NSGE 2022: DAY ONE Schedule Out Now!

Hello, people.

In case you haven't made any deductions based on the forum title, we’re back for another edition from the 21st to the 23rd May, and we can't wait.

“But Aga, what is NSGE?”, I hear you all ask. Well, to put it simply: NSGE (known among the cooler kids as the NationStates Great Exhibition) is an organization designed to share the collective wisdom of NationStates on one platform, with regions also being able to open their own booths at the exhibitions so that we can all experience snippets of many regional cultures. You can read all of our archives of the past two NSGEs at our forums here.

We’re also making a few changes to how things work. They’re going to be fairly minor, but still large enough to make a difference:

• Previously, we’ve been really particular about encouraging regional booths, talks and events onto the forums, but with the advent of threads and me realizing after two years that things aren’t worth caring about in the grander scheme of things, regions will be allowed to run regional booths solely on discord, and although most things will be transcribed to the forums, some events will also take place on the NSGE Discord for this year.
• We’re going to be running more panels and Q+As - we have a few more than previous years.
• Overall, regional booths are going to be more relaxed. We’ve been quite uptight with them in the past but now as long as regions will promote NSGE in some way, they’re all invited to form a regional exhibition whenever.

If you want to give a talk, panel or Q+A then you’re free to telegram Agalaesia. We’re always looking for interesting people from all walks of NS to give talks, so please don’t hesitate to shout if you have anything you want to yell at the game in general.

Lastly, if you’re wanting to run a regional exhibit this year, please DM me (Aga#3979) on Discord and I can help you get set up.

I think, wait let me check, yeah, one person responded to me in this thread. Not sure what you're getting at, seems like mod bias imo. I should be able to comment without being harassed by the moderators. You basically just implied that people shouldn't reply to me.

Edit: No Xoriet, I'm not doing this for attention. I just think if people wanted to reply to me they should be allowed to without having a moderator hanging over them. but like Reploid said, I don't want to threadjack and break the rules

If you have valid complaints of moderator abuse, please file them via the Getting Help page. Moderators cannot edit, delete, or otherwise alter the contents of your GHR, and mod abuse reports are flagged for immediate admin attention. Be sure to include all relevant links to what you are reporting as well as a clear and concise explanation of what the problem is. I must inform you that the administrators have very little patience for frivolous or outright fraudulent reports, and are liable to dismiss incomplete, unspecific, or wildly generalized complaints outright. (IE: "The mods are corrupt!" absent any evidence attached to the report.)

As always, I've had help from a wonderful organisational team, but it's still quite a large project and I'm greatful to everyone involved.

So I have done one on my characters (codenamed The Sixty) for my first exhibition, and about the NS Stats and Trends Analysis on the second exhibition that I am involved in.

As lovely and amazing as it is, and no doubt on that, I probably am unable to join for this year's exhibition. Partly because I don't really have much in the way of new things, as well as being busy both IRL and on other venues of NS.

It's my pleasure to announce the schedule for Day One of NSGE! Here's what to expect tomorrow (21st May):

• Dilber, former delegate of the West Pacific and incumbent Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aynia, founder of Caer Sidi will talk leadership: expect insights on recognising and fostering talent.
• The Salaxalans, our spudly friend and leader of the Potato Alliance gives us an insight into the Potato Alliance at N-Day 2020.
• Bedetopia discusses the issue of min-maxing and their journey to getting three #1 badges and countless other badges in the top 1%.

All this plus regional exhibits from a wide selection of regions abroad where you can see snippets of regional culture from around the world.
