1. Does your nation have a standing army? Yes, we have the Australic Defence Force (ADF)

2. Are your nation's armed forces under civilian control? Yes; just like all occupations, the military is collectivised and operates as the chief branch of the Federal Consolidated Syndicate for Defence (F.C.S.D.), a branch of our executive government.

3. Is the Head of the State also the Commander-in-Chief? (State who is CiC in case it's not the HoS) No. The Commander-in-Chief equivalent would be the Cabinet Minister for Defence, who is the elected chairperson of the F.C.S.D.

4. The military pays allegiance to The people, and thus by extension the constitution and state as both are expressions of the will of the people.

5. Is conscription mandatory in your nation? Conscription is explicitly banned by our National Constitution. Conscription, for the Great War, was one of the chief issues that led to our nation's revolution. However, Civil Service is mandated, and as such all able citizens are expected to assist the ADF in civil defence during wartime should an enemy nation breach our borders. Do note that Civil Service is not an exclusively military duty; all citizens go through basic military training, but instead of military service (and/or service in a Communal Militia, our nation's equivalent to gendarmerie/police) one may instead undertake an apprenticeship in pretty much any occupation.

6. Who is mandatorily conscripted in your nation? As above; all citizens who are able are expected to complete two years of Civil Service after highschool (so from 18-20, or upon citizenship for immigrants). Those exempt from the military portion of Civil Service include those deemed physically or mentally incapable and conscientious objectors (including religious objectors).

7. How long does conscription last? Civil Service lasts for two years (over which military training/service is spread throughout in conjunction with apprenticeship) whilst civil mobilisation in an invasion scenario would last until the invasion has concluded. Do note that during Civil Service and Civil Mobilisation, a citizen cannot be forced to leave their Commune or undertake an offensive maneuver - the ADF is the only force that can be authorised to make counter-offensive maneuvers.

8. Are there reasons that make refusal to serve plausible by law? As mentioned in 6°

9. What percentage of the total population is considered to be active military personnel? Of Australia's official population of 35,910,000 there are about 130,000 active service members within all branches of the military (Navy, Munitions and Logistics, Auxillary, and Airforce incuded, Communal Militias excluded), or 160,000 (including Communal Militias). This does not count the population of the disputed New Guinea Territory.

10. What percentage of the total population is considered to be reserve military personnel and support staff? Technically speaking, every able adult citizen is on reserve.

11. Does your military have stakes or totally controls enterprises? Only in defence industries (i.e. weapons manufacturing, naval shipwrights), as those industries are collectivised and organised as sister branches of the F.C.S.D. to the ADF.

12. Does your military have representation in your parliament? The military exists within the executive government and as such, through regulations and its cabinet representation, has some measure of legislative power. In addition, the AVL (ANZAC Veterans' League) is a registered political party with several seats in Parliament, though it is considered vestigal and is included in government more as a formality.

In addition, the ruling party of the disputed New Guinea Territory, the NGL (New Guinea League) is highly militarized.

13. Is your nation under military junta rule? No.

14. If yes, is this temporary or permanent? -

15. Does your military have unofficial strong influence on your country's politics? No.

16. What's the minimum and maximum age to join the military? 20 is the minimum age to fully enlist. There is no upper limit, though those in advanced age or with combat prohibitive health are generally found more accessible auxillary and support positions, or referred to other occupations.

17. Are there any limits on who can join the army besides age? Citizenship and health are the primary requirements besides age.

18. Has your country been at war in the last 10 years? Technically, as a state of Cold War has existed between Australia and Indonesia for many decades.

19. Has there been a conflict within your country in the last 10 years? No.

20. Is your country in a military alliance through an organization or agreement with a second nation? Yes. Australia maintains several defensive pacts.

21. What % of the GDP and of the National Budget are spent on military? The F.C.S.D. is legally bound to an ordinary expenditure of up to 9.1% of the annual government expenditure, but typically remains well within this bound.

