Second Starsian Super League

Hello dear people and welcome back to a new newsreport brought to you from the second tier of Starsian football.
Last time we saw Lunar Prime take quite the lead in the league but they haven't won just yet, but other teams have to start doing their best now if they still want to have a shot at the title.
There is ten points between the first and second place, nothing is set in stone yet but a big lead is very comfortable and assuring for them.
Without further delay lets get into it though!

Alpine started playing better since they got from the last place, today Grand Celesta is their victim losing valuable points on the team and giving their opponents an advantage and Alpine an extra point.
No goals were scored and Alpine certainly showed a great bit of defence with their experienced squad.
Meanwhile Sazanaara beat Mangrove with two against one with a key role once again for South Newlandian Zachary Castillo scoring the winning goal and getting the full points for his team.
The South Newlandian has been the biggest surprise of the season and many bigger teams want to sign him since.
Demons Horn did beat Sandorius with the same score while Feida won against Phantom with a single lucky goal by Chavdar Aries.
Orpheus also suddenly won again, against the Crimson Hounds they proved to be too strong for them and capable of getting three much needed points for their team in the league.
Lastly was a draw between Fire Dragon and Lunar Prime both teams being unable to score against eachother.

Grand Celesta could celebrate a win again now, Fire Dragon was unable to beat them and one goal was enough to take all of the points home with them after an intense match with a thrilling end.
Further Lunar Prime once again played a draw surprisingly, this time with the Crimson Hounds defending themselves fiercely from the strong force that Lunar Prime is as a team with more talent then the average first tier team.
Orpheus managed to score some serious goals beating Phantom academy with five goals, Phantom managed to score two aswell but Orpheus just walked over them like it was nothing.
Feida won with big numbers too, four goals for against two goals from Sandorius giving them a well deserved win from a not too hard match.
Sazanaara won with one goal once again by Castillo bringing them closer to Lunar Prime again slowly but surely, Sazanaara has a strong team and is perhaps one of the only ones capable to pose a real threat to Lunar Prime.
Mangrove won simple against Alpine, Alpine is not in good shape this season and thats mainly because of their old players and physical disadvantage compared to younger teams.

Celesta started as always, this time with a one goal win on Mangrove who are pretty average but still not a bad team and it was a very equal match until Celesta scored and dominated the remaining time.
Alpine Academy takes a narrow loss against Demons Horn with a younger squad then Alpine and a stronger team overall they go through with three points goinh home with them placing them 6th in the current standings.
Sazanaara and Feida played a draw, both teams desperately need the points to catch up to Lunar Prime but were equally in strength with both being able to score three goals, great for the fans but not for the stats.
Sandorius managed to beat Orpheus, a match not important to give alot of credit too as they both have weak teams this season and are playing for nothing anymore then their own honor as a team.
Phantom surprised everyone by being the first team ever to win against Lunar Prime, it was no one else the Karina Crow a youth international who scored winning goal out of free kick and broke the unbeaten status of Lunar Prime, slowly but surely they are catching up to Lunar Prime and their advantage slowly turns into dust.
the Crimson Hounds lastly win against Fire Dragon with three against two goals, a good match of two decent teams.

Celesta won their match on the Crimson Hounds adding three more points to their score, they are in a solid third place and are still in the race for a promotion or even a championship if Lunar Prime doesn't get more points.
Phantom who won against Lunar Prime now loses against Fire Dragon getting put back in place by them with a neat goal from outside the box by Li Zheng a youngster from the youth league previously.
Lunar Prime lost alot of points but now even Sandorius manages to win against them with the help of the video referee, a penalty was given and from eleven meters they ofcourse didn't miss and it broke Lunar Prime's mentality, they were not able to equal the score making their advantage only two points.
Thats because Sazanaara after all did win their game, Castillo and Sunday shared the goals and managed to defeat a motivated Orpheus that still lacks in power to pose a serious threat to the top teams.
Feida wins an easy win on Alpine, they played lazily and let the old veterans run across the field before finally finishing it in the second half with a goal beating keeper Julia Bressing.
Lastly Mangrove takes more points and goes back to the top against after winning two nil against Demons Horn.

Celesta today finally takes the second place, after beating Demons Horn with three against two a loss from Sazanaara gives them the runners up position and a potential chance for promotion.
Mangrove is on a winning streak too, Feida is the victim losing with one goal to them by no one less then Adamson from Brookstation who proves himself to be a very good signing for the second tier team.
Orpheus against Alpine......two of the most worse teams have a match and still Alpine can't win, a two nil victory for Orpheus seals Alpine's fate and they after the match announced the coach would not get a new season already.
Alpine's club owner was furious to say at the very least.
Lunar Prime proved to be too strong for Sazanaara, it was the best match ever in the second tier with chances for both sides and great football but it was Ilona Frey who was signed from Phoenix's youth program who sealed the win for Lunar Prime.
Sandorius and Fire Dragon played a draw, nothing special two mediocre teams and no goals scored, pretty boring game and the fans had a waste of their money going to this match at all.
Phantom lost a second match in a row, crimson Hounds scored one goal and took the point, Phantom is a team with highs and lows this season and there is no telling what their real capability is.

Grand Celesta lost for the first time in a while, Phantom academy once again with Karina Crow scoring managed to defeat them making Phantom Academy a sort of a bad nightmare for strong teams.
Sandorius also had no good day, they lost against the Crimson Hounds and saw more points going away from them as they can't seem to find their real form this season despite some new players.
Sazanaara wins easily, Fire Dragon is beaten by a three goal diffrence with Castillo scoring a hattrick and Sunday scoring the fourth goal with only Li Zheng managing to atleast save the honor with one goal.
While on the other field Lunar Prime embarassed itself by losing against Alpine's old veterans with neither team scoring a goal, Lunar Prime despite their talent are a young team and the experienced veterans proved to be a challenge to them.
Orpheus won with a lucky goal on Mangrove and Feida did what it had to do against Demons Horn, win with two goals.

Second Starsian Super League

Welcome people, the last days of the second tier in Starsian football after which we will know the champions of the second tier.
Who will promote, who will make history for their club and which teams will be getting the last place and be covered in shame to hopefully do better next season again?
Thats all we will find out today and also will the champion play in the Liga B champions trophy so they will go international.

Celesta started with a draw against Feida which is pretty good as both teams have displayed high quality throughout the season and it was a high intensity match with both teams scoring twice.
Orpheus caused an upset by beating Demons Horn with one goal against all odds with a beautiful shot by Elise Rivera who comes from the pro youth program and has been a force driving the team forward this season.
Lunar Prime did what it had to, it won against Mangrove easily with two goals one by Kurz from a free kick and one for Frey from outside the box surprising the keeper completely with it.
Alpine won against Fire Dragon with Nepharan player Waisman being responsible for both goals and the three points for the team that has been the most disappointing this season.
Sazanaara kept the point diffrence at three points by winning against the Crimson Hounds with both goals coming from South Newlandian striker Castillo who has been linked with a possible transfer to Red Matador next season or a renewed 3 year Sazanaara contract.
Lastly a draw between Sandorius and Phantom with both scoring a single goal and sharing the points.

Celesta starts with a win against Sandorius, one goal is scored a great penalty shot perfectly in the lower corner untouchable for any goalie and a well deserved three points go back with them.
Sazanaara closed down the gap to only one point after a well deserved win on Phantom academy who kinda have a mediocre team to say at best and either win big or lose big this season but now help Sazanaara keep it interesting.
Alpine takes a second win against the Crimson Hounds now, Alpine takes now six points from two matches looking for a good finish of the season it seems after a terrible start earlier.
Fire Dragon won against Mangrove, with two against one goal in a pretty good match for their abilities.
Lunar Prime sadly played a draw against Demons Horn who fiercely defended their one point with success against relentless attacks from the Lunar Prime forwards that tried to score to win.
Orpheus lost in an intense match to Feida with two against three goals making it a great match with alot of goals and a very intense game with every player showing the best of their abilities.

Celesta wins more and more and this time Orpheus is their victim with a one goal diffrence and similar is it for Lunar Prime who also win with one goal from Kurz showing his great skill once again.
Demons Horn and Fire Dragon furthermore play a draw with both two goals scored and same goes to Mangrove and the Crimson Hounds who have exactly the same score and share their points.
Lasltly Phantom wins against Alpine with a single goal and Sazanaara wins against Sandorius with also one goal keeping the diffrence the same and making it all come down to the last two matches.

Sazanaara plays a draw but takes first place with alot of luck, their championship would be a dream coming true but they yet have a match to play after a draw against Celesta each team scoring twice.
Alpine won against Sandorius once again taking some more points at the end, Mangrove had a draw against Phantom while Demons Horn and the Crmson Hounds two rivals met aswell.
Ultimately Demons Horn took the win with one goal diffrence.
Feida won against Fire Dragon rather easily and Orpheus caused a major, major upset by defeating Lunar Prime placing them in the runners up position in which they will have to win next game at all costs.

the last matchday Celesta played Lunar Prime and Lunar Prime quickly made the first goal by Ilona Frey scoring a great goal and setting the pace for the entire game dominated by them.
Long was it one against nil, Lunar Prime was owning the game but then it was there, after an attack there was a counter attack with 3 Celesta players against only two defenders in the back.
Aries and Engel from Celesta made a perfect combination and it was Chavdar Aries who scored the equalizer which broke Lunar Prime realizing they were close to even losing this game this important game.
Fifteen minutes of assault on the goal of Celesta were survived and the game ended in a draw, they could only hope Sazanaara would lose.

Orpheus played a draw against Fire Dragon, Feida aswell against the Crimson Hounds and Demons Horn against Phantom Academy while Sandorius won against Mangrove now.

Alpine Academy played Sazanaara later that day Sazanaara knew a draw was enough so they played defensive, this is something they did the entire first half trying to break down Alpine's physical power.
However they did not attack either, they were also defending, that was strange.
After halftime they suddenly started attack though putting high pressure and eventually scoring by Waisman from Nephara as always their ace that has proven itself more then worthy this season.
After that a loud cheer was in the Lunar Prime stadium, but the match was not done yet and Sazanaara used all their power to full on attack now and with success because in additional time it was the one and only Zachary Castillo who scored the equalizers and more importantly he won the championship for Sazanaara!!!

Starsian Super League

Season 4 year 2027/2028

Hello there fellow football fans from across the multiverse, we'd like to welcome you to a brand new season of our most important football competition known as the Starsian super league.
Our news broadcasts will bring you news, statistics, updates and generally all information you need to know about this grand competition that will this year be more fierce then ever before witnessed in the 14 Stars.
Last year Phoenix took surprisingly the championship in the last season of our country's best player ever Maximillian Flare who has been our ace and our vice captain of the national team who is now retired but a coach starting this season.

Technological improvements

In terms of technology we advanced mainly on the side of the field this season, we no longer draw lines on the field but rather are these white lines part of the field and permanent from now on.
This saves costs for the clubs and is also better for the climate because we don't have to use so much of the products it was usually drawn with.

Further secondly we have decided to use a new football known as ''Smart football'' this football can give all it statistics such as the amount of air, the pressure, the damage and many more things that can prevent it from becoming over-used.
From there we can do regular repairs and also save materials that we usually needed to make new ones as it makes a football's lifespan 10 times better then it originally was.

Statistical changes

In terms of statistics Blizzard Academy has the most titles now standing at 3 titles and 1 for Phoenix Academy, further Ancient Forest and Almigthy Faith have been relegated to the second tier.
Promoted clubs Sazanaara FC and Lunar Prime Academy are the new entrants in the super league.
No clubs were added or removed from professional licensing.

Team previews

Blizzard Academy

Blizzard Academy also known as the champions team, they brought many strong players yet were not strong enough to take the title for a fourth time in a row having to leave that to Phoenix United.
However their team is aging, they will need to bring in new players soon which will be interesting to see if they are able to maintain their status as top-team or will they be getting less stronger as a team.

There is one new face in Blizzard's line-up for this year, which is 19 year old right midfielder Ksenia Gavrilova, replacing Nadya Cross who was born in Pyazhnaya the same nation as Orions star Lilia Tataurova is from.
We look forward to what plays this young talent will show us this season.

Desert Lions

Desert Lions once again nearly escaped relegation, for some reason this team doesn't seem to function right but it is still a group of good players which is why they once again will try to do better.
With a new coach 34 year old Daniel Carrick they hope to bring a young new and fresh influence in a team that has been a bit old and conservative in its nature with also two new signings.

Firstly on Left Back Jihar Sheraz has been replaced, he entered the last stage of his career and was not given a contract extension.
His place is taken by the 23 year old girl Astrid Iqbal from the nation of Eastfield Lodge an unknown nation that brought many talent in our league this season which we look forward too.
And finally Walid Shamarani has decided to quit aswell, he is replaced by Divyansh Naik from South Newlandia.

Port Vale FC

Port Vale has been doing good with their 3rd place last season staying competitive as always, however they too really want that title someday and have been really wanting to improve a little.
They lack just that winning edge, they don't need to change alot for that but they did sign one new player because Thomas Dunwell at age 33 decided it had been enough and left Port Vale as he no longer could compete.

He was replaced by Nepharan Jules Zeller a 24 year old Left Winger who knows how to play bringing the skills he developed back in Nephara to Port Vale where he hopes to become a prominent member of this team.

Greenville

Greenville has last season done less good then expected but they still have faith in coach Steve Woods who wishes to build upon the existing team and prefers to not get too much foreign signings.
No new additions are here for the team that ended 13th in last seasons standings with star players Tom Feeney and Jill Swyndon becoming a bit older and new player like Douglas McArthur and Kendra Halisovic gaining more experience and becoming rapidly better players each season that can now be compared to the players of top teams.

Team previews part 2

Phoenix United

Last years champions Phoenix United have turned themselves into a formidable team last year, Maximillian Flare once more shot them to an important win in the club history as they won the league.
After a saddening IFCF campaign they now aim to do their best in the league once again and they have had to fill in the open spaces left by Maximillian Flare who retired and Jack van Doorn who plays at a lower level now.

They have signed 2 more people from South Newlandia after Hunter Burnser proved to be a reliable and pretty decent addition to the team.
He will this season be getting accompanied by Maria Serra an 21 year old right midfielder and the topscorer of the second Starsian tier nobody less then the one and only Zachary Castillo who will inherit the spot of Maximillian Flare.

Red Bison

They narrowly avoided being relegated but the coach still had to take responsibility for this terrible season, Quentin Ramirez was sacked as manager and thats when the real challenge began.
With so much talent to make a real team of this group of players, after alot of searching they found someone who would hopefully be able to make this happen even if it was a huge challenge they'd be put at.
Red Bison had no player changes but the new coach was a shock to everyone, their new coach was nobody less then the one and only Maximillian Flare from Phoenix United who won the title last season.

the retired player already had his coaching qualifications and signed a contract with Red Bison stating that he hopes to bring positive energy to the team and go this season for a top 5 spot in the Super league.
While he is aiming high he has multiple national team players in the line-up and is capable of getting far with them.

Amazona United

Amazona, the team of data and pure logic ended 7th last season sadly missing out on IFCF but not a bad result given their players and they would be glad to build upon this existing team this season.
While Brittany Storm has become an international Sarah Nolan has made the womens team and will go with them to participate in the Jenna Raven cup later this season.
Amazona has an aging squad and will the coming seasons probably focus on bringing in more young players although they certainly hope to keep Charlie Neville for a little bit longer.

Mount Olympus

It is the team of the gods, Mount Olympus taking place midtable last season after a series of better seasons hope to return to the top 5 this year and contest the existing top teams like Orion, Omega and Phoenix.
They have been active in terms of transfers too, they have signed Graysao Sandora from Cardenao a youth talent from a nation that is relatively new to the multiverse but has been known to house alot of hidden talent.
He is predicted to be one of the best newcomers this season and will work together with national team striker Christian Fourseasons.

Omega

Omega is the team of the government itself, they sponsor and finance it as a means to promote sports and football talent across the country in a peaceful way which is appreciated by many.
However their 8th place last season was very dissapointing and they have to do better considering the amount of players they have from the international level and their very balanced squad.
For one player Roy Harvey it will be his last season as he already announced before the start of the season he will not extend his contract with Omega as his age has been catching up to him.

