Pretty simple, take stabs (or even better, educated guesses with reasoning) as to one other nation the AU runs as well. This can include acknowledged puppets, but unacknowledged ones are more fun.

Ex.:
UCP does seem rather official NationStates, so I believe they're a puppet of Maxtopia.
