Synopsis
After three chaotic decades of the early 21st century, the world order came crashing down and any ambition to achieve goals like global peace, sustainable development and equal rights was lost. With the fall of this world order came the fall of older countries. Out of these fallen countries came newer ones who are all ambitious. Some seek to achieve global peace, while others were hellbent on territorial conquest. These countries has their own ideologies, yet some seeks to have something in common. Newer ideologies are born and many seeks to prevent history from repeating itself. As the lineup of countries changes, obstacles will emerge. Now, it is the new countries' turn to face the challenges of their forerunners. Will they succeed or fail? That's the choice of their "competent" leaders.

Now remember that Russia, USA, UK, France, Canada, China, India, South Africa and other major countries have split up into smaller countries, while some existing small powers became larger through violent conquest or peaceful unification. Also, technology here is 65% modern and 35% post-modern, so that it wouldn't be too futuristic.
PS: This is pretty much a remake of "Anno 2054", albeit with a different title and starting in a different year. Not so much have changed, but there were changes in the timeline, especially with the exclusion of the 2010s.

Timeline
2020: The UK officially leaves the EU, which causes a terrorist group called the "New Irish Republican Army" (NIRA) to start a militant campaign for Irish reunification. The 2020 Summer Olympics is held in Tokyo, Japan. Joe Biden gets elected as the 46th President of the United States. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu starts to share power with Speaker Benjamin Gantz after an agreement is reached between their respective political parties.
2021: Before Joe Biden is inaugurated, Trump supporters storms the US Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results. With a promise to not be re-elected as Federal Chancellor (Bundeskanzler), Angela Merkel resigns as head of the CDU, handing over the party leadership to Albert Krusch, a young political visionary, who manages to gain success in preparation for the 2021 German Federal Election. Once it is held, he wins and becomes Bundeskanzler. He starts to advocate for further European integration, as well as a merger of the CDU and other political parties, which eventually becomes known as the "Democratic Unification Party" (Demokratische Vereinigungspartei). Japan officially edits Article 9, turning the Japanese Self-Defense Forces into the Japanese Defense Forces (Bōeitai), thus remilitarizing the country. The JGSDF, the JMSDF and the JASDF are all renamed to the Japanese Ground Defense Force (Rikujō Bōeitai), the Japanse Maritime Defense Force (Kaijō Bōeitai) and the Japanese Air Defense Force (Kōkū Bōeitai) respectively, while a new branch called the Japanese Cyber Defense Force (Saibā Bōeitai) is formed to deal with Japan's weak cyber defence. At the same time, with the recent deterioration in Korean-Japanese relations due to trade dispute and historical issues, a political movement called "Hyeongje" (형제) emerges in South Korea. Hyeongje is a right-wing nationalist ideology which calls for Korea to cut ties with Japan and grow more closer to the West (including the US), as well as cracking down on left-wing politics and reuniting the Korean Peninsula. After it rose to prominence, the ideology began to gain support among Zainichi Koreans, who began to fiercely protest against anti-Korean sentiment in Japan. Bundeskanzler Krusch begins to openly support the NIRA, seeing it as both pro-European and anti-British. British-German relations deteriorates greatly due to Krusch' hateful stance on the UK following Brexit. The Taliban regains absolute control of Afghanistan after overthrowing the Afghan government, while foreign troops and fearful citizens began leaving the country in the process.
2022: The 2022 Winter Olympics takes place in Beijing, China. Due to the popularity of the Hyeongje movement and its triumph over Juche across South Korea and Japan, the Japanese government cracks down on the movement, fearing it would encourage anti-Japanese sentiment. With further influence from Bundeskanzler Krusch and his loyal supporters, the EU radicalizes and starts to make membership withdrawal more difficult by threatening withdrawing member-states with diplomatic and economic sanctions. The EU openly supports the NIRA, the Scottish independence movement and the Catalan independence movement, with the latter being a shock to Spain. Meanwhile, the Hyeongje movement gains momentum in South Korea when a political party adhering to its beliefs, the National Republican Party (국민공화당/Gugmingonghwadang), wins the 2022 South Korean Presidential Election and gains control over the country, thus propagating anti-Japanese sentiment by censoring Japanese media (anime, manga, J-Pop, J-Drama, etc), ending all trade with Japan, banning Japanese people from visiting South Korea and even deporting any "chinilpa" (Koreans who collaborated with Japan before and during WW2) to Japan, while also promoting both Korean reunification and pro-Western sentiment. The anti-Japanese policies effectively causes outrage in Japan, which might affect Korean-Japanese relations. At the same time, relations between North Korea and South Korea deteriorates due to the Hyeongje movement being in control of the latter.
