About Us

Founded on 5th June 2016, The Region That Has No Big Banks (TRTHNBB), is a region that came to fruition in the 2016 US Election Campaign as one of the most prominent Sanders-supporting regions. Since then, we have evolved into a well-established Democratic Socialist region on NationStates while proudly preserving our original identity around Bernie Sanders, as you can tell from our regional flag!

We are a vibrant and friendly community, TRTHNBB's regional activities center around casual & political conversation, roleplaying, arts & cultural affairs, gaming events, and a regional government inspired by the US system. Our community is mainly based on our Discord server, and we warmly invite you to become a part of it!

We will use this thread for regional announcements, sharing information, and providing general updates, feel free to ask any questions or use this thread to find out more about us.

Hey, yeah the region had a period of relative inactivity. But over the past year the region has sprung back into life a bit with some newer Citizens.

When were you a citizen?
