Brief Summary: A silent drama film about the Gandoor Revolution, possibly the most notable event in Gandoorese history as it resulted in the abolishment of the nearly-300 year old Gandoorese monarchy and the establishment of the modern parliamentary republic. The film's narrative begins in 1885 (fifteen years prior to the start of the revolution) and ends with the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Gandoor in 1904 (two years after the end of the revolution).

The film received critical acclaim and was praised by veterans of the revolution (the Gandoor Revolution having ended only 21 years prior to the film's release) for its accuracy in its depictions of events, with both Chiba Masato (Gandoor's first Prime Minister from 1904 until 1910 and Leader of the Revolution) and Robert S. Stevenson (Gandoor's second and then-current Prime Minister since 1910) giving particular praise towards it. It was also the highest-grossing film in Gandoorese history, a record which stood until 1960, and the most expensive film ever made in Gandoor at the time.

Sadly one cannot talk about Revolution without mentioning the original cut of the film and the heavy editing it received prior to its release. The film was originally produced as a ten-hour long epic, intended to be screened over the course of five days in two-hour long parts. Partwick Pictures, the studio backing the film, disagreed with the film's length and feared that audiences wouldn't be interested in such a long movie and requested that John Steppen, the film's writer and director, cut the film down to a shorter length. Steppen obliged with their request and submitted a shorter cut to Partwick, who still felt the length was too long and requested that he edit it down further. After continued squabbling between Steppen and Partwick Pictures over the length of the film, Partwick ultimately wrestled away editorial control from John Steppen (citing a clause in their contract that said they could take editorial control if they had not received an acceptable cut of the film by a certain date; as that date had already passed, they received editorial control over the film), with Partwick then assigning Jerry Lowen the task of editing the film down. Lowen would edit Revolution down to the 2 hours 42 minute long version that was released to theaters.

In 1981, Constellation Film Corporation (which had purchased Partwick Pictures in 1978) discovered several film canisters labelled Revolution in Partwick's archives. Film historians examined the contents and discovered they contained a 6 hour 17 minute long cut of the film. John Steppen (still alive at the age of 91) was brought in to view the footage and informed them that they had found the shorter cut of Revolution he had made at Partwick's request. He was also amazed that this cut of the film had both remained archived and undiscovered for nearly 60 years.

Sadly, the remaining 3 hours and 43 minutes of the original cut of Revolution remain lost and are presumed to have been destroyed by Partwick in the 1920s. Only studio executives, the original cast and crew, and several people involved in the Gandoor Revolution (including Chiba Masato, who said in 1927 that 'If people thought the cut of Revolution that was released as incredible, they should have seen the original edit. It elevated cinema to a high point that I don't think it will ever see again.') ever saw the original 10-hour version of the film.

Brief Summary: A rebel youth is outcast (Tezapti) from his island family with no name. While in exile he stands up to corrupt chieftains of neighboring islands group, which includes the father of his betrothed. Much to his shame, Tezapti gained his betrothal by gaming the system, but in a way that is also binding upon all. The chieftains cannot directly harm him without loosing honor and status. Greatly angered by the insolence, they deprive Tezapti of visitation and constantly forestall their wedding by all allowable means.

As Tezapti matures and gains skill among the boatmen, he faces his inner demons and learns to connect with others. He channels his rebellious nature against the corruption around him. After a few years, with a lot of hardship and some worldly success, his life's work and ambition are suddenly destroyed when those he has angered take advantage of a sudden twist of fate. He must then sacrifice that which he loves most, or become that which he despises.

Interspersed are vignettes of how this affects his betrothed and his home island from which he has been exiled. His betrothed uses her intelligence and position within her corrupt family to gain control of her life and escape to freedom, always watching Tezapti from a distance but never approaching. His estranged island clan struggles to overcome their insignificant status while standing up in their own fashion to the exploitation of the fisher lords.

