The Embassy Programme of the People's Republic of Itielia

Welcome to the page of the Itielian Embassy Programme. Under the directives of the Supreme Congress and the State Council of the People's Republic, the Itielian Government wishes to establish diplomatic contact with foreign nations, on the basis of equality, co-operation, and mutual prosperity.

About Itielia

Itielia is a modern socialist country country located in the northern hemisphere. The wide country covered by primeval forests is home to over 89 million people, with half living in urban communities and urban-type rural communities. Itielia is the country of ancient traditions and modernity, vibrant culture and opportunity, development and arts

The foundation of social and economic life is socialist market economy. High-technology manufacture and agriculture form the cornerstone of Itielian economy, while also developing new sectors such as Information Technology, Eco-Tourism, and Pharmaceutical Industry.

Itielia is a people's democracy, which is committed to implementation of the principles of scientific socialism, sustainable growth, environmental stewardship, and general welfare. Itielia renounces war as instrument of foreign policy and calls for world peace.

Embassy Guidelines

1. Please, keep the total number of employed staff under 50

2. Security within the central areas of Itielia is of the highest degree,
and foreign chancelleries will be protected by the Interior Force,
please be considerate when choosing the weaponry for self-defence

3. Under the current legislation of Itielia, foreign missions are
discouraged from participating in or influencing local politics

4. All embassies have to be located in Capital City Vetromest, or within short distance.
Currently Itielia does not accept consuls

Regulations

Foreign diplomats will be treated as pursuant to the international law. The right of secret correspondence and extraterritoriality will be fully respected. For details on diplomatic immunity, please read the following table:
