Coliantia prepares for war as Barasilan violation on airspace intensifies
A News Report by the Sulchi Times, Published on July 6, 2022

The government of Coliantia announced this afternoon that they are making plans and preparations for a possible war with Barasila as the latter's violation on the former's airspace intensifies.

According to a video announcement this afternoon, Coliantian President Ben Mukturi said, "Barasila looks to be tough on their decision to fly their planes over our sacred airspace. We tried to alleviate the tense atmosphere between our two nations, but Barasila has rejected peace and diplomacy. If that is the case, then war may be inevitable. As such, the military of Coliantia has now began preparations and made plans for a possible war between us and Barasila."

Today, around 70 Barasilan fighter jets flew around 1,100 meters above the southern cities of Coliantia, including Imakota, Siktana, and Sibiha. The Imakota Air Force Base had fighter jets and anti-aircraft systems, but they did not attack the Barasilan jets. Instead, they only ordered the Barasilans up above to move out of the airspace, but they were promptly ignored.

The airspace violation began yesterday, when Barasilan fighter jets first illegaly entered Coliantian airspace at around 4 in the afternoon.

The Coliantian government has filed a complaint to the Barasilan government yesterday in regards to the airspace violation, but has since been ignored.

Soldiers in Imakota shoot down Barasilan fighters in fourth day of air violation
A News Report by the Sulchi Times, Published on July 8, 2022

Soldiers in the Imakota base of the Coliantian Armed Forces have shot down a Barasilan fighter during the latter's fourth day of violating Coliantian airspace

According to the report made by the Coliantian Army this morning, three soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division shot down a confirmed number of three Barasilan fighter jets with three Viper 5 SAM missiles via a WUAP-TADS "Caracal" at 9:42 this evening. When asked about their motive, one of them said, "We're tired of them just flying above our land. It's violating our sovereignty. If this means war with them, then let's bring war to them!"

The shooting down of three Barasilan fighters received a mix of good and bad reactions across the country. Some citizens displayed their total support to the soldiers and the shooting down, saying that what the Barasilans are doing is practically an act of war. However, the government was worried that the incident may give Barasila a justification to declare war and use their air superiority, which they have had since the beginning of the airspace violation, to defeat Coliantia.

Coliantia is now four days into the airspace violation of Barasila, where a total number of 120 fighter jets are now participating, So far, the former has tried to be cautious, maintaining peace between the two nations and trying to stop the airspace violation via diplomacy. However, until now, the Barasilan government has yet to say anything about the airspace violation.

BREAKING: Barasila declares war on Coliantia
A News Report by the Sulchi Times, Published on July 9, 2022

Barasilan President Bali Kakatim announced this morning the official declaration of war of his country to Coliantia in a live television announcement.

Following the declaration of war, the Coliantian Navy and Air Force are ordered to patrol the entire island and attack any Barasilan unit that is within their naval and aerial territory. The Coliantian Army is ordered to prepare for an assault on Barasilan territory, most likely the island of Guam, and to prepare for any possible Barasilan naval invasion.

Citizens are ordered to evacuate their homes and go to temporary safety shelters set up in underground metro stations, military bases, bunkers, and others. These safety shelters will be announced by local governments.

Kakatim stated in the announcement that the declaration of war was due to "unjustified Coliantian attacks on our [Barasilan] military and people," and that "we [Barasila] cannot let our sovereignty be harassed without us doing anything."