2023: Saudi-Arabia officially withdraws from Yemen and anti-government protests in Iran intensifies. The BND allegedly assassinates Jarosław Kaczyński, the head of the PiS (Law and Justice), as a way to combat Eurosceptic nationalism. This prompts both anti-German riots in Poland and ensuing arrests of Germans by a newly-formed secret police called the National Security Service (Służba Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego). Poland officially withdraws from the EU, followed by Austria and Italy. As a result, all three countries are diplomatically and economically sanctioned by the EU. The US, in response, economically sanctions the EU and sends aid to Poland, Austria and Italy, as well as Spain, who is also thinking of leaving the EU due to Catalan independence being favoured over Spanish unity. Russia, seeing the European crisis unfold, annexes eastern Ukraine (thus absorbing both the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic) and sends troops to Belarus. Due to the ensuing crisis, NATO dissolves as the US and the UK retain closer ties with each other. Meanwhile, the far-right MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) enters a coalition government with the ruling AKP (Justice and Development Party) in Turkey, thus making the country further oppressive and nationalistic while using the Grey Wolves (Bozkurtlar), the supposed terrorist wing of the MHP, as the country's own "Schutzstaffel" when persecuting ethnic minorities and political dissidents, as well as executing covert operations abroad. The EU also orders the US to remove its troops from European soil as part of Kruschist-orchestrated crackdown on US interests in Europe.
2024: The 2024 US Presidential Election faces a twist when Chris Shannon, an independent Congressman from New York, runs for President as a non-partisan candidate with a very centrist agenda. He seeks to be an alternative to both the Republicans and the Democrats. Meanwhile, following rumors that Poland, Austria and Italy have allegedly planned to eradicate the EU by covertly encouraging withdrawal among member-states, the EU officially declares war on the three countries by sending military forces to invade them, starting the Central European War. Austria, Poland and Italy forms a military alliance known as the "Freedom Alliance" (Freiheitsbündnis/Sojusz Wolności/Alleanza per la Libertà/Alianza Libertad/Szabadság Szövetség), which is soon joined by Spain and Hungary, prompting the EU to also invade the two, as well as suspend Spain for joining the Freedom Allaince. North Macedonia, Ukraine and Norway joins the EU and sends their armed forces to participate in the Central European War as well. Turkey also supports the EU, both financially and militarily, in the conflict. Once the Election Day has arrived, Chris Shannon defeats both the Republicans and the Democrats, making him the second independent President of the United States (the first being George Washington). His victory leads to mixed reactions, although most of them were quite positive. On the other hand, both the Republicans and the Democrats, as well as their respective supporters, were bitter over the outcome, with ex-President Donald Trump derogatorily calling Chris Shannon a "political fraudster".