Orion

It is the team that should have been champions already, losing the championship once again but now to Phoenix their hunt for a title continues while the general distrust in coach Cadilia grows slightly.
Orion has now twice lost a title that was nearly certain, once to Blizzard and once to Phoenix and they want this season to be theirs because there has been no development since Valerian left as captain long ago.
Bilal Cruz joined as a new addition from the Youth football program a 20 year old defender while the young average age of Orion is seen by many critics as the reason why they did not win a single title yet.
They believe that Orion will get stronger every year but has to keep developing in order to advance.

Haunted FC

With a mediocre place like always Haunted closed last years season, they have a good and balanced team with young and experienced players that always seems to do decently which they are okay with.
This year no developments were made but continued with the current team with two uncertain factors of Mara Starfall and Yuka Nakata for the future but overall a strong team to contest a higher spot then last season.

New Starsian Super League

Due to my exam year being more troubled then i thought and will continue to be, the Super League will be restarted soon and i am currently gathering the needed data to restart it.
For those who did have players in my league please know the following.

You can assume your players did play the seasons if that is what you want and have had regular practice, if you wish to void them due to being so long gone thats also fine its not my call to make.
However my sincere apologies go out to those because i should have made an announcement earlier and i have not acted in good responsibility like i should have which may or may not have damaged people's stories.

My new league will have new teams, maybe a similar theme but nothing will be the same.
It will be IC'ly explained as the cause of the league imploding from internal struggle in its management preventing league and national teams from taking part until now again.

Starsian Super League returns!

After a long abscence the stars once more shine

After years, 5 years to be exactly since the imploding and financial crisis within the association our national sport finally returns to center stage where it belongs and can be enjoyed by the entire multiverse.
However during this time players have come and go, all previous foreign players have returned to their home countries since the clubs just no longer had work for them and it was very sad to see this happen.

However in this season we can assure you of the best football, both from Starsian players and from one of the many players from abroad that have put faith in our nation to make this new league a success.
Our association now also has a new president, with great joy we announce that Marcus Blade former captain and ace striker of the Starsian national football team is now the president of the football association.
He is very known among players and he is a figurehead for a new generation of Starsian football that purely revolves around the sport and no longer around the money that comes with it as we look into the future.

New teams and old teams

With a new league also come new teams, sadly teams like Red Bison, Universal FC and many others have not survived the financial crisis but with help of the central government also new clubs could get their license.
Some other clubs merged together to bond their power, this season for this development alone proves to be one of the most exciting seasons of all time as we will discover which team after all those years has the best players.
Both young and new players will have their chance to play themselves into the national team this season as they have to re-select the teams due to the earlier implosion of the league which also affected the national team.

Only a handful players of the top category like Kira Blade and Holly Moonlight are sure to keep their spots and among them many other experienced players who will be staying on the team.
But first and foremost this season will be our new league, the Super League is known for its competitive nature and good opportunities for young players to develop their skill to become better players in the future.
All teams will try to obtain the title this year and we can say that all teams this season are nearly equally skilled and even this year there already are foreign players in the league again who are willing to play.
Lastly there is a special notable mention we wish to make, with great respect we welcome Adrian Broskov (73) back in the league after retiring from league football at age (67) and has broken the record for being the oldest coach ever in our league.

All teams who compete for the title this season are, Ancient Forest, Star Unicorn, Rose Gryphon, Phoenix United, Blizzard Academy, Cascade Academy, Desert Lions FC, Pegasus Orb FC, Equinox United, Storm Wolves Academy, Amazona United and Mount Olympus FC.
In the coming days we are gonna introduce every team, the changes and their story to you to learn more about these teams and their background aswell as their capabilities and star players.

We hope that we will see each and everyone of you once again here to watch this league with us, our football is back, our nation is back and our pride is back and we are here to stay no matter what.

Ancient Forest FC, the most mysterious team of the league and known for their odd types in the squad.
This professional side in the previous league was considered one of the weakest teams, however this was wrongly thought so as they won plenty of matches against the odds that all seemed to be against them.
Thanks to their good management they could survive the crisis only forced to get rid of older players and all their foreign signings as Ancient Forest never had been a team with a large budget to afford stronger players.
In this new league no one really knows where they stand, it is said that their new squad is far more advanced then their previous players and this also resulted in several internationals and youth internationals being on their team.

Coach Ozray Karazhan has been a former Starsian international himself and is known for good balanced playstyles and is experienced in the field of coaching where he in the previous league coached other clubs too.
Ancient Forest has many new players, it is unsure who are really the stars of this new team but former youth champion Naimee Chiruchu is one of their new talents and also goalkeeper Christian Fischer made headlines after being selected for the U21 squad.
In total a very balanced squad from a team that lives and trains in the rural areas of the country and train mostly by nature itself explaining a strong physical power and often great balance and endurance on the field.

Lastly its known that they are only one of the very few teams that kept their original form and returned to the league, Ancient Forest stands firm among large clubs like Phoenix United and Blizzard Academy that also return.
Ancient Forest have by even surviving the great collapse shown that they are a more then capable side and we wish them the most of luck this season in the race for the first new league title and a spot in the IFCF competitions that this year also can be qualified for again with only the top teams of our country qualifying for a spot in thee tournaments.

Star Unicorn, a new side in the football world but a team with great potential that managed to sign some of the big names in the league and also has alot of youth internationals.
Star Unicorn was formed during the great collapse by Starlight FC and Unicorns United (Starsian 3rd tier teams) with the ambition to combine their powers to make a professional club for those who really loved the sport instead of the money.
Professional sides Greenville and Port Vale FC collapsed and Star Unicorn that was just formed grabbed its chance and offered all players from those two teams that wanted a contract on the new team to give a head start to the new club.
Among others players like Niah Jennings, Rowena Watson, Jessica Heartfeldt and Douglas McArthur signed for the new team and with these players the team also managed to get its pro license despite still having a relatively small budget.

Further Star Unicorn is really a team from the big cities, they bring people from the urbanized areas together and are quite the opposite of Ancient Forest relying on hard work and a sport and education combination to guide players from child to adult.
Coach of the first team Justin Simons is also quite young, its his first season as a coach and it was a risk signing him but he has very notable experience as a player for Omega, the government sponsored team of the old league.
He hopes to bring his experience to these younger players and inspire them to make their ambitions a reality in this season, they are considered a team slightly stronger then the average but not among the top teams.

Star Unicorn lacks the budget to attract national stars or foreign players which is holding them back by alot, however their own youth is considered very good with the siblings Eva and Matthias Weber considered the teams future stars and who are currently both youth internationals for our country and also in the senior team it is expected more players are to be selected for the national team after this season as the national team lacks currently alot of experienced players.

Rose Gryphon

Rose Gryphon, its actually a team that used to be in the league but under a diffrent name.
Formerly this team was known as the Black Rose Academy, however this name became controversial after the great collapse for being too dark and depressive and a lack of positive portraying to the outer world, therefore a new name was chosen.
Rose Gryphon was the decided on as the new name for this club, however along with this also new management and new players came to the club and as old players retired new ones started to take their places in the squad.
No one of the old squad returned, most of them were aging players but others also had quit the sport after the great collapse seeking their work in diffrent areas and sadly Rose Gryphon had to build an entire new team from the ground up.

Coach Juliëtte Moreau who stayed even during the collapse was tasked with this, but not many good players wanted to sign as Black Rose was not known as a strong team and had been bad in the news after the collapse.
Only Soraya Maharawan and Rosalind Sigiward who played in the second tier of the Starsian league did accept the offer to be able to show their skill on the highest level known in the entire nation, besides them Moreau searched in their region for new talent as the teams language is and stayed French which was only spoken in one specific province making it harder to find good players.

Most players are not very strong and Rose Gryphon is considered to be one of the weakest teams, only striker Chloé Simon and Sandrine Giroud are known as potential future talents and Rose Gryphon will likely look for foreign improvement in the coming seasons.
Rose Gryphon is a club from the only french speaking province which is a province on the countryside with alot of agriculture but also known as one of the top tourist locations and as one of the most friendly locations and best holiday destinations for tourists of which billions visit the nation each year for our good weather and culture.

Phoenix United, another returning team but this is not just any team its one of the best national teams that exist together with maybe Blizzard Academy the best of the nation.
Phoenix easily survived the collapse with their large budget but took certainly hits and it were the higher ups and older players that paid the price of these economic hits to the club to ensure the fans did not pay the price either.
Further Phoenix Academy managed to get extra quality in their squad by the collapsing Red Bison and offered all talented players a contract to play for Phoenix which many did with Nicholas Valverde being the most controversial one as many teams wanted to sign the talentful keeper who is more then likely to be selected for the national team at the end of the season.

Ricardo Pescado a former national team player is the new coach and he managed to keep alot of talent in the squad combined with some new youth players in the U21 squad but also new foreign signings this season.
Unfortunately they had to release their other players during the collapse since there was simply no work and they wanted to return to their home nations respectively and they were given compensation by the association.
In the new season two new signings from Oberour Ar Moro joined as free agents this being Stevan Latreille and Kilian Thibourst in the defence being experienced yet youthful players that hopefully will improve the backline of Phoenix United.

Phoenix United is a team from the southern cities, where the sun always shines and the temperatures are hot, Phoenix United has been home to many national heroes like Marcus Blade one of the best strikers ever and also Maximillian Flare who was known as the student of Marcus Blade and later followed in his footsteps until his retirement in his late 30s a few years ago.
While Phoenix United is a strong team, the future for them in unsure and it is unknown how they will do this season with the new players but they are marked as potential title candidates and guaranteed IFCF football according to the bets, only time will tell though if this is actually the reality or the change will drag this new team down.

Blizzard Academy

Blizzard Academy, another returning team and together with previously mentioned Phoenix United probably the best team in the entire country full of talent and experience once again.
Blizzard has in the last years regained its form by replacing their old legendary squad with younger star players, each player is an individual talent and there is no player on this squad that wouldn't belong in the national team.
Only three players of the old team remained also to bring over their experience to this new and younger group of players, Keren Alvarssen, Leroy Russell and lastly the best striker of the country and successor to Maximillian Flare the Ice Queen Holly Moonlight who is known for her ice cold finishing and ability to keep a cool and level head in every situation.
With those three aswell as many younger talents like Daniel O'keith, Christian Kurz and Amber Sunday this new young Blizzard Academy may even be stronger then it has been previously and they are also fan favourite for the title and IFCF spots.

Blizzard Academy also stands under new management, Evanlyn Glendyss who won many championships with this team said farewell at last and now this season a former Blizzard player stands at the head of the team for his debut as a coach.
Alan White, former national team defender and who played multiple world cup qualifiers is the new coach of Blizzard hoping to bring his international experience to this team and prepare them to be the next generation that challenges the world.
He also has brought a foreign player into Blizzard for the first time ever, Blizzard Academy had always been proud on their own youth but for the first time ever a player from foreig origin was permitted to be signed for the team.
Abril Carmona a young South Newlandian is joining the squad this season, Starsians are very big fans of South Newlandia and the South Newlandians finding them an inspiration for their own developments.

Blizzard is an old club, its located in the North of the country and is not easy to find, often training is forced to be inside because of the heavy snowfall or freezing temperatures that can go to -20 degrees celsius in the summer and -40 degrees celsius in the winters.
Because of this they are the only team permitted to hold their matches inside along with the Storm Wolves and Blizzard for that reason has build an entire indoor training facility to always be able to train regardless of the temperatures.

Cascade Academy, its a new club formed by two merging clubs known as Orion and Omega previously.
Both of these top teams were struggling to hold their players and even the government could not stop Omega from losing players and after long talks it was agreed that the clubs would merge to continue their existence.
Previously they had been very big rivals so it was very weird and bad at the start, this was also why the club leadership asked Adrian Broskov a retired top coach to return from retirement to help mediate and lead the team.
Adrian Broskov at first refused, he is an old man and had been busy with football all his life, though it was his grandson that in fact managed to get Adrian to agree and he agreed to do it for no more then three seasons at maximum.
After Broskov's return everything started to run more smoothly and players started to cooperate more and things began to fall in the right place which previously had not been working.

Star player of this new team is the keeper and captain Calvin Princeton who has been the main goalkeeper for the national team for years and has said he aims to continue doing so as long as he physically is fit for it.
Cascade Academy started focusing on their youth, many young players now play in national youth teams and all of them have very bright future's ahead of them With Phoebe Sky and Bilal Cruz expected to lay the foundations for the next generation as one of the youngest players in the current starting eleven of Cascade Academy.
Broskov also brought Carl Wright a free agent from South Newlandia to the team, he expects that the young foreigner will be able to bring a new wind of change to the team that we as Starsians are unable to create alone.

Cascade Academy is owned 50% by the Starsian government and 50% by the owners of Orion and neither can make a decision without the approval of the other side which is the first team to do this.
Its a complicated situation but both sides are working together as much as they can to create an exciting and fun game now and in the future though sometimes the amount of time decision making takes can be quite annoying for this team.
It leads to decisions being made too late or often just being blocked despite being a good idea as democracy in a football club is very hard to maintain and they will be marked as a sub-top team this season and able to contest the title and IFCF spots, but under no condition will this new merger team be able to compete with the big names yet.

Desert Lions, a team in the far South Western area of the country and where the players generally follow a diffrent culture and tradition then the rest of their fellow citizens.
This team was already a lower team in the old league and has slightly improved and somehow survived the collapse but that does not mean they are considered a top team now.
Desert Lions have contracted some players from the second tier and youth teams but besides that also contracted a few very strong players such as Diego Ortego a youth international returning from an adventure in Kelssek and new foreign players Jean Cardona and young supertalent Angela Diaz from SouthNewlandia were contracted by the team.

Previously the Desert Lions were very protective of the team and its distinct culture under new management and new coaching from former international Direm Hassan it seems to look like progress is being made very well.
Among the youth players young international are now emerging aswell being in tough competition with players from the top teams while Desert Lions even in the new league is considered an average team at the very best.
They are one of the very few teams though that survived the collapse and that was thanks to the fact they allowed not many outsiders and also not alot of investors from beyond their own local circle that they trusted and knew.

Lastly this team is known for their extremely good endurance and speed, they can deal with high temperatures and continue running the entire match where other teams eventually would fall prey to fatigue.
They are very much in peak condition and the foreign players will most likely at the start have some trouble adjusting to the speed of their game and the intensity at which they play which is alot higher then they are used to, they have not been trained for such games and are expected to get better as the season continues further and they are able to adapt more to these conditions.

Pegasus Orb FC

Pegasus Orb, possibly the most surprising newcomer in the league yet also the one with the best youth that is currently available being renowned for their youth academy and scouting program more then their senior team.
Pegasus Orb was an amateur team that was too strong for the other teams but always lacked the financial funds to compete with the professional clubs until the great collapse happened and they weren't affected because they were not a pro side.
They got the opportunity to replace the lost teams in this new league since they always had been a team capable of competing with the pro teams and they now finally look forward to make their debut as a professional club.
Pegasus Orb is an allround squad with not really a single tag, they are quite good at everything but exceptional at nothing except their youth management were many are in the U21 team and also a few in the U18 team.

Rojan Carerez former international for our country has taken up the task to train these players to compete with the big teams, he believes in this squad and the people that made this club into what it is today.
Most people know Carerez as a player for Red Bison until he retired and for the national team he often played as a substitute not really having alot of caps on his name though he has more then enough experience to bring this team forward.
Since they are unknown its also very hard to determine what sort of team Pegasus Orb is and what their standing among the existing league teams is because none of their players have ever played any matches on the professional level before.

Among them currently Matthew Cooper leads the team from the back being a very solid defender who has more experience then his teammates and knows how to deal with complicated situations and can quickly decide and act on that decision.
Further also new talents like Elizabeth Phillips and Grace Edwards are starting to develop into very capable players that would lead the team into the future very likely in the coming seasons where they would see an aging squad.
Pegasus Orb is a club from the city, they have alot of contacts and people cheering for them but also are loved by the countryside being seen as a new team and a revolution for the footballing top teams to bring a new order in the league.

Equinox United, another team that is technically not new but coming from a combination between Haunted FC, Mirage United and several players from the second tier teams that were left without clubs.
They are an odd bunch, nothing really the types that would be your friends or where you'd often hang out with but certainly not unfriendly people but the team mostly is coming from the areas of the country that are rife with poverty and crime.
They represent the lower class of our country and many of those people can't even watch their games unlike fans of most teams because they simply have no money to spend on luxury.
Equinox is a strong team though they have Horus Whyte a former youth international on goal and Maddie Saturn in the defence the daughter of one of the most important people in current Starsian football Julian Saturn.
Joy Sol commands the midfield as if it is her own and in the front row we have probably the most dangerous combination in the entire league ready to score alot of goals Lilith Talisman, Jessica Nolan and Karina Crow who all have been youth international and played youth tournaments and are now looking to play their way into the main squad.