22. How would you describe your government's treatment of veterans? Veterans are afforded all the same universal rights and services as all other citizens.

23. How would you describe the societal treatment of veterans? Veterans are well respected by the general population.

24. Are there special benefits for veterans? Some, though mostly at the local level as opposed to state or federal.

25. If yes what kind of benefits?
Communes may choose to observe such things as veteran discounts.

26. Does the army patrol the streets or have law-enforcement powers within your country? Technically our Communal Militias are a branch of the army, but they do not patrol the streets utilising military grade equipment.

27. Are your nation's law enforcement agencies militarized, and if yes to what degree? Generally, Militia do not carry lethal weapons unless responding to a warranting situation, and are limited to non-automatic handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Nonlethal weapons are preferred when possible (except tear gas, as it is prohibited as a chemical weapon) ballistic vests are common, and militia generally use non-armored/non-weaponised vehicles (i.e. patrol cars, motorbikes). Communal Militia are just as much medics and emergency workers as police; they provide first aid in emergency situations whilst paramedics are en route, assist firefighters, and act as emergency marshals during times of disaster (i.e. bushfires, invasions, hurricanes).

28. Is there a Gendarmerie in your nation? Our Communal Militias are essentially Gendarmerie.

29. Is there a use of military courts for civilian offenses for non-military people? Military courts of any variety are prohibited by our constitution; all citizens have the right to equitable due process.

30. Are curfews or state of emergency enacted as of now? If yes for which stated reason? No.

31. Have curfews or state of emergency enacted in the last 5 years? If yes for which stated reason? No nationwide SoE has been declared in the past 5 years, but localised SoEs have been declared for natural disasters (i.e. hurricanes, bushfires, floods).

32. Are military parades frequent in your nation? Show of force type parades are rare, but military bands are common on holidays.

33. Is military/patriotic indoctrination present in media? Due to the horrors of the Great War and their mark on the national consciousness, media in our nation depicts war as an imperialistic and horrific waste of life, and the military's existence as a necessary deterrent.

34. Does your nation have military bases abroad? If yes how many? Australic troops abroad do garrison in our allies' bases (including Australic volunteer fighters/expeditionary forces that are not under direct government authority) but we do not operate our own bases outside of our national borders.

35. Are your citizens allowed to openly carry guns? This depends on the Commune; in rural communes it is typically allowed, whilst in urban communes it is prohibited.

36. How many weapons there are per 100 people? There are about 240 firearms per 100 adult citizens.

37. Are your citizens allowed to organize armed militias? All Communal Militias are organised from citizens within a Commune. There can be only one Militia per commune.

38. Is your military transparent in its expenditures? Very much so.

39. What type of hardware does your military have and how old is it averagely? Our military hardware is typically considered contemporary to our neighbours. Most equipment is between 1-20 years old, though vehicles and other large assets are commonly retrofitted rather than replaced. Our national service rifle, the Owens AD-6 Semi-Automatic Rifle, has been our mainstay since 1961, with only minor refinement.

40. Are your MBT,IFV,APC,helicopters, planes etc enough to transport your whole personnel at once or there's need for transport trucks? The ADFs transport capabilities should cover all active service members, but should this not be the case (either due to a lack of supply or logistical issues) civilian vehicles can be commandeered in an invasion scenario/natural disaster.
August 23° - Australia draws with Yucatan 1-1 in their DSAFF Rose Cup Debut. |May 25° - Australia is narrowly eliminated from the DSAFF Comrades' Cup, tying with Jerno on points - 1 win and 2 ties each - but coming short on net goals. | May 7° - The Australics, the National Europic Football Team, departs for Talamia to compete in the inaugural DSAFF Comrades' Cup. | May 1° - The nation begins its week-long celebration of the 101° anniversary of the May Day Revolution.

