OCC, presentation of the idea

I warmly greet all those who are reading the introduction to this so far modest thread concerning the developing diplomacy of the Grand Duchy of Japuile under the leadership of Casamir I of the house of Episcopo. For practical reasons, I would ask all requests to write to me privately by telegraph. Scheduled diplomatic meetings or other serious talks will be held here.
I would just ask for caution. It will still be private conversations and private meetings, and a general snippet of the news will be made public by me or my colleague. If the other side allows, I/they will give a quote or describe the whole situation in more detail. Thank you all for reading this introduction and I wish you a pleasant reading.

IC, diplomatic meeting between Feudal Italy and the Grand Duchy of Japuile

A modern, private cruise ship with the flag of the Grand Duchy of Japuile arrived at the Venetian shores of Feudal Italy. The vessel arouses the admiration of sailors and travelers. Not by dimensions or number of passengers, but by execution and maintenance. At the highest possible point, an antenna is set up, which receives radio signal and TV signal. The crew completes all the necessary documentation, and special services search the goods taken to the ship. These are not ordinary sailors (in very most cases), but trained professionals from the army.

Emperor Lodovico and his trusted entourage boarded a private ship, which then sailed towards the Grand Duchy of Japuile. The first meeting did not take place on board, in the dining room or at all at the common table, but on the captain's bridge. Grand Duke Casamir I of the house of Episcopo is dressed as the captain of the vessel, because according to ancient tradition, every aristocrat, noble man and heads of state-cities (and then the head of a united country) must be able to sail and manage a ship. These experiences are to prepare you to manage people and resources. The Grand Duke shook hands with Emperor Lodovico, pulling off his characteristic cap, made like a whole outfit of silk, which is lined with cashmere.
-I am pleased to meet you personally, Emperor Lodovico on JGD Grane Ducco, my personal cruise ship. I hope this is not too much of a problem. I assure you that we will have enough time for conversations and rest.-Casamir I put on his hat and smiled gently.-For now, I invite you to games and other activities, I will join when I finish handing out orders and make notes in the captain's diary.-

Emperor Lodovico says: "Grand Duke Casamir I of the house of Episcopo. At last we meet in person. It is an honour. I thank you for blessing our meeting with this elite ship of yours. It is unlike anything in Italia. I have brought my Councilors with me in case we discuss something within their fields of expertise. I hope you don't mind. For now I will enjoy myself on this vessel. I await our talks with great anticipation."

A peaceful journey across the seas to the Grand Duchy of Japuile

Several minutes later

Emperor Lodovico and his entourage were welcomed into a common room that performs multiple functions at once. Dining room, living room and relaxation room, only each zone is separated by a small wall with a curtain through which you pass. Everyone got what they like, be it coffee, champagne, wine or tea, although it is warned not to drink a lot of alcohol before eating. The requirements are really high when it comes to curtains, walls, floors - you can see that the Grand Duke leaves no room for uncomfortable or non-functional.

Half an hour has passed when we are already in the truly wild waters.

Grand Duke Casamir I finally came to his guests, still dressed in captain's garb. He sat down at the table, hosting his guests with a smile and small entertainments, mainly cinematic. He sat down next to Emperor Lodovico while they were watching Japuile's latest grand duchy of cinematographic production, "Please, your Bill of Lading."
-Emperor Lodovico, maybe it's time for us to talk about important things? I would suggest starting with the diplomatic infrastructure, whether it be an embassy or a consulate.-

[Feudal Italia]

"Indeed.", Emperor Lodovico answers. "I believe an embassy would be a good idea. If we establish embassies in both our realms, we could more easily uphold and improve our diplomatic ties. A representative would make long distance cooperation easier. My Chancellor, King Patriziu of Sardinia and Corsica, is an expert on foreign relations, and I hope he can share some of his expertise,"

King Patriziu joins the conversation. "An Italian ambassador present in Japuile could indeed represent His Imperial Prestigiousness, given we find a fitting one. And, of course, Italia would benefit from having a Japuilean representative near our capital. Italian technology is not as advanced as Japuilean technology, so it would take us longer to contact Japuile or travel there than it would take Japuile to do the same to us."

"If we have a very important meeting, I do plan to come meet you in person again.", Emperor Lodovico adds. "But for anything on a smaller scale, an ambassador is exactly what we need. What is your view on this, Grand Duke Casamir I?"

