• Introduction

Welcome to "The Library".

Here you will find a variety of unauthorized copies of supposed supraxan texts. In this literary salad, you will find news, chronicles, biographies, reports and theses.

Supraxa is a nation located on a continent where life is difficult, just like everywhere else. This nation addicted to coffee, totalitarianism and the use of the courier new font, is probably one of the nations with the strongest isolationist policies. It seems difficult to blame them, because it is only necessary to review a map of Supraxa (surely one several years old, since it is difficult to get modern maps due to these policies) to reason the following: Mother Nature decided to create a habitat that would spread such antisocial and militaristic attitudes.

However, the bad does not take away the beautiful and Supraxa has a beautiful literature, or at least a non-completly terrible text writters. Maybe this beauty is just a passing attraction caused by the difficulty of getting some supraxan text, this may be called "curiosity" for the unknown or "attraction" for the strange, but the truth is that an intellectual proud or stunted by rumors about Supraxa easily finds some excuse to sit down and read a set of freshly printed A4 sheets believing that these are some pirated copy of the supraxan literature.

1930 - Part 1

The 30 ': the beginning of the end.
by Celen Fusren.
(1982)

I.A look to the past

After the wars of independence, the states that were southeast of the Del Canto mountain range were four; the State of Masacria, the State of Alnira, the State of Sunicia and the State of Dulanta. These four states of democratic governments were unified due to the economic and military benefits that this union supposed, becoming "The Dominions of Supraxa". The triumphs in the "war of the southern crown" and the "trans-mountain wars" resulted in a huge territorial expansion far beyond del Canto mountain range, occupying more than half of the continental territory of Ñutiza.

Supraxa had conserved the territories conquered during the old wars and more than half of the national territory belonged to those conquests. With the passage of time, the feelings and independence ideas of the northern states began to become uncontrollable and in 1930 political groups arose that demanded to regain the independence that Supraxa had taken from them.

II.The born of Epeza

Supraxa in 1935 was a democratic republic with a federal government and presidential elections every six years. The dominant party was the "Union Democratica Civil" (UDC) that governed with President Gregorio Maldonado, its closest opposition was the "Liga Comunista" (LC).

The sectors of the left had been demanding better working conditions and were gaining more and more ground at the polls. The most extreme communists were influenced by Leninism and demanded the destruction of the democratic state to unify the entire continent into a non-class nation.

The right-wing sectors, although they were unified in the UDC, were internally cracked. On the first way there were the heads of small and medium-sized companies, who asked for financial bonds to invest in machinery, guarantees against bankruptcy due to workers' revolts and the increase in tariffs on imported products, on the other way the heads of the biggers private industries demanded a reduction in taxes and lower tariffs on foreign trade.

On August 7, 1935, a group of hooded paramilitaries infiltrated at 03:25 a.m. at the "Mona yan" regiment, in the state of Grula. This action was the beginning of a series of uprisings in the northern states. The government of President Maldonado had to transport regiments from the southern states.

Taking advantage of the upheavals in the northern states, the communists secretly consolidated the National Proletarian Alliance (ANP) and took over important factories in the south of Supraxa.

In the north, the Maldonado government achieves the surrender and reincorporation of the main rebel separatist regiments to the government forces, mainly due to numerical superiority and a brilliant and risky strategy of General Ivalon Bristol. The investigations carried out by the military bodies loyal to the government themselves determined that the uprisings had been financed by important business groups based in the southern states.

Seeking to prevent future uprisings in the north, the UDC, with a majority in congress, grants special permits to President Maldonado. With sufficient authority, Maldonado carries out an ambitious project; change the name of the nation to "Union of the Epeza states", appoint a second administrative capital in the northern states and deregulate foreign trade policies.

In April 1936, the Union of the States of Epeza was officially born with two capitals according to their emissivity, the northern capital is Morca and the southern capital is Ciudadela.
