Dietsland Parliament elect Mark Rutte, the first president of The Republic of Groot Dietsland.
Mark Rutte of VVD (VOLKSPARJIG VOOR VRIGHEID en Democratie)(People's Party for Freedom and Democracy) got 14 supporters in the 25 legislative body. He is a seasoned politician with extensive experience in diplomatic and international affairs.
Parliament began voting about two hours ago to elect a new president to lead the country. Mark Rutte remained the most fortunate candidate with the tremendous support of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy before the start of the elections. Aside from two other competitors, Sigrid Kaag (Democrate 66) got 8 votes.
In a speech to the Dutch parliament, Mark Rutte said: “The constitutional duty imposed a heavy responsibility for the people’s aspirations.
