Harbouring or Aiding DOS players: is it actionable

Postby Anglo-Scotland » Fri Jun 17, 2022 7:19 am

Among some of the region's I live in there is a common theme of helping DOS player's sneak back in, and sometimes admitting it on the RMB, is that an actionable offense?

Being aware of a DOS player on the site and not reporting them is not against the rules - although highly inadvisable. Providing any sort of active assistance to a player in evading Moderator punishments of any sort, including for example posting on their behalf, or transferring nations to them, opens you up to punishment.

Given your region is riddled with serial rulebreakers (and it wouldn't be surprising if your other regions were too) this is therefore not a good idea, if you enjoy playing this game and want to remain on the site.

Quite aside from that, perhaps you should reflect on why those players got DOSed and aren't wanted on the site any more. Players are not banned from the site lightly, and are usually done so for significant amounts of highly unpleasant behaviour towards other players. Why would you want to enable that continuing?

Because, quoting y region, your decisions are arbitrary at best? Most mods are just unjust and ignorant.
If steal, only millions. If give, only best.

This is a question thread, not a discussion one, Saksoni. The question Anglo-Scotland raised has been answered - there is no need for you to post.

Ok thanks, is was wondering because I don't want to make serious accusations without knowing if it's actionable.