At the head of this very talentful squad is probably one of the most known defenders who quit at the same time as Maximillian Flare with his career as an international, it is Nicolay Moon former ace defender of the national team.
Nicolay Moon was the first ever international that Haunted FC had to offer to the national team and he is seen as a regional and club legend so its very good that he will be leading this team towards hopefully its best debut result.
They rely on the fear they can strike into the minds of their opponents by playing very strong and at the edge of what is fair but never seem to go over this edge perfectly in control of themselves at all times.

Equinox United is currently seen as a strong team with the ability to finish in the top five but due to the combination of players from diffrent teams, it is unsure how they will play against a team like Blizzard that always had played together.
Being a combined team is a strong point but also a weak point at the same time as it is a factor of uncertainty and it is up to coach Nicolay Moon this season to prove that Equinox can overcome that struggle with good football and form a challenge for big teams that look for an easy victory against a team like theirs.

Storm Wolves a new team this season but not entirely, Storm Wolves was formed years ago when Blizzard Academy became so large that diffrent opinions about how the club had to be ran started to conflict.
This conflict stayed internal until the collapse and that is when people had enough and Blizzard would see alot of second team players depart aswell as some of their top youth players to form an entire new club based on their own beliefs and values.
Furthermore an investor and the government also helped them to fund a new stadium for the team, Blizzard protested this ofcourse and the government withdrew but another investor took their place only making the stadium less large then its original idea.
Storm Wolves was chosen as a name as they saw themselves as Wolves chasing their prey Blizzard Academy and they had left during a storm and were still in a storm with everything that was going on around them.

Their main squad does not have big names or good players but its their youth thats good, their youth used to be the top of Blizzards own youth and were supposed to debut in Blizzard Academy in a few years.
Astrid Madsen, Anna Schwarz and Tobias Klein are among others the three best youth players currently in the team and on the main squad
Oskarsson Ekström is generally seen as the best player and also their captain and spirit leader, without him the team would not be as good as it is and not even be worthy of the pro level given most of the players were on the second team playing in the fourth tier the lowest national tier of football that there is for club teams and even there they were average.

Kyle Wolf former midfielder of the national team has accepted the task to teach them to play like professionals and to turn this team into a squad worthy of the investments and current position they are in.
There is a lot of pressure on this team and on their coach given everyone sees them as rebels from Blizzard who just were fed up with not being chosen as main players or felt they deserved better which isn't the case.
Blizzard's managment they say is corrupt and those who are chosen by status and familiar loyalty to the club are getting an advantage over the other players according to the Storm Wolves leadership and they assure that corruption in their club has no place.

They are seen as a weak team generally and we will have to see this season where they will end, they hope to finish in the top ten but even that is gonna be a very hard challenge given their limited quality of the players.

Amazona United, one of the teams that have survived the great collapse and are back for more seasons in the new league.
With a new and strong squad Amazona United hopes to get good results this season being the team of technology and they have recently lost a court case against the association about using AI during the matches.
Amazona United wanted to equip their players with AI to enhance their vision and reaction time but the Association saw this as unfair competition because other teams do not have access to this kind of technology.
Amazona lost the case and have complied to the will of the association but are nonetheless not a team to mess around with, players like Petra Rafaelov, Sarah Nolan and Layla Raharinaivo are now on the team making them alot stronger.

In the middle of this is an old player of the national team once again, its Morris Valerian who was forced to quit playing after he had an accident during a world cup qualification match and never returned to the field as a player after the incident except in very rare cases as a substitute he'd make a few game minutes.
But his tactical vision and ability to motivate his team and bring their mentality to an entire diffrent side is what makes him a commanding prescence in every team, he is the kind of man that people are glad to follow and has trustable and stable leadership.
Valerian was offered the job of coach of the national team but he refused it, he stated that certain memories that he had not been able to forget still played in his head and made him unable to currently accept this job.

Amazona this year is seen to be average and a bit above average depending on their momentum, they have good games but also sometimes it just doesn't work and people do not believe that changed now.
Claiming an IFCF spot is certainly not impossible for this team but hard work will be needed, they will need to work very hard for every positive result and to compete with teams like Blizzard and Phoenix who stand at the top of the new league in terms of quality now.

Mount Olympus, previously a team of players that played like gods as they said but recently they have came down to earth a bit more seeing that their attitude is not making them loved by their fans or their teammates.
Years now after the incident with Christiana Love whose power went so out of control that she accidentally injured nearly an entire team the club leadership has put strict monitoring on the wellbeing and power control of its players.
Christiana was forced to retire from football by age 25 after the association had forbidden her to play any games on the pro level anymore and had deemed her guilty of bringing disgrace to the game.
Her fellow teammate Christian Fourseasons who was a year younger grew into a new role by her departure as leader and motivator of this new Mount Olympus that had lacked a leader after their original one was forced out.

Their coach is less impressive and actually very young, its Luca Viloca a 39 year old retired pro player, he never made it very far but was a stable starter in his team during his years as a player.
Mount Olympus simply had no money for a good coach as they had spent everything on their new programs and signing new players aswell as preserving others for their team and this left them with this choice.
Many new players joined including ones from Oberour ar moro and SouthNewlandia aswell as Joyce Villegas and Jocelyn Pineda who both were a surprise at the Lagoon and Prominence where they used to play until the great collapse.

Mount Olympus is a team as it says near a mountain and they train in the mountains sometimes too but they're very graceful and technically skilled players where accuracy and quality is more important then quality and overall a peaceful atmosphere is common
Mount Olympus as a team is currently seen similar as Amazona, a very average team that isnt able to compete with the top teams but still is not unable to bring in good results and pull off exceptional things.
Even an IFCF spot is not impossible but just like Amazona it will need hard work and its only the question if they can achieve that with an inexperienced coach and a divided and mixed squad of old and new players.

Starsian Super League Season 01

Birth of a new era

Greetings dear folks, today we are here at the start of a new footballing season and a new era for our football.
Years ago the association imploded due to internal problems and financial problems, with new management several clubs have survived but also have new clubs emerged on the highest level of our country.
In this season we will look forward to seeing each of them play, further they will not only battle for the title and IFCF spots but also the national team is looking to renew itself and will keep a very close eye on the domestic results.

With the end of the transfer window we mark an all time low amount of foreign players in the Super League with most foreign players coming from either SouthNewlandia or Oberour Ar Moro and one player from Brookstation.
National heroes like Kira Blade and Holly Moonlight are now the leaders of their teams as the old guard has fully retired now and a new generation is entrusted with the hopes and dreams of the fans of all those clubs.
With all new teams the old standing teams look to defend their position as existing club, currently the most likely title candidates seem still to be Blizzard Academy and Phoenix United but this all can change in a heartbeat.

How about the fans?

Most fans are very happy there finally is an actual top league again, the head of the fan community for association football Irvana Jacobssen has reacted very positively aswell and called up all fans to stand behind their clubs again.
She told that now is the time the clubs need their support more then ever aswell as the league in its entirety to have a good atmosphere during its restart and to give a signal to other countries that we no longer run away from our problems.
Masses of fans were buying tickets for the first matches and this was seen for all clubs in ticket sales as every game seemed to be sold out no matter where or when a match was held, it was a positive signal from the fans.

On the a sunny 29th of August the new season was kicked off, a new era with new clubs and new players to enjoy!

With a sunny day the league was kicked off between all teams with some interesting matches between them, many players are new to the league and here and there at the start the outcomes may be surprising.
We will each matchday zoom in on some highlight and one match specifically and then after we will go through the statistics aswell to keep up with the latest developments in the league and the players.

Cascade Academy vs Phoenix United

One of the most anticipated games was the one between Cascade Academy which is a merger team between Orion and Omega ran by the government and function as a way to give those with talent but not the finances a chance to develop.
Phoenix on the other hand is a team among the best of the nation and also together with Cascade considered the stronger teams in the league with many strong players joining their side during the league abscence.

Cascade kicked off their season under coach Broskov the oldest ever coach in our league, combinations between Sky, Samford and Wright on the midfield were good at the beginning and they could keep the ball going around.
Firstly the two teams wanted to see what the other could do but experienced players like Alycia Mercedes and Esmeralda Fernandez ain't the types to let themselves be fooled by the younger Cascade Academy defense.
But the defense under the lead of Laura Cosmora could play themselves out of the Phoenix pressure and start thinking about an attack in the 12th minute with a pass from Sky to Jenkinson the left winger who gave a good low pass to Thorsby Mordov but Phoenix goalie Valverde managed to block the shot and make it a corner.

Samford took the corner kick, the ball was first headed away by Stevan Latreille but Bilal Cruz managed to intercept it from the midfielders and via Sky it went to Noëlia Borov who with an individual action got the ball into the box and managed to score in the 16th minute from the egde of the box with Valverde unable to block such a well placed shot.
Cascade took the lead in the first half and also did not let it go anymore either, this gave Phoenix United a serious problem since no one likes dropping points early in the season and changes were needed.
In the half time there seemed to be some good talks as the bench of Phoenix did their warming up and there were changes going to be made in the second half but it was unknown when and who yet.

At the start of the second half Hannha Wellington was taken off the field, the very lack of prescence from her side did not mean good news and the coach believed the same as they had no need for her anymore.
It was an interesting substitute given Wellington is an experienced player also formerly active in the national team and was now replaced by the 28 year old Givi Floro who had played his whole life in the second tier of our league formerly.
With the second half being kicked off Phoenix started to take the initiative with Zaratti and Moreno in the defense also coaching their foreign younger teammates now to help them anticipate on their opponents.
Givi Floro was more active and now had the ball alot more and chances were there alot more by Fernandez only hit the crossbar and Mercedes did not get through the defense of NT goalkeeper Princeton who goes as the best goalkeeper of the country.

Alycia Mercedes was subbed off in the 70th minute, 25 year old Carmen Hernandez was brought in to force a change and this change motivated the team further to attack and it resulted in many good combinations.
With one of them from Givi Floro to Victoria Tolisso to Carmen Hernandez the last one was caught by a rough sliding tackle from Kurt Rodham and he received a yellow card and a penalty against him.
Victoria Tolisso with a very easy kick equalized the score through a penalty in the 86th minute also deciding the final score of the game.

Mount Olympus after their first win immediately drops points against the Storm Wolves, further Equinox recollects itself after its defeat against that same Mount Olympus with a victory on Pegasus Orb.
Rose Gryphon who surprised with their win over blizzard in the last week now stand firm against Cascade Academy aswell who also are a strong team and drop points against two seemingly well playing teams now.
Blizzard Academy has a terrible start dropping again points with a second loss against Star Unicorn after their loss earlier to Rose Gryphon and lastly Ancient Forest wins against Amazona that stays on three points after their victory last week on the Storm Wolves.

Phoenix United vs Desert Lions FC

In the home stadium of Phoenix United two of the southern teams are here to battle eachother, Phoenix United that earlier played a draw against Cascade Academy and the Desert Lions who earlier won against Pegasus Orb.
With Phoenix having the first kickoff it seems as if they have the immediate control back and Hannah Wellington plays very actively and in control of the midfield looking to redeem herself after the last game where she was subbed off.
This intense pressure also resulted in an earlier goal for Esmeralda Fernandez who received the ball from Wellington then took it forward and with assistance of a pass from Alycia Mercedes back to Fernandez could beat Desert Lions goalkeeper Rahman from close range and put her team in an early lead in the 9th minute of the game.

However the Desert Lions are known for their persistance and ability to keep running and never give up, they showed that spirit today as Diego Ortega who returned after playing in Kelssek abroad stole the ball and gave a long pass to Thema Etzel.
He could with this long pass skip the midfield and threathen the defense of Phoenix very well and because of Zaratti and Moreno having to coach their foreign teammates South Newlandian striker Angela Diaz could run through and as Thema Etzel gave a high pass to Diaz she did not even take the time to control the ball but went for a direct shot surprising Valverde who had no answer to a direct shot from close range allowing the Desert Lions to equalize the score.
Fans of Phoenix were very unhappy, their team in their eyes had given away what seemed to be a pretty easy goal even if all experts and analysts in the halftime stated that it was infact a very tricky goal and praised Diaz.

In the second half Latreille was taken off and replaced by Sofia Martinez who was less experienced but atleast spoke the same language while Moreno coached Thibourst as good as she could given he was a player with way more potential then his friend as was quickly seen.
In the second half in the 50th minute a new attack from the Desert Lions was there with Wellington and Bernard unable to cover the quickly upcoming LB and RB from the Lions expanding their midfield but weakening their defense at that cost.
This time the ball went to Cardona who won a 1v1 duel with his fellow countrymen Thibourst and then passed the ball back to Mirna who in her turn passed it back to Cardona who gave a high ball to Diaz, she now beat Valverde again with a header in the low corner where Valverde was simply too late and unable to get down quickly enough giving Diaz her second goal of the game.

Two goals but it was not enough Phoenix was playing very bad today and at the end of the game in the 76th minute it was once again Diaz who took an advantage of this after a sloppy defense from Martinez that was intercepted by Ortega on his turn and he gave a tricky pass to Thema Etzel towards the corner flag where he passed it back to Mirna.
Mirna did not take time to look but just give the cross and once again Diaz was there with a header beating Valverde dead in his tracks embarassing the assumed next talentful goalie so badly that the boo's from the fans could be heard towards him.
Diaz was in the 85th minute subbed off but more for the fans as she received loud applause for her work and was replaced by Aisha Al-Mahmoud but no more goals were made and Phoenix had some serious changes to make.

Phoenix fans were very angry and the coach could not do more then say he finds it bad but it was very certain that if no quick improvement was made Phoenix might lose its status as strong team.

Starsian Super League Season 01

Surprises and a falling star

Greetings dear folks, a few weeks have passed and more matches have been played in the league aswell as the national teams starting to get more shape except the senior team that will not reveal its new form yet.
Further we have news about the missing star player Kira Blade, it was a big shock that she had not been in one of the league squads despite being formally a Phoenix United member from after the collapse.
Today in an update we sat down for an interview with her and Kira revealed exclusively to us the reason why she is absent for this season and also for the next World Cup qualifiers our nation aims to take part in.

Interviewer: ''Good afternoon ms Blade, thanks for being here with us today for the interview as many people ofcourse have missed you at the start of the new league season and in the national squads.''

Kira Blade: ''Good afternoon, just call me Kira please no need to be overly formal but yes there has been alot going aroud and i'm glad i can be here to clear some of it up.''

Interviewer: ''Yes, there have been many speculations about it from a possible early retirement to a failed attempt to find a club abroad though we have heard no rumours nothing.
It remained silent from you and the club, there must have been a good reason to do.''

Kira Blade: ''Yes, i've decided to take a small break from football but thats not because there is anything wrong with me not at all in fact i've never been doing better honestly.
I'll be taking a break because i'm in fact pregnant, me and my husband only discovered this shortly before the start of the season so we've decided to keep it silent until a better moment like now would be appearing.''

Interviewer: ''I see, congratiulations Kira thats actually a very wonderful thing indeed.
This indeed explains it more, though i can imagine that it was very hard for someone who loves the game to say to yourself to quit for now to give your love and time to the baby?''

Kira Blade: ''I'll be honest at first it was, i can't say i wanted it since we hadn't planned for it right now but we've decided to fully embrace it now its here and enjoy our time together.
Once i made that decision it became easier for me to put the game aside, you've got a little baby to care for and give your effort to so it gave me that reason to tell myself that its the best decision.''

Interviewer: ''Ah that makes sense yes, among many speculations this certainly wasn't a thing people were expecting and some miss you for the country too, is there anything you'd like to say to your fans?''

Kira Blade: ''Only that its important to follow your heart at all times, usually your feeling always seems to guide you in the right direction eventually regardless of the road towards your goal.
I will be back in about a year, i am still the same as i was and i will then once again step on that field to give it my all as i am far from done yet, i simply love the game too much to retire early.''

Interviewer: ''That is good to hear, i would like to thank for your time and honesty Kira.
We wish you and the baby the very best until then and we'll be looking forward to seeing you again in a year with renewed strength.''

Kira Blade: ''No problem, it was a pleasure to meet up, i wish all players and teams the best of luck this year and i will see some of them back next year.''

Matches

With Kira Blade currently not here it does not mean the league waits, more games have been played and question is about whether Blizzard and Phoenix can recover or not from those early slip ups.
Further we will also look at the Desert Lions and Angela Diaz to see what more she will show us.

