Most Haunted Place In YN

Postby DiaperLand » Thu Aug 11, 2022 1:49 pm

Many people believe in ghosts and spirits, and there are tales of supposedly haunted locations in many countries. Despite the lack of religiousness in some areas, people may still hold superstitious beliefs concerning certain areas. These locations may be historic or have been host to certain events that still resonate with people in folklore, fiction and rumors.

What is the most haunted place in your nation? What has been reported that makes people believe it is haunted?

The DiaperLand Castle that sits at the heart of our capitol city is reportedly the most haunted place in the nation. Long before the creation of the theme park around it, the castle had stood as a fortress for the port city of Luierstad, what would be later known as Diaper City. It was built in 1856 and was also used as a prison for the island's criminals for 100 years. In the 1970s the castle was renovated and turned into a fairytale style centerpiece at the heart of the DiaperLand Theme Park.

Hauntings have been reported in the castle for generations. Some people have had visions of disembodied heads floating down corridors, shadowy figures walking through walls, and maniacal laughter echoing throughout the structure. Tourists have also reported having their pants pulled down by mischievous spirits, and doors slamming unexpectedly to lock them inside the castle's many maze-like wings.

The people of DiaperLand are incredibly superstitious and often warn tourists not to offend the spirits in the castle. They cite a list of missing persons who disappeared in the theme park as a way to discourage bad behavior.

The most haunted place in the United Realms are the Küxal Catacombs beneath the Santo Felipe Cathedral in Antüria, the capital. The catacombs were previously used as the resting place of the then-imperial House of Küxal-Kofi. The catacombs are widely known for its hauntings, with many of its locals believing there to be a nexus of spiritual activity.

Many unexplained disappearances, accidents, and experiences have occurred within the catacombs, all attributed to powerful ancestral spirits, guardian beasts, and other supernatural creatures. Some of the more notable include:

  • In 1811 (one of the first reported encounters), a graverobber was arrested after turning himself in after attempting to rob the catacombs. It was said that he was so terrified that he preferred execution, as the spirits that had attacked him supposedly threatened to punish him for the rest of his life.
  • In 1999, four individuals attempted to host a rave within the catacomb, but the plan was dropped after the organizers were found dead by unknown means.
  • In 2006, a man fled with an abducted child into the catacombs, keeping law enforcement at bay. The child escaped after about twenty minutes, and later reported that his deceased grandfather had saved him; the abductor was found dead, the cause of which was determined to be a heart attack.
  • In 2010, a film crew was found mauled by an unknown creature of immense size, with their footage missing; afterwards, the city closed the catacombs off to the public.

Rhodevus's Waraan Boat Graveyard. Just off the coast of Rhodevus, in the Bay of Rhodevus, particularly the Waraan coastal descent (a bit of deeper water, surrounded by a much more level terrain all around it). Due to the water's condition's as well as the unique terrain, it has been essentially an underwater tomb of preserved naval battles. Particularly those from pre-colonial times. There are hundreds of sunken canoes and sailboats, littered with the bones of long-dead people. For a time, it was a native tomb, where those able to, could free-dive as deep as possible to swim through the sunken tomb.

People began to see shadows in the waters as they swam through it. Sometimes they would say that the skeletons of the dead moved on their own, grabbing onto them to keep the living with them to drown. Sometimes, it was the shear number of bodies which drove free-divers mad, them running out of air before they could make it to the surface.

Over time as modern diving equipment was invented, the Waaran Boat Graveyard became a more recreational diving spot. Until similar stories began emerging. Skeletons grabbing onto divers. Shadows of the dead swimming with them. Divers going mad. It was all made worse due to being under water.

The last (legal) dive to the Waraan Boat Graveyard took place in 1973 by Rachel Ezzer and Micheal DuJang. Both of them were professional and long-time divers, having dove into much deeper depths, but both agreed that it was the scariest dive they had ever done, even though the conditions were more than perfect. "It's just a feeling you get. Where something always seems to be watching you, and that niggling voice telling you to expect things to not go correctly in the worst way possible."