2025: Chris Shannon is inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States and forms an administration with both moderate Republicans and moderate Democrats. During the first days of his administration, Chris comes through with numerous policies such as a mixed healthcare system, moderate taxation, soft gun control, moderate immigration reform, state-sponsored community development, affirmative action, support for smaller businesses, moderate environmental protection and a tough stance regarding the EU, China, Iran and Russia. Meanwhile, the British-American military forces carries out a joint offensive against the NIRA forces in Northern Ireland, prompting Irish military aid to both the NIRA and other Irish nationalist groups in the region. With Russia being currently focused on the Baltic countries, the EU intervenes, thus dragging Russia into the Central European War as a third side opposed to the EU and the Freedom Alliance. Meanwhile, relations between North Korea and South Korea sours as internal conflict rises within the North Korean government, mainly due to certain government officials being paranoid over the Hyeongje movement down south. The EU, meanwhile, carries out airstrikes against northern Italy and western Austria for two months as part of "Operation Skyfall", which is carried out by the German Air Force, the French Air Force, the Croatian Air Force and the Slovenian Air Force. The French Army invades northern Spain and liberates Catalonia, thus enabling Catalonia to secede from Spain as the "Catalan Republic" (República Catalana) and ensuingly support the pro-European cause. A BND-orchestrated coup d'etat in Prague puts the Czech Republic under a pro-European government who promptly suppresses Czech nationalism and imposes gun control, as well as conscripting Czech citizens to participate in the Central European War on behalf of the EU. Chris Shannon is proven to be so popular that his policies became popularly supported in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
2026: The EU occupies both Austria and Hungary, setting up re-education camps for citizens of both countries to be brainwashed into becoming more pro-European. Meanwhile, conflict between Iran and Saudi-Arabia arises over Iraq, prompting the EU to side with Iran (due to the nuclear deal) and the US to side with Saudi-Arabia (as usual). As the result of Kurds siding with the US and Saudi-Arabia, Turkey sides with the EU and Iran, while the Iraqi government remains forcefully neutral despite the risk of armed conflict. Meanwhile, President Bashar al-Assad is shockingly assassinated alongside his family by an airstrike against the Presidential Palace in Damascus. The assassination was blamed on various entities, mainly the US, ISIS and Kurds. As a result, Syria falls into total anarchy as crisis emerges within the ruling party following the assassination, which prompts both Russia and Iran to jointly assist the Ba'athist government. South America descends into chaos as the Venezuelan Civil War breaks out and people starts fleeing to neighbouring countries. Meanwhile, the South Korean military occupies the Liancourt Rocks (also known as Dokdo and Takeshima), prompting brief retaliation by the JDF that lasts for two weeks.
2027: As the result of the Central European War, economic crisis surfaces among various EU member-states, mainly Greece, Sweden, France and Ireland. Germany and Belgium, the only countries to suffer mildly from the economic consequences of the conflict, intimidates other member-states in order to keep the EU unified and strong. Meanwhile, Brazil faces economic crisis and South Africa descends into chaos as anti-government sentiment turns further militant. On the other hand, the US is facing further internal chaos as civil war brews. Poland gets eventually occupied by the Bundeswehr with the PiS leadership executed and Polish people sent to re-education camps. Remaining in the Freedom Alliance are Italy and Spain alongside support from both the US and the UK.
2028: As a last resort against Taiwanese independence, the PLA invades Taiwan, prompting military intervention by the US and Japan, despite the South Korean government demanding the US to not cooperate with Japan. Portugal and the Netherlands collapses due to economic debt, thus resulting in them being temporarily occupied by EU military forces in order to preserve the EU and keep ensuing chaos at bay while the EU punishes both governments for economic failure. The NIRA commits a terrorist attack against the UK Parliament, killing 75 people, including the Prime Minister, prompting both martial law in the UK by the British military and violent retribution against Irish nationalists in Northern Ireland by Ulster loyalists. The Iraqi dispute goes further critical, resulting in Iran officially overthrowing the Iraqi government and replacing it with a pro-Iranian one under Muqtada al-Sadr, which further militarized the crisis. Kurdish independence prevails as Syrian Kurdistan and Iraqi Kurdistan secedes to form the Democratic Confederation of Kurdistan (Konfederasyona Demokratîk ya Kurdistanê). In response to this, Turkey and Iran imposes martial law in Turkish Kurdistan and Iranian Kurdistan respectively, while the KDK faces a joint invasion by Turkey, Iran, Russia and Iraq. Allegedly, genocide is carried out against the Kurds by the Turkish government, which the EU blatantly ignores. Unexpectedly, Chris Shannon is re-elected as President of the United States, thus further angering Republicans and Democrats, who are tired of his popularity.
2029: As Chris Shannon gains a second term in office, both right-leaning Republicans and left-leaning Democrats began to openly defy his administration. Ultimately, armed conflict breaks out between Saudi-Arabia and Iran. It becomes known as the "Second Gulf War". Both Iran and Saudi-Arabia indiscriminately bomb each other, while the RSSMF unintentionally fires a missile at Istanbul, cutting off the bridge that keeps Turkey and Europe connected. In response, Turkey helps Iran with military action against Saudi-Arabia, just as Saudi-Arabia gets backup from the US, Israel, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and UAE. Russia and Iraq also supports Iran in the Second Gulf War. Meanwhile, France declares bankruptcy and withdraws from the Central European War, prompting Germany and other EU member-states to bomb French cities as punishment for the withdrawal, which they consider to be disrespectful towards the EU and Albert Krusch himself. In response to the European backlash against France, the RAF bombs Belgium, which causes further uproar within the UK, as some politicians and activists found such act to be unexpectedly aggressive. The DV government and its allies uses this as an opportunity to create anti-British propaganda and accuse the UK of committing war crimes against Europe. Also, the EU occupies the Channel Islands, while the CIA gathers intelligence from the Central European War.
