To avoid complications, he is honourably discharged from the Army Reserve.

IC: The vast majority are accepted, Vizier Khan agrees to stand trial for war crimes in Norway if the Bakivish forces stop occupying Oman.

At the end of the war, Bakivaland kept a small piece of land in Sweden now known as the Free Kalmar Republic.

IC: Following sworn testimony and declassified documents that suicide-watch guidelines were not adhered to, Khan’s conviction is vacated.
He is re-appointed as Minister of Defence soon to include responsibility for policing in addition to warfare (once all forces are amalgamated into a gendarmerie).

Hearing news of Vizier Khan's wedding, President Manchester would congratulate the Vizier and their fiancé. Later, Manchester would open his mailbox and see a letter from the Caliphate. A bit befuddled, as he's never gotten mail from the Caliphate, he would open the envelope and read the sheet of paper inside.

Reading the paper, the President was invited to Khan's wedding! He is now preparing a gift and clothing to go.
