Motor in Den Helder ends with fall and two arrests

A man and a woman on a motorcycle were arrested on Thursday evening after a chase that ended in the Nachtegaalstraat in Den Helder.

The chase ended with a fall. The two singers still tried to flee but were arrested by agents on instructions from local residents.

Three cars destroyed in Den Helder night fire, police assume arson

Three cars were destroyed by a fire in the Asterstraat in Den Helder. Police suspect arson.

The fire brigade was alerted at around 3.20 am for a car fire in a parking lot in Asterstraat. Once arrived it turned out to be not one car but three cars. The fire started at the center car, after which it spread to the vehicles parked next to it.
