The Fleftic Premier League is a Fleftic professional league for men's association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and sits at the top of the Fleftic football league system. It is contested by 20 clubs and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Liga ng Abanhfleft ("League of Abanhfleft" in English). Clubs from the Fhulghamous Peninsula that compete in the Fleftic football league system can also qualify.

The ending to the 2033-34 Fleftic Premier League season was perhaps a bit crazier than it actually had to be. Ludogorets Markovsky had already secured their fourth FPL title over their rivals Sporting Ceneisis, with the last matchday scrap being over who gets to go to the IFCF Champions' League alongside the Foresters and who will have to settle for IFCF Challengers' Cup. Perhaps the biggest surprise of last season is the fact that Pilken Kickers finally won the SFA Cup over Malabon SC, but even then, that wasn't the truly surprising thing in all that. No, the true surprise is the fact that Pilken thrashed Malabon by a score of 7-2! Yes, you read that right: Unang Liga club Pilken Kickers beat FPL side Malabon SC by seven goals to two! Seven goals! Truly, the memelords of the FPL had a field day kicking Malabon while they were already down. But now it's time to move on and make new memes—I mean memories. But it's almost the same, right? Memes are memories, and memories are memes. Anyway, it's time to kick off yet another season of the Fleftic Premier League, and we do that by kicking off the 2034 SFA Community Shield.

It's not the first time that the Walters Lumber Stadium has played host to a Fleftic Premier League team, but this is the first time that the allocation for the 37,500 seater stadium was divided equally between the home side and the away side. But if the 18,750 Pilken fans who flocked to their home stadium were expecting their team to pull off on Ludogorets Markovsky a similar surprise that they gave Malabon SC back in the SFA Cup FInal then they should have been prepared to be disappointed. There were many reasons why Markovsky finished the season in first place and Malabon only in eighth, and letting an Unang Liga team walk all over them was not one of those. The objective of Markovsky throughout the game was to control the ball and dictate the tempo, forcing Pilken to adapt to their opponents' tactics and not the other way around. That being said, Pilken were still able to keep Markovsky out of the scoreboard until Ermolay Ermolaieff turned in an Alberto Castro cross in the 25th minute, and that goal was notable for easing the nerves of the Markovskite contingent. Despite that though, Markovsky continued searching for the second goal that would secure both the result and the SFA Community Shield, but it wouldn't come until the 79th minute from a most unlikely source: the 17-year-old Ludogorets Markovsky academy product Peter Tokody. Hundreds of actual and armchair football analysts will now watch young Tokody's career with great interest after Tokody's incredible long range rabona secured the Shield for the Foresters.

It's now time to kick off the new season of the Fleftic Premier League in earnest, and just one week after winning the SFA Community Shield, the defending FPL champions Ludogorets Markovsky have been beaten by Antslinngs Islands. And in the Foresters' own turf to boot! This is most definitely not the title defense that Markovsky fans envisioned their club would be doing right now. However, the ugly truth must be said: Markovsky underestimated the Islanders, and now they've paid the price for it. Rosenpfelblatz City have also been beaten by Locomotive Imgortur, the FPL champions from the 2025-26 season, in what appears to be a continuation of the Citizens' struggles from last season. It's a worrying development considering Rosen City's last title was more than a decade ago, and this is not getting them any closer to lifting the title over their heads. And thanks to their 3-0 victory over newly promoted Electric Yugal, Marinos Thimpodopoulos are topping the FPL table for the first time in a long time. Whether they will remain there within the next few matchdays is an entirely different story however.

Speak of the devil. The defending champions and the current league leaders met on matchday two, and from the start it was clear why Ludogorets Markovsky had been the winners of the FPL last season. The Foresters had learned their lesson after their defeat at the hands of Antslinngs Islands and are now no longer taking any chances at all. However, there were still a few cracks that were showing through, as shown by the fact that after controlling the game for 80 minutes, the Foresters allowed Marinos to score two goals in the remaining ten minutes and make for a much more nervy finish than the game really had any business being. In any case, Marinos' defeat at the hand of Markovsky allowed Riuwiee United to sneak into the top spot, and it all had to do with the Blue Tribesmen smashing Thereisnogodistan by 5 goals to nil. Meanwhile, Rosenpfelblatz City's woes continue with a 3-1 home defeat against Arsenal de Releinthi, and Malabon SC are not doing themselves or their hopes for the IFCF places any favors as well with their 4-2 loss against Rodrigues.

Only three matchdays in and we already have a titanic clash between two teams from the Capital Islands, and you could even make a claim that this was an important clash for the title race even at this early point in the season. Of course, Riuwiee versus Wanda Island is not the Capital Islands derby that attracts all the views and fandom clashes, but to say that nobody cares about Riuwiee versus Wanda Island is also telling an outright lie. Both sides have had a long and storied history of disliking each other and wishing that the other team wouldn't win games, let alone the championship, and this match was no different. Both Riuwiee and Wanda Island knew that a win here would catapult them to the top of the FPL, hence why both sides seemed determined to almost murder the other side's players. Luckily, and thankfully, nobody was actually murdered on the pitch, although the tackles were all crunchy and hard-man-esque. And the end result of it all is a victory for the Blue Tribesmen, the home side, and they further cemented their place at the top of the pile after Arsenal de Releinthi were shockingly defeated by Antslinngs Islands (teams really have had a knack for underestimating these guys, huh?) and Locomotive Imgortur could only muster a goalless draw with Marinos Thimpodopoulos. Is it perhaps going to be the capital club's year once again?

After the potentially title-deciding clash between Riuwiee United and Wanda Island Wanderers, we now come to the clash of the underperforming clubs in the form of Malabon SC versus Rosenpfelblatz City. Both of these clubs need to get a win soon in order to jumpstart their flagging season or else they could find themselves battling in the wrong end of the table, and both sides' supporters don't want that at all. Especially not Malabon supporters, whose memories of toiling away in Unang Liga (even if it is just for one season) are still fresh in their minds. But if their defense continues to be as porous as it was against the Citizens then Ravens fans should prepare themselves for the possibility of another relegation. Sure, their team could be excused for fielding a backline averaging only 20 years old which had been thrown into a literal baptism of fire, but then again, they had numerous chances to keep that particular ship tight and they blew it. Maybe Malabon really does deserve to play another season in the second tier to get their priorities straightened out once again.

Once again, the vagaries of the flow of time in the greater multiverse have played havoc with the Fleftic people's understanding of such a concept, and thus because of this, it turns out that Abanhfleft no longer has enough ranking points to justify being allowed to send two teams to the IFCF Champions League. Thus the fight for the IFCF places has become bloody once again since once again we are back to only having four places instead of five. Riuwiee United remain the only team to be completely undefeated for the first month of the season, and because of this they are sitting pretty on top of the entire Fleftic Premier League. Locomotive Imgortur have made a good accounting of themselves, drawing only one game out of their first four to put themselves firmly in second place, while both teams on either side of the Carrizozo Strait fill out the two remaining Challengers' Cup places. Arsenal de Releinthi fans will feel happier about this current placing since it seems their club on top of Wanda Island Wanderers once again, and as everyone who knows a fan of Releinthi knows, that's the most important thing for them, above everything else such as winning the league or the SFA Cup.

At the other end of the table, Unang Liga champions Electric Yugal and returning club Thereisnogodistan are back in the relegation places once again, but frankly, fans of both clubs have come to expect that. Especially given that Thereisnogodistan haven't even found the back of the net at least once in the four games that they've already played. But what isn't expected by anyone else is the fact that Malabon SC are propping up everyone else in the table. Oh, how the mighty have fallen indeed. Nobody knows why Malabon have decided to become this shit all of a sudden. Most other times, they've always been middling around in mid-table, and there have been instances where the Ravens started off a new season poorly only to bounce back and escape relegation by a handy amount. But will this season be another one of those seasons or is there something more behind the scenes that could actually mean the downfall of Malabon SC (once again)? It's still too early to tell, of course. Once a few more games have been played, then maybe that is the time to make opinions, both informed and knee-jerk.

The "tests" for Riuwiee United just keep on coming. First it was Wanda Island, now it's the turn of Sporting Ceneisis to challenge the Blue Tribesmen's winning credentials. And it worked for all of fifteen minutes before Ramadan Ibrahim found the space that he needed to shoot for the top right corner. After that, it was the capital club's turn to hold off all attempts from Josiah Buba's men to snatch a point out of this contest, and on this task Maksim Shinkarenko's personnel were markedly more successful. And with victory secured over Ceneisis, Riuwiee United further cemented their place on top of the pile, but they may have to look over their shoulders for the club in sky blue as Rosenpfelblatz City appear to have been rejuvenated by their victory over Malabon and are now looking to return to where they feel they deserve to be. The Citizens managed to get all three points in their match against Antslinngs Islands after many other clubs aiming for the IFCF places failed in that, but to say that the result wasn't in the bag for Rosenpfelblatz would be telling a lie.

Not even the mighty Foxes of Admiral Porcusces were good enough to stop Riuwiee United from making it six wins out of six. The fact that they were able to hold out for 77 minutes before finally conceding from a Mamadou Haidara free kick would be scant consolation for Porcusces fans as this loss now sees them just one point away from being in the relegation zone, which is exactly where they don't want to be. Meanwhile, Ludogorets Markovsky's title defense continues to go up and down and side to side like a rollercoaster as the Foresters followed up their exhilarating (though maybe not so much to their fans) 4-4 draw with Rosenpfelblatz North End with a drawn-out slog of an affair away to Thereisnogodistan, where they were made to fight for all three points by a side trying to keep themselves from going back down into Unang Liga once again. Markovsky fans have Cassio Conceicao to thank for their club being able to go away from Richard Dawkins Park with all three points because of his penalty in second half stoppage time. But having said that, will someone be able to stop Riuwiee United at all?

Maybe it is possible to stop the juggernaut that is Riuwiee United. And out of all the clubs in the Fleftic Premier League that could have done that, it had to be struggling Malabon SC as well to boot! It sounds like a cliche at this point, but it really does seem as if the Blue Tribesmen underestimated their opposition on matchday seven by virtue of the fact that Malabon are struggling to get out of the drop zone at the moment. But Riuwiee seemed to have forgotten that Malabon is part of the Capital Islands as well, and that this game is indeed another Capital Islands derby. Malabon may have been fighting for survival and scrapping for every single point that they could against the Blue Tribesmen, but Maksim Shinkarenko's men didn't appear to be fighting for anything at all. Armchair analysts would be quick to point out that the body language of the Riuwiee players was laidback, lackadaisical even, and this proved to be the key to why they were unable to get all three points against Malabon. For those who tuned in to the Riuwiee-Malabon game expecting a blowout or a potential goalfest, they would have been better off watching the eleven-goal game between Fleftic Air Force and Sporting Ceneisis. Yes, you read that right: eleven goals were scored between the Air Force club and the Blues of Ceneisis, and the end result of it is the Air Force pulling off an incredible result against Josiah Buba's men. In fact, there were a lot more matches on matchday seven that people could have watched instead of Riuwiee United versus Malabon SC and they would have gotten their money's worth and more! But that's football for you.

Is this perhaps the beginning of the end of Riuwiee United's title race? Just a few weeks ago, it seemed completely inconceivable that the Blue Tribesmen would not win every single game they will play in the league this season, but now this has been the second consecutive scoreless draw that the capital club has achieved. Sure, it probably won't attract as much attention because the team that held the Blue Tribesmen scoreless for the second straight time is doing just fine in midtable, but it's still a bit of a worrying development for the fans of Riuwiee United. Their fans had made fun of other clubs dropping points against midtable opposition and relegation battlers, and now their own club was doing it as well. This wasn't how their title challenge was supposed to happen, right? Oh, well. At least they still have a clear gap to the rest—wait, when did Locomotive Imgortur become just one point behind them once again? And how did Rosenpfelblatz City and Ludogorets Markovsky make their way back into the IFCF places as well?

And normal service has finally resumed for Riuwiee United. But it is doubtful that a lot of people other than their own fans would care about the fact that they finally won a game again when it's against just the Fleftic Air Force. Everyone else's attention has been drawn to what is arguably the marquee matchup of the matchday which is Arsenal de Releinthi versus Wanda Island Wanderers. The Carrizozo Strait derby is perhaps one of the loudest and most intense of all the derbies in Abanhfleft, with potentially only the rivalry between Riuwiee and Releinthi and Ceneisis and Porcusces being able to rival it in terms of how much one side would love to see the other lose by a big margin. Releinthi have definitely had the upper hand in this derby as far as official records go, but on this day, it would appear that Wanda Island have pulled a quick one over their Carrizozo Strait rivals. The scoreline doesn't lie, and after having had the shadows of numerous 4-2 defeats hanging over them, Wanda Island fans now finally have one that they can rub into the faces of their Releinthi-based rivals. It's such a big result that it's overshadowed everything else, even the Rosenpfelblatz derby between Rosen City and Rosen North, although that's probably to do with the fact that the expected victors actually won. In any case, Wanda Island have won on Releinthi's home turf, and Wanderers fans will be enjoying this for as long as it lasts.

