Mind you I don’t think I’ve ever seen an author get a GA and SC proposal rubber stamped to vote at exactly the same time and then have both of them stomped.

Warms the cockles of your heart it does.

Honestly, I'm not surprised that this made it to a vote. Proposals like this make it to a vote every once in awhile, and it's our jobs to weed it out as voters. There wasn't much effort in this proposal, and the author didn't listen to an inhabitant of one of the regions in question. That spells a disaster.

So the Council is just stating the obvious now? Delightful.

No, the Council is rejecting stating the obvious or didn’t you check which way the vote’s going?

I think these most of these legislations on the Secutiry Council are useless.

Your law proposal suggest the creation of an (or multiple) entity/ies that resemble the disputed area of North Africa and the Middle East as described in George Orwell's novel called 1984.

Obviously, this is a geopolitical experiment that many other nations seem to oppose because it is not perfectly
clear to them, what such entity would function like.

For example it is stated that banning the entrance of a certain nation from a Warzone can never be permanent, yet no time limits are set.

I, as a libertarian, am for such experiement since they promote competition between neonascent geopolitical
entities, but I would very much appreciate there being a somewhat better description of these Warzones.

I’ll just leave this here for posterity.

"On the Warzones" was defeated 14,672 votes to 1,629.