In the third week Amazona secured a narrow victory over Blizzard Academy who despite the talent and quality they have are doing very bad and this is a circle they need to break out of quickly.
Cascade Academy easily steamrolled Star Unicorn with a three goal victory which is quite surprising since both teams have various strong players and all of them seem to be doing quite good.
Leader Desert Lions lost its first match against a decently strong Rose Gryphon what looks to make a good season with some good younger players aong them.
Phoenix United breaks out of their slump and secures a victory on Equinox thanks to a very late goal making them go away with three points and a very lucky escape there.
Mount Olympus lastly was a bit too big for Pegasus Orb thats having its debut season on the highest level and with a striker like Fourseasons and both Villegas and Pineda as wingers Mount Olympus looks in pretty good shape.

Ancient Forest FC vs Storm Wolves

In the dense forests a professional football club and the Wildcat stadium, Ancient Forest plays at home and has alot of fans as they kick off and start to combine their passes very well.
Krause makes a run for them passing to Nowakowski who after not even 5 minutes gives a very good pass through the defence and puts Kai Schulz up for a one on one with the goalkeeper with he calmly finishes.
Within four and a half minutes Ancient Forest is on a one point lead and the crowd goes wild while any away fans are silent upon this early goal against their team which is considered less strong.

However Storm Wolves is not a team that keeps doing nothing with strong football from Jansson and Lundqvist who form a dangerous midfield duo but do not come to a goal or a cross to their forwards.
Ancient Forest has young international Naimee Chiruchu who coordinates the defense very well and despite her youth the older players seem to pick it up too and their game improves under the girls lead alot where gaps else would have fallen.
It went back and forth between the teams until the end of the first half seemed to come near, but Ancient Forest wanted to widen the gap between the two teams before halftime so they kept pushing.
It resulted in a ball from Ivanova to Nowakowski who gave a long pass to Cristiano Almeida while Schulz already entered the box ready for a high pass but he saw Krause on the edge of the box and passed to Krause who shot but goalkeeper Solberg kept his goal clean at the cost of a corner kick.
It was kicked by Krause who this time finally managed to reach Schulz who beautifully headed in the second goal at 45+1 minutes whereafter the referee blew the whistle for halftime.

After halftime Adina Popescu and Cristiano Almeida were subbed off, in their places came 18 year old Robert Petrovic as second striker and 24 year old Piotr Nowak as an extra midfielder changing their formation to a 4-4-2 formation this half.
With an extra midfielder coach Karazhan aimed to keep control over the game, Nowak was entasked with this and Ancient Forest seemed content with just two goals.
Storm Wolves made no substitutions, they kicked off this time and started a 15 minute assault on the goal where the ball was brought in front of the goal numerous times but was saved everytime again and again.
However in the 62th minute when a new cross was incoming Kovalenko pushed a player and caused a penalty against her team and also got a yellow card for it because it was inside the box.
Alva Nilsson took the penalty and shot it in a low corner with great power and precision unable for Alina Petrov to catch and Storm Wolves seemed to be regaining confidence.
But it was for nothing, the defense stayed closed now and no matter how hard they tried they eventually became tired too from putting so much pressure on their opponent and even had to defend against more goals from Ancient Forest, the match ended in a narrow victory but without talentful striker Kai Schulz this team wouldn't have won here thats for sure.

In the fourth week Pegasus Orb takes its first win against Storm Wolves who are similar in power to them, its a good and much needed three points for them that will increase its standing.
Mount Olympus barely manages to secure a win against Phoenix United in a thrilling match where it could go both sides its in the end Fourseasons who decides the score and secures Mount Olympus of the first spot another week.
Star Unicorn loses against the Desert Lions and South Newlandian supertalent Angela Diaz shows off herself again with a game changing goal after a great assist from Ortega.
Amazona United pulls of a surprise by winning against Cascade Academy, Valerian managed to coach his team to a two goal win seeking to chase the top two teams of the moment in his first season as a real coach.
Ancient Forest and Blizzard play a heated match with a draw as an outcome with the only winners being the strikers who on both sides could work on their goal count.

Rose Gryphon vs Equinox United

Rose Gryphon this week stood against Equinox, a match seen as average not bad but also not a top game though recently both teams have been doing not too bad in the league.
With the kick off both teams explore the other, looking for weaknesses in their formations, Equinox being a more attacking orientated team where Rose Gryphon is more balanced takes the initiative immediately.
Joy Sol takes command of the midfield and gives the pass to Halikova who reached Talisman quickly bringing the game to the half of Rose Gryphon again after a good 26 minutes of playing time.
Crow and Nolan are both free and this is seen as Talisman sends the cross to Nolan who heads on goal but Laila Ali punches the ball away only for Karina Crow to finish it in the 27th minute after this with a direct shot unable to be blocked.

Before the halftime signal Arnaud Martin was subbed off for Adrien Renard a quite interesting move given they are both midfielders on the same positiona and there was no injury either.
In the 41th minute it became clear why when he got the ball and managed to dribble through three defenders bringing the ball to Elodie Lefèvre who had no trouble putting the ball past Horus Whyte equalizing the score before halftime.
After halftime not much changed with Talisman hitting the crossbar and Maharawan hitting the woodwork twice before the referee decided to finally put an end to this tiresome match where there was no fun.
However once they did fans from Equinox United stormed the field finding this preformance unacceptable from their team and both teams and staff had to be evacuated and were safely escorted out.

Equinox as a punishment is not allowed to have fans on the next three away games and will need to pay for all costs made by their own fans as it is very disrespectful and not belonging in the league what happened.

Starsian Super League Season 01

Understatement and overstatement

Greetings dear folks, once again some weeks have passed and we are back with new matches and statistic about the developments within our domestic league that is currently ongoing.
However this time we also are gonna discuss understatements and overstatements as many people have seen the recent results and the somewhat odd ranking of the teams and that raises questions.
What is a realistic assumption and what is an under or over statement thats what we also will look at to clear up any tales about our league that are currently going around and are untrue.

Realistic assumptions

- Blizzard will definetly see a good later season

We have marked this as a realistic assumption because Blizzard who currently seems to struggle is always a strong team with alot of quality and it is really doubtful that they will not see wins soon.
However it is a bad start of the season for them, they will be looking for improvement in their results.

- The new teams are doing not that well

With Storm Wolves and Pegasus Orb with the least quality in the last places this is also quite realistic.
For many of them this is the first time they are on a domestic pro level, it is very new to them and while we see improvement each match they are not yet a threat for any of the already established teams or teams that have pro players.
They have lower expectations but no team will like it to be last, it will be a fight at the bottom for both teams.

- Ancient Forest made alot of positive changes

They in fact did, new players and also younger talents from other regions near their own have caused a significant improvement in quality and how far this team can go with their football.
It is very nice to see a team that previously used to be one of the weakest teams now doing very well and even competing for some of the better league spots and winning matches aswell thanks to some young players.

Over or under statements

- Blizzard needs to sack its manager immediately

Very much an overreaction, sure it is a bad start but you can't sack someone on a four match basis, this goes too far and there will definetly be asked for improvement but there is for now no need to.
However it could become a possibility in the future if this trend was to continue throughout the season.

- Our domestic players are way better then the foreigners

Also an overstatement, we have seen many good plays from our foreign friends, especially Killian Thibourst and Angela Diaz seem to find themselves comfortable at their clubs with plenty of opportunities.
Due to monetary budget cuts no teams had the ability to actually pay huge fees for transfer so they had to look to free agents and those can be a risk as seen currently with Latreille who seems to be having a hard time at Phoenix United.

- This start of the season is surprising

That is an understatement, it actually is a shock to us all to see our topteams actually losing games that they should be able to win but on the other hand it does make the league alot more fun.
So yes it is quite interesting to see how this will develop into the future with some teams having the right momentum while others seem to be currently in a slump where its hard to come out of.

This week is the fifth week, Blizzard played against their rivals Storm Wolves who formerly were Blizzards second team and after a heated match a draw was the outcome between these two teams.
Cascade Academy took on Ancient Forest which they considered an easy game but that was not true, they nearly lost if Kai Schulz had scored but instead he did hit the crossbar with a free kick at the end.
Desert Lions suffered another loss, this time against Amazona United coached by Morris Valerian who is regarded as a very talentful coach and popular among his current squad.
Equinox secured a win against Star Unicorn, they are both squad with alot of talent and the diffrence was very little but a little bit of luck ended with one goal in favor of Equinox.
Phoenix is gaining points again seemingly coming out of their bad start winning against a weak Pegasus Orb that simply doesn't have the quality to compete with a top team like Phoenix United.

Mount Olympus vs Rose Gryphon

In the fifth week Mount Olympus the current leaders of the league would kick off against Rose Gryphon a team that has been doing okay so far and look for further improvement to get higher up in the league.
Mount Olympus has very strong forwards and also on the midfield they have the likes of Espinoza and Schuster from South Newlandia who have been playing very well together only leaving a weak spot in the defence.
Rose Gryphon knows this and opens the attack very quickly putting Amélie Lambert in front of the goal but her shot is saved by Peradonna who is one of the best female goalkeepers available.

Mount Olympus seemed to play around a bit with Rose Gryphon, they have talent but they also have youth which is their problem the young Rose Gryphon squad on some parts lacks the experience Olympus has.
Espinoza in the 22th minute swiftly steals the ball giving a good pass to veteran Jocelyn Pineda who despite her age is still pretty quick and managed with the help of Fourseasons to outplay the defense.
Pineda gives the ball back to Fourseasons who has done this so many times and does it again, scoring a wonderful goal and putting his team at an advantage in the 28th minute and he is not done yet.
In the 41th minute the same recipe but from the other side starting with Schuster who gives a very good pass on Villegas who sees Espinoza on the edge of the box and gives a pass and while the attention is on Espinoza its Christian Fourseasons that gets a direct pass from Espinoza and uses an overhead kick to score another goal.

During halftime Elodie Lefèvre was subbed out for Amélie Durand and Margaux Dupont was subbed off for Casper Betania meaning that coach Moreau wants more experience on the field and better coordination.
Both the players that are off are young, its the power of Rose Gryphon that they are creative and young and energetic but against teams like Olympus with many older players who are smarter it has a weaker effect.
For Mount Olympus there were no substitutes needed, they were still fit to play and ready for more.
During the second half despite the more experienced players Mount Olympus played around steadily and after a while they started to make the time run out and finish the game with Fourseasons scoring a third late goal after a corner to finish a pretty terrible match for Rose Gryphon that was very one sided to say at the very least.

In the sixth week Phoenix doesnt follow up its recent good results and loses against the Storm Wolves, it was quite the surprise but we have seen more upsets this season already at the start.
Further did Rose Gryphon manage to redeem itself somewhat from the earlier loss against Olympus by a draw against Pegasus Orb atleast taking home a point but Mount Olympus keeps on winning games.
Olympus beats Star Unicorn and once again takes three valuable points but Amazona United follows with a win on Equinox making it a very intense battle between those two teams for first place now.
Ancient Forest was playing against the Desert Lions, both teams are strong and in fact so strong that neither of them manages to score the decisive winning goal for their team and it ends in a draw.

Blizzard Academy vs Cascade Academy

On a rainy day Blizzard kicked off against Cascade, an interesting match given both teams had the needed skill to win but Blizzard was not in their optimal form this season against all odds.
Cascade was doing pretty good, still seeking their balance given they are a fused team of Orion and Omega players but they work together surprisingly well which is visible through their plays.
However today Blizzard was playing exceptionally well and Cascade did not seem to have any chance while their offensive power is not big their power is more in their defence where Blizzard is balanced.

Within the first half there were no goals scored, neither team made any subsitutions and the second half was similarly one sided and in the 50th minute it was Holly Moonlight who scored the winning goal with an assist from Amber Sunday.
Cascade brought in an extra striker in the form of Lauren Brown but to no avail, in the end Blizzard secured its first victory in a quite long time making it look more positive for the Blizzard players and their fans.

Starsian Super League Season 01

Against the odds

Greetings dear folks, here we are again with two weeks passed by and alot of news to tell you, alot of football news and results but also we cover the topic of being against the odds which is hot this season.
We've seen Phoenix and Blizzard both making a bad start but what is really against the odd? is there anything against the odds at all as it stays a very fun game where everything could theoretically happen.
Our news agency has done some research and statistics show us that teams who are often seen as weaker also are the ones who have the biggest chance of becoming stronger through the season.

While being a favourite is nice it also places a responsibility and a certain expectation upon the manager and the players, sometimes like in Blizzard's current case this could be a burden that is too heavy for them.
But on the other hand it can also motivate to make those expectations come true and live up to what people expect, its interesting to see how various players treat this obstacle diffrently from eachother.
Mount Olympus had been tagged as a reasonable team this season and similarly Amazona United but both teams are in a comfortable lead where they can battle it out together but this also raises a new situation.
Now they are the ones that need to live up to expectations and the question that arises is whether they are up to the same challenge we expected Blizzard Academy to face in this season and so far they are doing well.

Its the seventh week already, Cascade Academy plays against the Storm Wolves one of the weaker teams and while they play good Cascade is unable to take the win and it ends in a surprising draw.
Its another result in a line of somewhat dissapointing results where Cascade was expected to be alot stronger.
Desert Lions with their young star striker takes on Blizzard and while Blizzard plays well they do not manage to continue the positive result of last week once again playing a draw after Angela Diaz equalized the score late into the game.
Ancient Forest on the other hand beats Equinox and takes a good step up the ranks with Kai Schulz being the matchwinner and a very good young player similarly to Diaz one of many surprises.
Pegasus Orb hoped to score some but instead scored a heavy defeat by Star Unicorn that score a total of four times, poor Pegasus Orb is not doing too well and fans are calling for the board to remove the coach.
Rose Gryphon beats Phoenix in a very one sided game where not much fun was seen, an end to some good results for Phoenix.

Mount Olympus vs Amazona United

A long awaited match, Mount Olympus the current leader in the rankings against the runners up Amazona United coached by Valerian and even an old teammate to older players such as Pineda and Fourseasons.
Mount Olympus kicks off and starts very energetic like always quickly through Espinoza's efforts Pineda would be in front of the goal but Lily Estaranes the goalkeeper makes a beautiful save.
A corner follows and its Fourseasons who heads and again Estaranes and then its Burnham who clear the ball out to O'Bryan who passes to Raharinaivo who sees Sokole Ake from Brookstation making a run and gives a long pass.
He knows very well to get Valery Saire in a good spot so she can score the first goal for Amazona United putting them on a one goal lead in the 27th minute of the game.
Mount Olympus will have to redeem itself, not often did they have to equalize a score because often they were the first to score the goal and the ones taking the lead actively unlike this time.

During halftime Amazona makes a substitution, Sarah Nolan is being subbed out in favor of Giorgio Ziolis a 19 year old defender who makes his first appearance in the league and hopes to add energy to his team.
However Mount Olympus appeared in the second half with renewed energy and looked to find the equalizer, Amazona had a good defense and Ziolis was doing good despite his young age but Olympus has legendary forward.
Villegas in the 71th minute came with the cross that was cleared by Kabachu however was picked up by Schuster who found Fourseasons and there was the equalizer despite a terrible defensive mistake of Kabachu.
This match ended in a draw and neither team really did benefit from this match, it was quite sad but the fans were content.

Yes there it is the 8th week and what we see is shocking, but not this match which is Rose Gryphon playing a draw against the Storm Wolves who seem a very tough team to break given they always play a draw.
They dont even win alot but a draw every week secretly gains you quite a bit of points aswell unlike losing a game.
Phoenix hoped to win, played a great game but just like previous weeks couldn't win the game and did not get more then a draw against Star Unicorn which is quite saddening to see.
Amazona United with a big shock lost their game to Pegasus Orb by a goal from Elizabeth Phillips about their only capable player that gave their fans finally something to cheer very loud for.
Ancient Forest thanks to Schulz also pulled a huge surprise win against Olympus where the wingers simply couldn't get Fourseasons in the right position to score and the game was put in a deadlock by Ancient Forest from the start.
Blizzard played good but a draw against Equinox was all that they could get, Holly Moonlight is struggling this season to get her goals and will this affect her place on the national team?
At last the Desert Lions made a good impression against Cascade Academy where South Newlandian supertalent Angela Diaz once again found the net of the goal with a brilliant goal becoming matchwinner and the woman of the match.