Despite that little stumble in matchdays seven and eight, Riuwiee United are still leading the rest of the Fleftic Premier League in terms of the most important variable, the points. They remain the last team still to tally a defeat in the league this season, and given the form that they've had before those two consecutive draws, you wouldn't begrudge them from actually going invincible and winning the league without a single L. Oh, there's certainly one club in the pile who won't be happy about that and will do their absolute and utmost best to make sure that that never comes to pass, especially when it's one of their big rivals. Meanwhile, Rosenpfelblatz City appears to have well and truly bounced back from their less than stellar start to the season, and they now occupy the spot of best of the rest, which comes with it a ticket to the IFCF Challengers' Cup, with both Locomotive Imgortur and Wanda Island Wanderers hot on the Citizens' heels. And Malabon SC are still mired deep in the wrong end of the table as far as they're concerned, while it looks like Rosen North End's stay in the Fleftic top flight is in danger of coming to an end. As for Electric Yugal, it was probably expected that they would struggle, and struggle they have. Their position in the FPL does not look tenable at all.

Nothing much to report on during matchday ten other than the fact that Riuwiee United are still winning games. The Blue Tribesmen really did have their fans scared for a short second there with that run of two draws, but they're back to winning ways once again, even if it against the bottom club in the Premier League Electric Yugal. Three points is three points, as they always say. And Rosenpfelblatz City continue their efforts to reel in the capital club even as the points gap between the two teams continues to grow bit by bit. And speaking of getting things back on track, Ludogorets Markovsky may have just settled back into the rhythm of their title defense. That being said, it's still a shock to see Admiral Porcusces struggling this hard after the numerous times that they've shown that they are deserving of IFCF football. Not this season, apparently, but if they pull it off, no one will probably hold it against the Foxes. Except probably the team that finishes fifth, but that's still a long way away. A lot of things can still happen between now and then.

Now this is a clash that everyone is looking forward to seeing. The defending champions, Ludogorets Markovsky, at home against the club leading everyone else in the league at the moment, Riuwiee United. It's not often that this match has been this highly anticipated since Riuwiee and Markovsky aren't usually the championship contenders in any given season, but now here they are, and both teams have a point to prove. Markovsky wants to prove that they are still capable of defending their title while Riuwiee want to show everyone else that this is truly their season. And what do you know? Maybe it is Riuwiee United's time to shine once again. Markovsky did strike first with an Ermolai Ermolaieff goal in the first half, but that was perhaps all part of the great Riuwiee United masterplan. It certainly makes the "title underdogs" storyline a little bit more believable, but could you really consider a team with eight wins, two draws, and zero losses an underdog? Probably not. In any case, the Blue Tribesmen scored the goals that they needed in the second half to further cement their status as the league's top dog. There may be no dethroning them anymore, and they might even prove to be truly invincible as well.

Perhaps we spoke too soon. Maybe Riuwiee United are vulnerable after all. And nobody probably expected that the team that would hand the Blue Tribesmen their first defeat of the season would be Locomotive Imgortur. The Engineers had a great start to the season but they've started flagging a little bit once the FPL got well and truly running, which is a bit ironic considering that their team is supposed to represent the engineers and train drivers controlling the massive hulks of steel that deliver people and freight throughout the country. In any case, Imgortur held off all of Riuwiee's advances, which is a feat in and of itself considering that Spiridionis Matsouras scored in the tenth minute to give the away side the lead, but once again, that's football. Even the most unstoppable of teams can sometimes stumble and fall flat on their faces. And now that Riuwiee United have proven to be actually beatable, this has emboldened Rosenpfelblatz City to continue their title challenge, and with the Citizens' victory over Fleftic Army, they are now just one point away from claiming top spot from the capital club. Not bad for a club that struggled at the start of the season.

This is the problem with showing any sort of vulnerability in the Premier League; even just a single slip-up could get all the other teams to call for your blood. And that's exactly what Arsenal de Releinthi did when it was time for them and Riuwiee United to play the Capital Islands derby, at Releinthi no less. Releinthi could sense that there was blood in the water, that Riuwiee were still reeling from the loss against Locomotive Imgortur at the May 26 Stadium. And the Gunners, true to their name, found their targets swiftly and without delay. Releinthi are always good for at least one game per season in which they absolutely control the flow and tempo of the game, and they used it to terrifying effect against the hapless Blue Tribesmen. Three goals in the first half does not lie a single bit. And this would have been the perfect opportunity for Rosenpfelblatz City to climb up to the summit of the FPL if they hadn't let themselves get beaten by bloody Sporting Ceneisis. They had the chance to take the lead in the Premier League and the Citizens blew it. They absolutely blew it, no questions asked. That could very well be the death knell of their Premier League challenge.

Or maybe not. Riuwiee United survive to lead the Fleftic Premier League for another matchday, although Rosenpfelblatz City are still hot on their heels after the Citizens casually swept aside Admiral Porcusces to claim another three points in the battle for the 2034-35 league title. For everyone thinking that the Foxes are just in a funk that they would eventually work their way out of, perhaps it's time to rethink that. Porcusces may have some points under their belt this season, but they're still perilously close to the drop zone; one more slip-up and they could end up right in the thick of it. Still, it could be worse. They could be like Malabon SC who are actually in the drop zone and don't look like they have a hope in hell of escaping it. Surely that would have been very comforting words for Ravens fans. Not. And Arsenal de Releinthi continue to show their instability in form with their 3-1 defeat to Paulsen FC. How can one team be good enough to defeat what was once considered to be the undefeatable, only to fall flat against the next team to come along? Such a strange league, the FPL is.

Not much has changed in the table since the last time we looked at it. Riuwiee United are still on top of the pile, Rosenpfelblatz City are right behind the Blue Tribesmen, and both Wanda Island Wanderers and Arsenal de Releinthi are now occupying the remaining Challengers' Cup places. Locomotive Imgortur have dropped off after a good start to the season, and Ludogorets Markovsky's title defense looks less like a defense and more like of an "eh, it'll do" kind of thing. Malabon SC, Rosenpfelblatz North End, and Electric Yugal are still the bottom three teams so nothing has changed in the relegation battle picture as well, although some clubs such as Admiral Porcusces and Marinos Thimpodopoulos definitely look like they're flirting with the possibility as well. Their fans would very much prefer that they don't, however, and that's perfectly fine and understandable. Nobody likes to get relegated, but every season, three teams have to go down anyway. No one wants to be the ones who actually have to go down though. It's easy to say "just do better!" but nobody knows the circumstances behind why they're all struggling like this though. Let's let them sort themselves out and leave them be.

This is it. This was the game that everyone was waiting for. Riuwiee United versus Rosenpfelblatz City. Blue Tribesmen versus Citizens. Dark blue versus sky blue. First versus second. Only one point stands in between them, and victory for either side would see them on top of the pile at the end of matchday fifteen. So it went just about exactly as one would expect a game with stakes as big as this would go: both sides played themselves to a draw. Not to say that both sides were only aiming to get a draw; well, maybe Maksim Shinkarenko's game plan revolved mostly around that, and it clearly worked out in the end. But once again, that wasn't to say that the Blue Tribesmen got that point easily; Rosen City were pretty much dominant in the first half, and they will have nobody to blame but themselves for dropping those two points that could be very important to their title challenge this season. One gets the feeling that the capital club will be the happier of the two for sharing the spoils. The chase for the Challengers' Cup places also continues below the two blue clubs with both Arsenal de Releinthi and Wanda Island Wanderers currently hanging on to third and fourth respectively, although the Wanderers definitely lost some ground after losing 1-0 to Xemlice Rovers. Nobody is locked into their places just yet. There's still a lot of room to move around.

After all the excitement surrounding the (admittedly eventful) title clash between Riuwiee United and Rosenpfelblatz City, it was time to return to reality and watch Riuwiee United continue to storm their way towards the title. After serving as a sort of banana peel to some of the other title hopefuls at the start of the season, Antslinngs Islands now seem content to roll over for the Blue Tribesmen without a fight, something that will be sure to annoy the big teams that had dropped points against them. Another team that will surely be annoyed with that turn of events is Rosenpfelblatz City. They followed up their draw against Riuwiee with yet another draw against Paulsen, and to say that their fans aren't happy would be an understatement. This was the Citizens' best chance at winning the Fleftic Premier League since they first became members of the old UICA, for crying out loud! And now they were going to let the bastards from the capital run away with the title just like that? This certainly wasn't how Rosen City fans expected their campaign to happen, but for the moment, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

The status quo remains on top of the table, at least as far as both Riuwiee United and Rosenpfelblatz City are concerned. That draw by the Citizens against Paulsen is looking more and more critical to their season by the matchday, especially now that they've dispatched of Fleftic Air Force easily and convincingly. Then again, Rosen City wouldn't have been able to take advantage since even though Riuwiee looked like they were perilously close to dropping all three points against Marinos Thimpodopoulos, a very late rally led by Mamadou Haidara and Ryan Philips ensured that the tide would be turned in favor of the Blue Tribesmen. But the real fun lies with the Challengers' Cup places, where Arsenal de Releinthi were shocked at home by the defending champions Ludogorets Markovsky, who didn't look anything like champions anymore but were still very much interested in making sure that they played a part in the title chase for the 2034-35 season. Wanda Island Wanderers would have been laughing at their counterparts from across the Strait of Carrizozo had they not been made to eat humble pie as well courtesy of their shock defeat to Thereisnogodistan, who are still struggling to get away from the relegation zone. Yes, neither Gunners nor Wanderers fans would be sleeping soundly knowing that their club messed up big time, but that is counterbalanced with the comfort that their rivals messed it up big time as well.

Now things are getting really interesting. The top two are putting even more distance between themselves while the rest of the league continues to trip over one another. Rosenpfelblatz City are able to edge closer to Riuwiee United after the Blue Tribesmen dropped two points against a Sarvusdalamoive side that's managed to fly under the radar because of all the chaos happening in the rest of the league. Their surprise relegation from the Premier League seems so far away now for the Pinks, doesn't it? Anyway, it might just be a point for the Pinks today, but it's still one point more to their name than at the start of the matchday. But Riuwiee United certainly won't be happy about dropping those two points because it means that their three-point gap to chasing Rosenpfelblatz City has now gone down to just one. Another side that won't be happy that they dropped two points is Arsenal de Releinthi. The Gunners looked like they had their away game against Locomotive Imgortur under control only for everything to fall apart in the final fifteen minutes with a brace from late Imgortur substitute Telegonos Xanthopoulos. Wanda Island Wanderers said "thank you very much" and slid into third place by virtue of their 1-0 win over Malabon SC. This fight for the Challengers' Cup places could turn very tasty indeed.

Oh, that's done it! That's done it! A new club is leading the Fleftic Premier League this season! Rosenpfelblatz City have managed to steal top spot from Riuwiee United! And it didn't look like they've actually done it until the end of the whole matchday! The Citizens always knew that playing against Ludogorets Markovsky was going to be difficult, even if the defending champions look anything but at the moment. This contest was back and forth, with Rosen City dominating the first half and Markovsky the second half, but both teams still managed to score one goal apiece in each half, resulting in the final 2-2 scoreline. Those must have seen like two massive points dropped in the title race for the Citizens, but then again, if they and their fans could have seen the future then they probably wouldn't have been so disappointed with this result. But after Riuwiee United lost 1-0 away to Xemlice Rovers, all of Rosen City's supporters are smiling as wide as their mouths will let them. Things are no less hectic in the Challengers' Cup places as Arsenal de Releinthi and Wanda Island Wanderers swap places yet again. This time it's the Wanderers who have slipped up, drawing 2-2 at home to Fleftic Army when they had lots of chances to take all three points, and now they've paid for their wastefulness. The Gunners themselves survived a sustained onslaught from Malabon SC to win 3-2 and retake third position from their rivals from across the Strait of Carrizozo. Considering that we are now at the halfway point of the season, this development could be very significant for the fate of the entire league.

So there it is. Rosenpfelblatz City have taken first place away from Riuwiee United after Riuwiee lost to Xemlice Rovers. Rosen City may have only gotten a point against Ludogorets Markovsky but that point is still enough to put the Citizens on level terms with the Blue Tribesmen, and the team in sky blue got the edge over the team from the capital by virtue of a better goal differential. That being said, it still looks like this title race is a two-horse race as there is a four-point gap between the two title protagonists and the rest of the league. The other Challengers' Cup places still look like they're going to go to Arsenal de Releinthi and Wanda Island Wanderers, but there are still some teams in the periphery looking to force their way in, teams such as Fleftic Air Force, Sporting Ceneisis, and defending champions Ludogorets Markovsky. Down at the wrong end of the table, Rosenpfelblatz North End is propping up everyone else, and one can't help but wonder what they're thinking given that they're at the bottom while their city rivals are on top of it all. Insert a purple man with multiple chins saying something about perfect balance being the natural state of things here. Thereisnogodistan may have been able to extricate themselves from the dogfight at the bottom but they're not out of the woods just yet. There's still plenty of time to fall right back into that sticky trap.

