"This organization was not found to become 'top dog' in international politics, alliance chauvinism, or military machismo. I strongly advise we don't tarnish our name the very moment it has reached international headlines by going on the offensive and drawing everyone's ire. A show of strength is exactly what we don't need right now. Let us instead allow ourselves the sweet rewards that our effortless victory over GENA as awarded us and see if we can turn any of our temporary anti-GENA allies into more permanent friends."
"Please note that the Awesome Imperium delegation does not unilaterally represent the collective desires of the Berlin-Vienna Pact. All members are free to voice their opinion on the direction we should take, but one voice alone will never represent us. Please reserve your opinions on this alliance for when an official consensus has been reached. This is not GENA."

"Now that the common enemy is gone what would be the next step for this alliance? there are many paths to choose to walk on and I suggest we don't choose the path where we go around showing our power to others"

Charoskania wrote:"So my country has joined as an observer member in the GLEN, a remnant organization of GENA led by Biladu Al Radifayn, and it's cause is to strike out against the people who are dominating the world via destruction. It is to end suffering and wrong done by others, and it self-identifies to 'bring the just and noble people under one banner'. Now, It's functions are rather similar to the KTO, being a defensive alliance, and a required economic relationship between members. To the honorable people of the Pact, what are your views on the GLEN?"

"If I were to speak from my own bias, I wouldn't trust even the smallest seed of an alliance if I knew it was from the rotten tree that was GENA. Though I suppose most of the trouble we had with GENA was spurred on by the Marajrbian Federation, so it remains to be seen how much of their influence and how much of GENA's corruption has been passed from parent to child. Though the Muqaddasian delegation's overly quick accusations against us do not exactly inspire confidence here. But only time will tell what direction GLEN will go down and what their relations with the Berlin-Vienna Pact will be."
"The one warning I would give is to never judge an alliance by what they say their objectives are, but rather what their actions show they are. Only when we eventually see what GLEN believes through its actions can we be certain of their intentions. I'm sure even the Muqaddasian delegation can find it reasonable to judge an alliance on its actions rather than its words, am I correct? And should GLEN prove to be an upstanding alliance free of the problems and ill reputation its predecessor possessed I would see no reason to continue to view through the lens of GENA."
"This, of course, is my own opinion on the matter. Other members of the Pact may be of a different mind."
