[Suggestion] Unification

Postby Hanovereich » Sun Apr 17, 2022 3:00 am

Essentially, this is how it's going to work:

Nation A makes a 'request' to Nation B for unification. If Nation B accepts, Nation B will CTE and unify into Nation A.

Unification includes:

-Forum posts of Nation B are transferred to Nation A
-Stats will remain those of Nation A
-Influence of Nation B will add onto Nation A
-There will be a short message under Nation A's name (on both gameside and forumside) to the effect of "Nation B unified into Nation A on this date"
-You may only unify once
-You must be in the same region to unify

The last three are, of course, designed to prevent people from exploiting this system. I'm trying to safeguard this system as much as possible to stop people unifying just to circumvent bans or something (nations with X amount of warnings can't request to unify?)

This could be useful for people who have made a new puppet and want their old nation to be unified, or something else.

Can't be done. Because of the way in which the game was originally built a nation's name is its basic identifier in the system, including as the source of its posts, so you couldn't transfer details to a nation with a different name (which is also why nations can't be renamed).

(includes The Ursine NorthLands) Demonym = Bear[s]; adjective = ‘Urrsish’.
Population = just under 20 million. Economy = only Thriving. Average Life expectancy = c.60 years. If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.
