Applauding the idea and concept behind GA#4.
Recognizing, though, that the resolution itself could be written in a clearer way that would leave less space for malevolent misinterpretation especially for the following reasons:
1) Article A allows to the single nation to decide autonomously the age of majority at which its citizens are able to work, rendering the entire resolution essentially useless as it makes it possible for any state to allow child labor by setting embarrassingly low "age of majority".
2) Article B section 1 is essentially too vague to serve any purpose as it does not even attempt to define both "physical" and "psychological" abuse.
3) Article B section 7 does not define at all what "long hours" or "full time education" thus once again leaving space for malevolent misinterpretation.
4) Article D does not define what "age of consent" means, wether it is the same as the "age of majority" and who gets to set it and is consequently useless and inapplicable.
Believing that a resolution for the protection of children is necessary but that GA#4 is not suited for that important task and that a new, better worded, resolution will need to be passed soon
The World Assembly hereby repeals GA#4 "Restrictions On Child Labor"
I am completely open to feedback so if you believe something might need to be changed please tell me and we'll see what we can do about it.
P.S.: Due to my ineptitude I initially posted this directly to the General Assembly without drafting, realized my mistake I deleted it and am now drafting it.