(usually i would do a larger report of one of the matches but due to a heavy schedule this post i cant do that, if i have time i will edit it in later if anything.)

Starsian Super League Season 01

National pride and a new start

Greetings dear folks here we are once again with two new weeks with results and also added to this an update about the new formation of the Starsian National team which will be soon returning as a participant in the tea cup.
It will be the debut aswell of young Chromatik coach Rose Gabin (31) who previously played in our domestic league for Orion and was found willing to become the coach with her experience and supported by veteran Julian Saturn.
We have had a sneak preview and we see alot of new names but also old returning names, interesting is the exclusion of Hannah Wellington and many other Phoenix, Blizzard and Cascade Academy players as they simply ain't having it now.

On the other hand we also see new young players like Maddie Saturn, Naimee Chiruchu, Diego Ortega and very surprisingly Elizabeth Phillips on the team and the striker battle seems to be won by Elodie Lefèvre who was chosen over Kai Schulz.
How this new team will do will be seen soon, but this is in no case the team that will also play the next world cup qualifiers, changes can still happen but for the coming tea cup and perhaps also the regionals this seems to be the current team.

When asked for a comment Gabin commented that her decisions were made with the entire staff and that the team needs a fresh start and a new identity also without strong players like Kira Blade and Holly Moonlight as starters.

Its already the ninth week, in this week the Desert Lions have a very easy win at home against the Storm Wolves where once again Angela Diaz scores with a clean penalty but it was not the big win they hoped for.
Further there was the match between Equinox United and Cascade where the amount of goals was very high but the points were in fact equally divided thanks to very strong plays made by both teams.
Mount Olympus took on Blizzard the team that on paper had the best chances, but they seemed to not live up to that however they kept it an equal score until late in the game when Fourseasons became matchwinner for his team by scoring from a corner out of reach for the goalkeeper of Blizzard.
Ancient Forest got a big surprise, their opponents of Pegasus Orb FC caused a major upset by beating them by a single goal and taking the full three points from them thanks to a lucky shot from defender Grace Edwards from a long distance.
Rose Gryphon needed a win and they got a win, Star Unicorn was a tough opponent but this year Rose Gryphon is making very good progress and has a good balance with talent and experience in their squad.
Their rise has been the most surprising this season being even seen as a possible title contender if they can keep it up.

Phoenix United vs Amazona United

It was a nice day and Phoenix was playing at home against Amazona one of the current leading teams under the leadership of Valerian an ex national team hero but today a surprise was gonna happen.
After kick off by Amazona the combinations were quick and precise and O'Bryan took control of the midfield where found Raharinaivo who ran upfront as Sokole Ake took more position to the center for Raharinaivo to pass the ball to him so he could take the first shot.
Valverde could punch the ball out but the second shot by O'Bryan was too much and Amazona gained a quick lead in the 11th minute despite good plays by Phoenix.
Amazona continued to pressure Phoenix which resulted in a second goal in the 45th minute by Raharinaivo after a great assist from Burnham after which she could dribble further and shoot the ball past Valverde.

During halftime Sarah Nolan was taken off in favor of Giorgio Ziolis the teenager making his second appearance in the first team despite a very young age where he struggles with to find a place in the first team.
Phoenix made some radical changes, Alycia Mercedes, Esmeralda Fernandez and Hannah Wellington were all taken off the field because they simply played not good enough according to their coach.
Givi Floro was brought in as midfielder and Ana Diaz and Carmen Hernandez were both brought in as striker with more youth and creativity and it was a bit of a last resort for Phoenix that needed more young players.

Givi Floro proved to be a better choice as the midfield became more stable and he gave out the orders for a counter attack with Ana Diaz as the final station to tap in the first Phoenix goal.
However Amazona wasn't done and a third goal was quickly made as response by a combination of Raharinaivo and Ake with Saire making the final touch to score Valverde again letting a goal through.
Phoenix needed some serious goals, this is where Hernandez stood up and scored two goals after the ball got to Victoria Tolisso who managed to give some great assists in equalizing the score, but Tolisso wanted goals too and she was able to score two with help of Fernandez, Floro and Nemo Torres.
Lastly a sub was made Nemo Torres for Isabel Ortiz who also scored after in the final minutes a free kick was changed of direction and fell near her allowing her a shot on goal and a good one.

An insane come-back with nine goals in a single match, the highest score ever.

In the next week we have the Storm Wolves who pull off an upset against Star Unicorn which is a considerably better team making it look pretty odd that they lost to a weaker team.
Ancient Forest fought hard but was not able to get further then a draw against a strong and tough Phoenix United that tries everything it can to keep a bit of its reputation afloat.
Blizzard in comparison has had the biggest defeat ever this season, they lost against weak Pegasus Orb which has zero pro experience and this also puts an end to the career of coach White who was fired after this loss.
Blizzard as a top team falling so hard is for many fans painful to see and at the same time Mount Olympus spilled points in a rare occasion against Cascade Academy that played very well to keep an equal score against the league leader.
Lastly Desert Lions pulled off a draw against Equinox and we don't have to explain who scored that goal for the Lions, it can be only one person and that is Angela Diaz.

Diaz is an exceptional form but what also contributes to her insanely high statistics is the fact her teammates are nowhere to her level and rely on her now for their goals and also their wins.
Only Ortega and Arash are similarly capable to Diaz but beyond those two no one on Desert Lions has the ability to make the diffrence in games and we expect Angela Diaz if she stays in our league to next year play in one of the top teams.
Its rumoured Phoenix United and Cascade Academy among others would be interested in the opportunity to discuss such a move next season to prevent stronger foreign teams from doing so for now.

Amazona United vs Rose Gryphon

In this week Amazona and Rose Gryphon kicked off to what would become another upset for Amazona after they managed to quickly gain a lead thanks to Sokole Ake from Brookstation scoring with a longshot.
This early lead shook Rose Gryphon and a true siege of the penalty area of Amazona started with one after the other ball being brought in but to no avail as until the 44th minute it remained a lead until Amélie Lambert with a volley scored the equalizer and the crowd went wild even going so far with the smoke bombs Rose colored smoke filled the stadium.

After the smoke faded away there was the half time where Giorgio Ziolis was brought in for Nolan making his now third appearance as he starts to become more and more a stable value on that right side in abscence of Nolan.
Rose Gryphon made no subs and in the second half continued their siege, Lefévre needed goals but she was today not the one that managed to score as she got injured in the 58th minute after a hard collision with O'Bryan on the midfield, it was not intentional so no cards were given but she was unable to continue playing.
Amélie Durand a veteran that suffered many injuries through her career was brough and while she played well her assist was valuable to Arnaud Martin who would ultimately decide the match in their favor making Rose Gryphon runners up.

Starsian Super League Season 01

Jenna Raven Cup and a new manager for Blizzard?

Greetings dear folks, we are back with news on the Jenna Raven Cup also known as the womens world cup and Blizzard in its search for a new manager while more matches are played aswell.
Blizzard on paper the strongest team is currently last and the loss to Pegasus Orb who are considered the weakest team was too much for the board and the fans and manager Alan White has been fired after this.
Now they are searching for a new one but its not easy, the former manager had so much success she now is the manager for the womens team and there are not much domestic names with enough experience to take up the job either.
Assistant manager Clyde Blanc has been brought forward as interim manager while the board will be looking for someone else to contract for the remainder of the season with the task of atleast getting Blizzard back to a top eight position.

Evanlyn Glendyss formerly Blizzard's coach will be taking her team to the Jenna Raven Cup soon also known as the world cup for women only and it is the question how this team without Kira Blade will do.
Holly Moonlight still gets the preference on the striker position despite a not too good season aswell as Hannah Wellington being a chosen indicating that Glendyss wants to rely on the established names except Peradonna.
Niah Jennings will be the first goalie despite a strong season from Peradonna as Glendyss seeks to give the next generation a chance and also given that Peradonna should focus on the national team as she will be likely Princeton's stand in during the World Cup Qualifiers.

In the next week now Storm Wolves managed to cause an upset beating Equinox United with one goal, a good effort by teamwork from them and three points that are taken back home for the Wolves.
Mount Olympus played against the Desert Lions, also a bit of a battle against strikers since Christian Fourseasons and Angela Diaz are two of the best strikers in the league and people hoped for many goals in this game.
Unfortunately only two goals were made and only Diaz managed to find the net where Olympus had a good goal by Espinoza after a corner which gave him the chance for a header.
Pegasus Orb causes a major upset by beating the way stronger Cascade Academy, no one had seen this coming and it seems the newcomers of Pegasus Orb are doing better with every match they play getting more experience.
Ancient Forest and Rose Gryphon also had their match, it was a battle between two teams on the rise and both gave everything in this match displaying their best plays and this was sadly not rewarded with goals, they stayed on a draw without any goals.
Star Unicorn and Amazona United were the last ones to play, Amazona was considered favourite due to their recent success but like a few other times earlier they couldn't win and their success seems to see a turning point now, they had to be content with a single point.

Phoenix United vs Blizzard Academy

Phoenix in their home stadium kicked off against Blizzard, two rivals but where Phoenix was doing okay it was a chaos for Blizzard and without a good manager you couldn't expect alot either which was exactly what happened.
Blizzard was overrun from the first minute and did not manage to bring the game they wanted, Phoenix dominated and Wellington had a good day on the midfield seeing alot of good work from her side.
In the 14th minute a long pass from Wellington to Fernandez gave a one on one opportunity against the goalkeeper and Phoenix quickly scored and within five minutes after in the 18th minute scored again after Bertha Bernard scored from a free kick.
Blizzard's fans were silent, not that many had traveled the long distance between the cities but those that did were silent after seeing their club being hammered by their very own rival from the South.

In halftime Blizzard made no substitutions while Mercedes from Phoenix was taken off in favor of Hernandez who had proved her worth in the previous match aswell and was one of the younger players.
In the second half after a good passing combination between Kurz, Berg and Moonlight it was Amber Sunday who could save the honor of the team by atleast scoring one goal in the 59th minute of the game.
It later turned to be to no avail as Zaratti and Moreno are experienced NT defenders who don't let themselves be surprised twice and it was not Blizzard but Phoenix that decided the score with a very trick goal from Hernandez in the 74th minute after playing herself through various defenders placing the ball in the lower corner.
Phoenix won the match here quite easily while Blizzard keeps it position at the bottom two points from Cascade Academy who also are not doing very good this season and the players nor interim manager were available for comments after the match.
Its already rumoured that Blizzard players could be seeking new clubs next season but nothing concrete is there yet.

In week twelve we are past halfway the season and the team that causes upsets, Storm Wolves have done it again.
This time it was Amazona United that was a victim of their game and this resulted in a score no one could have ever imagined to be true with five goals in favor of the Wolves and only one for Amazona.
This really throws Amazona down the ranks, will they recover soon or are they on the same path as Blizzard?
Star Unicorn played Ancient Forest, two teams that seem to be doing pretty good this season and its Kai Schulz who shows himself first putting Ancient Forest in the lead but in the end Star Unicorn scores an equalizer making it a draw.
Blizzard finally won a game again, Rose Gryphon wasn't able to overcome the obstancle that Blizzard is and the players seemed to finally have regained some confidence even though they are still in last place, will this be the start of their recovery?
Desert Lions today had no goals, no goals? yes no goals.
No matter how many shots they had the were not able to score on Pegasus Orb but neither were they able to turn the tide and make the Lions lose composure ending the game in a very boring draw for everyone.

Mount Olympus vs Equinox United

In a packed stadium Mount Olympus the leading league team took on Equinox, while Mount Olympus is the better team Equinox has the ability to surprise with players who are on national level and have good experience.
Mount Olympus under the lead of Fourseasons and Espinoza started to dominate the game at first shooting on goal many times but the defenders and goalkeeper kept a clean record in the opening phase.
Mount Olympus is a team that likes to attack but doesn't experiencea counter often, Equinox knew this and utilized this and so the first goal came from a counter where Brianna Stark intercepted and gave a pass to Joy Sol who had choices while running forward as she chose for a pass to Erin Halikova this time.
Halikova passed back to Sol who brought it to Talisman on the side where she could give an optimal assist for Jessica Nolan to score the first goal from and silence the Mount Olympus fans who hadn't expected a goal from Equinox so fast.

In the halftime Mount Olympus made no subs and only Meredith was taken out for Grimshaw because of a minor injury that Meredith had sustained during a corner which they didn't want to take any risk with.
In the second half Equinox got more and more in control of the game where Espinoza and his midfielders seemed to be quite overrun especially with defenders who move upfront closer to the midfielders then usual making the offside trap even more likely.
a lack of room to play and luck resulted in the second goal from poor defending in a small area from Lima which Crow took advantage of and sealed the game in the favor of Equinox making it a rare occasion that Olympus loses a game.
In the aftermath Fourseasons commented that they played their best but needed to be more prepared for other types of game aswell, they had been surprised by the odd style Equinox uses and as a result were overwhelmed and lost.

Starsian Super League Season 01

IAC start and a new coach for Blizzard

Greetings dear folks, we bring you a the most recent news on the Starsian Super League today aswell as the news on the IAC that will finally again see a Starsian team participate in it.
Rose Gabin and her staff have made all preparations and look forward to the tournament seeing it as a very good chance to play and train in this new formation before the world cup qualifiers appear again and ask the most of our team.
Currently alot of young and new faces are entering the ranks and its unsure how this will display on the field, leading players like Princeton, zaratti and Bernard among others will be looked at to lead the team forward with more experience.
Gabin will be making her debut as coach and as national team coach but she is regarded as very capable though many Starsians speculate about the potential risk that such a young manager can be for the team.

In other news Blizzard has found a new manager with Alan White being fired after the poor preformances of the team, the 38 year old former professional player Thomas Dunwell was presented as the new manager earlier today.
Fans have responded with mixed optimism willing to give him a chance but they are skeptical about their chances this season and about whether young managers like Dunwell have what it takes to lead a team like Blizzard.
Blizzard captain Holly Moonlight in a statement has reacted saying she is looking forward to work with the new manager to new success both for the team and the fans.
Moonlights statement comes in a time where there is alot of chaos around her given that its unknown if shes renewing her contract or perhaps leaving for a final adventure abroad before retiring.

Mount Olympus managed this week in the thirteenth week to win against tough opponent Storm Wolves who have surprised many teams this season and caused many upsets in the rankings.
Equinox and Pegasus Orb played later that friday against eachother and while Pegasus Orb has some good players in their ranks and starts to develop more and more into a pro team its clear that Equinox was too strong resulting in a defeat for Pegasus Orb.
Desert Lions took on Phoenix United and for the first time in the season it wasn't only Diaz scoring the goals which they often rely on to score but this time others aswell managed to find the back of the net against a pretty weak Phoenix that day.
In the evening the match Cascade Academy against Rose Gryphon was played, that evening Cascade played very well and surprised Rose Gryphon who are having a very strong season and took the three points home with only one goal being scored that match.
Ancient Forest lastly took on Amazona United and Amazona lost its form completely where they at the start of the season were even runners up they now completely are losing their past form and can't get further then a draw against a tough Ancient Forest.

Blizzard Academy vs Star Unicorn

Blizzard Academy played home in the north with a soft snowfall as the team walked up the indoor field, it was their first match under their new manager and they seemed pretty happy and content as most players knew they kept their place.
Star Unicorn was a pretty tough opponent to start against but also not a team that is impossible to beat, Blizzard has eough quality and the fans would love a win as they cheered on their team despite being last.
Star Unicorn was allowed to kick off which was done by Jessica Heartfeldt, Star Unicorn combined very well on the midfield as they searched for gaps in Blizzard's defence but this time unlike others there were none.
Eventually Jade Williams was able to get a hold of the ball passing it to Kurz regarded as one of the best midfielders until this season and his pass to South Newlandian Carmona let the Amber Sunday going for the deep run as Carmona tried to reach her with a high pass.
Sunday received the ball and passed back to Carmona who ran behind her up to the front from where she could reach Moonlight with a second pass giving Moonlight a 1 on 1 opportunity and calm as she was Jennings had no chance and Blizzard scored first.

Star Unicorn had woken up and a counter followed where all defenders were really needed but to no avail as after a few attempts in the late injury time of the first half Kendra Halisovic scored the equalizer.
Fans who had been cheering for Blizzard went silent as they knew this had happened before and they feared Star Unicorn would walk over them in the second half again like many times before with other teams had happened aswell.
In halftime a few shocking changes were made, Kristoffersen Thomsen and Ebba Andersen were brought in for Rasmus Berg and Wayne Bradford making the team even more young as both new players were teenagers technically from their own youth.
Chaos around the sideline was visible before the two youngsters were brought in but Dunwell had sent some of the people arguing away and it looked like he had a plan unlike White his predecessor.