2030: Mexico descends into chaos as the War on Drugs intensifies and the drug cartels gaining further power within the country, just as the Mexican town of Chéran, due to its anti-government stance, gets invaded by the Mexican military on behalf of the country's new government whose leader seeks to centralize (de-federalize) the country. Meanwhile, Africa descends into total chaos with governments collapsing and armed groups emerging, which leads the African Union to weaken and eventually collapse, followed by the SADC, the ECOWAS and the EAC. Political opposition towards the Krusch government grows more stronger within Germany, resulting in the government further cracking down on civil liberties. North Korea descends into chaos as Unit 684 overthrows the Kim dynasty and declares martial law, mostly due to continued paranoia over the Hyeongje movement.
2031: For the first time in Chinese history, a scandal ultimately strikes the Communist Party of China (CPC). This scandal, dubbed the "Economic Drain" (经济流失), involves high-ranking CPC officials having drained the Chinese economy to live in luxury, both inside and outside of China. Since a majority of the implicated officials were allies of Xi Jinping, many Chinese people, including some innocent CPC officials, accuses him of participating in the scandal, which causes him to lose popularity in China. As a result, a conflict rises up within the CPC, pitting officials who supports both Xi Jinping and those implicated in the scandal against those who were outraged over the scandal and called for reform, while all foreign companies began pulling out of China when it ceased to be a powerful marketplace following the scandal. Meanwhile, the internal conflict in Burma worsens as various insurgent groups resume their fight against Burmese supremacy. Indo-Pakistani relations deteriorates following recent border clashes in the Punjab region. The EU is facing further pressure from Russia, the US and the UK, prompting Germany to invade the Kaliningrad Oblast, which causes Russia to invade Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia. As a result, Russia annexes the eastern half of Poland.
2032: Dissolution is reaching both China and USA while the Korean Peninsula descends into chaos with the KPA invading South Korea, thus starting the Second Korean War. The US sends military assistance to South Korea, while Japan refuses to intervene due to the Liancourt Crisis of 2026. Famine and plague goes rampant in Africa amid armed conflict and economic collapse. Chéran is razed to the ground by the Mexican military, prompting vigilante action against the Mexican government by both the town's surviving residents and various Mexican self-defence groups. Meanwhile, Canada is facing a similar critical uproar as people turn against each other. Japan is facing political turmoil as both right-wing and left-wing groups clash. Germany officially suppresses Christianity, claiming it to be a threat to both the EU and social justice, which causes concern among EU member-states. As Chris Shannon's presidency comes to an end, his followers enters the 2032 US Presidential Election as a new political party called the "Shannonist Party" (also known as Shannonites) to continue his policies while incorporating American nationalism.
2033: Internal crisis further cripples the Communist Party of China (CPC) as Xi Jinping steps down as head of the Chinese government, while Republicans and Democrats are frustrated over the Shannonites having won the 2032 US Presidential Election. Eventually, both blue states (Democrat) and red states (Republican) starts to defy the Shannonite government by operating autonomous from it and heavily relying on their respective "state defense forces" (SDF) for military protection from both each other and the Shannonite government. Meanwhile, the Shannonites becomes dominant in the US states who openly supported Chris Shannon and his policies, namely New York, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Ohio. The Russian government faces further anti-government opposition and the Iraqi people revolts against the Sadrist government, prompting crackdown by both the Sadrist authorities and the Iranian military. Meanwhile, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Greece officially declares bankruptcy, causing further anger within Germany and other EU states, who quickly condemned all these countries through diplomatic and economic sanctions. With Germany and Russia constantly fighting over Poland, nationalist opposition to both of them rises up among Polish citizens, who quickly form resistance groups such as the "Home Guard" (Gwardia Krajowa), the "National Liberation Movement" (Ruch Wyzwolenia Narodowego), the "White Fist" (Biały Pięść) and the CIA-sponsored "Polish Liberation Army" (Polska Armia Wyzwolenia). These groups terrorizes both the German and Russian authorities in occupied Poland for five years. Also, the UK initiaties "Operation National Unity", which effectively ends devolution in the country. In response, militia groups began attacking British authorities in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
2034: California and Texas, albeit being blue (Democrat) and red (Republican), campaigns for independence, prompting crackdown by state authorities, which helps fueling the internal strife that the US is about to face. Meanwhile, Uyghurs and Tibetans starts insurrecting against the Chinese government while Taiwan regains its independence at last. The KPA is pushed out of South Korea while North Korea further descends into political and economic turmoil. Meanwhile, Bundeskanzler Krusch' visit to the German-controlled half of Poland gets interrupted by an assassination attempt on him, which was mostly organized by the White Fist.