A traumatized, but recovering, MT-PMT constitutional monarchy consisting of a personal union of Prussia and Poland. A land of rampant gun ownership, governmental schizophrenia, militias with enough heavy weapons to turn an armored division into a badly-shaken battalion of light infantry, and terrified USAF personnel counting down the days until they rotate back home.

1. Does your nation have a standing army?
    Yes.
2. Are your nation's armed forces under civilian control?
Depends. As of present, yes but in the case of any genuine medium to large scale conflict, final authority is almost certain to shift to the armed forces proper. A notable example would be in 2043 with the SC2.
3. Is the Head of the State also the Commander-in-Chief?
    Yes.
4. The military pays allegiance to
    Formally, the people.
5. Is conscription mandatory in your nation?
Yes, though through the later 21st Century the system has shifted to encompass "fields of employment directly aiding in the material defense of the country" (e.g. internship/employment under select engineering, logistical, and research groups will constitute as 'service' by law but almost always lack traditional service benefits).
6. Who is mandatorily conscripted in your nation?
Citizens aged 16-22 passing physical and mental wellness qualifications.
7. How long does conscription last?
    Two years.
8. Are there reasons that make refusal to serve plausible by law?
Being deemed physically or mentally unfit for any type of service as per question 6.
9. What percentage of the total population is considered to be active military personnel?
    ~7.27%
10. What percentage of the total population is considered to be reserve military personnel and support staff?
    ~9.20%

11. Does your military have stakes or totally controls enterprises?
    No.
12. Does your military have representation in your parliament?
By law, no. In practice, yes.
13. Is your nation under military junta rule?
    No.
14. If yes, is this temporary or permanent?
15. Does your military have unofficial strong influence on your country's politics?
    Certainly.

16. What's the minimum and maximum age to join the military?
    16 - No upper limit
17. Are there any limits on who can join the army besides age?
Those suffering from certain mental illnesses may be barred from joining the armed forces.

18. Has your country been at war in the last 10 years?
    Not formally.
19. Has there been a conflict within your country in the last 10 years?
    No.
20. Is your country in a military alliance through an organization or agreement with a second nation?
    No.

21. What % of the GDP and of the National Budget are spent on military?
    ~3.7% GDP, ~30.8% National Budget

22. How would you describe your government's treatment of veterans?
    For traditional service veterans, well.
23. How would you describe the societal treatment of veterans?
    Fair.
24. Are there special benefits for veterans?
    Yes.
25. If yes what kind of benefits?
Cheaper state healthcare and tertiary education options, certain tax exemptions.

26. Does the army patrol the streets or have law-enforcement powers within your country?
    No.
27. Are your nation's law enforcement agencies militarized, and if yes to what degree?
Yes. Most police forces are able to easily acquire surplus military hardware or buy directly from defense manufacturing groups. Armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, various types of helicopters, and UCAVs are widely fielded, modified for law enforcement use. An extreme example would be the police operation of several ex. SMSDF helicopter destroyers in the Makspierre Wider Bay region.
28. Is there a Gendarmerie in your nation?
    Yes, though somewhat limited.

29. Is there a use of military courts for civilian offenses for non-military people?
    No.
30. Are curfews or state of emergency enacted as of now? If yes for which stated reason?
    No.
31. Have curfews or state of emergency enacted in the last 5 years? If yes for which stated reason?
    No.

32. Are military parades frequent in your nation?
No, though SMSDF forces make frequent transit through the nation's canals and artificial bays.
33. Is military/patriotic indoctrination present in media?
Not blatantly. Synnian patriotism has become largely ingrained in the country's pseudocultures and is an integral part of the original Synnian anti-ideology. Patriotism and such are often less apparent in media and society as a whole but still present and self-reinforcing.

34. Does your nation have military bases abroad? If yes how many?
Yes. There is a Synnian airfield and dockyard in Eastern Greenland, a Synnian-operated shipyard in Silran (Antarctic) waters, an airbase in Japan's Keiji region, and a radar installation in Northeastern Siberia.