In the second half the game was alot faster from Blizzard and more unpredictability appeared as the combination with Kurz and Andersen worked wonders with both being creative and technically strong players.
From their good passing efforts a second goal was made by Thomsen who managed to score a rebound from Moonlights shot that was stopped by Jennings earlier making Blizzard take the lead.
Later in the 84th minute a corner was taken and also Kurz himself made a goal with a fair header out of reach for Jennings and her defenders making it Blizzards third goal and giving them the win they needed to get from last place.

Storm Wolves in the fourteenth game week is unable to get past Ancient Forest who host top striker Kai Schulz among others, merely a draw is what they get in a tough long lasting match with two nearly equal teams.
Storm Wolves is in the middle of the ranks where Ancient Forest Forest still has the ability to go further and even aim for the top three making every point gained or lost more valuable as we get further into the season.
Star Unicorn played a goalless draw just like two other matches among others Rose Gryphon against Desert Lions and Phoenix United against Equinox United making it even harder for those teams to catch up with Mount Olympus.
Especially because Mount Olympus once again took the win despite fierce resistance from Pegasus Orb who are currently really decently doing.
Blizzard continues its momentum of winning and again wins against a falling Amazona United, they seem to do very well under the new management from Dunwell.

Starsian Super League Season 01

Tea Cup start and signed television revenues

Greetings dear folks, we have some new games today for you and also the start of the Tea Cup thats hosted in a nation far away from here but still an important milestone for the return of our national team.
Featherstonehaugh Cholmondeley, Eshialand and The Hainan Union are the nations that our country was paired up with only Eshialand being a country we've played against earlier and never won against.
Some of the currrent coaches in the league have even played in this match which makes it an interesting game to look forward to.
Furthermore the current league television revenues are known and also what each club will earn, the total cap has been placed on 40 million Starsian dollars with the league champions earning a percentage of 14,28% of this total amount to spend on transfer and youth.

We have already had 14 out of 22 matchdays meaning still 8 are left to score points and the gaps between most teams are rather small except with the Desert Lions and Mount Olympus who each have a small gap of points.
Most people would say Olympus has this in the bag but it remains to be seen, only four points seperate the top two teams and if we need to believe both teams they won't bebacking down.

Matchday 15

Storm Wolves, the team of surprising results does it again! they beat Pegasus Orb and obtain much needed points for the rankings as they have been doing really good in their first season compared to their rivals of Blizzard.
Equinox the next day played home against Rose Gryphon, both teams knew a decent season so it was an interesting match to see and finally Elodie Lefévre found the net again after some matches without goals of her.
Runners up the Desert Lions did what they have to and won their match, Diaz scored once and Etzel the second one sealing the victory against Star Unicorn narrowly after they also managed to score before the final whistle.
Amazona started out good but is losing match after match now and today it was Cascade who seemingly easily took three points home while Amazona struggled to keep up and to some degree lost composure even among its own players.
Blizzard secured their third win under Dunwell and are climbing the ranks fast, the time of their losses has seemingly passed as is seen by a strong and controlled display against strong opponent Ancient Forest.

Mount Olympus vs Phoenix United

Mount Olympus as league leader were playing against struggling team Phoenix their climbing after a while stagnated again and Phoenix looks close to ending last place this season which is a shame for the club and its players.
Many fans have called for the resignation of the manager but the board has made clear that they will keep Pescado under contract until the season is over but its quite clear that his contract will not be renewed.
Furthermore the game started with a strong Mount Olympus that dominated as the Phoenix United players seemed demotivated and unwilling to work for eachother except Zaratti and Moreno in the back who really tried their best.
Those two were the cornerstones of this team and this made it even worse that after 33 minutes Moreno had to be subbed off because of an injury as Pescado brought Brenda Demora on a 25 year old defender.
Zaratti on his side was able to defend but Demora and Latreille were a weak side together and this led to an easy goal for Olympus by Pineda from a moderate distance before halftime setting the pace of the second half aswell already.

In the second half no subs were made on Phoenix their side as no sub could make the diffrence here, most fans weren't even interested in other players either as they knew that those could not change this tide.
In the 65th minute Jocelyn Pineda got subbed off for the fans and replaced by 16 year old talent Helena Avelona, the daughter of Seya Avelona a former pro player that has a history at Olympus and her daughter shared her talent for the game by surprise.
To top it off it was also Avelona that made the second goal after after a great assist by Christian Fourseasons in the 77th minute as he passed through Latreille's defense sealing the game for the team.
Desert Lions and Olympus both getting their wins means the gap stays but also the fierce battle for first place.

Blizzard their rise comes to a stop against the Storm Wolves, they played fierce and energetic but the rivals kept eachother on their toes and a draw was all that could be made from this intense and fast paced game.
Ancient Forest hosted Cascade Academy and lost in a surprise from Cascade Academy who recently have risen through the ranks quite a bit where they had a bit of a struggling start and trouble to find their place but they are doing alot better now.
Star Unicorn is struggling and it showed against Equinox who won against them with one goal from a penalty, Star Unicorn was meant to be a combination of strong players but haven't been able to bring that strength out on the field.
In their last place there is a gap of four points between them and the next team above them in eleventh place.
Rose Gryphon did the unthinkable, they kept the powerful force of Mount Olympus away and at a draw with strong coordination and good coaching on the defensive side, more defenders were brought in for a system with more defense and this surprise worked.
Mount Olympus played well but they need to look out to not lose their first spot.
Phoenix that was in a slump recently won a game now and climbed a few places, this makes the fans happy even though they expected alot more this season from their team and see this win on Pegasus Orb as a must, Blizzards coach was fired after losing to Pegasus Orb.

Desert Lions vs Amazona United

Desert Lions against Amazona United an interesting match especially if you realize that Mount Olympus has failed to win theirs, however the players did not know this because this match was a day before the Olympus game.
They knew that failure to win would only make the gap bigger and probably throw any chances at the title, everyone was looking at Diaz to show some magic to the fans and team as she has this season grown out to be a club hero.
Her goals aswell as her style of playing and her good bond with the club and her team have made her into such a star within a year with coach Hassan commenting on her plays as ''Exceptional''
But the match is underway and before we know it ofcourse its Ortega with a dribble to Etzel who shoots and hits the post where Amazona picks it up with Burnham playing to O'Bryan then to Saire immediately knowing they need goals against this team.

But as time goes on it becomes clear Amazona hasn't learned from their previous games they lost, their strategy does not work and Desert Lions have more chances and later also possesion as halftime nears its a miracle that the score is still even.
Elisabet Mirna is subbed off for Desert Lions in halftime and replaced by Ali Ahmadzai a younger midfielder as they hope to bring more energy and creativity on the field and this is rewarded in the 58th minute as he passes to Ortega who passes to Etzel giving a wonderful assist for Diaz to score the first goal of the game and put her team on an advantage.
It turned out to be the only goal as Amazona had no way of striking back, they don't have exceptional forwards but only a strong defense but Saire is not enough to replace the likes of Wendy Turner sadly for them as they lose the game by this goal.

Desert Lions close in on Olympus with a two point diffrence now, the last matches will be decisive on the final results.

Starsian Super League Season 01

Tea Cup Success and Jenna Raven squad selected

Greetings dear folks we are back with a new part in the first season of the new Starsian Super League aswell with updates on the Teacup hosted in Teafarmers and the squad that will travel to Baker Park soon for the Jenna Raven cup also known as the womens world cup.
Currently the Teacup is underway and success is being achieved as we advance to group A the second best group we could advance in and even won the first match against the country of Muralos against the odds.
Fairly said this is a great start and also goes to show that coach Gabin made the right decision to kick out some older players and bring youth into the team aswell as some experience from abroad in the form of Ortega for example.

This is diffrent for the Jenna Raven Cup that had not started yet, it was pretty tough to build a quality team consisting only of female players without taking our youth players from the youth teams.
However it proved to be achievable as the squad was announced today and will later be submitted to the tournament officials that will publish all the team data of all teams for the fans across the multiverse to see.
For many female players that would not get into the national team the womens team is a good opportunity to show themselves to other nations and clubs and maybe prove people wrong and still make the next step to the national team.
Although its not considered a major tournament our association has been facilitating women the possibility to form their own team and take part in tournaments since the start of the international era.

Lastly the domestic matches also go on, it may be weird but between the matches the team also has to play their domestic matches and internationals have a busy time ahead of them.

Phoenix played well but surprise of the season the Storm Wolves managed to again pull it off and beat Phoenix United by a single goal proving their ability to bounce back after going down by one goal in the first half.
This wasn't the case for Rose Gryphon though who dominated their opponent Pegasus Orb and scored two beautiful goals with one being from young top striker Lefévre who was chosen for the womens team but not the national team.
Mount Olympus the leading team gave it away, the played against Star Unicorn and what was supposed to be a routine match for them now became a huge slip up when Kendra Halisovic scored for Star Unicorn and Watson and Bressnikov kept the defense up the remaining time so a narrow win for Star Unicorn could be the outcome and an opportunity for the Desert Lions to take over the lead.
Equinox and Amazona also had a neat game but played a boring draw, not much to say on it there wasn't alot of good things and it was a tactical chess game from two mid tier clubs.
Cascade and Blizzard were the last ones to play and Blizzard despite playing a draw seems to have found the way up on the rankings currently having sixth place and aiming for maybe still a top five spot or perhaps even more.

Desert Lions vs Ancient Forest

Desert Lions and Ancient Forest two teams with a good season, also a battle of striker between Diaz and Schulz but for the Lions it was also an opportunity to get first place on the leaderboard and the chance for the title.
Ancient Forest had a good start and they dominated the first half where they combined the midfield into the offense very well and got several chances but none of it entering the goal until the 40th minute of the game.
Schulz received a good pass from Krause and passed it to Popescu who played it all to the side keeping the defenders busy until she could cross the ball back to Schulz or atleast it seemed.
However Schulz did never hit the ball at all but it was Cristiano Almeida who scored with a deadly kick looking half like an overhead taking the lead with his team over the Lions as the fans of the home club went silent.

In the second half it was the Lions with the upper hand though and it seemed like their endurance was winning them the game as the heat weared down the speed of the Ancient Forest players more and more.
Ortega took at some point the ball on the midfield playing it to Mirna who gave it to Etzel to give a great low assist for Diaz to send the ball into the back of the net before the goalkeeper could cover his exposed side.
Equalizing the score it was not yet enough and in the 75th minute Ozan Karazhan scored a corner taking the win for his team and also three needed points to get first place in the league overturning the entire score of the game today.

Cascade played against the Wolves, this time the Wolves were unable to surprise and were given a football lesson by Cascade who took with two goals an easy three points back home.
Blizzard kicked the Desert Lions back to second place and this by Holly Moonlight scoring a goal aswell as Diaz equalizing the score later but to no avail as Olympus as later would happen would win their match taking their single point advantage back.
Ancient Forest lost another game, this time Equinox was the one who managed to beat them with Talisman becoming the matchwinner proving the be the better player of the twins from which her brother had already retired some time ago.
Amazona lost to Olympus as said earlier with Fourseasons aswell as Villegas ensuring an easy two goal win but its not much compared by a four goal win Star Unicorn pulled on Pegasus Orb on the next day.
Lastly Rose Gryphon narrowly grabbed a win in their match against Phoenix with a lucky goal from Lambert.

(due to irl circumstance im again unable to post a big report, this year is my exam year so sometimes i can do large posts and sometimes i just can't but i hope the season is still enjoyable!)

Starsian Super League Season 01

Jenna Raven Cup end but Tea Cup lead

Greetings dear folks, today we bring you some more matches and as we get closer to the end of the Starsian domestic season we see that our national sides do good in the tournaments before the world cup qualifiers.
In the Jenna Raven Cup the Starsian womens team played good but sadly lost the playoffs to the Spartan Dominion making them unable to advance to the knockout stage of the tournament which for female players is considered very important.
Meanwhile in the Tea Cup the Starsian squad is the leader in group A with one match to go against the kittens from Valentine Z who seem to not consider this tournament as very important like it is to us a good way to gain experience.

If this match is won the Starsian squad advanced in the first place to the next phase of the tournament but in the case of a draw or a loss there is little chance that we will advance in a top spot and the road will be more tough.
What also will be tough is the end of the season here and a heated battle for the championship by Mount Olympus, Desert Lions and behind them also Rose Gryphon has chances if lucky enough to win it all.

Phoenix United has a tough season but earns much needed points with a two goal victory over the Star Unicorns this week showing the skill they have but which sadly did not really make them a top team this season.
Further is it also Star Unicorn that seems to be somewhat burned out near the end of the season where a decent season was played.
Pegasus Orb gets itself ahead of some rivals by winning narrowly against Amazona United with star player Elizabeth Phillips being the goalscorer showing her diffrence in skill compared to her team, many experts believe that she will next season will play for a stronger team.
Mount Olympus played against Ancient Forest a tough opponent as been shown this season especially with striker Schulz and various new players and this led to a draw between the two powerful teams here.
Equinox and Blizzard had a similar fate with their game a draw was all and it was the most worse for the fans who actually had to pay to watch such a boring game with Blizzard fans being still not satisfied with their clubs results.
Meanwhile the season runners up Desert Lions played a home game against fourth placed team Cascade that has grown through the season and where everyone expected a goal from Diaz this time no goal came.
Both teams kept eachother on their toes and this prevented Diaz from becoming a real threat as any offensive mistakes immediately backfired with a bad situation in their own defense aswell.
So nothing changes here except for one thing.

Rose Gryphon vs Storm Wolves

Rose Gryphon the third ranked team needed points, they needed to get them from surprise team Storm Wolves a tough opponent but if they could win it would place them one point behind the Lions and two points behind Olympus.
With that in mind right after kick-off on pure adrenaline a barrage of shots would be fired on the Wolves keeper who did his best but the relentless attacks would not stop as the pressure was kept very high by the Gryphons.
With this intense pressure mistakes would be made and the profit of it was seen in the first half with Lefévre, Nazim and Lambert all scoring one goal each bringing the score to three goals to nothing before the first half even ended.
By halftime the entire team was tired to the bone, the coach made five subs two in defense and three on the midfield giving Sigiward, Dubois, Nazim, Dupont and Martin rest after their intense work.

In the second half Blanchard, Lacroix, Roussel, Renard and Rousseau were brought in and with that Rose Gryphon would now focus more on defense and keeping any attacks out at all costs.
This proved to be a success as the Wolves who already were tired and did not sub ran into a wall and were confronted with fresh new players who wanted to have that win at all costs and would not mind a yellow card if it was needed.
In the end they managed to even keep the score at zero and this radical decision proved to be good but criticism on the pressure on the players was also a topic of discussion as many stated that this is making wrong use of the players.
But regardless of that the score stands and cannot be overturned, the race for first heats up as we look forward to new matches.

With the Desert Lions starting this week it was a tough match and this time it was not Diaz but actually Ortega who decided the game with a long shot on goal making the Storm Wolves lose their second match in a rown and the Lions secured to stay in the race for championship with their team for this season.
Equinox played Cascade Academy and a strong display from Equinox combined with a lack of coordination and concentration from Cascade result in a stunning three to nothing defeat for Cascade that has grown so much while Equinox seems to be a stable mid table team this season now taking fourth place on good distance from the top three.
Mount Olympus had seen the Lions win and Fourseasons knew he had to score to keep going and he did on an assist from Pineda a beautiful goal past the Blizzard keeper wins them the game and keeps them for now in first place.
Ancient Forest played against Pegasus Orb, it was known that Pegasus was weaker but it kept itself pretty good against Ancient Forest until Adina Popescu decided the game with a good run blazing past three defenders before crossing the ball into the top corner.
Star Unicorn stays in last place after losing as expected to Rose Gryphon who do not want to miss out on the title race either with one goal from Maharawan being enough for the three points to go to Gryphon.

Amazona United vs Phoenix United

In an eventful match Amazona and Phoenix played their hearts out starting from kickoff with an early goal from Saire in the 8th minute putting Amazona ahead of Phoenix but only to be equalized after a few minutes by a goal from Tolisso.
With this score not even fifteen minutes of the game were played and then it would go a bit slower until Maugan Varanna from Oberour ar Moro decided to score the second goal for Amazona from a one on one with goalkeeper after a good counter in the 39th minute.
Although good even this did not last because in the injury time of the first half it was Bertha Bernard with a strong free kick that sent the ball in the back of the net equalizing the score on halftime in an eventful match with alot of goals.

