[Draft] Declaration on Suspicious Art Practices

Postby The Ferret Lands » Thu Dec 01, 2022 9:33 am

I was inspired by the current Declaration against Declarations to write this about the trading card seasons.
The Security Council,

RECALLING that on April 1, 2018, there was an enormous uptick in the amount of artworks published in all nations, not only World Assembly members.

NOTING that furthermore, on November 28, 2019, almost all artists across nations unexplainably switched to publishing their art in a different style than they all had been before.

RECOGNIZING that even further furthermore, on the recent date of November 12, 2022, all of the artists of all nations once again began making art in a new and unique style to any that they had all made before.

HEREBY declares this cannot be a coincidental occurrence as it has happened multiple times across all nations in the WA and not.

ENCOURAGES all member nations of the WA to investigate the artists of their nations to determine the cause of these disturbing and simultaneous shifts.

Not a bad concept, but definitely going to need more detail. Your first step should be chatting with some other members of the cards community who have been around for these events, can help you come up with some better language, etc. Good luck!

Unless you can put more details into this draft I see this as a pretty pointless Declaration. As far as I’m concerned, at the moment, this is just a record of when the card seasons started - something that is better noted in the site news.