35. Are your citizens allowed to openly carry guns?
    Yes.
36. How many weapons there are per 100 people?
An estimated 4800+ firearms per 100 citizens. This number rises to 5500+ with the inclusion of other military hardware falling under the category of "weapons".
37. Are your citizens allowed to organize armed militias?
    Yes.

38. Is your military transparent in its expenditures?
    Yes, barring obvious Black Projects.
39. What type of hardware does your military have and how old is it averagely?
Most fielded hardware, especially in the aerospace and aeronautical fields is some 1-2 arbitrarily defined "generations" above the verse's other "high powers" (e.x. LEMP, Panama, YC), this being attributed to stunted growth for the majority of the rest of the planet through the mid to late 21st Century. Synnian equipment is generally replaced every 12-15 years with notable exceptions being retained or upgraded.
40. Are your MBT,IFV,APC,helicopters, planes etc enough to transport your whole personnel at once or there's need for transport trucks?
No. Synnian doctrine puts little to no emphasis on having boots on foreign ground and there is little need to move large sums of personnel across the country itself.

25. If yes what kind of benefits? N/A

33. Is military/patriotic indoctrination present in media? No - quite the opposite, people are raised to fear militarisation and educated on the horrors of war

34. Does your nation have military bases abroad? If yes how many? No

35. Are your citizens allowed to openly carry guns? Very strictly no
36. How many weapons there are per 100 people? >1 if not 0

1. Does your nation have a standing army? Yes
2. Are your nation's armed forces under civilian control? VlaRiSsiA exists with a rigid totalitarian hierarchy which places the military above the general citizenry and under the whim of the Party. So no, the military is not under civilian control but rather the civilians under military control.
3. Is the Head of the State also the Commander-in-Chief? (State who is CiC in case it's not the HoS) The Supreme Leader is technically the supreme will of all military activity, although the official commander is the Supreme Commander who answers directly to the Supreme Leader.
4. The military pays allegiance to The Party, and the Supreme Leader.
5. Is conscription mandatory in your nation? Yes.
6. Who is mandatorily conscripted in your nation? Everyone, male and female, above the age of 16.
7. How long does conscription last? For regular citizens, the minimum is 3 years but for those deemed “physically destined for service”, they spend their whole lives in the military. The state assigns everyone their job which they work in for life, so it is not uncommon for people to spend their lives conscripted in the military.
8. Are there reasons that make refusal to serve plausible by law? Refusal does not exist, the populace is indoctrinated from birth to value military service as an essential aspect of life. Those who refuse simply disappear without a trace and with all evidence of their existence erased.
9. What percentage of the total population is considered to be active military personnel? 8%
10. What percentage of the total population is considered to be reserve military personnel and support staff? 12%. However the state can quickly mobilize the entire populace towards entirely military initiatives.

11. Does your military have stakes or totally controls enterprises? All enterprises are state owned. The military serves a massive aspect of the state economy meaning that it has significant influence in it and hundreds of millions of workers work for military controlled firms.
12. Does your military have representation in your parliament? The party is above a simple political organization in a parliament, and serves as a societal caste with total control. The military has significant representation in this entity and top military officials are seen with high positions in the party.
13. Is your nation under military junta rule? Officially no, since all power is concentrated in the Supreme Leader. However, seeing as the Supreme Leader was a military commander during the revolution and had military experience, he could technically be considered an autocratic military dictator.
14. If yes, is this temporary or permanent? The Supreme Leader’s absolute power and totalitarian reign is permanent and is not set to change or soften.
15. Does your military have unofficial strong influence on your country's politics? Strong would be an understatement, it is one of the key aspects of national society as a whole and the party takes a strongly militaristic stance because of it.

