The Egyptian Revolution (OOC and sign-up)

[Al Qahira and Southern Egypt]

Troops marched in the streets of Cairo. It was Emirate Day: the day the Emir took power and closed his fist of steel on the nation. The Day was mostly a show of force, to drive home any thoughts of rebellion. Almost simultaneously, three different leaders gave the same command. “Go.” The troops were attacked by rockets and gunfire. They were in a total panic. It was a storm of bullets. Three banners were hung up, and graffiti sprayed on some walls, then the attacks vanished as suddenly as they came. Cairo was placed under martial law, but the damage was already done. The Emir could not sleep that night, thinking that this might be the end of his rule.

Government (Supported by: North-Iberia)

On the Emir’s side.

Communists (Supported by: The Eurasian Revolutionary Front, Janpia)

They want to make Southern Egypt a communist state. Their leader is Ali bin Ali.

Medinaists (Supported by: Muqaddasia/IHS, The King Isle, Redwood)

Want to make a Medinaist system in S. Egypt, like in Muqaddasia (Islamic Holy Sites). Their leader is Muhammad Jawadi.

The Liberation Front of Egypt (Supported by: Cyrenaica Transnational, The Eurasian Revolutionary Front)

They are a ragtag bunch of rebels, who are going to install their leader (Naseer Ali) as Emir if they win.

The communists and other rebels don’t control any land. When the rp starts really moving, I will change it. Also, I am sorry about the tiny map, but I don’t know how to make it bigger.
