Restart a nation

I want to restart my nation as a whole, or at least create a nation with the same name. If I can prove I am the same person, than what's stopping me from using the same name? Im not going to wait 5 years for the name to be available again.

If you have the password you should be able to restore it.

Your options are wait 5 years, or make a new nation with a very similar name. You could add a 1 or change an E to an A.

If you feel like mEssed up via issues don’t fret as if you keep playing you’ll be able to quickly correct any stats. Even after years of going one direction it’s not impossible to reverse.

The nation name release policy is what stands athwart your mulligaNS; I believe (at least one) of the reasons for its existence is to give players who CTE a fair chance to come back and continue under the same name - which is highly helpful for established players such as regional officers, WA delegates and site staff; like other things it may or may not also connect to NS' jurassic code.

As others have mentioned, should a 5 year wait seem less than ideal, your other option is to carefully manage your nation - this guide could help you make informed decisions on every issue. Might be tough, but sometimes in this game the best way out is through. Good luck