16. What's the minimum and maximum age to join the military? There is technically no minimum age, and the state as secretively been abducting newborns and raising them from birth in the military to becoming mindless killing machines. On the flip side, there are people in the military when they die.
17. Are there any limits on who can join the army besides age? There are only limits to not joining. Of course those too physically unfit to serve are exempt because they are executed or left to the dirtiest manual labor in the factories, but the eugenicist policies towards physical disability by the state has made these people rare.

18. Has your country been at war in the last 10 years? The country has always been in some sort of conflict with its borders with skirmishes, uprisings and proxy wars surrounding it. Internally, the state has indoctrinated the populace into believing there is perpetual attrition war on all sides, going to the point of bombing its own civilians of having soldiers commit atrocities. However, almost 2 decades ago VlaRiSsiA did face a really threatening war when invaded by the third Duloch which attempted to exterminate the nation as a whole and the devastation rapidly increased VlaRiSsiAn ultranationalist and militaristic sentiment.
19. Has there been a conflict within your country in the last 10 years? There have been the occasional uprisings on the borders, and the brutality of the state against the citizenry could be described as a one sided civil war. The brutal political landscape with perpetual political purges could also be seen as an internal conflict.
20. Is your country in a military alliance through an organization or agreement with a second nation? Despite VlaRiSsiA’s isolationist policies, it does have military alliances with a few other nations,

21. What % of the GDP and of the National Budget are spent on military? A third of the national production output is for the military.

22. How would you describe your government's treatment of veterans? As almost everyone is conscripted, veterans are treated as normal citizens. In fact, those who don’t serve have exceptional treatment, in that they are treated exceptionally negatively and usually are killed or disappeared before anything else. But those who served exceptionally in war are treated positively exceptional by the state with higher rations and 20 hour work days instead of the usual 22 hour workdays.
23. How would you describe the societal treatment of veterans? Like regular citizens. However those younger than the ones who served are expected to respect veterans. Those with heroic accomplishments are idolized.
24. Are there special benefits for veterans? Regular veterans have the special benefit of not being executed. The ones who served exceptionally do get benefits.
25. If yes what kind of benefits? Increased rations, slightly lower work days, less harsh living quarters, slightly more personal freedoms albeit still practically none.

26. Does the army patrol the streets or have law-enforcement powers within your country? The law enforcement are a subgroup of the armed forces, and are more or less just military personnel keeping internal order. So yes, the army more or less patrols the streets, and does so harshly with the totalitarian police state that VlaRiSsiA is.
27. Are your nation's law enforcement agencies militarized, and if yes to what degree? Extremely militarized, to the point that tanks often patrol the streets alongside the heavily armed and armoured personnel who do not hesitate to outright massacre illegal gatherings.
28. Is there a Gendarmerie in your nation? The law enforcement is technically one large gendarmerie being a subset of the armed forces.

29. Is there a use of military courts for civilian offenses for non-military people? There are no courts, those suspected of crimes are immediately punished or if lucky are set up for a public show trial done usually by party or military officials. The military typically executes these show trials as well as punishments and does so on the civilian populace.
30. Are curfews or state of emergency enacted as of now? If yes for which stated reason? Curfews are always enforced extremely strictly and militaristicly, albeit they are short considering that work days are 22 hours lmao
31. Have curfews or state of emergency enacted in the last 5 years? If yes for which stated reason? They have always been implemented

32. Are military parades frequent in your nation? Extremely. The military performs massive marches on a daily basis across the country and frequent shows of military might are in every aspect of life.
33. Is military/patriotic indoctrination present in media? That is an understatement. Military indoctrination is sewn into the very fabric of daily life with military propaganda constantly part of daily state media broadcasts. Shows of military might and patriotism never end and to question it is treason. Furthermore, the state media is intensely ultranationalistic to the point of having genocidal sentiment against entire ethnicities deemed antisocial.

34. Does your nation have military bases abroad? If yes how many? That is classified information, but yes. VlaRiSsiA has military bases in its allied and satellite states with estimates being in the hundreds.

