It is May 12,1996 AC. Nuryutian forces have crossed into the Protectorate of Nurstas, with a telegram sent to the capital of Vavlar, Vortyurnahl. For years, the Nuryutian government has pressured Aqur Tuyr Lurman Eroltia to let Nuryut annex Nurstas, and the colony of Nuryut has been rebellious for too long. Armed with a predicted 1,500 tanks, 350,000 troops, and 1,500 aircraft overall, the Vavlarian government has scrambled to mobilize it's army fully due to recent PAVLRT insurgencies, tied to a revival of D.E.N insurgents in Nurstas and insurgency of fundamentalists throughout the Vavlarian sphere of the 11th land. Meanwhile in Akazar, the Nuryutian government would receive a telegram from the Vavlarian government to step down or else. The retired Emperor Huril III would be sent as an emissary to Ivea, in a bid to start
Current time
It has been 3 months and thousands upon thousands have been slaughtered in brutal trench warfare. The coalition attempted to march into Nuryut, but was repelled multiple times. The population of Nuryut is always excited with massive patriotic-religious filled speeches, which is against governments of the coalition. So far a million have died to disease, war, or being killed. Entire towns have been leveled from bombing, and there is no end in sight. All communications between the outside world have been cut off and propaganda from the coalition is used as toilet paper or fuel for the displaced. Due to the likeliness of trench warfare, indiscriminate bombing attacks have been carried out by both sides. This has lead to disastrous loss of life, and locals near the fighting are starting to bitter up. The D.E.N has made massive expansion in territory, gaining 7% of Nurstas's territory in 2 months combined with coalition efforts. So far, only 0.1% of coalition reserves have been sent, with 950,000 troops having been sent. As winter rapidly approaches into the temperate climate as August turns to September, more troops have become sicklier from Flu and other diseases such as Dysentery due to less food and oil predicted to freeze during November. So far, the war is being won by the Nuryutian side.