The Waraan Boat Graveyard is now a part of the Bitoshi Island Nature Reservation. There are still multiple illegal dives per year, and still the occasional death. Along the nearby coast, where most illegal divers go to start their dive, there are two signs. One saying that diving in the Waraan Boat Graveyard is illegal and punishable by a fine and jail time, and the other saying to never dive alone, never lose sight of your diving buddy, and to plan the dive to be twice as long as you expect it to be (just in case).

Outer Islands
These Islands in the Summers Archipelago are very haunted. Accessing them without direct government permission is very illegal and staying there for too long is illegal for everyone. The government occassionally sends sacrifices brave adventurers to these islands, but very few have returned, severely traumatized. Unknown dangers lurk here as the islands are very unstable. There is nobody you can trust.

The most famously haunted place in Tangatarehua is Lake Rotowairua (which literally means "Lake of Ghosts"), in Maungapuia prefecture on the island of Rangiwhero.

Lake Rotowairua is located near the base of Maungapuia, Tangatarehua's largest volcano. There have been four major eruptions in recorded history: 606AD, 1078, 1612 and 1859.

According to legend, during all of these eruptions residents of nearby villages reported seeing the spirits of those who perished in previous eruptions appearing on Lake Rotowairua in the days before the eruption, with their appearance supposedly acting as an omen warning people to evacuate the area due to an imminent eruption.

Indeed, in the most recent eruption (1859) there are multiple accounts from people who swear that seeing these apparitions saved their lives as it prompted them to leave the area before the eruption.

The Polish Grand Republic has many haunted sites across the entire country. one such famous haunted place is the Jarosław Psychiatric Hospital in Warsaw. The hospital was built in 1926 and served as a mental institution aiming to help people with severe mental problems. During the 2nd Great War, the hospital served as a military hospital where thousands of soldiers died. The hospital was returned to civilian status but was also made a destination point for political enemies during the communist period. After the Polish Civil War, the institution was largely left unchanged and continued as a place for political enemies but this time mainly communists and syndicalists as during then the restored Polish 2nd Republic headed by Tadeusz Komorowski branded them as people with mental disorders. The true intentions of sending them to the hospital were to place them for torture, however, as issued by the restored Polish Revolutionary Government.

To this day, the Jarosław Psychiatric Hospital is still an active mental institution but has also been reported as a haunted place. Vloggers and ghost hunters from all over the world flock to explore the hospital at night when paranormal activity is most active.

What is the most haunted place in your nation? What has been reported that makes people believe it is haunted?

The ГУЛАГ #03 (Gulag #03) is considered the most haunted place in Schmidt Island. Built in 1921 by convicts of the Soviet Union, one of the first gulags in Siberia. It was abandoned in 1964 because of a major epidemic of leprosy. The gulag was home to many spooky phenomenons, like the summoning of the Кирлошнов (Kirloshnov), a very tall and pale creature looking like a rat.

People have visited the gulag and never came back many times. In 1993, 2 teenagers went inside the gulag with a camcorder and were never seen again. One day, in 2014, a citizen went inside and found a VHS tape of the 2 teenagers filming what was going on. It was written "Будь осторожен" on it, no one knows what they meant. The person watched the tape and described it "Very traumatising". They made a movie 2 years after the visit in 2014.

The Most Haunted (or believed to be haunted) is the Foxblood Manor (got its nickname from the Foxblood murder) When An Unknown Individual Killed about 45 people in a party, The Murderer died when the murderer slipped and had a fatal head injury, The Fox mask cracked, revealing it was Kanu Ranashi.
People who entered the house after that got a mysterious bug bite and eventually recovered, but encounter strange memories.

