As I have said that depends on what type of soldier were talking about and indeed a conscript is much cheaper than sophisticated equipment. But that’s no conscripts we’re talking about- that are soldiers deemed fit for overseas service, and each of them costs us an average sum of 75 grand! You don’t expect us to waste all that money for saving some nobody!

We too will fight with heavy casualties if the need will arise, however because most of the case we can avoid them, we prefer to minimize material losses and damage. Perhaps fighting with your borderline outdated equipment may result in heavy casualties, as our troops have seen firsthand in Aursi, however modern wars can and should be fought with minimal casualties amongst ours and allied units in mind.