A few days later after the meeting of the heads of state

A few days earlier, on His Grand Majesty's private yacht, a diplomatic meeting between the Grand Duchy of Japuile and Feudal Italy had taken place. According to our informant from the palace, the meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and the latest production of "Please, Bill of Landing". Ambassadors have been assigned from both sides and are waiting for the embassies to be built, which will last another two or three days, with the possibility of extending to five days if the security requirements of the other side require it. Building materials are purchased in local markets, and according to the records, 20% of the embassy staff can be local residents (this does not count for the protection that must be provided in the ambassador's home country).

As it turns out, even in the bosom of war, life can grow

The Great Court hardly expected what was to come after the war on the side of the Nyetoans against the Ukcrossians. It was not expected that the Grand Duke would find a thread of understanding with his former opponent and ordered his subordinates to prepare a representative office and a few days' stay in a newly opened underwater hotel, which is located close to a beautiful coral reef. The thread of understanding was connected with Janpia, although will I sew something specific from this thread?

Arrival of the representative of the other party

The representative of the other side, whose identity has been kept secret by both sides, arrived at the hotel, passing by a beautiful coral reef, over which there is the only cliff in the whole country, Red Sand Cliff. The stone has been flattened and reddened red by the sand over many centuries until it resembles clay from sight. Then, arrival at the underwater hotel, which has recently opened. Currently, it is partially open to testers who will rate the hotel in a newspaper or on the Internet, but there are very few of them. Only 4 people for 30 rooms.

Beautiful interior with a frequent view of the sea, luxurious room furnishings, a wide selection of dishes and drinks. For each new guest who might experience mental problems related to arriving in such an unusual hotel, a set of headphones with music to calm down negative thoughts is offered. But the meeting with the representative of the Grand Duchy of Japuile took place in the relaxation room. Music, hot bubble bath, automatic bar. Just to the surprise of the other party, a woman was chosen to represent the Japuile.

Einvaradk said to himself as he walked along the corridors looking over his suitcase. Like every member of the Janpian Diplomatic Corps, he was wearing a suit, a red and white striped tie of his choice, and the party badge on his chest. Indeed it was a momentous occasion for them, as they were the first members of the Janpian Diplomatic Corps to establish international relations with the Grand Duchy of Japuile.

Naval Attache Shenscho Harukai:"You sure nothing was missing? Just look around you once in a while! This is what I expect to look at when I was signing up for the navy"

The Naval Attache simply laughs it off as he adjusts his peaked cap on his hands and couplings. Indeed, he was more amused by the coral reefs around them, reminiscing about the time he joined the navy. Of course, Rep. Einvaradk simply shrugged at Attache Shenscho, as he maintains a formal posture on his way there. Though unlike his diplomatic corps counterpart, Attache Shenscho brought nothing other than himself. Though at the very least, he knows what the Revolutionary Council was aiming for and what to face as the representative of the Revolutionary Forces.

As they arrived at the hotel's meeting entrance, they took a bow as a sign of respect for all the deals about to be made before proceeding inside the room. Of course, it was also their first time to see an underwater hotel. Something of which was still being constructed back at Janpia. They only gave a small smile, as they tried to look around formally, suppressing their "tourist-y" side per se. But nonetheless, that doesn't stop them from simply gazing over the windows and looking out at the ocean.

Underwater Hotel

Rep. Einvaradk Konereyo and Naval Attache Shenscho Harukai gazed upon the pristine, crystal-clear waters, where they marveled at the spectacle of larger fish swimming solo and schools of fish huddled together for protection. Yet the most awe-inspiring and unexpected sight was a helicopter that floated beneath the surface, before emerging with its four engines blazing. It was an amphibious marvel.



The tight confines of the hotel kept out the din of the outside world, allowing only the soft slapping of fish tails against the windows to be heard. As they looked on, they were approached by a young woman, holding two flutes of champagne, offering them a toast. She was stunning in a light-blue dress, with a delicate neckline that accentuated her waist and a glittering necklace that graced her neck.



