We're a thriving, realistic, Modern Tech, RP region founded on the grounds of quality before quantity with a dedicated and experienced moderation team, a lively and accepting Discord & good community spirit, and an extremely rich regional history. Here, we aim for a mostly realistic world, and provide nations and players with a suitable ground for RPs, with a frequently updated and high-quality map, solid backstory and history, and international politics and alliances. Atlas is one of the best RP-based regions out there and should be your first choice of region as a RPer- feel free to ask questions about us to see if this is the region for you!
Included in Atlas is a regional Miraheze (Wiki), a moderated and friendly Discord with organized channels for discussion of world-building (including military equipment claims) and more general subjects, expansive canon, RP, and a number of community members with a wide variety of knowledge covering countless subjects to help you build interesting, realistic canon with us.

Our region is realistic and modern-day - accordingly we use modern weapons, technology, and ideas. Balance is also a factor here, and number-wanking/powergaming are not appreciated. If your country is does not fit this ideal, please modify your idea into something that will work better in New Atlas. An example application will be included in the first post under this OP.