A broken and humbled man, Tezapti sends word that he wishes to return to his home island should they have him. Unable to wait to receive word, and not knowing what to expect, he uses the last of his influence for passage by slow boat to the island of his home village. The end scene shows his family (and in the 1968 and 1991 cuts his betrothed) with wreaths of welcome, waiting at the shore.

The Zingar Ministry of Culture has given this movie a rating of 987 out of 1000, the highest of any major motion picture. It has sparked a genre similar to the American Western, called the Zinzern. Tehzek is the first major motion picture to be filmed in both official languages. While there are several anachronisms, it is mostly true to historical accounts of culture, although greatly fictionalized. Great pains were taken not to offend any ancestry or any tribe while showing the harshness of Precontact life. Tehzek has unified a generation, and permanently changed the shape Zingar culture.

The movie is in 2 parts of approximately 120 minutes each. When shown at the movie theaters there was a 15 minute break halfway through each part, and a half-hour intermission. When aired on television for the first time in 1993, it ran with limited commercials, of 3 parts of approximately 80 minutes shown on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night, with two back to back showings on Saturday and Sunday.

The 1966 cut only survives in black and white (with poor sound quality) and is referred to as the "Flawed Edition." It is used extensively in Film Production Schools. The betrothed is shown as part of Tezapti's greeting party at the end of the movie. It was only shown in theaters in 1966 and reshowings of 1967.

Confusingly the 1968 retouch is referred to as the "Original Edition," All subsequent cuts follow this edition. Several scenes are recast. It does not show his betrothed in the end scene. The 1st and 2nd chase scenes are reversed. A helicopter and modern sailboats can be seen the background of the Childhood Exile Scene.

The 25th Anniversary Edition (1991) adds 2 scenes, clears up some sound issues during the barge collision, and blots out the accidental helicopter. The 1993 Television airing had several scenes clipped short for time, and is considered chopped version of the 25th Anniversary Edition. .

The Final Cut, also known as the Director's cut (1995), keeps the added scenes of the 25th Anniversary edition, restores the longer clips, but recuts every action scene for better pacing. The Childhood Exile Scene is retouched to remove the unwanted helicopter and modern sailboats in the background. It deletes the part of the 2nd landfill chase scene in which a stunt double died, adding unused footage from the 1st landfill chase scene to smooth over discrepancies. The Stunt Double is given tribute in opening credits. A short biography of the stunt double is included in the DVD.

Olga is given a break to New York, but during her break, she drops an Top ISIOS Operative to his death sent after her, unaware of Operative's Identity. because "her work was done, and she does not need to be here." It is also hinted that the mercenaries were also ISIOS Operatives. Second Movie, Underground, released in 2012 Where she continues doing normal work, but discovers ISIOS's action against her, and how ISIOS was a secret operation set up by Nazi Germany in order to bring a fascist future. She flees from a ISIOS and goes underground hiding, killing ISIOS Operatives sent after her. After she shoots the main Operations Coordinator of ISIOS in the head, she meets up with the US Government to Discuss how to defeat the ISIOS.

In The Final Film in the Remastered Trilogy, Olga, now aligned with the CIA, along with other agencies helps coordinate attacks on ISIOS while trying hard to suppress ISIOS's counter Attacks. Even with loss of her close ones, she leads a Massive raid of ISIOS's largest bases, and destroys it, but not before axing the Leader of ISIOS, Renaud Farrell. Although She Escapes from the destroyed ISIOS Base, she is mortally wounded from fire and Bullet wounds and dies in a hospital, not before letting out a big laugh. In The Mid-Credits scene, one year after Olga's death it is reported that the ISIOS had officially dissolved and with most of its members missing, captured, or dead.

Sergei starts recording and gets out his compass. He sees that when he entered the area, the magnetic field was distorted and Fillip started freaking out. They never got back home. 21 years after Sergei and Fillip, someone else visits and finds Sergei's tape. Sergei wrote "Будь осторожен" on it. No one knows what he meant.