This is the round where all 20 clubs in the Fleftic Premier League as well as the 24 clubs in Unang Liga enters the fray in terms of the premier cup competition in the Democratic Republic, and usually there are at least one to two big FPL teams that bow out of the competition at this early stage as well. Sometimes, it’s at the hands of other FPL teams lower down the table, and other times it’s at the hands of lower leagues, making it true giant killings. And of course there are the times when two big clubs are drawn immediately against each other right out of the bat and one of them has to lose. Nothing like that happened in the third round of the 2034-35 SFA Cup though, although the first big scalp that was claimed was none other than Sporting Ceneisis. The winners of the 2033 edition were drawn away to Marinos Thimpodopoulos, and though the Mariners are struggling in the FPL right now, they still managed to find the time and effort to knock the Blues out of the cup. Perhaps they think that a cup run could spare them some blushes should the worst come to pass and they drop down to Unang Liga at the end of the season. Fans from the southern part of Ceneisis Province can’t celebrate too much though as their very own Admiral Porcusces were also knocked out of the cup by Locomotive Imgortur. Gyouza Young Lads also came close to claiming a massive scalp of their own as they pushed Rosenpfelblatz City all the way to 120 minutes, but Xavier Cleverton kept the Citizens’ cup hopes alive with a goal in the 111th minute. And our defending cup champions Pilken Kickers have made short work of Effelenendro FC to book their ticket into the fourth round and continue their defense of the tin idol.

Riuwiee United are determined to reclaim what they consider to be rightfully theirs after they were knocked off of their perch on top of the FPL table by Rosenpfelblatz City, and they’re willing to do it by any means necessary. If the Blue Tribesmen have to beat the Citizens through goal difference instead of points then so be it, and a resounding 3-1 victory over Rosenpfelblatz North End is definitely a step in the right direction. It’s definitely a step in the right direction as Rosen City could only win at home against Locomotive Imgortur by a 2-1 scoreline, but the Citizens are still on top of the pile courtesy of having scored more goals than their current opposition. Down in the Challengers’ Cup places, Arsenal de Releinthi have seemingly cemented their hold on third place after they had to come back not once, not twice, but three times against Rodrigues FC, at the same time that Wanda Island Wanderers could not find a way past the stern defense of Guildenstern Cardew and Sporting Ceneisis. The race for the final Challengers’ Cup place has now opened up as five teams are now in the picture, including the defending champions Ludogorets Markovsky. They’ve still got an outside shot of salvaging their season by claiming a place in international football, but whether they can actually do it is perhaps a different matter altogether.

And they’re back. Riuwiee United fans will surely be breathing a sigh of relief, not only because they had a close shave and almost dropped two points against Thereisnogodistan, but also because Rosenpfelblatz City actually dropped points against Arsenal de Releinthi. Riuwiee’s victory over the Atheists, combined with the Citizens being forced to share the spoils with the Gunners, means that the capital club are once again on top of the table, and with a two-point gap to boot. Speaking of Releinthi, the Gunners continue to drift away from the others fighting over the final Challengers’ Cup place as Wanda Island Wanderers lost yet again, and because of the Wanderers’ loss to Admiral Porcusces, a new contender for fourth place has appeared: Sarvusdalamoive. The club in pink have absolutely flown under the radar for almost the entirety of the current season, and only now that they’re in fourth place that people are beginning to take notice of them. But can the Pinks hang on to the fight, or will Wanda Island sneak their way back in there?

The first few matchdays of the second half of the 2034-35 season have been topsy-turvy, to say the least. Everyone was expecting Riuwiee United to keep hold of top spot coming into matchday 20, only for Rosenpfelblatz City to shock everyone and nab top spot for themselves. The Citizens hung on for two matchdays before the Blue Tribesmen reclaimed first place in the league, and now Riuwiee have dropped the ball once again thanks to a humbling 3-2 defeat away to Wanda Island Wanderers. Rosen City took note of this development and, once they had played and defeated Rodrigues FC 2-0 on the final game of the matchday, the Citizens said “thank you kindly” and took top spot yet again. How long will this back-and-forth continue before one side tires of it all and says, “Fuck this, I’m staying right here!”, one wonders? Speaking of Wanda Island, while they managed to play spoilsport to their rivals from across the Pigafetta Passage, those three points that they got still weren’t enough to propel them back into the Challengers’ Cup spots. Sarvusdalamoive holds on to the fourth and final place after beating Ludogorets Markovsky 3-2 while Arsenal de Releinthi continue to be in a league of their own in third place.

Oh, hello, now. Now things have actually gotten interesting and not just for the title race. Just a week after claiming top spot with a win over Rodrigues, Rosenpfelblatz City have been beaten by a Malabon SC side that, while they’re no longer in as much danger of getting relegated as the last time these two sides met, are still not quite out of the woods yet. Even then, the Ravens probably never expected that they would get any point out of this particular contest against the Citizens, let alone all three. But get those points they did, and now Rosen City are in jeopardy of losing first place yet again. So what does Riuwiee United do in this situation? No, of course not. That would be what everyone was expecting them to do. Maksim Shinkarenko always did love bringing some variety into football games, but there is a very high chance that losing at home to Fleftic Army when they had a golden opportunity to jump back into the top of the table is not the kind of variety that Blue Tribesmen fans would want at the moment. And now, because of all this squabbling over who should actually be on top of the Premier League, a new challenger has appeared in the form of Arsenal de Releinthi. The Gunners are no longer content with just running in their own league in third place; they’ve now thrown in their hat into the title race, and if their form continues to stay the way it is, it’s not inconceivable that the title will be returning to the red side of the Pigafetta Passage once again.

Or maybe not. Just as it was said that Arsenal de Releinthi had a chance of claiming their 12th league title as long as they maintained their form, they go ahead and lose to Sarvusdalamoive. There’s no shame in losing to the Sarvusdalamoive of today, but it does seem to show that the Pinks just wanted the three points and that Challengers’ Cup place more than the Gunners did the title. Oleg Mostovoi will surely want to have a long chat with his players after the game to talk about that. And this, combined with Riuwiee United conceding a late winner against Sporting Ceneisis, has given Rosenpfelblatz City the breathing room that they need to maintain their grasp on first place. And, to nobody’s surprise, Wanda Island Wanderers are back in fourth place. Same old story, different matchday, as the saying goes.

So there we have it. Despite going through what was described as a “topsy-turvy” first few weeks in the second half of the 2034-35 season, it appears that Rosenpfelblatz City have weathered the storm, for the moment. The Citizens are on top of the Fleftic Premier League with four points to spare over their nearest rivals. Riuwiee United are still in second place, but their hold on it is not as secure as it once was because Arsenal de Releinthi have come out of nowhere to throw their hat into the title race. Still, any mistake from either of these teams could see them fall out of contention altogether, something that will probably please Rosen City fans the most. The fight for the final Challengers’ Cup place still goes on, and while Wanda Island Wanderers once again hold the final slot into international football, they’ve got a right pack of baying hounds at their heels just waiting for the chance to strike.

Down at the foot of the table, Rosenpfelblatz North End have seemingly resigned themselves to the inevitable, and while their presence in the top flight will most certainly be missed, the fact that the Acolytes don’t even look like bothering to put in the effort to stay up leaves some more than concerned about their chances of bouncing back. Electric Yugal look like they’re also destined for a quick return to Unang Liga after having won the title there and promotion the previous season. And at the moment, it looks like Marinos Thimpodopoulos are the third club at risk of relegation. They’ve survived it before, even if they had to sell some players to lift themselves back into the top flight, but there’s a feeling that the Mariners don’t want to do any of that just yet.

Fans of Pilken Kickers will be sad to see that their team could not continue on from their miracle run to the SFA Cup last season as the Kickers fell in the fourth round against relegation-threatened Marinos Thimpodopoulos. All those jokes about the Mariners focusing on a cup run to distract themselves and their fans from possible relegation are slowly but surely being taken more seriously than before, that’s for sure. At least the team from Dav Province could leave Arena Marinos with their heads held high, knowing that they did their absolute and utmost best to continue the Cinderella story that has gripped the nation since the second half of last season. But aside from the defending cup champions, no other major scalp was claimed this round, although All-Inclusive Haranguer did come tantalizingly close to evicting Rosenpfelblatz City from the competition. Like Marinos versus Pilken, the contest between Rosen City and Haranguer went all the way to penalties, and the Sand Tigers looked like they had an actual chance until Valerie Aguirre skied her spot kick in the third round of penalties. And both Wanda Island Wanderers and Arsenal de Releinthi really did their utmost best to make sure that there would be no upsets in store for them, at least in the fourth round. You have to feel for the fans of both Bartunna United and Mertano & Mertayev though. Their clubs did what they could, but the tide was simply too strong for them to hold back. Maybe next season though, they might have a better chance? Who really knows?

If Marinos Thimpodopoulos are really determined to distract their fans from the possibility of relegation then winning against Rosenpfelblatz City in the Premier League is much better than beating Pilken Kickers on penalties in the SFA Cup. The league is a much more tangible prospect for fans, hence why a lot of teams are so determined to remain in it no matter the cost. And the win did its job as far as Mariners fans are concerned; the Fhulghamousian club is currently out of the relegation zone, but only by a point. That being said, the defeat was much costlier to Rosen City since it now allows their title rivals to close in on their position. Riuwiee United and Arsenal de Releinthi are now just one point shy of first place in the league thanks to 1-0 victories over Admiral Porcusces and Xemlice Rovers, respectively. And now even Wanda Island Wanderers look like they want to dip their toes into this title fight as well. Forget about a two-horse race; the fight for both the Champions League and Challengers’ Cup places has become a free-for-all!

And here it is, the moment that Riuwiee United fans have all been waiting for. They’re finally back on top of the Fleftic Premier League. Poor Malabon SC had to be sacrificed in order to boost the Blue Tribesmen’s title hopes, but it’s nothing personal for the club from the capital of the Democratic Republic. It’s all part of the business of fighting for the right to be called the best football club in Abanhfleft. And Arsenal de Releinthi are now in second place as well despite Rosenpfelblatz North End’s best efforts to keep them out of the net, but there are times where a team just cannot deny the talent of one Marcus Tabarez, and this was one of those times. But in all honesty, Rosenpfelblatz City have nobody to blame but themselves for this one. They were the ones that went down 3-0 in the first half to Sarvusdalamoive, not Riuwiee or Releinthi. And Rosen City were the ones that couldn’t score four goals in the second half even though they have shown that they have the ability to do so in previous seasons. If they lose the title, this will probably be the moment where it could be said that the Citizens lost it.

Would it be fair to say that Rosenpfelblatz City’s title challenge is now dead in the water? How else could one explain the sudden fall from grace that the Citizens have suffered in the league? For a few brief moments, they looked like they were on top of the world, and now they’re barely keeping up with the race for top four. Xemlice Rovers were always going to be a tough opponent, but the Citizens have usually had a lot of joy playing against the Gamekeepers, whether at home or away. But this was not going to be one of those times as the normally potent Rosen City front line seemingly couldn’t find the back of the net despite their best efforts, and they were made to pay for their flagrancy by a bullet header from Ewald Schwinghammer. Riuwiee United and Arsenal de Releinthi continue to maintain their pace while at the same time pulling away from the rest of the league. Maybe we are back to this being a two-horse race. Oh well. It was much more enjoyable when it looked like four clubs actually had a chance at the title, but another battle between Riuwiee and Releinthi will have to do.

The Strait of Carrizozo derby between Arsenal de Releinthi and Wanda Island Wanderers had always seemed like it had a lot of implications in the title race in recent seasons, and this one is no exception. Winning one such derby is usually a source of jubilation and celebration for either side, especially when those three points are also a benefit to that club’s title challenge. Wanda Island had already won at Releinthi’s home ground, and they were looking to repeat the favor at their place. But that wasn’t what happened. Releinthi knew that this was the best chance that they had to win their 12th Fleftic Premier League title, and with Riuwiee United having already played their way to a 1-1 draw with Fleftic Air Force, only a win would be enough to propel them to the top of the league. And that was exactly what the Gunners did, win against Wanda Island. Young Oliver Thornton scored the one and only goal of the game in the 56th minute, and the Gunners held on despite sustained pressure from the Wanderers to take first place in the Fleftic Premier League for the first time this season. Now, once again the question that must be asked of Releinthi is whether they can hang on in there or if they will let Riuwiee or Releinthi or, God forbid, Wanda Island to sneak up on them and snatch the title from under their noses.