35. Are your citizens allowed to openly carry guns? Regular citizens cannot carry firearms, as they are expected to spend their times working. But eventually everyone will have carried guns atleast once being part of the military and patrolling heavily armed. But regular civilian weapon ownership i does not exist however everyone is trained to use a weapon.
36. How many weapons there are per 100 people? There are approximately 230 weapons per 100 people
37. Are your citizens allowed to organize armed militias? No. All military organizations must be state affiliated, organized civilian militias are not allowed and will be punished with brutality.

38. Is your military transparent in its expenditures? No. The very structure of the VlaRiSsiAn state is teh opposite of transparent as very little is know about the inner workings and what is done, and party officials, civilians and soldiers all alike have little knowledge of anything other than their specific tasks
39. What type of hardware does your military have and how old is it averagely? The military possesses all types of military equipment in the most advanced and state of the art models always in production. Equipment is rarely over 3 years of age
40. Are your MBT,IFV,APC,helicopters, planes etc enough to transport your whole personnel at once or there's need for transport trucks? The sheer number of vehicles that have been mass produced has allowed for massive amounts of personnel to be able to be transported. However the sheer number of people conscripted as well as the number capable of being conscripted at any time requires massive amounts of trucks to be ready at any time.
VlaRiSsiA is a Shrekist Totalitarian Hyper-Stalinist Juche^2 Nazbol Thearchy created after the Great Ogrethrow in 2094. Has a massive WIP multi-nation lore. We don’t use most stats(our personal and political freedoms are negative 100 in canon)

A semi-pacifist, semi-defensivist nation located on an island on the lush planet Delotheaa. Has existed for over 10,000 years. Nothing else notable other than its compulsory vegetarianism and its unusual ability to repel invasions.

Current Queue: None.

1. Does your nation have a standing army? yes
2. Are your nation's armed forces under civilian control? partially
3. Is the Head of the State also the Commander-in-Chief? (State who is CiC in case it's not the HoS) The Sultan is the head of all government organisations, and the successor of the prophet on earth, the Caliphe of all faithful and the supreme warlord of the Hamidi Imperium, yes. But just as the religious functions are usually handled by the Shaykh al-Islām, the actual military leadership falls to the General Staff and the Great Headquarters that were established in the 1860s after the prussian model. Historically many Sultans have held military rank or were even educated in military establishments, but the last three Sultans have broken with that tradition. The current Sultan Mustafa VI. holds an economics degree and a doctorate in modern history, and rarely wears uniform, preferring either a business suit or traditional garb.
4. The military pays allegiance to His Imperial Majesty the Sultan and Caliphe and his officers, as the oath says.
5. Is conscription mandatory in your nation? yes
6. Who is mandatorily conscripted in your nation? all citizens over 19 years of age
7. How long does conscription last? 18 months
8. Are there reasons that make refusal to serve plausible by law? You can elect to do civillian service instead, and the criteria for armed service are actually rather stringent.
9. What percentage of the total population is considered to be active military personnel? 1,375%
10. What percentage of the total population is considered to be reserve military personnel and support staff? 12%

11. Does your military have stakes or totally controls enterprises? no, though the state arsenals and shipwrights provide the overwhelming majority of equipment and supply
12. Does your military have representation in your parliament? no
13. Is your nation under military junta rule? no
14. If yes, is this temporary or permanent? -
15. Does your military have unofficial strong influence on your country's politics? no

16. What's the minimum and maximum age to join the military? Consctiption, as mentioned above, is universal. You can elect to prolong your service if you fit the special criteria, maximum age is 50 for higher officers and 40 for regular soldiers
17. Are there any limits on who can join the army besides age? no.

18. Has your country been at war in the last 10 years? only minor insurgencies and "pacification actions"
19. Has there been a conflict within your country in the last 10 years? no
20. Is your country in a military alliance through an organization or agreement with a second nation? no

21. What % of the GDP and of the National Budget are spent on military? 11%

22. How would you describe your government's treatment of veterans?if neccessary psychiatric support, otherwise indifference.
23. How would you describe the societal treatment of veterans? from indifference to disdain, professional soldiers are mostly seen as empty-headed order-takers.
24. Are there special benefits for veterans? no
25. If yes what kind of benefits?

