Thanks! Tho its more of a mix between MC-21 and the 787. The only reference for the A320 would probably be the landing gears.

And ofc, I plan to make an AWACS and a Maritime Patrol Variant of it in the future

With such an old design, it would probably be cheaper to develop an entirely new airframe in the long run, especially given that many of the problems with the design (vulnerable to SAMs, poor ergonomics, anything to do with flight characteristics) are to a certain degree integral to the airframe.

Furthermore, many Su-25 airframes are very old, high flight hour frames reaching the end of their service life. This makes them in effect un upgradeable as regardless of the upgrade, the aircraft will only last maybe 5
,10 years more, making the investment not worth it.

Worst of all, the jet is no longer in production. Manufacturing costs will therefore be high due to the expense of restarting production. Without converting existing examples, costs per unit will be high as the new components and systems will be low production run and hence expensive per unit, and restarting production of a 40 year old design will prove expensive too as supply networks and tooling will need to be re-built, giving high startup costs. This would mean the upgraded version would not offer appreciably better value over new designs, especially if the upgrades are particularly major.

A new airframe would offer much greater capability, as well as room for future upgrades and enhancements. Furthermore, it would allow the mission profile of the aircraft to be tailored to the modern battlefield, wether this is through stealth features, long range radars or higher speeds.
