It's been a while since I've seen this game on F7, so here's a new incarnation.

Fortunately/Unfortunately is a simple game. We tell a story together, alternating between fortunate and unfortunate events. For example, we might see:

Examplistania: Fortunately, our heroes were rescued at the last second and managed to escape the deadly robo-tigers.
Demonstatia: Unfortunately, they ran right into a group of deadly robo-lions!
Illustratia: Fortunately, the robo-lions were easily disarmed with cuddles!
Nation 4: Unfortunately, our heroes were now completely lost and had no way home.

To begin:

Fortunately, Bob found a penny on the sidewalk.

unfortunately for bob, that was a time-traveling penny! he's been transported to the 1850's!

Fortunately, Bob landed in 1850's New York, so he could at least try to make a living.

Unfortunately, he has to work in a sweatshop.

Unfortunately, his paycheck is a bomb and he explodes and dies, the end!!

Fortunately, Di Ravello gets hit with a plane that got stuck in the horrific Just Cause physics engine, and Bob reunites with the heiress.

unfortunately her ex-boyfriend is a werewolf and isn't happy about bob

Fortunately, he's a clergyman so he can bless any water and get as many crosses as needed,

Unfortunately, he has stolen a cross and has been arrested.

Fortunately, he made such a funny pun about crosses that he was released immediately without charges being raised.

Unfortunately, an angry mob with no sense of humour immensely seized him, tied him to a stake, and pelted him with eggs.

Fortunately, the vampire confused a mobster with him. He bit the mobster, causing panic, and giving the dude a chance to escape.

Unfortunately, The vampire bit the mobster. Now he's an angry vampire mobster with no sense of humor that is chasing you down.

Fortunately, Bob is just in a movie. Everyone is an actor.

Unfortunately, Bob was watching said movie and then suddenly some mobsters attacked the movie theater with Bob in it.

Fortunately, Arnold Schwarzenegger comes to save the day.

Unfortunately, Arnold is bitten by a secret vampire in the mob. Now, there's a vampire Arnold Schwartzenager.

Fortunately, the time-traveling penny transported Bob to the future, away from the vampire mobsters