2035: Civil war breaks out in Germany between the pro-Kruschist government and the anti-Kruschist opposition. The German Air Force bombs Chemnitz, which is considered to be a sanctuary for right-wing nationalists, killing 75% of the city population. As a result, more EU states withdraws from the Central European War and military occupations ceases (except Germany and Russia still occupies Poland), but the invaded countries are badly damaged beyond recognition (especially Italy, whose northern part has been so devastated by the Central European War that balkanization could prevent nationwide recovery, and France, where the Fifth Republic had eventually collapsed as the French military formed a provisional government). Meanwhile, India is facing crisis as overpopulation worsens and separatism becoming more prevalent. As a result, the Indian government seeks to solve the two issues by ordering genocide against ethnic minorities, prompting further violence among Indian communities. Iran and Saudi-Arabia causes their war to negatively affect the oil market as many oil installations were badly damaged by airstrikes. Meanwhile, the AKP-MHP government faces opposition from both Kurds and other parts of Turkish society, prompting civil war to break out, while the Arab League, ASEAN, OPEC, GCC and SAARC collapses.
2036: The US officially withdraws troops from the whole world as a result of internal conflict within the country, as well as a controversial executive order by the Shannonite government. China is further collapsing as a result of ethnic separatism, political squabble and economic crisis. In response, the Chinese government orders militant purge of ethnic minorities and opposition parties in the country. Martial law is declared by the JDF in Japan as political violence intensifies. ISIS finally collapses. UN, CIS, SCO, WTO, Mercosur, the Commonwealth of Nations, the Eurasian Economic Union and other intergovernmental organizations (except the EU) dissolves. Many countries (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Canada, Australia, etc) continuously collapses while armed conflict breaks out in the process.
2037: California secedes from the US after the Californian National Party (CNP) overthrows the California Democrats, prompting the federal government to considering invasion, but is distracted by the internal strife that is arriving much faster to the country, as well as the frequent conflict between blue states and red states. Texas and Puerto Rico also secedes from the US without facing federal invasion. Meanwhile, Mexico collapses, prompting mass immigration from the ensuing chaos, with a majority of Mexican refugees finding sanctuary in Texas, which has a considerably large Hispanic population. Meanwhile, North Korea ultimately collapses with South Korea, still under Hyeongje influence, ensuingly occupying the country. During this occupation, the South Korean government dismantles both nuclear weapons and concentration camps, as well as modernizing the country, punishing North Korean government officials, shutting down North Korean propaganda, absorbing the KPA into the South Korean military, setting up a provisional military government to oversee the occupation and sending humanitarian aid to the starving North Korean population.
2038: Russia takes advantage of the US internal crisis by adding the secessionistic Alaska to its sphere of influence. Meanwhile, the US breaks further down as both blue states and red states, as well as California, Texas and Puerto Rico, are arming up their state defense forces and USNG personnel for an incoming civil war, just as the federal government is considering to gain back control over these states through military action. Israel and Lebanon both descends into chaos due to political violence and economic crisis. After a year of occupation, North Korea officially reunifies with South Korea. Poland is able to free itself from both Germany and Russia, but is equally damaged beyond recognition and would take years to rebuild itself from scrap.
2039: As Iran falls further into chaos due to anti-government protests, Saudi-Arabia ultimately faces the same problem as a seemingly pro-democratic revolution erupts against the royal family. Meanwhile, Belgium descends into chaos due to emerging conflict between Wallonia and Flanders while the German Civil War further intensifies. The US government is further weakened by territorial loss and armed conflict while Japan is forced to minimize its involvement in foreign affairs. Due to these situations plaguing the world, Korea closes its borders and stands vigilant against both mass immigration and foreign aggression. Meanwhile, chaos strikes New Zealand, New Guinea and other Pacific nations.