-I am Baronet Benoîte Labelle, representing the Grand Duchy of Japuile. It's a pleasure to meet you here, at this magnificent underwater hotel in our country. Just look at the clear and pristine water. It's a testament to the importance of nature in our lives. And just like the water, let us strive to keep our hearts clean and pure, as we take care of our precious planet. Excuse my moment of reflection. May I ask for your esteemed names, my dears?-

Rep. Einvaradk Konereyo:"Ah thank you, but uhh, I don't drink-"

Rep. Einvaradk respectfully declined, as he maintained a proper posture, elegantly standing like a proper diplomat. He kept a strict cadence, not wanting to divert his or the Naval Attache's attention to the underwater submarine

Rep. Einvaradk Konereyo:"But nice to meet you! My name is Einvaradk Konereyo- member of the Janpian Diplomatic Corps. Though you could call me as Sir Ein"

He said in a smiling manner, as he extends his hands for a warm handshake. The Naval Attache remained standing there, but gratefully accepts the champagne. He raised it up in a light toast, and stated his name

Naval Attache Shenscho Harukai:"Janpian Revolutionary Navy Attache, Class-1. Shenscho Harukai. Pleasure to meet with you miss.."

Shenscho catches his breath for a moment, trying to recall her name. There was a little uneasy pause before Rep. Einvaradk broke it.

Rep. Einavaradk:"Nonetheless, what should your name be?"

But nonetheless, they both feel welcomed, though someone looks like he has overextended it....

Nice days spent in the underwater hotel

The Janpian delegates indulged in a serene sojourn at an underwater hotel, basking in the tranquil bliss of oceanic living. They embarked on a mini oceanic adventure, powered by a high-tech underwater device. The three-day retreat was dreamlike, with a melodic surprise as a jazz ensemble arrived to serenade the delegates during dinner. The soothing sounds of jazzspilled into the ethereal dining hall, enveloping the delegates in a peaceful, harmonious aura.

Today, the hotel has prepared a well-cooked wine-coated steak, accompanied by potatoes, and a small fruit salad for its dearest customers. Also, you can choose what you want to drink. Barotness Benoîte Labelle chose a zero percent craft beer called "Locar" for the steak, enjoying music and food in equal measure. Then she turns to his companions, who have learned about the attractions along with her. She was unprepared for diving, and she was skeptical about eating seaweed, which is estimated to be a staple food for those who want to live in the depths of the sea.-I have to admit that this "holiday" was very nice, although I think they sometimes overdid the menu. The Attache said this with respect and a smile, as he awaited his colleague's order. The Attache's peaked cap lies down on the table as he relaxes himself into the dining hall's atmosphere. As for Rep. Einvaradk's order, given that they have some non-alcoholic drinks, he decided to try one of their local craft beers.

Rep. Einvaradk:"I'd like to have what she has. The Locar please"

Rep. Einvaradk adjusted himself as he orders in a polite manner, much to the pleasure of the Attache. Moving on to business, he brought out the suitcase which he always brings around, and pulled out a pocket-sized note.

Rep. Einvaradk:"Aye and yes, I believe that we can establish embassies and consulates between our two countries, as this would make our government relations more streamlined and easy. Though I also believe that we could agree on a scientific pact between our two nations, but I guess we could dive into the detailed parts later."

Rep. Einvaradk then adjusted his notes, bringing the entire conversation to a small silence. Though this silence was broken by Attache Shenscho, who straight-forwardly gave the Revolutionary Council's demands

Attache Shenscho:"As for the Revolutionary Council's demands, I have been ordered with a directive to try establish an Inter-cooperational defense, and forge better relations with the Grand Duchy of Japuille on both military and civilian levels. While indeed both the Janpian Union of Revolutionary States and the Grand Duchy were enemies during the Ukcrossian War, we are willing to forge newer ties as part of our internationalist agendas within the Party. Though I supposed that a joint exercise would also suffice for us to learn about our nation's militaries and reform our nation's relations, along with a series of follow-up meetings to enable restraint and understanding between our forces"

Barotness Benoîte Labelle listened carefully to her good interlocutors, swaying gently in her hands her craft beer when Jezzowa drowns out their conversation for bystanders. Indeed, she likes her holidays as well as what the other side proposes. She took a handkerchief gently, putting her beer on it. She would not like to accidentally pour such a nice tablecloth.
-I think I can agree to almost everything. Due to the beginning of our relationship, the defensive pact would have to be moved after joint military training, because it does not depend on me.