26. Does the army patrol the streets or have law-enforcement powers within your country? No
27. Are your nation's law enforcement agencies militarized, and if yes to what degree? Yes, the Gendarmerie is organized along military order. They do not employ anything heavier than APCs though.
28. Is there a Gendarmerie in your nation? Yes, in fact there is no regular police force.

29. Is there a use of military courts for civilian offenses for non-military people? There are no military courts. The Sultans Law is meted out in the Sultans Courts, same for every subject. This has been firm policy of the Empire since the 1850s and the rule of reformist Sultan Mustafa IV.
30. Are curfews or state of emergency enacted as of now? If yes for which stated reason? States of Emergency are at times ordered for single regions of various sizes, those might include curfews. The core regions of the Empire haven't seen such since the first world war.
31. Have curfews or state of emergency enacted in the last 5 years? If yes for which stated reason? Al-Afghan was put under military law in 1999, until in 2002 the Taliban-insurrection was ended. Civillian rule has been re-established in 2003 with the elections to the regular Meclis-i-vilayeti, the regional parliament. Unfortunately it has shown neccessary to regularly enforce the Sultans Law with harder methods than are usually employed, and the Gendarmerie has been reenforced by units of the Sultans Army to have equipment availlable that is needed there: Helicopters and bombers to get rid of troublesome drug-farmers and their bosses. In the first few years the universal education decree of 1909 had to be enforced with a hard hand as well, same as in some other arab regions. Resurgent al-saud-clannists and other rebels at times try to usurp the Sultans authority over religious matters, and we had to bring the point home.

32. Are military parades frequent in your nation? The Sultans Birthday of course, and the day of the fall of Constantiniyye, are celebrated by parades.
33. Is military/patriotic indoctrination present in media? Partially... official news and messages are preceeded by a fanfare taken from the "Ordu Marşı" of old age, and the Sultan usually appears in uniform, as do most government officials. Diplomatic Uniform is very much alife in the empire, though often ridiculed by foreigners. Children lern the text of this and some other songs in school, and almost every subject would know melody and text when asked. The state media produces historical films that capture the efforts of those historical figures that fit the wanted image in a very favourable life, such as a 100-part series about Suleyman IV. and the first world war and how the Empire avoided WWII oder his rule. The official stance is that the Sultanate is after all an empire founded on conquest, from Hamid Ghazi and his few villages to 130 million subjects and the forming of the "Green Bloc" in the cold war.

34. Does your nation have military bases abroad? If yes how many? none.

35. Are your citizens allowed to openly carry guns? No, unlicensed firearms are of course illegal. Gun-ownership is fairly common, but restricted to sporting and hunting rifles. Proper storage has to be provided, and a handling and safety exam has to be taken.
36. How many weapons there are per 100 people? 7
37. Are your citizens allowed to organize armed militias? no.

38. Is your military transparent in its expenditures? partially.
39. What type of hardware does your military have and how old is it averagely? Most are of late-90s vintage, though modern equipment does exist in small quantities. The efforts to develop a domestic 4th generation MBT so far haven't brought fruit.
40. Are your MBT,IFV,APC,helicopters, planes etc enough to transport your whole personnel at once or there's need for transport trucks?

...the Army is fairly motorized, but of course no, we cannot transport our whole standing army of 850.000 in one go. An expeditionary force of up to 350.000 can be managed safely, or so the plans say, but our standing armies haven't actually left the country in over 200 years. The Navy maintains a sizeable submarine fleet that operates globally for nuclear deterrent, but surface units usually don't leave the black sea and the mediterranean behind. The last actual significant conflict and the last time War visited our homelands was the first world war with its british landings.