Riuwiee United attempt to get their title campaign back on track once again, and while they're definitely going about it the right way, it all won't mean a damn thing when Arsenal de Releinthi are also winning their games. Premier League analysts have always said that whoever has the better form across the last few matchdays will have a better chance of winning the title, and so far it looks like Releinthi have the better form. And the Gunners look like they're also trying to pad their stats in order to keep as many possible tiebreakers in their favor as they could, but even then, it's still a remarkable feat for the Gunners to score four goals against Fleftic Army, a side known for their ability to tank a lot of shots on goal (pun very much intended). Rosenpfelblatz City also reminded people that they were still in with a chance for the title with a 6-2 drubbing of Thereisnogodistan. The Citizens may be down in the Challengers' Cup places, but they are most certainly not out of the title race just yet. And even Locomotive Imgortur have popped up to say that they would like to play their own part in the neverending chase for international football, and what a way to mark it as well: a dominant 3-1 victory over Sporting Ceneisis. The Challengers' Cup is slowly slipping out of the Blues' grasp, and if they want to get back in there then Josiah Buba and his men have their work cut out for them.

A new team leads the Fleftic Premier League at the end of Matchday 29, but it's a team that has been at the top a fair few times already. Arsenal de Releinthi are on top of the FPL for the first time this season, but their position is just as tenuous as it was when both Riuwiee United and Rosenpfelblatz City were on top as well. The Blue Tribesmen are still within arm's reach of the top spot though; all they need is for Releinthi to start drawing or even losing some of their games, or else the Gunners could be well and truly untouchable. Rosenpfelblatz City are six points back but they're still a credible threat should both Releinthi and Riuwiee slip up, and Locomotive Imgortur could fancy their chances if the stars line up properly for them. The title may be nothing more than a pipe dream for Wanda Island Wanderers now, but even though they're in fifth place right now, they're still very much in the hunt for a place in the Challengers' Cup. Sporting Ceneisis, Sarvusdalamoive, Fleftic Air Force, and even Ludogorets Markovsky are on the outside looking in, but these are the teams that will only get into contention if one of the top teams experiences an absolute implosion, and that doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.

Both Admiral Porcusces and Malabon SC now look like they're safe in midtable after a relegation scare early in the season, and both clubs will have to start planning ahead in order to stop that from happening again. The teams in actual danger of dropping down to the second tier are, unsurprisingly, Rosenpfelblatz North End, Electric Yugal, and Antslinngs Islands. Rosen North sure did ride their luck as best as they could, but it looks like their luck has finally run out this season. Electric Yugal will feel sad that they weren't able to extend their stay in the top flight, but shrewd investment in the transfer market should see them back in the Premier League soon enough. As for Antslinngs Islands, they may have had a good start to the season but they've allowed their momentum to peter off too early, and now the Islanders look like they're about to pay the price for it.

Time to return to SFA Cup action where, sadly, it looks like the magic of the cup is well and truly dead. Five sides from the lower leagues had made it as far as the fifth round of the current edition of the SFA Cup, and at the end of the round, none of these lower league teams have made it through. No upsets, no giant killings, just Fleftic Premier League behemoths doing their business like they’ve always done before. The closest that any of these sides came to claiming a massive scalp was when Athletic Motonou scored a first minute goal against Arsenal de Releinthi, but Oleg Mostovoi and his men showed why they were leading the FPL at this moment with an impressive display of their attacking quality, and soon what had begun as a 1-0 lead for Motonou had become a 3-1 result in favor of the Gunners, and eventually it would end 5-3 for the club from the largest city in the country. Antslinngs Islands, though they were still an FPL club at the time of writing, almost had a chance to knock Ludogorets Markovsky out of the cup, but they couldn’t deny Ermolai Ermolaieff for all of 120 minutes. And that is the story of how eight teams from the FPL made it through to the quarterfinals of the SFA Cup. Watch viewership rates hit the floor because of this development.

As the old saying goes, “if I can’t have it then nobody can!” That appears to be the mentality in Sporting Ceneisis when they played host to league leaders Arsenal de Releinthi on matchday 30. It also probably helps that there’s a history of bad blood between the clubs dating back to the days of Artemio Peres and Godric Wexler, thus making it easy for Blues players to get into the proper frame of mind to potentially deny the Gunners the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table. The result was an exciting and end-to-end game that ended as a nine-goal thriller that would excite neutrals and make both the Blues and the Blue Tribesmen very happy. In fact, only fans of the Releinthi-based club would be mad at this result, not only because it resulted in Arsenal de Releinthi dropping out of the lead in favor of Riuwiee United but also because it exposed potential weak spots in Oleg Mostovoi’s team and strategy. He’ll have his work cut out for him if he wants to regain his hold on the Premier League title.

At least they’re back to winning ways. But all those defeats in the most important moments really look like they’re going to bite Arsenal de Releinthi in the ass big time. Perhaps the only question that should be asked is how far the Gunners will be from the Blue Tribesmen at the end of the season? Then again, who knows? Riuwiee have also slipped up before, and Rosenpfelblatz City took full advantage of that for however brief a time they actually did. But even then, Releinthi still have a pretty big hill to climb, and not just in terms of points. The Gunners have to find a way to score at least nine goals if they wish to overtake the Blue Tribesmen on points. It’s not an impossible task, but it could still prove unfeasible if Riuwiee continue scoring this many goals at this rate for a sustained period. And speaking of Rosen City, perhaps now it’s fair to say that their title ambitions are over yet again. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted, at least as far as Citizens fans are concerned.

This is it. This is perhaps the most important Capital Islands derby of the decade. The fate of the title could lie entirely in the result of this one particular game. Everything else is secondary to the main show; all everyone wants to know right now is who will emerge triumphant between Riuwiee United and Arsenal de Releinthi. And lo and behold, it is the Gunners who have emerged with all three points in the bag and looking like they’ve now taken pole position in the race for the Fleftic Premier League title. The Gunners haven’t had much luck in this particular fixture until recently, and both Oleg Mostovoi and Maksim Shinkarenko still have memories of fighting it out on the pitch. Surely they must have instilled that fighting spirit into their men to get them into the proper mood, and it could be said that both managers instilled a little too much fighting spirit as both teams got one man each sent off (Ulli Kuhlmann for Riuwiee and Edward Martinez for Releinthi) from this game. But once again it was Marcus Tabarez who proved to be the difference for Releinthi; his 84th minute goal from outside the box gave the Gunners the edge over their rivals in blue right in front of 80,000 Riuwiee fans. Now the onus is once again on Releinthi to maintain their lead to the end of the season.

It is once again time to turn our attention back to the SFA Cup for a brief moment. The quarterfinals are upon us, and it’s fair to say that there isn’t a lot of matchups that neutrals will be looking forward to watching since there are no more lower league teams looking to do a similar run to the cup final that Pilken Kickers did last season. This time it’s an all-Premier League affair in the quarterfinals. That wasn’t to say that there weren’t some surprises in store still in this competition. Wanda Island Wanderers managed to hold Rosenpfelblatz City scoreless for 90 minutes before Yonatan Ochoa scored in the first minute of the extra thirty to knock the Citizens out of the cup. Fleftic Army were almost able to do one better as they pushed Riuwiee United all the way to penalties, but that didn’t end the way the Army Club thought it would as the Blue Tribesmen beat them 4-2 from the spot. Arsenal de Releinthi survived the pressure from Ludogorets Markovsky for all of 90 minutes, and who else but Marcus Tabarez would come up with the winning goal for the Gunners as well? The only two teams left that could make an actual impact on the rest of the remaining sides, Marinos Thimpodopoulos and Sarvusdalamoive, have been drawn against each other in the quarterfinals, and it looks like Marinos’ cup run is continuing even though they’ve managed to escape the specter of relegation for the moment. But can they actually pull it off? Can the Mariners beat the likes of Riuwiee United, Wanda Island Wanderers, and Arsenal de Releinthi and lift the SFA Cup for the first time ever? Nice question, but we’ll have to discover the answer to that later.

Once again, it was good while it lasted. This battle for the Premier League title in the 2034-35 season really looks like it could come down to who has the better mentality and who could maintain better form through the last five matchdays of the season. But it just seems so typical of Arsenal de Releinthi to win against Riuwiee United and then lose against the likes of Paulsen on the very next matchday. And with the Blue Tribesmen also winning against Rodrigues FC, Riuwiee have taken top spot in the league once again, and now they’ll be determined to keep themselves there no matter what. Easier said than done though, considering the dips in form the Blue Tribesmen seem to suffer every three matchdays or so. And at this late stage in the game, it would seem that everything else has settled down, even the fight for the Challengers’ Cup places. Only the title is left to be decided, and we’ve still got five matchdays to go. This is going to be an exciting run-in to the end of the season if things keep on going the way they’ve gone this season.

The stage looks set for what looks to be an exciting end to the 2034-35 Fleftic Premier League season. Rosenpfelblatz City are no longer in the title race, having been replaced by Arsenal de Releinthi in the chase for the championship alongside Riuwiee United. Wanda Island Wanderers have now taken over third place while Rosen City currently occupy fourth. Sporting Ceneisis, Locomotive Imgortur, and Sarvusdalamoive still maybe have a shadow of a chance, but don’t count of them making it unless either the Wanderers or the Citizens absolutely muck it all up. Fat chance of that happening! And it looks like we’re going to have to say goodbye to Electric Yugal, Rosenpfelblatz North End, and Antslinngs Islands for next season. It was nice knowing you all, but it’s time to take a step down and let others take your place. Maybe they’ll actually hang around the top flight for more than two seasons.

Riuwiee United really had a golden chance to consolidate their grip at the top of the Fleftic Premier League after Arsenal de Releinthi were only able to claim one point against Fleftic Air Force away from home. The Gunners dropped the ball against the Airmen at the Villahermosa Memorial Stadium, falling to a 3-3 draw after taking a 2-0 lead at half-time and then extending that to 3 goals just six minutes into the second half. Releinthi should have seen out this game to maybe reclaim top spot in the FPL, but the players simply switched off, and Fleftic Air Force, led by Amado Ferrer, came back to snatch a point from the Gunners and deny them the two more that they would have wanted to bring them back up to the top of the table. But then again, Riuwiee's opponents are Rosenpfelblatz City, and the Citizens are not about to just show their belly to the Blue Tribesmen just because Rosenpfelblatz are out of the title picture. The Citizens even took the lead twice over the Blue Tribesmen, once near the start of the game and then the second time near the end, only for Riuwiee to score a last minute equalizer to score the point that keeps them on top of Releinthi in the table (even if their goal differential would have done pretty much the same job). Meanwhile, at the bottom of the league, it's looking less and less likely that any one of Antslinngs Islands, Electric Yugal, or Rosenpfelblatz North End would be able to escape relegation. It could still happen, of course, but it's definitely looking less and less likely with every passing matchday.

On matchday 35, both Riuwiee United and Arsenal de Releinthi did what they were expected to do, which was to win their respective games in order to keep the title picture interesting. The Blue Tribesmen were up first, going away to relegation-threatened Antslinngs Islands, and though the Islanders did their utmost best to frustrate the visitors and claim at least one point for themselves to keep their hopes of staying in the top flight alive, Ramadan Ibrahim came on from the bench and found the top bins in the 85th minute to give all three points to the Blue Tribesmen. And then, in the Sunday night game, it was Releinthi's turn to continue keeping up the pace with Riuwiee, and up against another side fighting the drop in Electric Yugal. But for all of the Bolts' hopes of trying to throw a spanner in the works that was Releinthi's renewed title campaign, the Gunners made short work of Yugal thanks to goals from Marcus Tabarez and Edgar Smith-Fernandez. And because of these losses, Yugal and Rosen North are the first two sides confirmed to be going back down to Unang Liga next season. As things stand, it looks like Antslinngs Islands are also going to follow them down, but maybe there's still time for the Islanders to go on a run of three wins and score enough goals to improve their goal difference compared to Fleftic Army. But it's a tough ask, and the Army Club also must lose all of remaining games to give Antslinngs a chance to stay in the Premier League. Antslinngs fans, don't hold your breath at the thought of a great escape just yet.