2040: Mormon fundamentalists successfully takes control of Utah and Arizona, thus re-establishing Deseret, while the US government loses further control over both blue states and red states, whose respective state defense forces are fighting each other, the US military, California, Texas, Deseret and smaller armed groups. Ultimately, the German government gets overthrown by right-wing militants who promptly captures Albert Krusch and his inner circle. Four months later amid trial against the former government, Krusch and his comrades are executed by hanging in the town square of Berlin. The EU officially collapses and many European countries have descended into chaos while Germany, now under a provisional right-wing government and with financial support from Switzerland, struggles to regain stability while purging itself of left-wing politics and hunting down other members of the old Kruschist government. Meanwhile, pro-Kruschist groups seeks to thwart the new government and restore Kruschism as the dominant state ideology. The UK descends into chaos due to economic debt and political conflict while Ireland collapses as the NIRA and remnants of the Irish government now focuses on restoring stability in both Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Saudi monarchy gets eventually overthrown by pro-democratic revolutionaries, who are then fighting Sunni Islamic fundamentalists for control over the country.
2041: The US government officially collapses following a series of drone strikes against the White House and other key federal locations, sparking absolute dissolution of the country with the Republicans and the Democrats seeking to restore the country while still hating each other and controlling their respective states. China officially collapses after the CPC headquarters gets bombed by an airstrike while Russia is crumbling under economic collapse, just as war erupts between the government and various armed groups. The Middle East totally descends into chaos as the Kurds struggle to maintain their independence. The Iranian government eventually collapses as a result of popular uprising and economic crisis.
2042: Both Latin America and the rest of the UK eventually collapses. India, currently balkanized, is seeing a chance in regaining stability (but not able to achieve reunification), while Pakistan isn't doing well. Some other parts of the world goes chaotic. Republicans and Democrats struggle to succeed the US as various secessionist countries and armed groups attack their respective states.
2043: The US is officially gone as it is now controlled by various countries that were born out of it. Armed conflict still prevail in the US as Republicans, Democrats and other US factions antagonizes each other, both diplomatically and militarily. European countries, especially Germany, starts to slowly recover and China is officially split up, but with a possible chance at stability among its successor states in a few years.
2044: Russia officially splits up as a result of political uproar and economic crisis, although only its European half is doing fine while armed conflict, disease and famine plagues the Asian half. Some African countries recover a little bit while the Middle Eastern chaos starts to slowly die down. Japan attempts to invade Korea, but to no avail due to Korean military strength.
2045: The post-US situation still remains critical while Latin America recovers a little bit, although the situation also looks dire. Armed border conflicts breaks out in Eastern Europe, East Asia, South Asia and the Middle East.
2046: Armed conflict breaks out between Korea and Manchuria. Europe starts to regain stability, although hostility between individual states continues.
2047: Some countries in West Asia and North Africa starts to Westernize while some regional disputes persists. Exploitation of natural resources slows down greatly as sustainable development resumes.
2048: Ethnic violence breaks out in Central America and Southeast Asia while Japan gets a new "economic miracle".
2049: Armed conflict persists in the Asian half of Russia between various factions, while border clashes breaks out across the former US.
2050: South Africa, Central America, India and Southeast Asia regains stability, but ethnic tensions still prevail in South Africa.
2051: The situation in the US calms down, but remains uncertain. While armed conflict has died down, the situation in China still looks dire as successor countries continues to antagonize each other.
2052: Kruschism enters European mainstream politics again, although it is still despised by most nationalist governments, as well as being banned and persecuted in Germany.
2053: Brazil recovers greatly and a few more African countries starts to slowly regain stability. The European half of Russia starts planning for eventual reunification with the Asian half.
2054: The rest of South America recovers, although a few countries remain weak and fragile, which leaves them vulnerable to those who are now strong and hungry.
2055: Pacific countries starts to fully recover.
2056: Stable countries sends both humanitarian and economic aid to recovering ones in an effort to end global crisis.
2057: As the world recovers from three decades of turmoil, international cooperation slowly resumes.
2058: The UN is formally re-established.
2059: Technological progress starts to sped up.
2060: The RP begins.