In the second half Amazona pulled off an interesting start with two goal within a few minutes being scored by Raharinaivo and Sokole Ake from Brookstation who has been having a decent season aswell despite a team with some problems.
This led to substitutions on the side of Phoenix with Carmen Hernandez and Ana Diaz being the ones to be trusted with the task of scoring twice and in fact Hernandez impressed once more by scoring once from a corner and a second time in the 84th minute by an assist through the defense from Tolisso making her able to equalize the score of a very heated match for all of the people here.
Phoenix has not been doing great this season but its recently revealed that Hernandez already had signed a new contract with the club to stay atleast three more years and the same for Ana Diaz for two more years which says alot about the plans of the club.

Almost there, the season runs close to an end and as it does the race for first becomes intense and with that said the Storm Wolves take some points after beating last placed team Star Unicorn pretty easily here.
Its seen that Storm Wolves can be considered a tough team after showing this season they are not just a break off from Blizzard.
Rose Gryphon needed to score but could not against a stable Amazona United that had a very strong day where their form this season seems to be on and off at times but if the Lions and Olympus win Gryphon with this outcome could say goodbye to their title dreams.
Phoenix has also a decent score this time against Ancient Forest a draw could be achieved as these teams their points are more for the ranking then anything else given they have no chance for any IFCF spots anymore.
Blizzard has hit the same fate but despite that they pull a three to nothing win with Moonlight scoring twice and another goal going to Amber Sunday as Blizzard did not good but prevented the most shameful result ever as to when it ranked last earlier.
While Gryphon played a draw so did the Lions no goals were made against the team of Equinox who play a good season and still fight for an IFCF spot on their side making it one of the more entertaining games to watch despite no goals being scored.

Mount Olympus vs Cascade Academy

Mount Olympus kicked off and started with good plays on this match but if they only knew what was about to happen they would have not played the game that is for sure.
Within ten minutes Mount Olympus was already two goals down respectably scored by Phoebe Sky and Noëlia Borov and this led to the Olympus team being quite overwhelmed as they did counter attack and scored from Espinoza's header one goal before halftime.
In the halftime break shouting could be heard from the Olympus changing room as the team and the coach were not happy, they came so far and the last thing the coach wanted was to dissapoint alot of people who expect a championship after such a long lead, however being still one goal down they would need to do better and Cascade made subs aswell now.

Lauren Brown was brough in aswell as Madison Wright two rookie players but with great potential they had shown during various times they were subbed in and this paid off as Brown scored another goal and soon after another followed making two goals for Brown an excellent sub that overwhelmed Olympus again with the fans realizing this game with three goals down was lost.
From a corner South Newlandian Julian Schuster scored with a header a second goal for Olympus making the score less painful until Wright sealed the deal with a fifth goal on her part making this evening a terrible one and also did this put the Lions in first place.
Olympus and Desert Lions were equal in points now and the Lions had a better goal diffrence then Olympus by one goal so the final match of the Lions would decide whether Olympus would win or not.

On this day the Storm Wolves played a strong match and Equinox who knew it was practically a done deal weren't as motivated as anytime and the strong Wolves side made them go down with five goals.
Cascade played a draw aggainst Pegasus Orb and secured its IFCF spot as expected finishing a decent season but definetly one with room for improvement to contest the title next season.
Blizzard against Phoenix the classic rivalry, this time it was Blizzard with Moonlight who took the win both teams ending a mediocre season and missing alot of money meaning they will have to work more with domestic youth from now on.
Ancient Forest started good but then through the season it became less good and they practically threw a good ranking away with them finishing the season with a win over Rose Gryphon who keep third place and can be very pleased with the result.
Amazona took some points for the form as Star Unicorn keeps their place as last in the league already announcing the coach would not continue after this season and reforms were to come in the team.

Desert Lions vs Mount Olympus

The last day the last match it was something out of a story, Desert Lions against Mount Olympus the titans playing the last match against eachother to decide the fate of which team would be crowned champion.
All eyes would be on star players like Diaz, Fourseasons, Ortega, Villegas and Pineda among others and as the kick off was there the crowd cheered hard for both teams firework bombs exploded across the stadium spreading orange and brown smoke.
In fact the match had to be delayed because of the smoke being too heavy and after 20 minutes the game could be resumed with the first half being a strong one on bost sides Ortega and Mirna dominating the midfield in a fierce battle Espinoza and Schuster but in the end it was Mount Olympus that would go to halftime with a goal as Pineda scored the first goal in the 40th minute after a small gap in the defense was seen by Schuster who have a great assist for her to finish it off.

During the halftime something was discussed but its unlikely we know what, after the break in the second half in the 50th minute Ortega gave an assist to Diaz who equalized the score blitzing past four defenders alone and beating the goalkeeper in a one on one.
This seemed to demoralize Olympus but the Lions weren't done they were here to fight and they had been second the whole season as they dominated the game more and more the Olympus defense became more pressured.
Mistakes often happen when pressure is applied and a foul on Etzel caused a penalty and a red card for Olympus, this red card was for Yulia Lima who was too late with her sliding tackle and could have caused serious harm to Etzel.
Diaz took the penalty with a cold look and shot it in the right lower corner and despite the keeper choosing the right placed the shot was so hard there was no time to stop it and the Lions overturned the score into a lead.

Now there was one thing left to do which was to seal the deal with a beautiful assist from Jean Cardona from Oberour Ar Moro it was Diaz again in the position for a one on one with the goalkeeper and Diaz was victorious in the 70th minute and as she scored the entire crowd went wild as they realized the game was won and Diaz singlehandedly had gained the win for her team.
Where in the begin of the season suspicion was the most common feeling the fans had embraced Diaz and now were cheering for her like a hero as the commentator was even going crazy ''Hattrick for Diaz it is there its done its a hattrick for Diaz and a win for the Lions!'' and indeed the Lions played the game calmly till the end and as the final whistle blew everyone ran onto the field it was chaos.

Chaos erupted and Diaz was surrounded by teammates staff and everyone of the team, they walked to the fans and even into the crowds for a few moments to shake some hands and celebrate with the fans under a guiding eye of the stadium staff ofcourse.
When later Diaz was interviewed this was her response.

Diaz: ''I came here with a dream, to develop myself as a player and widen my horizons and i could have never thought that i would be able to reach these heights its truly been an amazing year.
I wanna thank the team the coach and the staff for believing in me and the fans for accepting me as i know this club has a long tradition of letting in only players from their own region.
For now we celebrate i can't be more happy now, its truly a dream coming true this season!''

Ancient Forest FC, the most mysterious team of the league and known for their odd types in the squad.
This professional side in the previous league was considered one of the weakest teams, however this was wrongly thought so as they won plenty of matches against the odds that all seemed to be against them.
Thanks to their good management they could survive the crisis only forced to get rid of older players and all their foreign signings as Ancient Forest never had been a team with a large budget to afford stronger players.
Last year they've had a decent run finishing in the 8th place and maintaining Kai Schulz who was selected to play for the national team.

Coach Ozray Karazhan has been a former Starsian international himself and is known for good balanced playstyles and is experienced in the field of coaching where he in the previous league coached other clubs too.
Ancient Forest has some key players in Naimee Chiruchu, Kai Schulz and Cristiano Almeida who play on a whole diffrent level then the rest of the team and also two new talents joined the first team Zoran Jankovic and Ana Stojanovic.

Lastly its known that they are only one of the very few teams that kept their original form and returned to the league, Ancient Forest stands firm among large clubs like Phoenix United and Blizzard Academy that also returned.
Ancient Forest have by even surviving the great collapse shown that they are a more then capable side and we wish them the most of luck this season as they will look for a higher placement in the league and perhaps even a top 5 spot now they have maintained their key players.

Star Unicorn, a relatively new side in the football world but a team with great potential that managed to sign some of the big names in the league and also has alot of youth internationals.
Star Unicorn was formed during the great collapse by Starlight FC and Unicorns United (Starsian 3rd tier teams) with the ambition to combine their powers to make a professional club for those who really loved the sport instead of the money.
Professional sides Greenville and Port Vale FC collapsed and Star Unicorn that was just formed grabbed its chance and offered all players from those two teams that wanted a contract on the new team to give a head start to the new club.
Among others players like Niah Jennings, Rowena Watson, Jessica Heartfeldt and Douglas McArthur signed for the new team and with these players the team also managed to get its pro license despite still having a relatively small budget.

Further Star Unicorn is really a team from the big cities, they bring people from the urbanized areas together and are quite the opposite of Ancient Forest relying on hard work and a sport and education combination to guide players from child to adult.
Coach of the first team Gordon Borov has now taken over the duties from Justin Simons who dissapointed with a last place last season and also caused Mezzini to leave the team to seek better opportunities.
His place is filled with McArthur in the midfield and Rookes reinforces the defense as a temporary measure where we expect Vincent Leroy in the coming seasons to make his pro debut.

Star Unicorn lacks the budget to attract national star players which is holding them back by alot, however their own youth is considered very good with the siblings Eva and Matthias Weber considered the teams future stars and who are currently both youth internationals for our country and also in the senior team it is expected more players are to be selected for the national team after this season as the national team lacks currently alot of experienced players.

Rose Gryphon, its actually a team that used to be in the league but under a diffrent name.
Formerly this team was known as the Black Rose Academy, however this name became controversial after the great collapse for being too dark and depressive and a lack of positive portraying to the outer world, therefore a new name was chosen.
Rose Gryphon was the decided on as the new name for this club, however along with this also new management and new players came to the club and as old players retired new ones started to take their places in the squad.
Nowadays its a fully new team witb new energy and youthfulness that shines its light on the league.

Coach Juliëtte Moreau who stayed even during the collapse was tasked with this, but not many good players wanted to sign, but after their 3rd place last season their entire team has gotten a boost.
Attention for their team aswell as respect grew greatly and many young players want to play for the team, they are the only French speaking team so also for their language they are a very wanted team here.
Gaelle Moreau and Elodie Lefévre has made themselves pillars of support for the team with their leadership and skill making eleven people a unity and one that played very well during its IFCF matches but came short to qualify.

Most players are decent but it lacks those world class players a bit, the team has some good youth talents but Rose Gryphon still doesn't have the financial capability to bring in real world class players that they would like to.
Rose Gryphon is a club from the only french speaking province which is a province on the countryside with alot of agriculture but also known as one of the top tourist locations and as one of the most friendly locations and best holiday destinations for tourists of which billions visit the nation each year for our good weather and culture.

Phoenix United, another returning team but this is not just any team its one of the best national teams that exist together with maybe Blizzard Academy the best of the nation.
Phoenix easily survived the collapse with their large budget but took certainly hits and it were the higher ups and older players that paid the price of these economic hits to the club to ensure the fans did not pay the price either.
Further Phoenix United managed to get extra quality in their squad by the collapsing Red Bison and offered all talented players a contract to play for Phoenix which many did with Nicholas Valverde being the most controversial one as many teams wanted to sign the talentful keeper who is more then likely to be selected for the national team at the end of the season.

Ricardo Pescado a former national team player is the new coach and he managed to keep alot of talent in the squad but after the dissapointment that last season was old players had to go.
Esmeralda Fernandez, Alycia Mercedes and others were out and Sofia Martinez, Givi Floro, Isabel Ortiz, Ana Diaz and Carmen Hernandez now make the starting line-up in a new and younger team.
Its unknown how this season will go but this was something that was needed for a while, Phoenix may this season just surprise with their new players and even get some of these players in the national team.

Phoenix United is a team from the southern cities, where the sun always shines and the temperatures are hot, Phoenix United has been home to many national heroes like Marcus Blade one of the best strikers ever and also Maximillian Flare who was known as the student of Marcus Blade and later followed in his footsteps until his retirement in his late 30s a few years ago.
While Phoenix United is a strong team, the future for them in unsure and it is unknown how they will do this season with the new players but they are marked as potential title candidates and guaranteed IFCF football according to the bets, only time will tell though if this is actually the reality or the change will drag this new team down.

Blizzard Academy

Blizzard Academy, another returning team and together with previously mentioned Phoenix United probably the best team in the entire country full of talent and experience once again.
Blizzard has in the last years regained its form by replacing their old legendary squad with younger star players, each player is an individual talent and there is no player on this squad that wouldn't belong in the national team.
Only three players of the old team remained also to bring over their experience to this new and younger group of players, Leroy Russell and the best striker of the country and successor to Maximillian Flare the Ice Queen Holly Moonlight who is known for her ice cold finishing and ability to keep a cool and level head in every situation.
With those three aswell as many younger talents like Daniel O'keith, Christian Kurz and Amber Sunday this new young Blizzard Academy may even be stronger then it has been previously and they are also fan favourite for the title and IFCF spots.

Blizzard Academy also stands under new management, Evanlyn Glendyss who won many championships with this team said farewell at last and now this season after last season Alan White got sacked mid season Thomas Dunwell leads the team.
Dunwell has an average career as a player but has been able to gain needed wins and prevent a total disaster and nearly even getting a top 5 result despite the first half of the season being wasted terribly.
Many fans and experts hope that this year they are back with renewed motivation and energy to win those games and get back in the IFCF where their real opponents are rather then in this domestic league.

Blizzard is an old club, its located in the North of the country and is not easy to find, often training is forced to be inside because of the heavy snowfall or freezing temperatures that can go to -20 degrees celsius in the summer and -40 degrees celsius in the winters.
Because of this they are the only team permitted to hold their matches inside along with the Storm Wolves and Blizzard for that reason has build an entire indoor training facility to always be able to train regardless of the temperatures.

Cascade Academy

Cascade Academy, its a new club formed by two merging clubs known as Orion and Omega previously.
Both of these top teams were struggling to hold their players and even the government could not stop Omega from losing players and after long talks it was agreed that the clubs would merge to continue their existence.
Previously they had been very big rivals so it was very weird and bad at the start, this was also why the club leadership asked Adrian Broskov a retired top coach to return from retirement to help mediate and lead the team.
Adrian Broskov at first refused, he is an old man and had been busy with football all his life, though it was his grandson that in fact managed to get Adrian to agree and he agreed to do it for no more then three seasons at maximum.
After Broskov's return everything started to run more smoothly and players started to cooperate more and things began to fall in the right place which previously had not been working.

Star player of this new team is the keeper and captain Calvin Princeton who has been the main goalkeeper for the national team for years and has said he aims to continue doing so as long as he physically is fit for it.
Cascade Academy started focusing on their youth, many young players now play in national youth teams and all of them have very bright future's ahead of them With Phoebe Sky and Bilal Cruz expected to lay the foundations for the next generation as one of the youngest players in the current starting eleven of Cascade Academy.
This year Broskov brought back Daniel Müller from a foreign adventure, he has played well but is welcomed home now and will be on the bench for now until a spot in the first team opens up.
Also Kira Blade after her pregnancy finally rejoins and becomes the captain as she is the best player in the entire country at the moment and everyone will be looking forward to seeing her back on the field.

Cascade Academy is owned 50% by the Starsian government and 50% by the owners of Orion and neither can make a decision without the approval of the other side which is the first team to do this.
Its a complicated situation but both sides are working together as much as they can to create an exciting and fun game now and in the future though sometimes the amount of time decision making takes can be quite annoying for this team.
It leads to decisions being made too late or often just being blocked despite being a good idea as democracy in a football club is very hard to maintain and they will be marked as a potential title candidate and their great games and near qualification in the IFCF has given them a boost for the upcoming season to give it all they've got for an even better result.

Desert Lions, a team in the far South Western area of the country and where the players generally follow a diffrent culture and tradition then the rest of their fellow citizens.
This team was already a lower team in the old league and has slightly improved and somehow survived the collapse and surprised everything and everyone by taking the league by storm and winning the title of last season.
Super striker Angela Diaz signed for another season and is ready after an interesting debut in the IFCF leagues to once again battle for the second title with her team that did not hange much.

Previously the Desert Lions were very protective of the team and its distinct culture under new management and new coaching from former international Direm Hassan it seems to look like progress is being made very well.
Among the youth players young internationals are now emerging aswell being in tough competition with players from the top teams while Desert Lions now are suddenly a team to be watched and taken seriously.
They are one of the very few teams though that survived the collapse and that was thanks to the fact they allowed not many outsiders and also not alot of investors from beyond their own local circle that they trusted and knew.