With Riuwiee United still taking part in the SFA Cup, a new neutral stadium had to be selected to play host to the remaining SFA Cup fixtures, namely both the semifinals and the final itself. For this, Sporting Ceneisis' Throckmorton Bridge was selected as the site for the semifinals and final of the 2034-35 SFA Cup, and the four teams still in the competition made the journey to Mereilles to fight it out for the right to lift that tin idol. The Carrizozo Strait derby is being played out in the first semifinal, with Arsenal de Releinthi being drawn as the home team during the advanced draw in the quarterfinals. However, despite the best wishes of both sets of fans, this game turned out to be not the most exciting of them all, possibly because neither team probably really wants to go forward to the final and play one more game in their already packed schedule. But try telling that to the fans. All they want is silverware, silverware, and more silverware. And for Wanderers fans, Sebastian Wilczkowski just handed them a ticket to the SFA Cup Final after coming off the bench and scoring an 80th minute strike. Wanda Island fans finally have something over their Releinthi rivals, but while those who support the Gunners will be a bit salty about losing out on a potential double, at least they're still in the running for the Premier League title so they have that to lord over their Wanda Island rivals.

In the other semifinal, Marinos Thimpodopoulos are up against the capital club, Riuwiee United. Marinos initially appeared to be at a disadvantage because they were the team who had to travel the farthest distance to reach Mereilles, which is almost literally on the other side of Abanhfleft as far as the Fhulghamous Peninsula club is concerned. However, despite the distances involved (or perhaps because of it), the Mariners actually took an early lead over the Blue Tribesmen thanks to a Gregorio Macasarang free kick. Marinos then proceeded to defend the heck out of their half of the pitch for the rest of the first half and the first fifteen minutes of the second, because it was at that point in time that Maksim Shinkarenko unveiled his secret weapon: Elmo Bevan. Shinky subbed on Bevan in the 61st minute, and within minutes he had equalized for the Blue Tribesmen, and then Bevan was now leading the effort to turn the tie in favor of the capital club and book their place in the final against Wanda Island. But Bevan wouldn't actually play a part in the goal that would do just that; instead he was just a spectator as Ramadan Ibrahim forced a corner out of the Marinos goalkeeper, and when Ibrahim swung in that corner in just the right place for Masakazu Chiba to score the header. The stage for the 2035 SFA Cup Final is now set, and the protagonists have been revealed as Wanda Island Wanderers and Riuwiee United. It's not quite the Capital Islands derby that everyone wants to see, but for fans of both Riuwiee and Wanda Island, it will have to do.

Arsenal de Releinthi have barely had enough time to recover from the blow of getting knocked out of the SFA Cup before they have go back in action in the FPL, and of course they had an away trip to Ludogorets Markovsky next on their calendar following their semifinal loss against Wanda Island Wanderers. The Stadium of the Old Forester is always going to be a tough place for any team to go to no matter their status in the Premier League, whether they are title contenders or relegation battlers or even just mid-table teams. The Gunners had also already lost to the Foresters once this season, and at their home ground as well, so what was already a tricky fixture to begin with just got even trickier. Things didn't get any easier after Ermolay Ermolaieff scored the opening goal in the 7th minute, and Releinthi really looked like they were on course to losing ground in the title race. But the Gunners turned it around in the second half, and once again it was Marcus Tabarez leading the charge for Releinthi, scoring the equalizer and then assisting Nikita Chernenko for the game winning goal in the 68th minute. But for all of Releinthi's effort, Riuwiee United reclaimed their place at the top of the heap with a routine 3-1 victory over Marinos Thimpodopoulos. And while Antslinngs Islands have managed to stave off the drop for one more matchday, their odds of surviving are still very slim at best. Not only do the Islanders need to win both of their remaining games, but they have to score at least 10 goals to ensure survival, and with their next two opponents being Fleftic Air Force and Electric Yugal, a return to Unang Liga might be more inevitable than Antslinngs fans would believe.

It looks like the time stream has finally been normalized somewhat, at least to the level that passes for normal in this multiverse that we now live in. The 2033-34 FBA season came and went, and it finished just in time for the winners of the FBA championship and two other teams considered as the "best of the rest" to take part in the 25th IUBC Trophy. No more time-shifting shenanigans for the Fleftics this time around! What a relief. Anyway, here are the representatives of the Democratic Republic of Abanhfleft for the 25th IUBC Trophy.

It was a season of highs, it was a season of lows. The highs were very high, and the lows were as low as you could get without actually drilling into the core of this planet. If the fans of the Jasvirabad Jazz could just take a science fiction amnesia-inducing device to the whole of the country then they would have done so already. And they can't even pin this on their team trying to tank for better draft picks for next season; this very same team last season did fight back harder to scrap some wins from their opponents. This present Jazz team is just a stain on the sport of basketball in general and in Abanhfleft in particular. It is sad though that this team which used to be an occasional playoff contender only a few years go has been reduced to holding the worst ever regular season record in the history of the FBA. Like, it's just bad on every possible level. From the raw numbers to the win percentage to everything else, this is a record that won't get broken anytime soon, much to the shame of Jasvirabad fans.

But speaking of highs, there is possibly no fanbase better suited to talking about that than that of the Wanda Island Wizards. A lot of people thought that it was never going to get better than the 71-11 regular season record that Effelenendro, Mereilles, and Uranium City had just two seasons ago, but as it turned out, it actually could. Mereilles and Haritzaga were able to match that record this season, but four teams actually managed to one-up them, and those teams are Mykorrigan, Tentenaraya, Effelenendro, and Wanda Island. It's a very good time to be a fan of those four teams, but none more so than Wanda Island, who have never been the best team in the FBA regular season since before the new millennium. Yes, it's been that long since the Wizards took the top seed in the regular season. And one would think that that would set the Wizards up for another good run at the championship, but there are fifteen other teams standing in their way. Will the Wizards cap off their record-breaking season with a ring, or will someone else spoil their party? As always, there is only one way to find out.

The fans didn't get any blowouts in the first round of the playoffs like the first time that the FBA switched to Kalactinian rules basketball, but if the blowouts weren't happening in the games themselves then it was most certainly happening in the series themselves. Only the series between fourth seed Pilken and fifth seed Sfax went longer than the four games necessary for a team to win a playoff series, and even then it only went as far as Game 5 before Pilken reasserted their dominance over the Scream and dumped the team from the southern Fhulghamous. Then again, people would have expected the likes of Effelenendro and Mykorrigan to sweep their respective series against Malhall and Zimp, but the real surprise is the fact that Haritzaga also swept Dorfdifving in their series. That one was unexpected because Dorfdifving are not known for being pushovers, especially during the playoffs. They're not usually expected to further than the conference finals, but the Steel are like their namesakes: they don't bend or break for just anybody. But Haritzaga appear to be on a mission, and that mission is to win an FBA championship, and they'll be damned if they let some team from Dorfdifving deny them a title.

It's pretty much the same story in the Southern Conference as it is in the Northern Conference. Pretty much every single top seed was able to sweep their respective playoff series in the first round with the most notable exception of a certain team from Fleftic Antarctica. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Uranium City Nukes have been eliminated in the first round of the FBA playoffs for the first time since 2018! Now, how could such a thing come to pass? It would be easy, almost too easy, to point the finger of blame on Jazz Higgs' injury, but that would be telling only part of the story. Even though Higgs had been sidelined for much of this campaign, the Nukes still managed to pull off a reasonable regular season campaign as Uranium City's supporting cast was able to pick up the slack from their injured leader. But when it came to the playoffs, though the Nukes were able to take Game 1, the Wappinger Steam went on a charge in the next four games and showed the rest of the FBA that the giants of Uranium City were not so infallible after all.

Finally, a little bit more action in the conference semifinals. Shame it had to take people this long to get some action, and even then, they almost got cheated out of it with the speed with which the defending FBA champions Effelenendro Piranhas swept aside the challenge of the Pilken Mammoths. Now, technically speaking, the Piranhas didn't sweep Pilken because they won the series 4-1 instead of 4-0 like an actual playoff sweep would imply, but taking five games to do the dirty work is still quick in terms of sports. It's like Pilken didn't even have time to savor the fact that they made it to the conference semis before Effelenendro literally shoved them out of the door. But that's not the real surprise in the Northern Conference semifinals. No, that honor goes to the Mykorrigan MonStars, who have done the seemingly impossible and eliminated Real Haritzaga Baloncesto from the playoffs. Sure, it was a much tighter contest than the one between Effelenendro and Pilken, and it went to six games instead of five, but still, it's Mykorrigan eliminating Haritzaga! That doesn't happen all the time! It's a very rare occurrence. And yet it happened this season. Is the era of Haritzaga's dominance also coming to an end? Will the FBA finally see a new set of teams dominate it in the near future? Perhaps. Or perhaps it's still too early to speak about things like these.

Now we truly have the action and excitement that the FBA playoffs has always promised to its fans before this season. Now the teams are truly fighting to prove that they are deserving not only of a place in the Southern Conference Finals but also the FBA Championship itself. Finally, there are close battles between the teams fighting it out for the right to fight for the Southern Conference Championship. And because of this, it's hard to tell who should actually go through and who should have to go home because, frankly speaking, all four teams will have been worthy contenders if they made it through. But only two teams can make it through to the next round, and is it really any mystery that it's the two teams that have championship pedigree that actually made it? Both Wanda Island and Mereilles have won titles before, and after making it past the Wappinger Steam and the Tentenaraya Thunder respectively, the Southern Conference Finals is going to be Wizards versus Port Boys. It's going to be a series for the ages.

Now this is truly a surprising development that nobody expected to see, at least as far as the Northern Conference is concerned. Defending champions Effelenendro Piranhas versus the perennially unlucky Mykorrigan MonStars. Much as people love a good old Cinderella story, there were just some times when the favorite really looked like they were going to put an end to the underdogs' fairy tale run, and this season's Northern Conference Finals looked like it was going to be one of those things. But the MonStars had other ideas. They had had enough of always being the bridesmaid and never the bride. They don't want to wait for next season to fight for that ring anymore. They want that ring now, and they don't care who's in their way, not even if it's the defending FBA champions. And for their part, the Piranhas didn't know what hit them. They were probably expecting another easy series like the ones they've had previously this season, but this is where that long, long gap between their FBA rings has affected them negatively. They've taken being champions for granted now, and now it's bit them where the sun doesn't shine. Too bad, too. Effelenendro really looked like they had what it takes to defend their title.

And all of this has overshadowed the absolute display of basketball skill and nous over in the Southern Conference, with the Wizards of Wanda Island locking horns with the Port Boys of Mereilles. The players were sure to attract a lot of attention in this series, but what everyone was really looking forward to in this series was the matchup between Byron Pillman and Hayden Dorola. These two coaches were among those who were said to have some of the highest basketball IQ in the history of the sport in Abanhfleft, and fans looked forward to how they were going to how they were going to approach this series, and how they were going to set up their teams to approach and contain their opponents. This had all the appearance of two boxers trading punches across all twelve rounds, and both Pillman and Dorola certainly lived up to the fans' expectations. Wanda Island got the first two games of the series at their home court before the tables were turned with Mereilles. Wanda Island took Game Five, and then, when everyone was expecting that Mereilles would win Game Six on their home turf, Byron Pillman surprised everyone and snatched Game Six and the Southern Conference Championship, thus booking the Wizards' first FBA Finals appearance in six years.

Mykorrigan MonStars wins the 2033-34 FBA Finals 4-1

Once again, sixteen teams have been whittled down to just two. One team comes from the north, and another from the south, although technically speaking, Wanda Island lies right in the middle of the nation by virtue of being one of the seven Capital Islands of Abanhfleft. At least Mykorrigan could actually claim to be located close to the geographical north of the country. But geography isn't what's going to settle this; rather, it's basketball. And in those terms, the MonStars certainly have a mountain to climb as they have to contend with not only the Wizards' stacked roster but also the coaching mastermind known as Byron Pillman. For their part, Mykorrigan did have a perfectly acceptable head coach in the form of Omar Sulaiman, who did have that playoff pedigree going for him, but as far as actually winning rings go, Sulaiman is practically an unproven talent. The odds were definitely not in Mykorrigan's favor, no matter which way one looked at it.

And yet the fans continued to believe. The players continued to believe. Coach Sulaiman continued to believe. And, as it would turn out, belief could actually trump tactics, strategy, and skill, at least as far as this particular FBA Finals was concerned. No matter what Wanda Island did, Mykorrigan always seemed to be at least a step ahead of their opponents. And though the Wizards managed to win Game Four (which frankly was a surprise even for them), the team from the Capital Islands could not stop the MonStars from completing the gentleman's sweep and claiming their first ever FBA championship. Now the MonStars are the team to watch, and a question that will certainly be asked throughout next season is if Mykorrigan can do it all over again, or if this was one of those "catching lightning in a bottle" moments where everything was just right for the MonStars to create history in 2034.

