About the Listing

The Trimaris Company Listing is an overview of Lisander and other Trimaris nations¹ companies with an interest in exploring overseas markets, whether by selling products, services, establishing subsidiaries or joint ventures. The information on this listing, specifically when referring to standardization of what are the companies activities, follows the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities, developed by the RLStates UN, a bad taste copy of the World Assembly. Any company that possibly falls outside the scope of these regulations will be dealt with in due time. Also, refer to the Types of Companies in Lisander factbook.

Why?

The user behind Lisander, namely me, is quite a perfectionist, which makes me not do things for fear of "not making them perfect". Over the past nine years around here, I've created over a hundred brands. First to fill sponsorship slots on football shirts, then to fill RP gaps. Currently, most of them are just stockpiled, without generating any roleplay return. Previously I had done a "stock exchange", but it turned out not to be a viable choice because people kept asking me if I wanted companies from their countries to invest in mine. In fact, it wouldn't be a bad idea, but as it wasn't what I wanted, I put the idea aside. I don't think this is the best format to present Lisander's brands... Ideally, it would be nice to have a storefront for each of these brands. But then I would be reprimanded by admins for spamming. Plus, if you count the fact that many brands have no developed products or services (only implied), it would be even more work. So I decided to make a Companies Listing thread, where I can introduce them briefly, and as they are developed, some of them may even get proper storefronts.

¹: Trimaris, apart from being a puppet-storage region, is kind of "an organization on its own right". So even if Lisander is in the region of Astyria, Montesina is in the region of Anaia, Nassovia is in the region of The League, Neomaris is in the region of Esportiva, et cetera, they keep being nations of Trimaris.
