Pokemon RP OOC Olympos Region

I was thinking of being a kid from Johto region who has already been traveling region to region catching and training her Pokémon.

Considering that we're limited to one starter Pokemon, somehow I feel like that concept will have difficulties.

With each region, she will start with a new starter Pokémon. I am thinking of starting with a Pichu, the baby of a Pikachu she caught back when she first started traveling.

Regarding legal movesets, are we restricted to Gen 8, or am I allowed to use moves a Pokemon had in previous generations that were cut from the newer games? Also, are egg moves allowed for our starters?

Bio:
Born in Lumiose City of the Kalos region, Bernard grew up in one of the most popular cafes in Lumiose City. Bernard grew up in a loving environment, with two Meowstic, a Delphox, and a Gengar who helped his parents operate the cafe. Bernard's passion for Pokemon officially bloomed at 9, when his older sister became one of the most powerful trainers in the Kalos region. When Bernard finally reached 10, he went to his parents and asked if he could go on a journey during summer break. His parents, however, were against the idea. With his sister, Claudette on the top of the Kalos league ladder, Bernard's parents wanted him to stay in Lumiose city, study, and eventually take over the family cafe.

Bernard accepted his parents' decision and studied at a local school in Lumiose city. At the age of 12, Bernard's life was changed forever with the passing of his grandmother. When the funeral was over, Bernard's uncle gave him a box, that was left to him by his grandmother. Inside the box was a Pokemon egg, a brand-new standard Kalos Poke-dex, and a letter, telling him to pursue his dream to become a Pokemon trainer. The egg later hatched into a Bagon. After negotiation with his parents, Bernard was allowed to go on a small journey during his summer break, and travel to the distant Olympos Region.

this looks fun.
I have three questions, however:
1. What Pokémon are available for catching in the region, or rather, what does the Regional Pokédex look like? Everything and the kitchen sink?
2. Trainer class - are we limited to what is available ingame or can we make up our own? And are we limited in our Pokémon selection by that trainer type?
3. Is there an evil team trying to take over the world or whatever they do all day long these days?

Bio:

Sophia was born in a distant region, her parents well-off. She went to school, soon joining the city's swimmer team. Sophia developed into a water-rat, spending her summers at pools and at swimming competitions - while she was good, she was not stellar and she decided to keep swimming a hobby, not a career at around 15. Around that time, her family's Samurott had an egg, the Oshawott soon taking a liking to Sophia.

Naming her Alke, Sophia and Alke joined the local Battle Club, but like with swimming, she was good, but not stellar and a career as a professional Pokémon Trainer was not hers anyway. She mostly enjoyed the socializing with other trainers and, together with Alke, help the younger trainers. Big Sis Sophia became a meme in the club. For when Sophia did go into battle, she had the personal of Knightess Sophia, including with a prop-sword (basically a wall decoration with delusions of grandeur).

That, and a few weeks helping in the local tutoring school, convinced Sophia that she wanted to become a teacher and study in that direction, preferably for elementary school kids. But, after graduation from High School, it was time for her graduation trip - a few weeks of Olympos, its beaches, said beaches' deniziens (both human and Pokémon) and other things she might encounter.

Profession: Cool Trainer (What most people would call an Ace Trainer nowadays, but he still uses the old slang)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: The boy on the left, with his little sister Penelope. He will probably dress more with something like a polo shirt and shorts for journeying around the region, depending on the weather
Bio: Alexander was born as a third child into an aristocratic, old-money family, in a mountain castle near Blackthorn City. The Montdrarchs rose to prominence centuries ago as a clan of dragon-tamer warriors in Johto's feudal past. As the generations passed by they successfully transitioned from winning their victories on the battlefield to the boardroom, shrewdly investing in several industries, while still keeping their martial traditions alive. A majority of Alexander's childhood was spent around Blackthorn City, where he and his siblings would spend plenty of time hanging around the gym or Dragon's Den, mingling with cousins and dragon tamers. Incidentally, the two groups had plenty of overlap due to various historical oaths of fealty and intermarriages with other old clans in the area; both the gym leader Clair and champion Lance are distant relations of his.

Alexander's father Phillip worked in the Montdrarch's private military company, Draco-Watch, and this work resulted in a lot of travel. Sometimes his father would only be away for a week or so for a brief inspection of some site or operation related to the family businesses, or perhaps be gone for a few months fighting a criminal team that was unusually active in the area. Occasionally there would be an assignment somewhere for a year or more, and in those instances Phillip would move his wife Helen and all six children to where he was stationed. The first of these moves that Alexander was alive for was when he was when he was 4, where the family moved to Cianwood for fifteen months. At 7 years old his father's work sent them to Vermillion City until he was almost 9. Not too long after his eleventh birthday came a sixteen-month tour in Slateport City. Fourteen months after returning to Johto he would move to Veilstone City, but the family only stayed there for half a year before Team Galactic activity grew too dangerous, and they were evacuated back to Blackthorn while Phillip stayed behind for seven more months until the threat subsided.

After returning from the crisis in Sinnoh Phillip did not have to move his whole family again for a long while. Nevertheless, as Alexander was now a young man his father started bringing him along on some of his shorter trips, and so the boy got to see Anville Town, Canalave City, Castellia City, and northern-central Kalos. His family would also take vacations around Johto and Kanto, giving him plenty of familiarity with his home region. Recently his father was tasked to oversee the security for Shogun Shipping (another Montdrarch family business) as they establish their first facilities in the Olympos region. Additionally, Alexander's older brother Hector, who had concluded his own gym challenges in Johto, Kanto, and Hoenn, would come along. Phillip would run everything for ten weeks, and then turn over the day-to-day management to Hector for his first assignment while he would return to Blackthorn City.

Alexander certainly does not feel ready for something like running a multi-million Pokedollar security operation, but he does feel it is time he ventured out into the world on his own. A brand-new region he has never heard of, let alone been to, has stirred a thirst for adventure in his soul. Before he, his father and brother embarked for Olympos Alexander partook in the trials of Dragon's Den and received a Dratini from the master there. The newly-minted Pokemon trainer grows more excited to reach Olympos with each mile, to travel through a new land meeting new people and Pokemon. Little does he expect he might be following in his family's region-defending escapades sooner than he anticipates...

Bio: Born in the Hoenn Region and living quite the nomadic life with her family, Eirlys rarely got to settle down into one place. Since both her parents were trainers themselves, it was expected that Eirlys, and her siblings, would become trainers as well. As the youngest of the siblings, Eirlys watched as her older brothers and sister caught their own first pokemon and made their way off into the world. However, Eirlys was gifted an egg by her parents saying it had come from their Gardevoir and Gallade. Within a few months, the egg hatched into a Ralts, whom Eirlys named Mira.

When she turned ten, Eirlys wished to make her way into the pokemon world, however, she once again was moved by her parents every few months as they began their retirement from being competitive trainers and began leaning more into the search for rare pokemon. They sought rare, shiny pokemon as well as any pokemon that was difficult to find i general. It almost seemed as if they were just bringing along Eirlys and Mira without giving them a chance to start their own journeys. This continued for a few years until they moved into the Olympos region, a region neither parent had been to before and once that Eirlys was determined to go on her own journey within.

For simplicity's sake (and because it'd be really weird to just have every region's Pokemon in one region) expect the vast majority of Pokemon to hail from a singular region (I'll need to figure out which).

Discord server is mainly present in order to provide for a group-based development of a game (if I don't just make one on my own). While it is somewhat more difficult for fast communication, people who just want to stick in the OOC should still be able to play.
