Election Day Coming Up: First Round of Opinion Polls Are In
With the election coming up, the Bedston Herald surveyed the nation with 2 questions:
1. Which party will you be considering voting for?
2. Which party will you NOT be voting for?
For question 1, we saw some very different results. In urban areas, such as Nova Keiransgrad,
we saw the Federal Party and Prince's Party neck-and-neck. In Bedston, there was an
overwhelming Prince's Party preference. In rural areas, the Democratic Socialist
Union won the vote by a landslide, getting 63% of the vote. In the suburbs, there wasn't as
much Prince's Party preference as in urban areas, with the Federal Party winning 48% of the vote.
For question 2, the Treylandian Nationalist Party was overwhelmingly picked, with the reasons
ranging from "too extreme" to "won't make any progress on gun laws." The controversial
gun ownership policy seems to be the number one deterrent for voting this party, considering
how one of their policies is doubling down on the guns, and even legalizing assault weapons.
So, in conclusion, opinion polls are in, and the Prince's Party appears to be ahead in the polls.
and the Treylandian Nationalist Party is behind. Could this lead to an absolute monarchist,
pure-blooded conservative sentiment in the populace? Our journalistic exposè next week
will answer just that.