It would appear that the time stream had gotten a bit wibbly-wobbly once again as the four best teams of the 2033-34 season of the Fleftic National Ice Hockey League (FNIHL) found themselves entering the 23rd Hockey Champions League and not the 22nd edition of said tournament as they had expected. But this was of little consequence to those four teams in the end as they had still filed the proper paperwork in order to be included into this edition. Or at least that was the hope. The Abanhfleft Ice Hockey Federation do love to leave these things late and almost down to the wire. But enough waffling about. Nothing much has really changed in the FNIHL in between the 2032-33 and 2033-34 seasons, it seems. The strongest teams didn’t get weakened all that much, and the teams who aren’t necessarily the best but still have a chance of making deep playoff runs have managed to hang on to their star players for the most part. The Aliens of Port Thimpodopoulos and the Gorillas of Suwkpel (who also happen to be the defending Bixbee Cup champions) are still the frontrunners for the championship, but two teams have shocked the rest of the league by throwing their names into the ring for the championship fight, namely the Wadim-ti Force and the Porcusces Bucks. The Bucks themselves surprised everyone by taking the top seed in the Eastern Conference and snatching it from underneath the noses of the Gorillas, but considering that Porcusces have been in and out of the playoffs for a few seasons already, is it really any surprise that they’ve decided that they’ve had enough of playing second fiddle to Suwkpel in the East and have decided to take things into their own hands and give themselves the greatest possible chance of nabbing that big silver cup and putting it into their trophy case? Many neutral fans will surely be pulling for the Bucks to win the title, if only to break up the dynasty that the Gorillas are starting to establish in Abanhfleft’s premier ice hockey competition.

The arrival of the Wadim-ti Force into the playoffs scene is a bit more surprising though. While the team from Jacaga Province have been in and out of the playoffs ever since the FNIHL became a member association of the Hockey Champions, they have never been able to go further than the conference semifinals in the Bixbee Cup playoffs. They’ve always been the kind of team that people unfortunately view as “field filler,” the kind of team that only barely scrapes into the playoffs and is expected to get swept in the first round. Last season was a bit different for the Force though as they secured the fifth seed and played out a tough series that went all the way against the Mykorrigan Dust Devils, showing that the building blocks for a potential title challenger were now there. Now, after executing some shrewd trades and picking up some veteran free agents to provide experience and leadership in the locker room, Wadim-ti looked poised to actually take the fight to Port Thim. But as usual, there are six other teams in the West that also want a shot at dethroning the Aliens, much like how there are seven teams gunning to overthrow the Gorillas in the East. But who will actually make it out on top of the heap? Nobody knows, and that’s why this is one of the most exciting FNIHL playoffs, if not the most exciting, in recent history.

The first round of the 2033-34 Bixbee Cup playoffs in the Western Conference was a bit of a lopsided affair, and that’s putting it mildly. Three out of the four series in the West ended in a straight sweep, and the only series that took more than four games to be settled was the one between the Zzimmonnttogg Direwolves and the Marble Arch Cavalry, which is perhaps not that surprising given that they are the fourth and fifth seeds in the West. What is surprising is the fact that the Direwolves, two-time Bixbee Cup champions, are as low as fourth in the playoff seedings, but even then, they were expected to sweep the Cavalry since, well, let’s face it, Marble Arch weren’t really expected to get very far into the playoffs. But that didn’t mean that they were going to go down without a fight. On the contrary, it was because they were expected to be one of the first casualties of the 2034 playoffs that Marble Arch decided that if they were going to go out, they might as well go out with a bang. For those fans of high-octane games with lots of action and lots of goals then the Zzimmonnttogg-Marble Arch series was the one for them. Not to take away from any of the other series in the West, or any other series in the playoffs, but there was just something in the air in both Zzimmonnttogg and Marble Arch that made both teams go all out and all in even if it was just the first round of the playoffs. If only every other playoff series could be like this, but alas, that is a bridge too far, or so the saying goes.

There’s not much left to talk about with the rest of the first round in the West. Port Thim swept aside the Releinthi Deathsticks with ease, the Wadim-ti Force took care of the Markovsky Berserkers, and the Besanza Basques breezed past Mykorrigan… wait, what? The sixth seed Besanza Basques swept the Dust Devils? Yes, they did. And it’s actually not that surprising given the context of the bigger picture. The Basques have been knocking on the door of the Bixbee Cup and would have already won at least once without both Port Thim and Suwkpel in the picture, but alas, that’s the way the cookie crumbles. The real surprise for Besanza this season is the fact that they’ve fallen all the way down to the sixth seed, but to give them their due credit, the Basques didn’t care that they were the worse seed against Mykorrigan and proceeded to open a can of whoop-ass on the unfortunate Dust Devils, who look like they still don’t know what hit them. Again, that’s the way the cookie crumbles, but this time, Besanza are determined to making sure that the cookie crumbles in their favor from now on. But that could be easier said than done given all of the other teams still in the running for the Bixbee Cup. Remember that the path to silverware is not as straightforward as it looks.

There’s just no trying to get around it anymore. The Eastern Conference is the more exciting conference in the FNIHL, for this season’s playoffs at least. The situation in the East is almost the inverse of the one in the West, with only one series in the first round ending in a sweep, and it’s the team whom you would expect to sweep a first round series that did it anyway. And while only one series went all the way in the East, all the other series were highly competitive even if the scores didn’t reflect this. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. The Lotharstadt Jaegers used to be one of the teams in the FNIHL, one of the most successful franchises in the league with over 15 Bixbee Cup victories to their name. Alas, those victories have become harder and harder to come by for the Jaegers, and it certainly hasn’t been helped at all by the rise of the likes of Suwkpel and Antslinngs City up the ranks to become the dominant force in the Eastern Conference by the time the FNIHL joined the Hockey Champions League. That additional revenue and income from participating in the HCL is also boosting the teams that actually get there, and it’s beginning to show to the rest of the league. How else to explain why the likes of Suwkpel and Port Thim have been able to hang on to their star players and, in some cases, offer them even bigger contracts than would be possible with only the revenue stream from within Abanhfleft itself? Such is the conundrum with international competitions involving any sport: teams that make it to such international competitions tend to stay the same, even in closed systems like the FNIHL where parity could sometimes be forced upon another team.

Such matters appear to be the furthest thing in the minds of the fans of the other teams in the playoffs, who look like they’re more than happy just to be watching playoff hockey on what is becoming a regular basis. That being said, the Porcusces Bucks are the perfect example of a team operating within the limitations that the arrival of international hockey had imposed upon Abanhfleft, limitations that may not be overt but are still there for those who look in the right places. As mentioned before, the Bucks made their way to the top seed in the Eastern Conference by way of some clever trades for players who actually fit their system as well as picking up a handful of veteran free agents who promote teamwork and unity within the locker room. It may not be the cheapest or clearest path to success in the eyes of fans, but rest assured that as soon as the team actually gets some success out of it, the fans will all immediately claim that they trusted the process. And by that logic, it would appear that the process has been well and truly trusted by the fans of the Tarpons of Antslinngs City. They’ve only got one Bixbee Cup to show for their efforts so far, but the feeling around the club is that the arrival of the second cup is all but nigh.

If ever there was a playoff series that personified the concept of "home advantage," then this series between the Port Thimpodopoulos Aliens and the Zzimmonnttogg Direwolves is it. The Aliens and the Direwolves may have been mortal enemies on the rink ever since the FNIHL joined the Hockey Champions League and the two sides realized that they had much to gain by being Abanhfleft’s representatives to international ice hockey, but in truth, the animosity between the two sides have been there ever since a bench-clearing brawl broke out between the two teams in 2013-14, the first season that Port Thim took to the ice as an expansion team. Direwolves fans have very long memories, and this has resulted in the rivalry in its current form. This particular conference semifinals series essentially boils down to “who wants it more?”, and unfortunately for the people of Zzimmonnttogg, the Aliens and their fans simply wanted it more. It most definitely wasn’t for lack of trying though, as both sets of fans flocked to their respective home stadia to show their support to their own team and at the same time scare the other team into submission. How else to explain the fact that the home side won each and every single game in this series? It almost makes one forget about Wadim-ti sweeping the Besanza Basques at the same time. Almost. The 2032 Bixbee Cup Finals runners-up have not exactly covered themselves in glory this time, but against a foe so determined to make what was perhaps their one and only shot at the cup count, what hope did the Basques really have? EDIT: According to the legal experts, it is advisable that no answers be given to this particular question

The story of the Eastern Conference semifinals is similar to that of the West, with one series going right down to the wire and the other one ending in a quick, clean, and unceremonious sweep. However, there is actually a twist in this tale. Whereas fans of both the Suwkpel Gorillas and the Antslinngs City Tarpons were expecting an intense and potentially drawn out fight between their two teams because of their respective desires for silverware and international recognition, instead what they got was a surprise, and not a particularly nice one if one was a fan of the Gorillas. The defending Bixbee Cup champions were shockingly eliminated by the team that had won the 2026 Bixbee Cup, the last Bixbee Cup champions before the inclusion of the FNIHL into the Hockey Champions League. Who could have seen this coming? No, seriously, who could have? Antslinngs City were not favorites to take this series at all (who would be when going up against the defending champions?) but here they have actually done it. Not only did the Tarpons win against the Gorillas, but they actually swept the champions in the Eastern Conference semifinals! This is pretty much unprecedented no matter which way it was looked at. Not since the 2027-28 season has Suwkpel been eliminated from the playoffs earlier than the conference finals, and who should happen to have done that same thing but Antslinngs City? Sometimes, the storylines really do write themselves. Another storyline that wrote itself is the one between Porcusces and Immola, the one where two teams that were expected to be cordial about the whole thing ended up knocking the absolute crap out of each other across seven games and Immola somehow emerging on top out of this whole mess. Both Bucks and Venom fans will remember this, and subsequent meetings between these two are sure to be spicier than Kai Qiang’s tofu recipe.

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? The fans of the Wadim-ti Force wouldn’t know the answer to this question because, their team’s nickname aside, it turns out that the Force isn’t actually unstoppable. No, they proved to be very stoppable against the Port Thimpodopoulos Aliens, who probably deserve that moniker better since there doesn’t look like there’s any team in the Western Conference capable of stopping the team from the Fhulghamous Peninsula from claiming the Bixbee Cup. At least they were gentlemanly about it, letting the Force win Game 1 before taking off the sandbags and showing everyone just what Port Thim was capable of. Aliens haters will say that the 2033 Bixbee Cup Finals runners-up were overconfident in the aforementioned Game 1 and only realized that Wadim-ti was an actual force to be reckoned with after the Aliens got dominated. How quickly do the tables turn indeed, for just as soon as some people were calling Port Thim’s campaign dead in the water, the Aliens immediately turned things around and won the next four games on the trot just to show that they actually could. If that isn’t a flex (a weird one, maybe, but still a flex) then what is?

Meanwhile, in the Eastern Conference, home advantage once again proved its worth in the series between the Antslinngs City Tarpons and the Immola Venom. Seriously though, what are the chances that two different playoff series that went to all seven games would have the home team winning in all fourteen games? They’re not necessarily consecutive games, but still, what are the odds? And it’s not like Antslinngs City and Immola have a rivalry that’s as heated as the one between Port Thim and Zzimmonnttogg. The fans of both teams were rowdy as always, but there was also a respectful undercurrent underneath all of the chants and songs and banners. The fans respected the other fans, but they also wanted their team to beat the other team. That’s just the way the sport goes. And three periods almost often weren’t enough to separate these two teams; three overtime games is the record number for this particular playoffs. Other playoffs have had more games in a single series go into overtime, sure, but in the case of Antslinngs City versus Immola, it was really that hard to find the difference between them. But one team has to eventually come out on top, and that team is the Antslinngs City Tarpons.

Port Thimpodopoulos Aliens wins the 2034 Bixbee Cup Finals 4-2


It feels weird not seeing the Suwkpel Gorillas in the Bixbee Cup Finals, doesn't it? Fans of the Gorillas will be hoping that this doesn’t become a common occurrence in the near future, but most other fans of the FNIHL will just be glad that someone else will be challenging for the Bixbee Cup for a change. Sure, the Aliens are still out there representing the West, but at least everyone else might find it easier to root for Antslinngs City since they haven’t been in the Bixbee Cup Finals in a short while. Both teams were equally matched during the two times that they met during the regular season, but Port Thim does hold the home court advantage due to their better record in the regular season. Can the Aliens take advantage of that and the fact that the Gorillas are nowhere to be seen to claim the Bixbee Cup for themselves, or will the Tarpons overcome the odds and keep the big silver cup in the Eastern Conference?

In the end, once the Aliens saw the opportunity to claim the cup, it was going to be very hard to convince them to let it go, and Antslinngs City didn’t do a good enough job of that. Both teams traded blows in both the metaphorical and literal sense of the phrase (this is ice hockey, after all), and though there were times where the Tarpons looked like they might actually be able to pull it off, Port Thim was quick to bring them right back down to earth, and the Aliens struck the final blow in front of their home fans. A lone goal from Marwin Bagnot in the second period was enough for Port Thim to win Game 6 and secure both the series victory and the Bixbee Cup itself. The celebrations in the capital city of the Fhulghamous Peninsula Colony will be great and wild, but when everyone wakes up from the subsequent hangover, they will realize that now they have the targets on their backs for next season.

