Will Drew Durnil return to NS?

So, most of us know about the infamous drewpocalypse (ik I can't spell it XD). If you don't, basically Drew Durnil made a video on NationStates and single-handedly crashed the servers. So this has made me curious, do y'all think that he will return to NationStates?

Probably not. I think he learned his lesson

I think we should be more worried about other influencers going on ns. We just had a flood of tiktokers since someone made a TikTok about nationstates a few days goes.

He didn't crash the servers, though some areas did experience some lag due to the increased load. (Particularly reflected in the time the daily update takes, which primarily only impacted folks who engage in R/D gameplay.)

NationStates is better off without him here. If he comes here, his fans will follow. The site will lag again, those of us in the GCR's have to deal with his immature fans and their trolling, flaming, etc. Then again, we get this every single time one of these social media booms happen. Some of us deal with enough trolls without their help. -_-

Heh, true. That many new nations flooding in we had a huge spike in nations with inappropriate names/fields. Funny enough, we had JUST added a tool to throttle new account creation just a few days before the flood hit us. Talk about timing!

Nah, the recent TikTok influx was only a tiny fraction of the size the Drewpocalypse was. Drew's was a bit unusual too in that it was multiple waves (which probably helped increase retention after the flood actually.) There was the first massive wave for his first video, and a second wave a month or so later when he posted a follow-up video. That second video probably nudged a lot of new players who might have otherwise been the "sign in once and forget about it" type to come back and stick around.

Funny thing is, as much of a fan of Drew I am, I didn't come here from him. Some friends on Discord once got me to make a nation. I made the nation be something related to Caledonia because I like island nations. I forgot about it one time and then on July 14th, I came along in a return.

Anyways, if Drew did come back, I don't know how I would react. Probably would just shrug it off, honestly.

I watch Drew sometimes,
I found a Nationstates video in my YT recommend on April 30th,
it was not a Drew Durnil video, but it was from a smaller Youtuber
and on April 30th Awqnia was born. After I smashed random letters on my keyboard.

I really like Nationstates, It's a chill community of chill people, Getting on nationstates takes me away from any IRL problems im having, Heck even some classmates love the game as much as I do.

Maybe Drew will return, we will have to just wait and see.