Lastly this team is known for their extremely good endurance and speed, they can deal with high temperatures and continue running the entire match where other teams eventually would fall prey to fatigue.
They are very much in peak condition and any foreign players will most likely at the start have some trouble adjusting to the speed of their game and the intensity at which they play which is alot higher then they are used to, they have not been trained for such games and are usually caught off guard and realize too late they've been a prey for these lions all along.

Pegasus Orb FC

Pegasus Orb, possibly the most surprising newcomer in the league yet also the one with the best youth that is currently available being renowned for their youth academy and scouting program more then their senior team.
Pegasus Orb was an amateur team that was too strong for the other teams but always lacked the financial funds to compete with the professional clubs until the great collapse happened and they weren't affected because they were not a pro side.
They got the opportunity to replace the lost teams in this new league since they always had been a team capable of competing with the pro teams and they now finally look forward to make their debut as a professional club.
Pegasus Orb is an allround squad with not really a single tag, they are quite good at everything but exceptional at nothing except their youth management were many are in the U21 team and also a few in the U18 team.

Rojan Carerez former international for our country has taken up the task to train these players to compete with the big teams, he believes in this squad and the people that made this club into what it is today.
Most people know Carerez as a player for Red Bison until he retired and for the national team he often played as a substitute not really having alot of caps on his name though he has more then enough experience to bring this team forward.
Since they are unknown its also very hard to determine what sort of team Pegasus Orb is and what their standing among the existing league teams is because they do not have much experience on the pro level ending it in 11th place last season.

Among them currently Matthew Cooper leads the team from the back being a very solid defender who has more experience then his teammates and knows how to deal with complicated situations and can quickly decide and act on that decision.
Further also new talents like Elizabeth Phillips and Grace Edwards are starting to develop into very capable players that would lead the team into the future very likely in the coming seasons where they would see an aging squad.
Pegasus Orb is a club from the city, they have alot of contacts and people cheering for them but also are loved by the countryside being seen as a new team and a revolution for the footballing top teams to bring a new order in the league.

Equinox United

Equinox United, another team that is technically not new but coming from a combination between Haunted FC, Mirage United and several players from the second tier teams that were left without clubs.
They are an odd bunch, nothing really the types that would be your friends or where you'd often hang out with but certainly not unfriendly people but the team mostly is coming from the areas of the country that are rife with poverty and crime.
They represent the lower class of our country and many of those people can't even watch their games unlike fans of most teams because they simply have no money to spend on luxury.
Equinox is a strong team though they have Horus Whyte a former youth international on goal and Maddie Saturn in the defence the daughter of one of the most important people in current Starsian football Julian Saturn.
Joy Sol commands the midfield as if it is her own and in the front row we have probably the most dangerous combination in the entire league ready to score alot of goals Lilith Talisman, Jessica Nolan and Karina Crow who all have been youth international and played youth tournaments and are now looking to play their way into the main squad.

At the head of this very talentful squad is probably one of the most known defenders who quit at the same time as Maximillian Flare with his career as an international, it is Nicolay Moon former ace defender of the national team.
Nicolay Moon was the first ever international that Haunted FC had to offer to the national team and he is seen as a regional and club legend so its very good that he will be leading this team towards hopefully its best debut result.
They rely on the fear they can strike into the minds of their opponents by playing very strong and at the edge of what is fair but never seem to go over this edge perfectly in control of themselves at all times.

Equinox United is currently seen as a strong team with the ability to finish in the top five but due to the combination of players from diffrent teams, it is unsure how they will play against a team like Blizzard that always had played together.
Being a combined team is a strong point but also a weak point at the same time as it is a factor of uncertainty and it is up to coach Nicolay Moon this season to prove that Equinox can overcome that struggle with good football and form a challenge for big teams that look for an easy victory against a team like theirs.

Storm Wolves a new team last season but not entirely, Storm Wolves was formed years ago when Blizzard Academy became so large that diffrent opinions about how the club had to be ran started to conflict.
This conflict stayed internal until the collapse and that is when people had enough and Blizzard would see alot of second team players depart aswell as some of their top youth players to form an entire new club based on their own beliefs and values.
Furthermore an investor and the government also helped them to fund a new stadium for the team, Blizzard protested this ofcourse and the government withdrew but another investor took their place only making the stadium less large then its original idea.
Storm Wolves was chosen as a name as they saw themselves as Wolves chasing their prey Blizzard Academy and they had left during a storm and were still in a storm with everything that was going on around them.

Their main squad does not have big names or good players but its their youth thats good, their youth used to be the top of Blizzards own youth and were supposed to debut in Blizzard Academy in a few years.
Astrid Madsen, Anna Schwarz and Tobias Klein are among others the three best youth players currently in the team and on the main squad
Oskarsson Ekström is generally seen as the best player and also their captain and spirit leader, without him the team would not be as good as it is and not even be worthy of the pro level given most of the players were on the second team playing in the fourth tier the lowest national tier of football that there is for club teams and even there they were average.

Kyle Wolf former midfielder of the national team has accepted the task to teach them to play like professionals and to turn this team into a squad worthy of the investments and current position they are in.
There is a lot of pressure on this team and on their coach given everyone sees them as rebels from Blizzard who just were fed up with not being chosen as main players or felt they deserved better which isn't the case.
Blizzard's managment they say is corrupt and those who are chosen by status and familiar loyalty to the club are getting an advantage over the other players according to the Storm Wolves leadership and they assure that corruption in their club has no place.

They surprised everyone by getting a top 5 placement in their debut season, they are seen as a tough defensive team thats hard to break down but they do also have enough scoring ability.

Amazona United

Amazona United, one of the teams that have survived the great collapse and are back for more seasons in the new league.
With a new and strong squad Amazona United hopes to get good results this season being the team of technology and they have recently lost a court case against the association about using AI during the matches.
Amazona United wanted to equip their players with AI to enhance their vision and reaction time but the Association saw this as unfair competition because other teams do not have access to this kind of technology.
Amazona lost the case and have complied to the will of the association but are nonetheless not a team to mess around with, players like Petra Rafaelov, Sarah Nolan and Layla Raharinaivo are now on the team making them alot stronger.

In the middle of this and the bad result last season that saw Valerian being fired new coach Olivia Desley, a rookie coach that just aquired her needed qualifications will be taking the lead over this team for the coming season.
Her own career was pretty average, she wasn't a bad player but never really made it to the top, her experience on the pro level however helps her to bring this team hopefully to new heights and new success.

Amazona this year is seen to be average and a bit above average depending on their momentum, they have good games but also sometimes it just doesn't work and people do not believe that changed now.
Claiming an IFCF spot is certainly not impossible for this team but hard work will be needed, they will need to work very hard for every positive result and to compete with teams like Blizzard and Phoenix who stand at the top of the new league in terms of quality now.

Mount Olympus, previously a team of players that played like gods as they said but recently they have came down to earth a bit more seeing that their attitude is not making them loved by their fans or their teammates.
Years now after the incident with Christiana Love whose power went so out of control that she accidentally injured nearly an entire team the club leadership has put strict monitoring on the wellbeing and power control of its players.
Christiana was forced to retire from football by age 25 after the association had forbidden her to play any games on the pro level anymore and had deemed her guilty of bringing disgrace to the game.
Her fellow teammate Christian Fourseasons who was a year younger grew into a new role by her departure as leader and motivator of this new Mount Olympus that had lacked a leader after their original one was forced out.

Their coach is less impressive and actually very young, its Luca Viloca a 40 year old retired pro player, he never made it very far but was a stable starter in his team during his years as a player.
Mount Olympus simply had no money for a good coach as they had spent everything on their new programs and signing new players aswell as preserving others for their team and this left them with this choice.
Many new players joined including ones from Oberour ar moro and SouthNewlandia aswell as Joyce Villegas and Jocelyn Pineda who both were a surprise at the Lagoon and Prominence where they used to play until the great collapse.

Mount Olympus is a team as it says near a mountain and they train in the mountains sometimes too but they're very graceful and technically skilled players where accuracy and quality is more important then quality and overall a peaceful atmosphere is common
Mount Olympus as after nearly winning the title last season seen as a strong team that can cause alot of trouble this season aswell with Elmyian talent Ellen Honiton reinforcing the defense greatly and Luigi Parodi on the other side also from Elmyia coming to reinforce the team.
Even an IFCF spot is not impossible and neither is a title but we will need to wait and see if they can continue the impressive line from last season into this season aswell.

International Academy was founded with a purpose by the government and various former foreign players that played in the Starsian League and this purpose was to boost foreign influence in the league.
Foreign countries play alot better then us, they best us in the world cup and the IFCF so why not give some of their younger and more unknown players the chance to make name and fame in this league and gain experience aswell.
This was the idea behind its creation and soon the Academy started to recruit players from various nations but then again they also needed a foreign owner that has connections beyond our borders.

This owner was found in the nation of Ko-oren in the form of Magdalene Buchanan known for running Maynard AFC in Ko-oren, their international experience and connections will be a great asset for this club.
Further a good coach was needed aswell, this could only be Rose Daley the woman that aquired various championships with Blizzard Academy in the past and had been assistant coach of the national team aswell in the past.
Her experience with international football and top teams in this league would be of great importance.

They are currently an unknown team, their qualities are unknown but they are expected to be better then some of the lower tier teams given also players from nations like Chromatika and Cassadaigua are on the team, those nations are very strong when it comes to football and even their youth still outskills ours by alot so we can learn alot.
Further we have more experienced players from nations like Brookstations and the Squornshelan Remnant States among others who are expected to bring experience to the team and lead them to victories.
Whatever will happen it is sure to be a very interesting season ahead for this team as they look to achieve good results.

Hello folks we are back for a new season and honestly due to a lack of time atm since i returned quite short to the deadline this season it will be final results only and some interesting statistics.

Phoenix won this season on goal diffrence and is crowned champion of the 2036/2037 season of our league.

Matchday 1 to 4 recap

As the season has gotten underway the first few matches have been played and some interesting results have been displayed and in preparation of the international football season the time to show yourself is now.
With that in mind all players go out there to show their best and give it all they've got but in the end only one team can crown itself champions of this season and we will take you through the start of the season.

After 4 weeks of football we can clearly Equinox United surprisingly has taken the lead after two dissapointing seasons finishing 7th and 11th but with a team currently in its prime and in the best condition it will be it looks good so far.
Known for its odd playstyle and characters Equinox for any team is quite a guess to play against, makes it hard really plan any strategy against them but its predicted that after this year its aging squad will also start to decline.
They are followed by 3 teams with each 8 points this being Pegasus Orb last years runners-up, Blizzard Academy a historically strong team looking with a few new faces to get to the top again and their arch rivals the Storm Wolves also have the same amount of points.

Each of those teams is strong although Blizzard has been predicted to be a title contender this year among others, with many players in the national team and all players in prime condition they aswell are at peak strength, among new faces at Blizzard there is Lina Hansen who represents the youth at this team.
Veteran Russell is working on his final season after playing for Blizzard for over 14 years its time to finally after this season be the last veteran to retire, Russell played with many great players like Dave Carlsson, Alan White, Klara Jenssen and many more and won many prizes in his long career making it according to him a good time to quit now he can still be remembered as good as he is.

Cascade a few points behind along with the Desert Lions and Star Unicorn are looking good and can still find their way back to the top, Cascade is also considered a favourite as the government sponsored team aims for more.
With the return of Morris Valerian as coach a legendary mdifielder and one of the best players in Starsian history has found its way back to the field passing down his knowledge and skill to the new generation of players.
With one of them he even played on the field, veteran Kira Blade who lately has received alot of criticism as many people expected her to retire early out of respect for the youth waiting for spots on the team, however Kira has stated she will continue to play for many years to come as long as she is able to keep up with the team.
Its unknown how the star of our national football team takes this criticism, she has not made any further comments since.

We then find Amazona, Olympus and Phoenix and as last years champions Phoenix is under alot of pressure given they have a really strong squad probably one of the best if not the best in the entire league right now.
They occupy the 10th place at the moment after bottling two games against Equinox and the Desert Lions which they could have easily won but through many mistakes they ended up losing those here.

At the very bottom we find Ancient Forest and Rose Gryphon After finishing 9th last season with a new coach Rose Gryphon hoped for improvement but got the complete opposite doing even worse then expected.
They are last in the rankings, several riots with angry fans have occured and police was required to calm everything down multiple times as the pressure on the board and the manager increases to get atleast some results.
It is very clear that the current mood around this team is not too happy.

Other news

In other news new elections are coming up aswell and its currently a busy time, current President Alexander Stark has been in power since 2002 a grand total of 36 years winning a total of 9 elections against several diffrent opponents.
However now aged 73 and turning 74 at the time of election he has announced not tbe running for re-election for his 10th victory, this shocked everyone but also gained great respect as he has been the longest democratic elected president in our history.

There are several new candidates but the main battle shall be between the Liberals, Social-Democrats and the Conservatives and the Stark belonged to the last one who were also not expecting this announcement.
Born in 1964 Alexander Stark saw the rise of the country its industrialization aswell as its countless hardships and crisis and he led us through the 2000s full of economic turmoil into the 2010s which saw recovery and eventually where in the 2020s and 2030s through large projects the economy flourished and the infrastructure improved greatly and unemployment reached an all time low.
Alexander Stark after this announcement was given the Holy Starsian Cross for his outstanding and long service to the nation and his willigness to compromise with many politicians forming both majority and minority governments during his long term reign.

An era comes to an end but a new one starts an era without a loyal pillar of support but who we all respect, may he enjoy his retirement.

Starsian Super League

Matchday 5 to 8 recap

In the next 4 weeks of football there was alot of change in the standings, a surprise saw the Storm Wolves the arch rival of Blizzard Academy rise to the top spot in the league after winning all 4 matches in a row.
Their opponents all were tough, Blizzard their rivals, Phoenix United, Cascade and Rose Gryphon all strong teams but they overcome all obstacles and now find themselves leading the league which is quite surprising seeing their squad quality.
While they have good young talents such as Sarah Huber and Johanna Koch the majority of the team consists of pretty basic players with basic abilities with a few exceptions like Astrid Madsen and Kari Martinsen.
They were the ones who broke away from Blizzard after alot of Storm Wolves players had heard they would be sold to overseas sub par teams and never would be playing in the SuperLeague leading them to create their own team and club.

Star Unicorn made a dramatic rise from 7th to 2nd gaining 5 spots getting mixed results but important victories when it counts and below them Equinox remains consistent despite falling from 1st to 3rd place in the ranks.
Their team is currently running a good consistent season like we know them for, good consistent seasons with good consistent players and both teams look to challenge the Storm Wolves for the top spot later in the season.
Angela Diaz has become Star Unicorns topscorer and team captain in relatively short time after her return to our league by high exception of the association and she had elevated this team to a whole new level.
In an interview with national team Keira Walcott earlier prior to a qualification match she mentioned that if Diaz had been a great asset to the offensive capabilities of the current Starsian team being a diffrent type of striker then Schulz.

We find the Desert Lions and Pegasus Orb next, both teams in recent time have undegone changes and are adjusting well to the team changes with new young players in the spots old veterans used to fill in.
Desert Lions is certainly looking for a new title being the former club of Diaz but without Diaz it will be alot more tough and with a new generation of players slowly emerging to take over its a time where they look for good results and championships come second.

We then find Blizzard the arch rival of the Storm Wolves, Cascade and Amazona united all top teams with great history and seeing them this low in the standings so far has been quite surprising given their great quality of players.
Its known that Amazona is slowly replacing its older players but teams like Blizzard and Cascade have a few established names that refuse to retire at the cost of younger players who now face being sold to overseas clubs next season, among such veterans are Kira Blade, Calvin Princeton and Holly Moonlight who have a history and are nationally recognized players.
Especially Kira Blade, the fans would not accept an early retirement and she has no intention to either stating in an earlier interview that as long as she feels able to keep up with the time she will continue.

At the bottom we find Rose Gryphon, Ancient Forest and Phoenix United with Phoenix being last placed their manager is under heavy pressure Ricardo Pescado who made them champions last year is now last.
We did ask the President of the club Lorenzo Cazador about it and he said the manager will be judged at the first half of the season and from there they will either take action or make a plan for the remainder of the season to improve the situation.
Team captain Federico Zaratti affirmed the teams trust in Pescado stating that the team aswell with new players needs to find the right combination and that they are working on all sides to improve from here on out.

Only time will tell if they actually improve, for now these are your standings.
