No. I'm pretty sure it would not leave any residue of lava if an object is submerged or covered in lava. It would probably be burnt to ash or a clump instead.

No.

Lava is composed primarily of SiO2 and ionic salts, neither of which are polar. Unlike alcohol (ethanol) or water, which are polar and are therefore “wet”.

It is liquid however.

You know there's plenty of rocks that don't liquefy at the temperature of lava? Also some metals. How else would we get samples of liquid lava, or even have steelworks?

What i understand under wet is that other dry materials can soak up the wet material. For example, a tissue can get wet from water. Lava is also a liquid, but can it be soaked up by tissue or a sponge? Afaik it does not, it just burns away the dry material. So my concusion: Lava is a dry liquid.
