Breaking news: Emperor Sebastian Dean has become increasingly paranoid, accusing some of his most well known Anti-Communist advisors and officials of “socialist behavior”. | Our (Unofficial) Allies in Krieg have begun helping Rebels in the communist occupied Japan! The Texan government commends this!

"La-de-da" pluralizes as "las-de-da."
"La-di-da" pluralizes as "la-dis-da."
"La-dee-da" pluralizes as "la-dees-da."
"Hodey-ho" pluralizes as "hodey-hoes," as one might expect.
"Fleur-de-lys" pluralizes as "fleurs-de-lys."
Seems like it's detecting the double hyphens as being from non-English languages and trying to apply the appropriate plural form.

Thanks for testing. I've flagged this bug backstage.

Isn't '"fleurs-de-lys" the correct pluralisation?

Yeah, as far as I know with my limited French. I probably should have noted that. I actually tried "fleur-de-lys" because I suspected it was recognizing the "-de-" as French. But I'm not sure where "-dis-" in "la-di-da" and "dees" in "la-dee-da" could be coming from.

Or, you could just check Wiktionary. (Notably, if it's to be believed, then the hyphenated form is only used in English.)Bears Armed wrote:My knowledge of French is also limited, but I was going by my knowledge of 'armorial' [i.e. "heraldic"] terminology instead. Then again, in that contexxt it might be based on an old rule no longer used in French itself -- or perhaps be as used in Norman-French (or so some other relevant dialect) raather than in the Parisian French that has become standard over there since Medieval times...