Kraussenberg asylum. Established by decree of the huffmanian emperor Schwarze IV in 1795, it was supposed to care for huffmanians with mental illnesses. But of course, as with most hospitals back then (and unfortunately, even in some psych hospitals today unfortunately) they did not treat their patients with the dignity they deserved. Lobotomies, straitjackets, shock therapy, everything you would expect from an 18th century psych hospital. It was shut down by the Republic of Huffmania due to its actions now violating the current constitution of it. The HTA opened up its predecessor “Kraussenberg Psychiatric hospital” although known to commit dissenters, is still much better than the old one. Kraussenberg is completely abandoned, and explorers always report a sense of dread. As if the patients spirits were begging to be let out and get into heaven

Kamilistan's has a rich history of haunted places, such of which is the infamous K-44 Highway or the Trans-Northern Federation Highway 2, known for it's eerie atmosphere and winding roads and unfinished areas, the K-44 Highway lies between the city of Chejjiak and run all through the Northern Mountain Ranges and all the way to the east of Mestia, it was bult in the late 1950s by the King's order, harsh conditions was profound during the construction on the highway, from the cold winter to the falling of workers from the mountain edges, it was then cut short until the 1980s after the civil war ended, where it continue until it's finishing in 1997.

Accidents after accidents of cars falling into the ravine or landslides, pulling the cars away or simply the road made the locals think it's haunted, one such famous haunting area of the highway is the "50 Turns Up and Down" section, where 80% of all fatal crashes occur here, it was nicknamed as the "Ölüm Dönüşleri" or the "Turns of Death", where every corner, there has to be one or two fatal crashes occurred. This is also the first section of the first sighting began.

The Phantom Victim, or the locals called it "The Lost Man of the Turns" is to believed to been sighted by a local driver heading to the town of Utsera, where he saw the Phantom, he described it as "A man wearing a long trench coat, wearing a cap and if you look closely, his face is distorted due to the fatal crash", they say it tends to wait in any section of the 50 Turns, asking any drivers to pick him up, locals told the drivers no to as the Phantom Victim would drove them to their demise, and onto the same place where he died.

There are multiple areas that are considered as haunted, which include "Lavishka Pass" which was built next to a former burial ruins, they believe that the disturbed and restless souls haunts this pass, "Neshkov Village", believed as the "Village of the 100 Ayvariya", the semi-abandoned village is believed that more the 100 evil beings were unleased from Ermark, the person who done this was stabbed and locked in a closed cave somewhere...

And there are some local ghost, which included the "Grey Mercedes-Benz", "The Crying Child" and the "The Hummed Women on Bayirda Peak "

The most haunted place in Comicsland is the Weisz Villa, located in the small town of Wom,in the Confederate State of Papua New Guinea. Built in 1899 by a German millionaire named Frank Weisz,it was abandoned in 1905,after the owner shot himself because, according to a letter founded by the German police, he was constantly tormented by strange paranormal presences. After Wom,aswell as the rest of German New Guinea and of British Papua, was annexed to Comicsland in 1918,the villa was bought and restructured by Anthony Murray, which died in the same way as the previous owner in 1928. According to the state archives of the Japanese Empire, during the occupation of Comicsland from 1942 to 1943, in the garden of the villa were executed about 300 Comicslandian war prisoners, aswell as 200 Japanese accused of treason and about 200 clandestine American soldiers.
In the 70s it was discovered that the villa was built over an ancient Maori cemetery and that, according to the paranormal experts, explains why the villa was haunted in the first place.

Despite it's abandoned from almost a century, the Weisz Villa still is in a relativily good status and,to this day,the paranormal activities are still being reported by the citizens of Wom (the most common paranormal activities are the sound of ancient Maori songs that can be listened in the middle of the night or the weird shadows that can be seen during the day from the windows)

Fun Fact: The Weisz Villa is located exactly at 666 km from the hospital of Goofyland, where Mickey Mouse Jr. was born. Coincidences? Probably not

The Gusztram Castel was erected in 1344 to defend against the Mongols, who were trying to raid the towns and villages at the time, but however it is no longer in use now, as of 2022, it was decommissioned in 1978, and some dead soldiers from 16th century, haunted the tourists to this day.