The first two seasons of the Federal Top League of the Federal Republic of Estorvipa and Estorpiva can now be considered a success after the newly formed republic has crowned two different champions in both seasons. Everyone seems to be happy with the league's new format so far, with most of the complaints only coming from the city of Durdenville, specifically the supporters of Dinamo Durdenville. Dinamo would have become champions of the Federal Republic under the old double round-robin home-and-away system, but with the introduction of both the championship and relegation rounds at the end of the 2024-25 season, Durdenville missed out on winning the league title. Instead, Traktor St. Paulsburg swooped in to claim the title in the second season of the Federal Top League, and their 21st overall title as champions of the Estorian lands. CSK Armiya Supskij gave Traktor a good fight for the title, but in the end, six goals made the difference. But now it is time for a new season of the Federal Top League to start. Everyone has a clean slate once again; everyone once again has a chance at the title. But realistically speaking, there are really only three or maybe four teams who are actually in contention. And they might not be who you think they are.

Dinamo Durdenville are once again the class of the competition, and once again they've put some daylight in between themselves and their nearest competitors, defending champions Traktor St. Paulsburg. Six points might look like a big gap at the moment, but everyone else going to the championship round will know from experience that Dinamo are quite vulnerable at this stage of the game. Someone only has to take the fight to the team from Durdenville and they will surely collapse under the pressure. Or at least that's what happened last season. Who knows what will happen this time around though? Meanwhile, Chornyy Volodymyrovka have managed to turn themselves around and find themselves in the championship round this season as opposed to the relegation round, while Velikiy Varadino have fallen just short of safety. Velikiy Varadino have nothing to worry about though just yet though. The formation of the Federal Second League seems to be still a few years away, although now the question has become whether the Federal Second League is actually just a few years away or if it is one of those government-issued "a few years away" from fruition.

Looks like it is Traktor St. Paulsburg's turn to curse the creation of the championship and relegation rounds as their title defense collapsed right from the start of the new round. They did not get a win in the championship round until the last day of the season, when they beat CSK Armiya Supskij by a score of 1-0. There will be no celebrations at all in St. Paulsburg this time around. Dinamo Durdenville haven't covered themselves in glory this time around either, winning only five games and losing four. Spartak Rybolovlev might actually be the biggest threat to Dinamo's title hopes this season, but the tables will have to be added up before the confirmation of who are the actual champions of the Federal Republic.

Yet again, Cavaleri Urodorasul will be thanking their lucky stars that relegation is not yet a thing in the Federal Top League despite them playing for their lives in the so-called "relegation round". This was the second time in two seasons that Cavaleri had finished in the bottom two of the six teams playing in the relegation round, and if the Federal Second League finally comes to fruition, the Urodorasul club could find themselves playing in it sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, Foc Feuerstadt don't look like they will fall victim to the drop anytime soon, but their regular season results could still play a factor in whether they are closer to the middle of the table or the bottom.

Dinamo Durdenville will not be denied this time around. Losing out on the title had been a very painful experience for the fans of the club from the new capital of the Pivan homeland, but it was also an important experience since it taught them the value of hanging on to a lead. Durdenville's lead was cut by only one point this time around as they strolled to the title with a five-point lead over their nearest rivals. Meanwhile, Mamai Ihorovtsi, the first ever champions of the new Federal Top League, will find themselves returning to CAFA LigAnaia by virtue of their second place finish in the completed league table. Ihorovtsi made it to the group stage of their first ever LigAnaia but crashed out of that competition with an 0-2-4 win-draw-loss record, and this time they'll be looking for redemption against some of Anaia's best. Meanwhile, the celebrations in Durdenville will continue all night long for Dinamo fans as their team finally lift their first ever Estorian championship.

There will be no timey-wimey shenanigans for the Fleftic National Ice Hockey League this time around. The 2034-35 season will be back in sync with the Hockey Champions League, and the winners of the 2034-35 season will take part in the 24th edition of the HCL. No skipping editions this time around. The time stream between Abanhfleft and most of the rest of the HCL seems to have stabilized somewhat so we won't have to worry about that anymore. One thing that should be noted is that the FNIHL has now changed the order of tiebreakers for the league. Head-to-head wins are now counted after win percentage and before actual wins, giving teams even more of an incentive to win against their closest rivals in the standings. And now, without further ado, here are the results of the 2034-35 FNIHL regular season.

Once again, nothing much has changed in the FNIHL despite some big name moves happening during the offseason leading up to 2034-35. The Port Thimpodopoulos Aliens and the Suwkpel Gorillas are still likely candidates for winning the Bixbee Cup this season, but for the first time in a few season, victory by either side doesn't look like the inevitable event that it has been for the past few seasons. Some other teams actually look like they're actually more likely to win this season than before, but they will still have to go through the gauntlet of the FNIHL playoffs before they can even think about that massive silver cup on top of all those layers at the end of the tunnel. The Porcusces Bucks are once again the cream of the Eastern Conference, and the Gorillas have actually slipped below the Bendy Benny Hammerheads in the playoff seedings despite having one more win than the Hammerheads. The team from the second largest island in the seven Capital Islands have built upon their relatively good performance in the previous season with an eye to making a deeper playoff run this time around. They got a taste of the postseason last year and though they got knocked out in the first round by Antslinngs City, Bendy Benny look like they're hungry for more this time around.

The Zzimmonnttogg Direwolves are once again back at the summit of Fleftic ice hockey, with an eye on claiming their third Bixbee Cup triumph. They're not yet at the point of being considered a dynasty, but they do have some recent history going for them. Just ignore everything else in their history except for the 2024-25 and 2027-28 seasons. Another team that just pulled a sneaky one on the FNIHL analysts is the Mykorrigan Dust Devils, who pushed Port Thim down to just the third seed in the Western Conference playoffs by virtue of the Dust Devils having swept the Aliens during their four meetings in the regular season. Mykorrigan will also want to exorcise the memories of last season from their minds, that time when they were swept out of the playoffs by the sixth seed Besanza Basques. But the biggest surprise in the Western Conference is the fact that the Wadim-ti Force, for all of their big talk in previous seasons about finally becoming Bixbee Cup challengers, have failed to make it into the playoffs this season, but only by the skin of their teeth. They've won more games than the Reyes Doom, but they've also lost more games. They'll need to improve on that particular statistic next season if they want to remain relevant in the title picture. Just saying.

Things are pretty much almost equal across the Western Conference playoffs. Every possible playoff series result was attained this season, with one series ending in a sweep and another one going all the way to the seventh game. The Mykorrigan Dust Devils were the team that swept their particular playoff series, easily disposing of the Sfax Heat in just four games, although Sfax really made Mykorrigan work for that victory in Game 2 of their series. Unexpectedly, or maybe expectedly, it was the defending champions Port Thimpodopoulos Aliens who had to struggle through all seven games of their series against the Marble Arch Cavalry. They are the team to beat after all, being the FNIHL champions and all that, and Marble Arch really want to make their mark in this competition and not just be known as "yet another team from the Fhulghamous." However, if the Cavalry want to displace the Aliens from their place on top of the Fhulghamousian FNIHL pile then they'll have to work on winning more close games against the bigger teams in the league. That's just how it is.

One surprising result of the Western Conference playoffs is the fact that the Besanza Basques have been eliminated by Releinthi in the first round. The Basques have been in the Bixbee Cup Finals just three years ago, and they've been trying to get back in there ever since. But losing their playoff series 4-1 against the Deathsticks is not the way to do that. Besanza was just completely outplayed in this series though, and some would even argue that their lone victory at home against Releinthi was more lucky than anything. Releinthi were simply the better team in this series, and the Deathsticks most certainly deserve to go through to the next round of the playoffs. The Zzimmonnttogg Direwolves meanwhile are still on the path of trying to claim yet another Bixbee Cup now that they've hit their period of success. Seven seasons might seem like a long time to wait for a championship, but considering how long Direwolves fans waited for their first ever Bixbee Cup, no one would probably begrudge them getting another one while their team is still as strong as it is. But the Reyes Doom did put up a good fight against them, as good as they've got, while also probably hoping for another postseason collapse out of Zzimmonnttogg like what's happened in previous seasons. Not this season though, or at least not just yet.

Things are a bit more straightforward in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Two series here ended in straight sweeps, but the result of one such sweep might actually end up surprising most, if not every single FNIHL fan in Abanhfleft and abroad. The Suwkpel Gorillas, perhaps the premier dynasty of the FNIHL upon its admission into the Hockey Champions League, have been eliminated from the Bixbee Cup playoffs by the Vikrant Steelers. Yes, you read that right: the Gorillas have been eliminated from the FNIHL playoffs! The Gorillas and the Steelers had already met in the playoffs two seasons ago, but that was in the Eastern Conference playoffs, the stage in which Suwkpel is almost expected to reach each and every single season. And the Gorillas beat Vikrant 4-1 in that series as well, so almost everyone was expecting a Suwkpel victory in this current series as a given. It just goes to show how much the average ice hockey fan actually knows, because no one would have expected the Steelers to eliminate the Gorillas this early into the postseason, and in a straight sweep as well! If Suwkpel had managed to hold on until maybe Game 6 or even Game 7 then this wouldn't be as big of a shock as it currently is. Yes, it's still a shocker that the Gorillas were eliminated in the very first round of the 2035 playoffs, but to be swept aside as well is just simply astounding. Is this the beginning of the end of the Suwkpel dynasty, or is this just a momentary stumble and will the Gorillas be back stronger than ever next season? No one really knows at this point.

The other sweep was much more routine as far as the FNIHL playoffs are concerned. The Porcusces Bucks also swept aside the Antslinngs City Tarpons, which is a shame, but only mostly for Antslinngs fans. They might have thought that winning the Bixbee Cup in the 2025-26 season was going to usher in a new age of domination for their side, but instead it was Suwkpel and Port Thim who took advantage of Abanhfleft's arrival into the international domestic ice hockey scene and created their own dynasties. The Bucks have been one of the FNIHL's more successful teams in its history, but that success had become a bit harder to come by for Porcusces since the beginning of the HCL era. But maybe it's all just a matter of time now. They certainly went in the right direction when they beat Antslinngs City in the first round of the playoffs, but there are still a few more hurdles for them to clear before they can think about lifting the Bixbee Cup once again. Both Lotharstadt and Bendy Benny are also doing the right thing so far by beating their current opposition, but they will have to make it through the conference semifinals first.

Talk about taking it right down to the wire. The conference semifinals of the 2034-35 FNIHL playoffs in both the Western and Eastern Conferences had seen a grand total of ten games go into overtime, perhaps a record in the current iteration of the FNIHL. At the very least, it's the first time that this has happened during the HCL era. All these teams really want the chance to prove themselves against the best ice hockey teams in the multiverse, so it's perhaps no surprise that they're willing to go to these lengths to get there. It also probably helps that there is a shiny piece of silverware called the Bixbee Cup at the end of this particular tunnel for these teams as well, and the Bixbee Cup has always served as a great motivator for the FNIHL's teams to push beyond their own boundaries and put that little extra into their efforts to claim the championship. The Zzimmonnttogg Direwolves are one such team. They've never gotten beyond the first qualifying round of the Hockey Champions League yet, and the Direwolves really want to see what's on the other side. But all of this timey-wimey stuff that meant that Abanhfleft has skipped a fair few HCL editions makes it appear that every time Zzimmonnttogg gets into the HCL, every other team has gotten better while they were gone. It's not a situation that the Direwolves really like, but if they want to truly establish themselves both at home and abroad, then they will have to continue doing what they've already done against Releinthi, keep coming back and forcing wins out of losing situations.

The defending Bixbee Cup champions Port Thimpodopoulos Aliens knew that keeping hold of their trophy was always going to be a tough ask, but nobody surely must have expected the Mykorrigan Dust Devils to eliminate the Aliens in the Western Conference semifinals. But maybe we should all have seen this coming. After all, Mykorrigan swept Port Thim in their regular season intra-conference series, and while nobody would have lost a lot of sleep over that, Aliens fans are surely losing sleep about the result of this particular series now. Is this the signal that the era of Port Thim's domination over the Western Conference is at an end? Or is this just a stumble on the roaad to making a lasting dynasty? Credit where it is due though; the Aliens were not really outclassed or outmatched by the Dust Devils in this series. Five out of the six games that they played against each other were settled by one or two goals, with the only outlier being Game 5 in which Port Thim put seven goals past Mykorrigan at the Dust Devils' home turf. But when the series went back to the Fhulghamous Peninsula for Game 6, the Aliens just couldn't perform in front of their own fans, and they ended up getting shut out in a 2-0 defeat that also put an end to their hopes of claiming back-to-back Bixbee Cups.

