangatarehua is "Tangatarehua Rererangi" and it primarily flies aircraft because previous attempts to fly buses, trucks and boats ended in disaster due to the weight and lack of aerodynamism of those vehicles.

The airline is officially classified as an Hinonga Emepaia ('Imperial Enterprise') by the Office of Trade and Industry as it is 51% owned by the government, with the remaining 49% of ownership coming from private investors.

Kamazuland Airways is the main air carrier of Kamazuland, operating mainly from Njinji International Airport and Mossenjo Airport. It flies to nations throughout Africa, mainly central and southern Africa, and also to Western Europe. Between 2008 and 2010, the aircraft was included under the ist of air carriers banned from operating in the European Union.