Postby East Plate » Tue Dec 27, 2022 1:35 pm

The most "haunted" place in East Plate is the British Cemetery, also known as the Dissident's Cemetery before the British acquisition of East Plate. The cemetery was established in 1825, so it is not particularly old (keep in mind it is 1876 in East Plate), but its origins are troublesome and captivating enough that hundreds of stories about ghosts and strange apparitions are very popular and common.

The land on which the cemetery is located nowadays was the place where the Battle of Cardal took place on 20 January 1807, as part of the British Invasions of the River Plate. The battle saw British forces fight against forces loyal to the Viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata, which were trying to defend Montevideo from falling into British hands and securing it for the Spanish. The battle ended with a Spanish defeat, leading to the fall of Montevideo and its capture by the British, but it came at a great loss of life for the British forces. In a state of war and in mostly unknown and unfriendly territories, the British opted to bury their dead in the same spots they had fallen. With the eventual British defeat at Buenos Aires (Argentina) and their withdrawal from the River Plate, the improvised cemetery was forgotten, with some referring to the place as "the Dissident's Cemetery" as most burials there were from Protestants, rather than Catholics. The situation remained unchanged until 1825, when the lands were sold to the British Consul in Montevideo, who (with support from the British Government) officially established the British Cemetery. When East Plate was annexed to the British Empire in 1839, the Cemetery reverted back to public property and was properly recognised as one of the main cemeteries in the colony, being greatly expanded and improved, partly inspired by England's Highgate and Brompton Cemeteries (both also founded in 1839).

A total of 20 graves have been found from those fallen soldiers of the Battle of Cardal, being properly identified and marked with headstones with the inscription "Sacred to the memory of an unknown British Soldier - Battle of Cardal." However, it is estimated that at least 50 other graves are still not found (and probably lost forever). Legend says that every January 20, the souls of those forgotten soldiers rise from their graves and haunt the place, with the sounds of firing muskets being heard all around the cemetery, as if the battle was recreating itself. It is also said that if a woman passes by one of the 20 marked graves, spots them without fresh flowers and decides to ignore them, their first son will join the army and die in a similar way as those soldiers. That is not the only legend surrounding the British Cemetery, but it is by far the most popular.

Other legends say that the cemetery is somehow "connected" with Brompton Cemetery in London, and some people go as far as claiming that, if the right conditions are given, one could potentially "travel" between the two places almost instantly, with some even arguing that things that have been placed at Brompton mysteriously appear in the British Cemetery and vice versa.

Morden Lake, Minokos. A mountain lake near a small town. By day a scenic, placid lake with a small island in the middle of it. Several popular hiking trails in the surrounding forest and hills are to be found, along with local rowing and boating clubs. But by night? Well, there exists a story that a government censored atrocity took place here, and the bodies of a dozen people lay buried beneath the silt and mud at the bottom of the lake. Many report hearing ghostly whispers, urging people to enter the lake and find them, and uncover the truth. The local government has ordered several studies of the lakebed and surrounding land, and reportedly found nothing much of interest. Nonetheless, when the moon is full and an eerie fog sits over the frigid waters, one might hear a whisper carried on the wind.

Many believe that lots of the nations forests and montains (principally in the Aestray System, an enormous conjunct system of highlands and mountains which covers a big part of the country) are haunted by hostile supernatural beings, and habited by cryptids, considering that many missings happenned after some of these creatures supposedly were observed. So, the forests and wildernesses in general.
However, the Imperial Palace is famous for supposedly being haunted by dozens of ghosts of murdered important political figures in the recent past, as well many other government buildings. The Santa'Anna Castle is said to have more than one hundred of them due to the fact that it was used as a detention, torture and execution center for political dissidents of the previous regime (by both opposing factions of the republic). Similar stories are found in many places across the country.
The Idaran Dam, the largest dam in the entire country, is also supposedly haunted by 42 ghosts of workers killed in a terrible work accident both during its construction and its first years of operation.