The Lotharstadt Jaegers really made the Porcusces Bucks fight for this series victory, three times pushing the Bucks to overtime. But the thing about this though is that out of these three overtime games, Lotharstadt won only one of them, while Porcusces picked up the rest. The Jaegers will need to work on their ability to play ice hockey beyond the three periods if they want to maintain their position inside the title picture in subsequent seasons. It's one thing to be able to force your fellow playoff teams into playing overtime, but it's quite another thing to be able to actually win those games. And already, there are concerns that Lotharstadt's window of opportunity is beginning to slip away. Their current roster may still have quite a few years of potential title-winning quality in them, but if they continue dropping games against their playoff opposition then all that talent and ability might just end up being for nothing.

The Vikrant Steelers shocked everyone who was following the Eastern Conference of the FNIHL when they knocked out the Suwkpel Gorillas in the very first round of the 2034-35 playoffs. And not only did the Steelers beat the Gorillas, but they actually swept Suwkpel in four games! The Gorillas didn't even manage to win a single game against Vikrant in the playoffs, which is a veritable shocker for the team from the Berkner Bay Province. But now it's time for the Steelers to do it all over again against the Bendy Benny Hammerheads, and for some reason the Hammerheads actually proved to be a tougher opponent for Vikrant than the Gorillas. In fact, Bendy Benny was so much better than Suwkpel that they actually managed to beat the Steelers. Sure, it took the Hammerheads six games to actually get the series win over Vikrant, but it's already a much better performance from them compared to Suwkpel, who couldn't even get a single win against the Steelers. What a shame for Vikrant fans as well. After knocking Suwkpel out of the competition, they must have thought that they actually had a shot at winning the Bixbee Cup, but unfortunately for them, Bendy Benny just had to be the ones to play spoilsport to them. Next season it is then, if Vikrant makes it that far.

The 2035 FNIHL Western Conference Finals might just go down in history as being among one of the greatest series of games of ice hockey in the history of Abanhfleft, if not the outright best series of all time in the country. This particular Western Conference Finals had everything that a ice hockey fan could want: goals, saves, checks, and even the occasional brawl here and there. Zzimmonnttogg and Mykorrigan aren't really known for being rival cities and such, but given the opportunity that had been presented to both teams by the elimination of both Port Thimpodopoulos and Suwkpel in the early stages of the playoffs, it was really no surprise that both the Direwolves and the Dust Devils went all in on their attacks. This was probably going to be the only time in a handful of seasons that they were going to be given this kind of golden opportunity to win the most coveted prize in Fleftic ice hockey. Many neutrals, and even some fans from both sides were probably beginning to wish that both sides could both be winners of the Western Conference Finals somehow, but only one club could be the winner, and in Game 7, the Zzimmonnttogg Direwolves were that winning club.

The same couldn't be said for the 2035 Eastern Conference Finals though. Far from it, actually. In fact, the opposite must be said for this series because the Bendy Benny Hammerheads are not fooling around. They don't care that they're up against the Porcusces Bucks. They're going to win their next playoff series, and woe to the team that happens to be up against the Hammerheads. Here in the Eastern Conference Finals, that team just happened to be the Bucks. Both the team from Porcusces and the city of Porcusces itself didn't seem to know what hit them when Bendy Benny came to their turf and literally smacked the Bucks silly. It actually is funny to see how the Hammerheads manhandled Porcusces in their home stadium, and while the first two games of the series resulted in narrow victories for Bendy Benny, once it was time for the series to go to Qusquesien, the Bucks simply were out of luck. Bendy Benny could do whatever they wanted to their opponents with impunity once it was time for the Eastern Conference Finals to be played out in front of a sold-out crowd in the capital of Bendy Benny Province, and Porcusces just couldn't keep up. Better luck next time, you Bucks.

Bendy Benny Hammerheads wins the 2035 Bixbee Cup Finals 4–3


For the first time since 2028, the Bixbee Cup Finals does not feature either one of the Suwkpel Gorillas or the Port Thimpodopoulos Aliens. But one of the teams that did take part in the 2028 Bixbee Cup Finals, the Zzimmonnttogg Direwolves, is in the 2035 Finals, and they'll be looking to repeat their feat in both 2028 and 2024 and lift the Bixbee Cup over their heads for only the third time in their history. However, the team on the other side of the bracket for them is the Bendy Benny Hammerheads, and so far there hasn't been a single team that's looked like they're capable of beating the Hammerheads across seven games. Manilaonilao tried to do it, Vikrant tried to do it, and Porcusces failed to do it in just about the most spectacular way possible by getting swept out of the Eastern Conference Finals. Zzimmonnttogg won both of their games against the Hammerheads in the regular season, so surely they could do it again, right? Right?

Anyway, forget about what we just said about the Western Conference Finals being the best ice hockey series that's been played in Abanhfleft in recent history. That honor undoubtedly has to now go to the 2035 BIxbee Cup Finals, and not just because it's the literal series for the FNIHL championship. Everything that the Western Conference Finals had, the 2035 Bixbee Cup Finals also has, and in spades as well. This was perhaps the closest and most hard-fought that the Bixbee Cup Finals have ever been since the FNIHL joined the Hockey Champions League. Both teams were acutely aware that this might be their best opportunity to win a Bixbee Cup while the big dynasties like Suwkpel and Port Thim were out of the picture, and it showed in the way that they played. This was especially the case for the Bendy Benny Hammerheads, who were taking part in only their second ever Bixbee Cup Finals. Zzimmonnttogg, for their part, were also fighting hard to claim that silverware, and considering their reputation as being "always the bridesmaid but never the bride" until recent times, they were determined not to fall victim to the sickness that had plagued them for most of their Bixbee Cup Finals history. However, the Direwolves just couldn't help themselves this time around. This time, seven years after their last Bixbee Cup triumph, the Zzimmonnttogg Direwolves have choked away the title once again. But it most definitely wasn't for lack of trying. In this particular case, Bendy Benny just wanted it more, and after a stalwart defensive performance in Game 7 on enemy turf, Ismaël Cordero scored the goal in the third period that would secure the Hammerheads' first ever Bixbee Cup triumph.

It is now official; the Federal Top League of the Federal Republic of Estorvipa and Estorpiva is now a successful and self-sustaining league. Not only has it managed to complete three full seasons of competition but it has also managed to send representatives to the CAFA LigAnaia without any of the troubles usually associated with newly formed leagues in newly formed countries such as a lack of funding for the teams or the teams not being able to secure the licenses required to allow them to compete in regional football. It's also worth noting that the Federal Top League has lasted much, much longer than the so-called "Revolutionary Football League" established in the north by the anarcho-capitalist gangsters pretending to be a national government. This football league in the north could only operate for five matchdays before it was interrupted and subsequently canceled due to the events unfolding in the south, and as of the time of writing, there appears to be no signs at all of when, or even if, it will be restarted at all.

Back closer to home, the citizens of Durdenville are still busy celebrating the victory of their club, Dinamo Durdenville, in the recently completed 2025-26 Federal Top League season. After missing out on the title in the 2024-25 season due to the introduction of the new championship and relegation round format, Dinamo were determined not to disappoint their loyal and faithful supporters again, and that was what they did. Both Spartak Rybolovlev and Mamai Ihorovtsi gave Dinamo a good title fight, but in the end it was the team from Durdenville who emerged victorious with the most important piece of silverware in the country. However, there is no more time left for the people and fans of Durdenville to celebrate their triumph as a new season of the Federal Top League is now upon the country; it is now time to crown a new champion of Estorian football. Will Dinamo be able to defend their crown, or will one of the old guard come back to claim it once again? Or will we see yet another first-time champion of Estoria, just like we've seen in two of the past three seasons of the Federal Top League.

NOTE: Following a series of reforms for the Vipan language aimed at distancing the nation from the shadow of the Estorvipan People's Republic, the cities of Ihorovtsi and Volodymyrovka have now been renamed Ihorivtsi and Volodymyrivka, and the clubs located in the aforementioned cities have also renamed themselves accordingly. In saying this, it should be noted that both Mamai Ihorivtsi and Chornyy Volodymyrivka are the same entities as Mamai Ihorovtsi and Chornyy Volodymyrovka.

It is hard to say which is the bigger surprise at the end of the regular season; the fact that Dinamo Durdenville have completely cocked up their title defense, or that Matrega Fanagoria have managed to put themselves into contention for the title, even if it does seem like an impossible task. Matrega have only just completed the leap to becoming a fully professional team this season thanks to the deep pockets of one of their own, Mykhailo Nazaryuk, but perhaps we might be seeing the start of Matrega reaping the rewards of their owner's continued investment in the team. In the meantime, if we are talking about teams who actually have a realistic shot at the title, Mamai Ihorivtsi are in pole position to claim their second Federal Top League title and third overall Estorian title but they have stiff competition in the form of Spartak Rybolovlev and Traktor St. Paulsburg. This season though, the championship isn't the only thing at stake; the Federal Top League has been accepted into the IFCF in place of the Fleftic Premier League of Abanhfleft, whose membership has been suspended for one season while investigations into allegations of corruption and matchfixing in the country are ongoing. (OOC: I'm too lazy to scorinate a season for Abanhfleft so I'm entering a bunch of my puppets into the IFCF instead)

The championship round table doesn't really make for good reading if you're a fan of Mamai Ihorivtsi. As far as results go, it's not really that bad for the team from Ihorivtsi, but compared to the records of the other teams also fighting for the championship, it's hard to tell if they've done just enough to claim the title at the final reckoning, or if someone else has managed to pip them to it. Spartak Rybolovlev, meanwhile, have had almost the perfect championship round this time around, winning seven games and drawing only three. They did not lose a single game in this round at all. Spartak really look like they have a substantial chance of claiming their first ever Federal Top League championship, and their 29th Estorian title overall, but once again, the tables will have to be added up before a champion could be determined.

Dinamo Durdenville never thought that they would be in this position, but yet here they are anyway. However, like many other teams that have had the "misfortune" of taking part in the relegation round after the end of the regular season, they will be relieved that promotion and relegation still isn't in place in the Federal Top League yet because the government is still trying to put together 12 teams to form the second tier of competition below the Top League. Dinamo look like they've done just enough to keep themselves in the Top League if relegation was indeed already a thing, but for the meantime they'll be congratulating themselves for their great escape. Another club who will be perfectly happy for the second tier of Estorian football to be always "just a few years away" will be Delfo Yevdokiya, who did not win a single game in their relegation round campaign at all. Perhaps they are merely accepting the fact that relegation will become inevitable eventually, but in the meantime they will enjoy their time in the Top League for as long as they could.

For the second season in a row, Mamai Ihorivtsi are the bridesmaid but not the bride. This failure to claim the title despite having had a five-point lead at the start of the championship round will be especially painful given that they've lost out on the championship by only four points, one fewer than they did in the previous season against Dinamo Durdenville. At least they will be back in the CAFA LigAnaia once again, and they will also have the chance to take part in the IFCF by virtue of the Federal Republic taking Abanhfleft's place (at least for this season). Meanwhile, Spartak Rybolovlev are having the time of their lives. They took the championship round by storm, and with it they've laid their hands on their first ever Federal Top League title, which is also their 29th overall Estorian championship. This now means that four different clubs have won the Federal Top League in its first four seasons, thus making it one of the most exciting and even unpredictable leagues in Anaia and maybe even the whole multiverse, which is exactly what both the fans and the league's organizers want. But will the trend continue in its landmark fifth season? Or will someone finally win the title twice?

Two sides wait their long-awaited return to the Fleftic Premier League in the form of Bananas FC from Suwkpel, and the 2029-30 FPL champions All-Inclusive Haranguer, the first inter-gender football club in all of Abanhfleft. They waited five and four seasons respectively, toiling away in the second division of Fleftic football working on their return to the top. Sometimes they just barely missed out on promotion; other times it was apparent that they were going to be mid-table in Unang Liga before the first half of the season had even been finished. But this season, both the Gorillas and the Sand Tigers made it clear that they were going back to the Premier League no matter what. There may have been questions at the start of the season which among the two of them would claiming the league title at the end of the season, and in the end, Bananas edged out All-Inclusive by six points. Behind the two of them, Dynamo Ja emerged as the clear third-best team in the division, and in a fairer world they would have gone up to the Prem alongside Bananas and Haranguer. As it is though, they would have to fight for their right to go up to the top flight against three other teams that have all ended the season on 73 points: El Horizonte, Keklavik United, and Atletico San Sebastian. These four will square off in a two-legged playoff in which 3rd place will play 6th place, and 4th will go against 5th. The winners of those two playoffs will face each other at the May 26 Revolution Memorial Stadium to determine who will be the third and final team to move up to the Premier League.
