The Executions Act
A resolution to improve basic rights
The General Assembly,
Aware executions may be given out unintentionally to innocents falsely convicted of serious crimes such as murder,
Observing these innocent peoples' families being torn apart by this false death,
Wishing to create a better environment for all in which people may not be falsely subject to death because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time,
Hereby ;
a) Defines "execution" as the act of the federal government carrying out a sentence of death,
b) Bans any form of execution to prevent innocent lives and people with mental disabilities from being lost,
c) Instead, replaces execution penalties with maximum-security prison,
d) Creates any person subject to a maximum-security prison basic rights such as the right to practice religion, the right to proper food, and the right to see their relatives or close friends, all regardless of the crime they might have committed which could have lead to an execution,
e) And recognize nations and the WA have no right to take a life of a person because of any crimes that person may have committed.
It ends there, and Vrandaria might submit this proposal. May anyone with reasonable experience please check over this proposal and help us out to fix it up? This is my first time making a proposal, so I'd appreciate some help. Thanks.
